P.S. remember to tick the little preview box after you do ctl-u so you can see how bad it's gonna look
from cloudbase :
So, with the Photoshop thing, there's lots of options. One pretty easy one would be to select the eyes somehow (hit 'w' for wand and then click on one, hold the shift key, and click on the other might do it). Then try Ctl-u. That brings up a dialog that will let you play with lightness, hue (i.e. colour) and saturation (sort of like how dense the colour is). If that doesn't work, just try clicking on things and pushing all of the buttons. Or have a cat walk across the keyboard.

that's creepy - getting outed to the public by your flatmate by his strange obsession or just for fun - new media give a new dimension to gossip - but at least they give much more evidence (if you find out) than just the spoken words of gossiping..

De nada - I live to help :) Dxx

It's sad your precious brain is giving you gyp. Get well soon, poor Inky. x

V. Happy Birthday. Thanks to the Unicorny one's phrasing, now I'm thinking of the Simon Pegg shuffly Spaced happy birthday dance. S'funny. Sad that you have no sophistication, but there's always next year. (They should use the name 'Sophistication' to launch a classy new designer cider - or cider liqueur, maybe.) Plus, did you know that 'In-ki-so-ZO' = Navajo word meaning 'girl, twig in hair'? Right, let me just read this all back to check it's not too mad sounding. Perfect.
from unicornsting :
so - happy birthday to ya!

Oh, what summer can do to a person.
from cloudbase :
A good point - which I want to spoil by making it all full of boring. I read that since it's cheap these days to make any bag (or picture or other arty thing), rich people are forced to choose *ugly* expensive things if they want to show off. If they chose nice looking art or fashion, poor people would only ruin it by getting something similar.

Empty cups? Well, my Grandma couldn't watch old Henry the Eighth era films on TV because there'd be lavish feasts and she couldn't bear the thought of all that washing up. In case you were wondering.
from cloudbase :
There was a programme on one of the satellite channels the other day called something like 'Models and the World of Modelling'. It turned out to be about making miniature scenery for Hornby railways. Maybe they're looking for guests to go on that.

You 'did have' a C.S. mug? But you don't now? Is that because you left it behind when you escaped from some secret hide-out that was on fire and seconds later the whole place blew up and you thought, well that's it, it's broken. But inside, under a pile of rubble and broken beams, your mug was miraculously, impossibly intact. Was that what happened? I'm going to take that awkward pause as a 'yes, exactly'.
from cloudbase :
Didn't mean to embarrass you. In fact I realised afterwards, when I said I'd *read* your blog, what I meant was that I'd glanced at it once, really, really quickly, sort of out of the corner of my eye. It looked fine and all, but I wouldn't really know, because I wasn't paying attention. Nope. In fact, Inky who?
from cloudbase :
Noooooo, don't stop updating. None of your posts are any of the things you said: pointless, boring or gibberish. I spend a fortune on books and I don't enjoy one in a hundred as much as reading your blog. And I write - I've sold enough books to call myself a proper writer - and I still get a little bit jealous of the way you just seem to stuff a bunch of words into a post, apparently at random and without even reading them back to see you spelled them right, and they still manage to be funny or ridiculous or brilliant or sad. Most people write horribly (I read unpublished manuscripts too so I know) or if they can express themselves at all, then it turns out their brains are full of pompous nonsense that I don't care about. Most of *them* are writing pointless, boring gibberish and they should stop. You, on the other hand, should keep on sharing what you think about stuff if you can possibly bear to. It's like your duty, or something. Your duty to your fans. Plus it can't hurt to have people out there in Internetland, thinking supportive thoughts in your direction and cackling at your jokes, can it?

Thanks for adding me as a fave!

Sorry to hear about your friend. That must have been a shock to you too. I hope he recovers quickly. My brother was a victim in an unprovoked attack almost 5 years ago, they never found who did it but it was tough on everyone. Becca.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
