I found your diary through noaddedme...I really like your three chicks weight loss time line. I would like to borrow it for myself, if that's OK? I am 5 feet and wiegh 190 pounds...I have been trying to motivate myself to lose wieght since I turned forty. I hope you don't mind my peeking in here and there? Thanks! And I hope you feel better!
from mrshippo :
You haven't up-dated in a while...I hope you're okay, and all is well with you!
from mrshippo :
I am so ready for spring =) Your pictures were great.
from haxabubbla :
Hi! long long time ago I started this diary and you were nice enough to add me as a buddy. But the I fell of the wagon and just now I'm starting to ride it again. So I added you to my buddylist. Wish me luck!
from sheschanging :
Hello, I came across your diary in the weightloss ring, and decided to add you. I to am on a mission to get to my ideal weight. Add me back if you'd like. :) See ya later! ♥
from swirl-girl :
Hey there! Threading is an Indian technique where they take 2 pieces of string and twist them together and then the threads unwind really quickly and takes the hair off in the process. It hurts like a mother but for some reason, the results are so much nicer than waxing. A cleaner line I think. I've only found 2 places that do it, one in Jackson Heights, Queens and now this new on in Manhatten. I think once more people catch onto it, they'll pop up in more places. Hope you're doing well too! My year hasn't been the superstar year so far that I hoped it would be but it hasn't been horrible either. I guess that's okay.
from mydiet2006 :
Thank you for noting me and adding me to your faves. I have just read on your past and I think you have just done so wonderfully. I have a lot to lose to make it to a healthy weight but thats all I am doing it for. My health. I am not into vanity but I have a little boy I so dearly love and want to set a good example to. You really are an inspiration. Keep up the amazing work. Becca. (ps if you want my other diary address send me your email and I will send details. I wish for my other one not to be associated with this diary as it is strictly my diet one and don't want people too close to me to know of this one.)
from noaddedme :
It's ok to just have some sucky down times alright? Hope you are feeling better soon!
from healthykat :
Hi there. Just found you through someone else's diary and thought I'd say hello. I'll be reading. :-)
from sarahsundae :

from mystruggle88 :
Hey! My name is Marisa and I just started my own weight loss journal. I just wanted to let you know how inspirational you are to me :)
from swirl-girl :
The eggnog tea is by Bigelow and the Chocolate Caramel Chai is by Celestial Seasonings. MMM mmm MMMMMMMMMMMM....... Yayyy on your new bras! You look FABULOUS by the way, no wonder you cause such a stir (hee hee). A great bra is a compliment you give yourself, put it on and you'll be feeling fabulous about yourself all day. Get fun colors too!
from xindulge :
wow, youve lost alot of weight, thats a hard thing to do and keep up. congratulations =) that makes me feel like i can do it too.. anyways. keep up the good work, on your journy, and your page.
from theswordsman :
Thanks. Natalie Wood was actually drinking champagne. It's from a film called The Great Race. She was a reporter pushing for women's rights. She told Tony Curtis that she was the National (or International) fencing champion. He beat her, and said that he was the men's champion. There's another really cool fencing scene in it as well. Take care. John

NOW, YOU FOUND THE MOST IMPORTANT MAGIC IN THE WORLD. IT IS LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP!
from swirl-girl :
Your notes always make me cry!!! Thank you so much honey for thinking of me. You're one of the kindest people I've ever met -- I just wish I could actually meet you in person! BTW -- loved your craft project! How clever!!! And what a fab compliment to get. You've got the whole package going my friend -- beautiful on the inside AND outside! Thanks again for your thoughts, I know I'll get home safe and sound now. :)
from fresh-fish :
I've found myself wondering the same thing. My dad was a master machanic and he fixed EVERYTHING. It's hard to deal with not having Dad to help anymore. I can't tell you how to deal with these feelings. The only thing I can tell you is to try and be strong. Don't be afraid to tell people to back off if you are getting those feelings. Honestly, sometimes a little ice cream is what you need.
from marilynnv :
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
from fresh-fish :
haven't left you a note in a while, thought I'd just say hey! =)
from normaltoilet :
LOVE the new template! (but there is a little problem with the links under the Buttons heading) :) NT
from gwtw :
looks good! nice not having to scroll in a little window....oh, and congrats on your good news too
from swirl-girl :
Oh, I'm ready girlfriend. BRING IT, that's what I say. Thanks so much for the notes over the past few months, it's so nice to have someone in your corner and you always make me smile. HUGS!!!
from red-jade :
I think it's a good thing you didn't ride your bike today. My understanding is that the body benefits from days of rest to recuperate. I have been thinking maybe you were pushing too hard. Not to say that I wasn't proud and impressed of your invigoration.
from mrshippo :
I'm having some minor surgery this week! Wish me luck. Good idea about mixing the dressings...Thanks!!!
from fresh-fish :
thank you for the note.
from twangry :
Thanks for the add. I'm Calcine btw. :)
from calcine :
I've been reading through your archives...you have such a beautiful "voice" in your writing.

