psh. you guys are such lesbians! but me too, so it's okay. sondra and i are going on 3 years now, kate's well in the past, we're getting ready to move into a house (once we've finished renovating it), and have 3 cats, amongst other furry friends. i caved - i got a facebook (shame). now i just need to figure out how to use it. probably you used AIM before - don't need AOL to use that. or one of the other free downloadable AIM programs.

I think I'm in season 2 actually. I just saw the episode where George dies on the plane and Michael, Brian, and Ted spend a night in the slammer. The scene where they get pulled over was hilarious. I never knew a drunk Brian and an angry Michael could be so funny.

Hey sweetie. I hope things are going okay. About Ally and medication. I totally understand that. I am not medicated myself, but I get the reasons for being on or being off of it. I don't know what she takes or what she takes it for (though I could hazard a guess), but any mood stabilizing drug has drawbacks as well as positives. That being said, there are valid reasons why they are prescribed. It's not all unnecessary. If Ally's having difficulties - then maybe going back on is the best idea. Whatever is best for her, of course.

I personally LOVED the pinking of the names! Just an FYI! What you said about Ally absolutely makes sense. I've always said this to all of my friends (because I'm the relationship guru, right?). In order to be in a successful and happy relationship, you have to be your own person. How can you function if you depend on the other person for absolutely everything? You need your own friends, your own hobbies, your own life. Your lives have to co-exist, not cancel each other's out. You'll either get tired of it, or they will and then one of you will become angry or jealous or both and it just won't be a good scene. Be co-dependant while being simultaneously independant. Or something. See this is one of those instances you mentioned where it sounds better in my head than on paper.

I also read The Wives of Bath, after searching long and hard for it online. I was pumped when I finally found one, waited two long, miserable weeks to get this book that I "just knew" was going to be great. I was also baffled at how they went from book to movie and was sad to say that I was very dissapointed. Just wanted to let you know that youre not the only one who thought that.
