Yes, I can help. What color was her car? Where were you driving? Is it a road you can avoid one day a month? Perhaps you could ADD something to the car... perhaps a 'co-pilot' on that day. I highly recommend a Penguin. A stuffed one will do just fine. They are excellent navigators.
I'd like to be around when you explain for the first time why you have a stuffed penguin buckled in the passenger seat.
