Water that's over or under 3 degrees of his old temperature will kill them almost instantly. They don't handle temperature change too well. Next time set the water out before you change it for a day, then all of the natural chlorine from the water will evaporate and the water will be at perfect room temperature. Also, depending on what kind of fish he is, he might need a tiny bit of canning salt added to the water to make sure it's sterile. Thank you daddy for owning a fish shop once. And the new layout's a lot better.

Oh man I can totally relate to your last entry, the one with the whole "absent father". My father at this moment in time is M.I.A. I don't know where he is and I haven't for a good month, nor have I seen him for an entire year. It was like that when I was little too, I didn't see him from the time I was one until I was 8. Then we tried the whole "i'll see you once a week" thing, but since last year, he hasn't been doing that all well. I usually blame myself, saying that he hates me becuase i'm not the one that calls him and I don't put forth the effort. Other times I blame it on him because he's the father and should be the responsible one. But it's just a cycle of pain and anguish so I just try not to think about him. It still hurts, but I guess you got to move on one day. Stupid fathers...

Hehehe silverware and a futon. I think the first things I bought were silverware, dishes,candles (because you know candles can make anywhere feel home like) and towels. You can never have too many towels because they dissapear like socks do. You never know where they go, they're just gone!

The last year of HS was tough enough (that "a" word, for instance). hey, thanks for the note. You may be behind but basically all that has happened is we moved to a smaller town, closer to where i work. Its where we grew up and went to high school together. We live next door from his brother and family and across town from his mom and dad. So far, so good. Well, except for all of our appliances going wacko. Oh, and yes my template isnt working. i dont host my own images, diva designs does and right now shes out of whack. I'm thinking of giving up and just purchasing a gold membership.

I don't know if it brings you any comfort, but I have great faith in prayer, and great faith in the prayer of children especially, so I have asked my 6 year old daughter to make sure she remembers your family in her prayers. I explained to her the situation so that she understood what is going on (she is a very mature little girl with much love and compassion for others). I know, men can be big babies. And, I understand your situation with the annoying friend. I've always been a giving person, and anytime someone asked something of me, I'd do it, until I realized I was doing more for other people than they were for me. I didnt feel appreciated. Folding someone elses laundry? I would have definetly done it back in the day, now, I'd probably go chasing after them yelling "are you kidding me?!" Just make sure to not let people stomp on you. But, dont close them off completely, everyone makes mistakes.

First of all congrats about your job. (Experience has told me to start with a good thing.) Maybe you shouldn't go to prom. If Joe can't go, then you will be stuck to spend your time watching your friends with whatever dates they managed to scrounge up and you will no have an ounce of fun even if you do manage to find a dress that fits you. It's not that much of a high school right of passage. People don't become completely pathetic if they don't go... okay so my parents may be a bit weird but I would pin that on their upbringing not on their lack to go to their senior prom. So all in all, cheer up. You only have about 5 months left and then you won't have to deal with high school anymore.

That entry reminded me of an entry i did recently. The world would be a much simpler place if everyone left their nose in their own buisness, but it doesnt always work that way. I think one of the toughest parts of life is standing up for yourself, knowing that others will only condemn you for it. As far as sex goes~ everyone has different opions on who you should do it with & when. I always reminded myself that no matter how much I wanted to do something, I'd know when the time was right for me & I did. Listen to your heart as well as your mind, and if every fiber in you tells you this is right for you, then screw what the rest of the world thinks. Most of the time what other people would percieve as bad choices for themselves may be different for another person. It makes us individuals. I think that you need to throw out the "almost" part of your diary & just stick to grown. The people who are tormenting you w/their opinions are the ones that need the almost. Stick to your insticts, think things over, and do what makes you the happiest. Im here if needed~ Oh, and sorry I had to practically write a novel to get my point across :)
