Good to come to be in touch with your feelings. You question divorce rates but shouldnt you take a deep look at why if this concerns you? Why??????? What is love? What is a love affair? What is marriage? It took me a long time to come to truly get it and I hope ou do.

I have no faith or support of the Supreme Court nor do I even acknowledge what they do as just or as beificial to anyone. It's all bullshit, so let Emperor Bush appoint whomever he wants to his court of criminals. I do not respect them, their decisons, nor will I ever obey anything that court produces.

I, though friggin' abstinent for the past two years would highly call for be safe than 'sorry'. Sperm killer... birth-control pills and a female condom. I have wondered how do other men fit those little mens condowms on anyway? Yikes! Good luck but luck has nothing to do with it...

Rudy wound not stand a chance in New Orleans as our politics are too rough for him as are our problems. Nagin whom I have met is a fine man and excellent public servant. Throughout this entire NIGHTMARE New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and Jefferson Parish president Aaron Boroussard have done a wonderful job. I can't say the same for everyone else....

"drifting ditz"? "weak-willed ditz"? Btw... what's wrong being the prettiest girl in law school? Don't be so hard on yourself!
from hamiltonian :
Do not let whatever your current psychology is control your complete outlook on your life and then judge yourself. You can change and do whatever you want and that starts off from within. Have a self-esteem problem then work on it! Do not let some problems fuck you up as you are special, you are intelligent and I wish you the best. More than anything though I hope you don't let any shit or grades get to you. Your working hard, just stay focused no matter what happens and you will meet with success!! F judging and comparing yourself to anyone.. they are them and you are you.
from hamiltonian :
As ALWAYS another wonderful thought-provoking intelligently written entry.
from hamiltonian :
good luck and best wishes on getting that internship
from hamiltonian :
Me yet again... haha... Well just staying in touch. I like the font your using in your journal now, nice selection.
from hamiltonian :
ok ...cynical in that I am skeptical of the motives of others but not in negative sense
from hamiltonian :
I think its is great and I applaud all that went out and voted. Though I do think these elections are bullshit to an extent, just as the ones in Afganistan were and US elections are in some areas. I would not call my viewpoint cynical or negative but realistic. I am all for good clean elections, but the way the US carries about such is highly illegal, unethical and genuinely fraudulent. I applaud the voters but do not care for the way in which the US has gone about instituting such. Just proclaiming elections doesnt mean anything, the devil is in the details and they are being overlooked.

I dont even think about getting gifts or anything, just a waste of time to me. I dont ask or want anything from anybody.

I say kudos to you for helping your sister stock up on alcohol. Bonus points for steering her towards more sensible alcohol. Like you said, if you didn't get it for her she would have found another way... Take care... ~Mark
from hamiltonian :
I feel like a friggin stalker in this journal .. where the hell is everyone else!? Anyway I hope you have a wonderful year.
from hamiltonian :
Wow I am taking over this notes thing... Glad things worked out for you with help coming to the rescue.
from hamiltonian :
It can happen but if the USA and especially Israel help the with the election of a leader. That can't happen without that specific support. It must be realised of Sharon's dependence on Palestinian violence for political gains to control the Israeli people with propoganda just as Arafat did likewise with Palestinians. There are good and just people that can be elected but they must be supported for this to happen. If not the USA and Israel are too blame. The ball is in our court now.

Marriage is such a serious thing... I hope he understands the difference between a love affair and that. Love affairs come and go, marriages are forever (real ones). I hope you like my link to you...

I hope you get to update soon..
from hamiltonian :
As always your journal is thought provoking!
from hamiltonian :
I know about thurmond and byrd and its atrocious, though Michelle Malkin is disgusting and as bad as either of their pasts with the lies she spreads daily. Michelle Malkin is almost as bad as Ann Coulter and Michael Savage. Another venom spewing hypocrital pathological liar. She is on to something with Byrd although all her writing is politically motivated to make cattle out of people. She wont be doing a column on Thurmond now or ever, just as she wont be doing one on human rights violations anywhere in America.

You have th best diary on dland
from hamiltonian :
I love your diary.
from cdghost :
hey,i came across your words and enjoyed reading them.
from xxshewolfxx :
I'm so sorry to hear about your grades. Have you tried asking the teacher whats up with it? Maybe it was a mistake or maybe it was something like lateness or absent? Good luck, good to hear youre not suicidal. Stuff will work out, and the most important part of school is that you learn not a stupid grade straight A's wont help you in a job if you don't remember the info and if you do remember it then D's wont matter either.

Princess Di's been gone a long time, and she's still on the news all the time. I bet the Reagan frenzy dies down soon. (Thank God I moved to England so I get to miss it all! Nobody here cares that he's dead.)

