Things are ... thing-y. How are you?
from theshivers :
It is SO hard to look at my older entries. I truly don't recognize that person anymore.
from daath :
Being committed sucks. My wife and mother-in-law threatened that a few times recently, when the depression was at its worse. I dearly hope piecing things back together will be okay. Take care.
from daath :
Oh hell. Someone else who updates. Not that I really update. But goddamn. Good on you for updating.
from hitch-hike :
I remember you! I saw your name on a list of public entries and made my visit. Thanks for stopping by again :)
from dangerspouse :
I'm very sorry to hear of your kidney infection. I understand that can be quite painful. Whatever concoction you're brewing for pain, I do hope it's effective. All the best.
from xnamehere :
good luck with the move!
from xnamehere :
thanks sweets ^^ hehe you make jail sound totally doable. i have been in sort of a worst-case scenario mode myself.. dling as much as i can and working with the 10gb of free space i have left. i has run out of disks :( and i happen to need my cpu for school and such so i don't want to run the risk of willy-nillying up a virus. the secretive hubs for passing information sound interesting. reverting to IP addresses seems doable, but like you said, very archaic. *shudders*
from bbhs :
Hi there, thanks for the add :) Your diary hurts my eyes, which is a shame because your writing makes me smile. It does indeed look like myspace shizz a la 90s cutting edge... but it hurts my eyes, so there is definitely a problem there. Can I politely offer to make you a new layout that incorporates your current 'alien amiss' header pic? If politeness offends, just ignore. I am still flattered by the add and will add you back anyways, even though I am rarely on and generally forget to update (as you may have noticed). :p
from lanienaked :
i've never heard of this website. when I have some time I will have to take a look...
from xnamehere :
on second thought... the penis is evil... i do remember that much.
from xnamehere :
haha zardoz... holy fuck my symbolism teacher made us watch that movie for class. i didn't remember any of it... i remember being speechless... hmm now i'm intrigued.
from hitch-hike :
I remember you! How's it goin? Welcome back!
from shor-t :
Sure has been pal. I had to lock this stupid diary because I literally was getting 50-60 penis enlargement/cialis/fake rolex spam emails a day but guess what, it hasn't changed anything. I guess when you email circulates and is out there it is impossible to get back. Anyways, if you ever read my diary you have to put in your username and the password is slayer. Of course.
from gonzoprophet :
ah...i live near the vegas area. if you wanted to send me what you know about the kid, i could possibly look into it for you. i understand that not knowing for certain might be more appealing and, of course, i'm not certain i would find him...but i certainly feel for you and felt the need to offer - [email protected]
from shor-t :
hey pal, not sure if you are going to be writing much anymore since it's been nearly a month since your last entry. i had to lock my diary because of all the spam that's been going around. i sent you the password if you want to ever read mine. hope you are well.
from shor-t :
Any thoughts on that Walking Dead show?
from stellarrobot :
"Sunshine Shitheads" - you're a gem :)
from xnamehere :
oops.... my internets gay.
from xnamehere :
haha, yeah but i'd totally smoke with you. at least you're giving it a chance. i think that's respectable.

from tsulnagrom :
haha 'bouncing-up hover text?" i'm not sure if i know what you mean.
from xnamehere :
yay! ur getting high... i'm so proud of you! :D
from melodymetuka :
I'd really like it if you could look at the code and see what, if anything, can be done to fix it. I don't even know how to go about that - explain to me in really small words and I can probably do whatever is necessary. Thanks, really! Mel
from daath :
Yo. How are you?
from shor-t :
My vote is the strap on angle.
from killsoft :
dear alien, stop probing innocent farmers.
from acornotravez :
I like your background, the color + design are cool!
from avox :
Simple is nice. I like it. But I also love your scribbles and Alien-ness. Keep up the writing; it's very unique.
from caudelac :
You'll have to remind me from whence I know you-- this being a newthing. (And yes, it totally is. And for breakfast, Luftwaffles.)
from aliannmil :
I took look at your source, it isn't removing a center, you need to add an align left after your center of the before and after at the top of your entry. That should do it.
from omfggwtf :
hahah, yes html can be quite the bitch! looks good though! sorry about the random note, i stumble on a lot of diaries when i get bored.. which is a lot! ha x
from englishsucks :
i know suicide is not the answer but sometimes it feels like it gets so overwhelming that you just can't handle it anymore. i have my moments, im glad your friend showed up on time. it sucks sometimes that you're stuck with so many problems and you don't know what to do with 'em. thank you for the note<3
from daath :
I'm glad someone liked that.