What are you doing to lose all that weight. I've dropped fourty pounds but I still need to lose thirty five more. HELP
from sarahsundae :
omg-i can hear my mom singing right now. she always sings that song. *lol*
from normaltoilet :
Sorry i don't know how to fix the template for you... BUT... if you were so inclined you could go to 'view' and 'source' on your broswer and see the text in notepad format. just a thought if you are feeling that curious :) otherwise... i'll keep reading and being inspired by ya anyway :) NT
from normaltoilet :
I am admiring your determination right now... I've been slacking for a month now and am having a hard time turning that around. Good for you! NT
from swirl-girl :
Cross-stitch! Crochet! Knit!! Anything that keeps your hands busy and is something you wouldn't want to get doritos stain on (haha, that's my problem anyway). Or, just go tap! BTW, are you a bigger fan of the heeled tap shoes or the cute mary-jane style ones? I have both, I think the heeled ones are easier to tap in, the flat ones you really have to be more precise with your feet.
from fresh-fish :
thank you for the note. =) cats are wonderful creatures aren't they? Anyway I've got a date with the new Harry Potter book! ta ta
from swirl-girl :
Awww...thanks for the note! Thanks so much, if only my office was as kind as you! Glad to hear you're feeling better, hope your bro is too!
from melpomene03 :
I liked reading some of your diary's entries. You seem like an original person.
from normaltoilet :
I've been right where you are many times, and I'm sure I will be many more. The only comfort I can give is that it will pass and things will be/seem/feel better again. <3 NT
from fresh-fish :
hope your brother starts to feel better. Best wishes from fish
from fresh-fish :
hope your brother starts to feel better.
from fatfree4me :
Thanks for the note...I love notes. I'm glad your brother's surgery went well. If we lose enough weight, maybe swirl-girl will have enough room in her suitcase for both of us. :-)
from swirl-girl :
You'll be thin enough to fit into my carry-on, nevermind my suitcase! Best wishes to your bro, thank goodness he has you.
from swirl-girl :
Girl, you need to post some pictures. We want to see how gorgeous you are!

from normaltoilet :

from mrshippo :
Seems like it's been forever, so just thought I would say hi. I know I am not doing as good as you all, I'm to afraid to even step foot back on a scale! Well, keep up the good work!!!!!
from swirl-girl :
Aww, I can't believe you thought of me! Geez, I don't even worry about my form when I run, I just try to not to collapse most days! HAHA! I will post pics of the kitchen when I'm done, thanks for being happy for me! When I was making my SBD-friendly lunch (a spinich salad with FF cheddar cheese, almonds, and some leftover steak), on my new counter I thought "wow, I feel like I'm in a cooking show!" Thanks for all your notes, I really appreciate them!
from mrshippo :
Congrats!, You're doing GREAT =o) Thanks for the notes of encouragement, they mean alot!
from shrink-me-05 :
WOW!! 102 pounds! That is so amazingly wonderful! I am sooooo inspired now to get back on track with my weightloss! I haven't written in awhile, feeling frumpy and ashamed- but you have totally made me turn an about face with your awesome news! Way to go! I can't wait until I can one day share the same awesome news! :-)
from swirl-girl :
Congratulations! I missed out on the lead-up to the show but I'm so glad to hear it went well. You're a star!