from yourtipsucks :
fuckin' cheapskate
from shor-t :
Is that BP as in Boston Pizza???
from xnamehere :
well i hope you don't completely get rid of your internet connections because i like reading you, but i suppose that's a bit selfish. still... so what is this comfort book you speak of (your new trigan empire?) you tend to have good taste.
from shor-t :
Hey I really can't recommend that Anatomy of An Epidemic book enough-it's really shaking everything I ever believed about meds and mental health.
from bibles :
I'm sorry to hear about your predicament! Just wondering though, have you ever considered a sex therapist or getting a check up in that area in regard to the problem? Perhaps there is a medical reason behind it. Hopefully you do find a fulfilling partner eventually though! I'm sure you'll meet someone who will fit the bill!
from stellarrobot :
Oh boy, I so understood that disappointment about your friend. There is really nothing so crushing as people you think are your friends expressing this wholly contrary idea that they want to sleep with you. It's just incredible when that happens. It rocks the whole foundation of friendship. Then I have to remember if I have ever had sexual thoughts about them myself, but have never acted on them or indicated that's something I want. I guess maybe it isn't contrary, it might be a natural extension of feeling positive about someone, that sexual thoughts arise. I totally have the same thoughts about it. I hope you are ok. And stop fritzing! I'm not sure what that is exactly but it sounds amusing and painful all at the same time.
from shor-t :
So what books have you been reading? I am told I will be getting one called "Anatomy of an Epidemic: Magic Bullets, Psychiatric Drugs, and the Astonishing Rise of Mental Illness in America" as a special gift.
from shor-t :
I swear by that book-the title actually is 4 Arguments For The Elimination of Television and one of them is now irrelevant (it talks about the harmful effects of cathode rays lol) but the advertising angle that it talks about totally changed my perspective. I like reading books about the economy which is weird weird weird because I am not a huge consumer but I like knowing how this work. I recently read Eating Animals, Why Your World Is Going To Get A Whole Lot Smaller and Empire of Illusion which I think you would really enjoy.
from shor-t :
I have been using it for the past 5 years without any significant problems. I have no complaints and enjoy it very deeply lol
from shor-t :
Well one thing we can all agree on as far as macs go is no stupid viruses and foolish security garbage that you get with pc
from shor-t :
I think the new Windows commercials are funny-like they have this groundbreaking technology because startup is 2 seconds faster or that their goal is to make things "that work". And ps.com I am an indignant self righteous mac user ;)
from daath :
Windows 7 is better than Vista, but it's relatively unstable with Flash regardless of the browser. It also hates to be hibernated. Those two factors forced me to re-install the thing two times before adequate fixes addressing either problem came by. Even then, it works off of different C++ libraries and .dll files than was typical for older or even newer programs. It's better than Vista, but I'd gladly take back the stability of XP any day.
from xnamehere :
wow, i can see how your eyes would be tired. i'd say rosetta's probably a mixture of both audio and visuals. here's a screencap to give you an idea: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v604/yummigoo/japcap.jpg... man i can't imagine writing that stuff legibly. you may feel like you're in over your head, but i hear that's the best way to learn.
from shor-t :
I knew I was getting old when I started to lament the loss of good grammar in the English language...
from xnamehere :
well even if you are only a beginner, learning japanese is pretty badass. ever thought of using rosetta stone for this undertaking?
from stellarrobot :
I LOVE Chai, but the proper Indian/Hippie kind. It's superb. I haven't been able to find the good stuff for nigh on a decade, and recently I had some at this nifty cafe where the two staff-members, (super-cool older ladies, bra-less, dreadies, tatts, and a pleasant lackadaisical approach to service) served me a pot of it for $4.00. I think I had like 10 cups. Fantastic.
from stellarrobot :
So....I heard you like tea. I have just found My Tea. It is Twinings Black Tea. It has taken a long time to find. What is your tea?
from shor-t :
Glad to hear you had a nice chat with your grandmother-mine was criticizing me for not being a Christian for like an hour or something.
from stellarrobot :
Again, I just want to re-iterate: INCREDIBLY SEXY.
from stellarrobot :
Gah, I totally love femmes who transition (I'm not good with tenses, should that read: former femmes in transit?), or vice versa for that matter, INCREDIBLY SEXY! But I'll try and refrain from making repeated smutty remarks in your direction.
from daath :
Things'll go as they go. Wherever or however you feel comfortable, there you are. As long as you're relatively sane and healthy in that state, that's all that matters. So if that's where you dress and wear clothes that are masculine, go for it. I'll sound old in writing this, but your youth is too short to sell it out to people who covet it, or the ideal of it. I don't know, it seems like you have the capacity to find your own way without the usual inconsequential forays.
from daath :
I hope the transition is smooth like silk and not akin to asphalt.
from stellarrobot :
Also, I didn't teach that shit-head a lesson because I would be in jail right now. (I look hotter in street clothes than jail-breeches.)
from stellarrobot :
You little poppet, I would send you big hugs if I could. Although my hugs are bony and awkward and probably not much comfort. Thank you for cracking me up hardcore with this "- I come on to D-land (and ride her like the beast she is)"
from omfggwtf :
i do like your diary (: xo.
from shor-t :
It's OK, you can admit that you love them. I won't judge you! I remember when I first heard them in 2002 thinking, hey great I hope they only ever have this one song and that I never hear them again. And waddya know 8 years later they are still playing the exact same music and everyone loves them.
from shor-t :

from justsanguine :
Aha! I'm going to try and give it a go tomorrow. Wish me luck!
from justsanguine :
alienamiss...I got half of what you told me in the last note you sent. I did mention I was technically challenged right? Once I save it, how do I view it??? Thank you so much for the tips. They are much appreciated, and eventually I'll get it. :)
from shor-t :
Well, you will be happy to hear that I recently drove through Hannah-proud home of Nickleback!
from xnamehere :
aww thanks! i drew it myself. :D
from justsanguine :
thank you! *for the html tips.. We'll see how I fair after my first attempts to change my layout. Cross your fingers, and pray to the little Buddha of computer language. I'm gonna need all the help I can get.
from daath :
It's 3 hours more than most people.
from sunflowerowl :
Hi! Thank you for the add. I found the owl image online and made it into a banner. By the way, I'm adding you!
from shor-t :
I am still regretting my 667th entry...
from giggleshit :
I read some studies about the brains of trans people and how they really have the brain of the opposite gender, not like OH I LIKE FLOWERS AND BUNNIES but like a dude's brain is chemically trying to have a period and can't, cause, you know, obviously. So I'm just a random person from the internet, but I think you should do it, with really obnoxious cocky confidence, like yeah, I'm a dude but I wear fucking dresses, what the fuck will you do about it? If you act like it's normal, then nobody can disagree with you. Nobody has to know you're scared shitless. Being unhappy with yourself is way unhealthier than anything you'll have to go through. If you don't love yourself, then what the fuck is the point of... anything, really?
from daath :
That seems like a good next step. It is possible with androgen replacement therapy to grow facial hair and develop other male characteristics without necessarily changing physical sex. I've seen some video examples when I TAed a few psychology classes. It's remarkably stunning, actually; you can't tell. It makes sense biologically. The female body and physiology is the default developmental mode in utero. Males are the modified type, so going back to female doesn't appear to work quite as well on average.
from shor-t :
It hurt my feelings to have to go past my 666th entry today :( I guess there are worse things in the world to feel sad about lol
from daath :
Gender is an interesting construct that is more at odds with biological sex than most people care to think about. I hope you get some good advice about whether or not gender reassignment would be what works best. Clearly, though, it seems like you want a change of some kind. I suppose it's just a matter of degree.
from shor-t :
It might be funner if it were Micheal Anthony Hall as a gay serial killer.
from stellarrobot :
Great, you're probably creating a file and stalking me already. COOL!
from opposure :
Agreed about intelligent Internet life. And by seeking it, I don't even presume to represent it.
from daath :
I was perpetually beset by forces I didn't understand. They sure as hell seemed to get me, though. Dreams, waking reality, it was as if they knew just what to push to make me feel fear. Somehow that got replaced by waves of professional or personal crises. Again and again, y'know? I got so used to it that I seek it out. I don't know what your situation is, but there are mazes within mazes and you're left wondering: "do I get out after this? I mean--really?"
from daath :
Yeah I can indentify with that. Some stuff eventually seems to stand static or stable, but even most of that just shifts underneath your feet. It sucks at first, but the lack of stability becomes stability. For me, at least.
from stellarrobot :
Oh, crappity, don't tell me you're a Scientologist!
from daath :
Hah. Your summary just about sums up my current perspective on life. The archives 3-4 years ago are generally more entertaining, I think, but who knows.
from stellarrobot :
Woooooo! I was absolutely SHITTING it, I thought DL was dead forever. That would have been sad indeed.
from shor-t :
Well if you can't make it work in real life, I guess dreams are the next best thing!