Hi, you're doing great...Keep up the good work. As for me, I have fallen off the wagon...I must get back on! Just wanted you to know, how proud I am, CONGRATS!
from chubbymum :
A V is like a red bull? Do you have that there? It is like an energy drink with guarana in it. Quite addictive he he he. But the V for vodka does sound good... lifting skirts hmmmmm ;-)
from notaboutthin :
hope you feel better soon!! ~ Kaire
from swirl-girl :
Feel better! You'll be shuffle-ball-change'ing in no time!
from j-a-y-c-e-e :
I just made a random observation. You're about 1 pound from being half way through and reaching your goal! Yippeee! ... Hmm don't know why I noticed that, but i did!
from j-a-y-c-e-e :
Heh, thanks (about the comment on saying my brother is cute) ... I think. I'm not sure I'm comfortable admitting that sort of thing, but yea. I do like to be seen in public with him! I'm all like "yes yes, this is MY big brother!" ... part of me strives to be like him. *sighs*
from mkia :
[1/24/05] UGH! The server is down AGAIN. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I found today's post very inspirational and uplifting yet very down to earth. You've made some monumental changes and not just with your weight, I hope you are very proud of those accomplishments! Keep up the great work -- I adore your positive outlook! ~Missy~
from j-a-y-c-e-e :
Oh, ok, thanks, an email would be cool! I like emails, they make me look popular, in an look-at-me-people-send-me-emails-everyday kind of dorky way. Nevermind. Thanks
from j-a-y-c-e-e :
May I ask how many dress-sizes you've gone down since losing 83lb?
from mkia :
[1-23-05]: Comments are off right now due to server maintenance, so I thought I'd drop you a note to tell you to stop being so hard on yourself (that comment about the mirror) and to give you a big Hoo-rah on your continued success. What a terrific feeling that must be to not get as easily winded! You go, GIRL!
from swirl-girl :
Congrats on the triple time step, that's a doozy! Can you do pullbacks? I fell on my azz once during a tap class (I took it up as an adult) trying to do them. You make me want to find my shoes and see what I can remember!!
from j-a-y-c-e-e :
Thanks for the message you left me in my guestbook. It's good to know I'm not doing this on my own, y'know? And also, you're learning tap! Oh man I LOVE tap dancing, I used to take lessons. In fact, I just love dancing, full stop. I used to take ballet, tap, ballroom, modern disco and jazz. Who'd have thought? *sighs* ... and yet, I still look like a blimp...BUT that's changing now! Thanks for your support. J xx
from chubbymum :
Thank You for my message! You are right! When I wrote this it was straight after finding out and I hadn't had time to think about it. I went home and looked at how much I had lost and it is almost a tub of margarine... so that put it into perspective for me. Thank you for caring! Thank you for reading! Have a wonderful day. Chubbymum

from mrshippo :
Just wanted to say thanks for adding me to your fav's =-) I hope I can be an inspiration to you! I have also now added you to my list, and need to start reading your diary to catch up. Have a good day!
from fat-to-thin :
Heh, yeah, LOCKED is the important word. Our complex we're in now also has a gym, but it's unlocked 24hrs... which means there are about 20 homeless people who live in it & sleep on the equipment.
from shrink-me-05 :
Touching entry. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear cousin. Cyber hugs {{{{Queen}}}}
from fat-to-thin :
I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. :( Take care.
from shrink-me-05 :
Mmmm, you're making me crave cabbage! I have to agree that cabbage is better than lettuce...more flavor, more crunch, more substance! Yay for cabbage! lol
from shrink-me-05 :
Thank you so much for your encouraging note, I really truly appreciate it! You give me so much hope and I enjoy checking in daily to see what the "Queen" has written! :-)

Hi! I've been reading your diary this morning! GREAT STUFF! You've inspired me! Thanks for the note you left me. I was beginning to think no one was reading my drivel.

Congratulations on all your weight loss success! I am just now starting to journal my weightloss and I am so inspired by reading your diary! Keep it up! You are doing a wonderful job!
from completeliar :
the only information i know is erroneous and irrelevant
from fat-to-thin :
Just to let you know, cause I don't mention it much, but I also lost my dad around the holidays, when I was 20. (Almost 3 years ago now.) I was actually thinking of him tonight. It does get better. Sometimes it still hurts and it still feels like it's not fair, but I would rather have him where he is now than still here with me, sick. Sometimes I'm sad because I can't sit down and talk to him and tell him about my life, but then I realize that he can see me just fine. I miss him so much, especially at the holidays, but you know... they're still with us and we will see them again.
from fat-to-thin :
PLEASE keep posting your meal plans! You're giving me inspirations and hints on what to plan for myself to eat.
from mrshandmodel :
Of course I would adopt you.. but only if you'll agree to sing ME lullaby's at night. Btw-- can you believe "jen" was taken as a username??? Diaryland is weird.
from fat-to-thin :
Girl, I "stop by" any time you update. ;) 299!!!! How FABULOUS! Do you do the same thing I do, which is dance around boogie fashion singing the numbers at the top of your lungs? Hee.
from thinartist :
Hip.... hip.... hooray! Wearing jeans is very cool. (I find that my jeans are my toughest body critic.) You're doing great. I am glad to hear that you're getting positive feedback. jenny lynn
from fat-to-thin :
Yay, you're back! I missed you. You're so inspiring. WRITE MORE. Hehe.
from nyriad :
congrats on your huge loss! whoa, that sounded odd.
from harakiri :
Thank you for the guestbook note! :) Good luck on your WL journey! You are doing great so far!
from nyriad :
you are beautiful, you know that? don't ever let anyone tell you you aren't. five minutes of skimming your diary and i know it already.
from fat-to-thin :
Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you, that you have decided to do something. "The longest journey begins with a single step"... you are already on a great path. Keep it up and keep writing... it helps so much to vent all those icky feelings instead of keeping them cooped up inside.