Good to know you are ok but be careful, those products sold on tv are sold be evil corporations sometimes. Don't be surprised if you start finding charges on your card you didn't authorize.
from xxshewolfxx :
oh yeah, and by the way, your diary is so pretty.
from xxshewolfxx :
packing clutter can be annoying. Maybe you'll get lucky and uncover some "lost" money. That's always a good thing. There is this tape that is really great for hanging posters, argh I can't remember what it is called now but its thick and double stick, kinda foamyish. It's supposed to hold up to two pounds I believe. The stuff is great your posters will never fall again. You can get it at any staples I believe. To remove posters with this tape get a razor blade and slice the tape in half...your poster will have some of the tape stuck on the other side but the poster itself will be unharmed. Good luck packing!
from protogarland :
Well, at least you'll have a little bit of privacy. :)
from insanegerbil :
if the person is a regular reader, they'll respect the fact that-though they are constantly being nosy-it's still a diary. You know what they say about reading someone elses dairy:you're bound to find out something you didn't want to know.if your that worried, make sure you back up your opinion solidly.
from protogarland :
yes.. what to do, what to do? *wink*
from protogarland :
I'm back and I've missed you. :) I should be able to talk to you for a bit tonight before I have to take my friend back to the airport. Hope the rest of your exams went well. *kiss*

It doesn't appear that you are clueless. Quirky people tend to have more substance than so called "normal" people. You seem to have a lot more going for you than you acknowledge. :)

I'm profoundly impressed with the thoughtful tone to your journal. I used to review these things for http://accordingly.diaryland.com, and in that time I rarely came across one that was worth the effort. Yours is. Keep it up!

Don't think of it as wanting to test <i>you</i> - do you really think he thought, "We should try living together so I can make sure I really love her"? Of course not. Think of it as wanting a chance for the <i>two</i> of you to see if marriage would be a good idea for the both of you for where you are right now in your lives (not necessarily in your relationship).
from somberdesign :
hi! I don't know if you still wanted help, but if you wanted to e-mail me ([email protected]) your username and password (that is, if you trust me. I've dont this before and you can always change your password afterwards) then I can set one up for you that you want, along with any other links you might want included on your diary. :) I love to help!

from iluvmusic9 :
I hate to say this, but I've heard that sometimes clicking those "unsubscribe" buttons can actually cause you to get more junk mail. Good luck with that though. If it works, that'd be great :)
from zwei :
Took your "lifeordeath" survey... very thought-provoking. It was great.
from ladybugge :
I *know* you aren't crazy. And men do that. My husband, John, decided to blow off my birthday celebration for the same reason - too much trouble to make the trip. That was 22 years ago. He's *never* understood about birthdays. I really think it's a men thing. And when he decided (22 years ago) to make the trip after all, I had the sobs in my throat, feeling guilty (from the fear of 'being manipulative). You certainly are entitled to enjoy your birthday celebration without feeling guilty. As you said, it only happens once. I hope it's a terrific time! L

Amber, thanks for taking my "Boobygirl" survey. You have some nice qualities that I look for in a Internet girlfriend. I fear this Dave might get in the way:) I'm sure your Mom is attractive. Love, Booby
from dramoth :
Thanks for taking my astrology survey! I think Scorpio sounds good for your sun sign, but there are 9 other 'planets' out there, all which could be in other signs. Check out <a href="http://www.astrology.com/allaboutyou.html">Astrology.com/all about you</a> and see what else you can be besides just the 'sun' sign. The Moon and Rising sign are equally important. =) I'm a debater. That's a warning if you find my religion or abortion surveys.
from ashen-eve :
thanks for taking my USA-CAN survey. yes, i have seen the movie Canadian Bacon. it's classic. i love it. i know you guys are only lovingly chiding us.
from crepeguru :
Thanks for taking my random quotations survey. I loved your answers, both the ones where you understood the context and the ones where you didn't. Your diary's great, too. Congratulations on your high LSAT scores! I used to work for Kaplan and I know those are kick-ass scores.
from darrylzer0 :
Yes, you heard me right, warmongering racists. Say what you will about Yasser Arafat, but he actually gives a fuck about bringing a lasting peace. Israel did once as well, but has been taken over by the same type of fundamentalists who run this country. And, you're right, Israel doesn't target buses full of schoolchildren-they just torment them by broadcasting pornography on all the Palestinian television stations, or running them out of their homes because of some perceived divine right, or taunting them by leaving dead Palestinian bodies lying around and disallowing their burial, or just outright shooting them in the fucking street. It's a messy, hostile situation in which both sides have blood-stained hands. http://palestine.diaryland.com
from jaezebel :
Hi, again, Amber - I just read your entry on the Israel/Palestine conflict. Your opinions on the situation are similar to those of my mother's, and I will say that I can understand why both of you would feel the way you do. I completely respect your opinion...I just can't agree with it. Whatever the case, I've enjoyed reading your diary. :)
from jaezebel :
I believe the Israeli government (let me state right now that my anger is directed at their government, not at the Israeli people) needs to completely vacate the West Bank and Gaza. I think they need to support the creation of a Palestinian state. I think they (along with the U.S.) should stop insisting that the people elect someone other than Arafat. What do you believe should be done?
from ughisme :
thanks for taking my survey!!!!
from cairli :
Woohoo! I thought I recognised your diary. You filled out my other weird survey. :) Your Q: What's one of the best jokes you've ever heard? // My A: Unfortunately - I have the *worst* memory in the world and I really don't remember any jokes. Sorry about that! Thanks for filling out my "oddalphabet"! :)
from moondust13 :
umm ello ello i just wanted to pop in and say thank you for fillin out me lil survey thingie and what not. likes you words and will be back. take care, Sweet Dreams when sleep finds you....StarDust
from cairli :
Oooh! Thanks so much for filling out my survey! Great way of describing "me", too. LOL I don't know the song (they aren't a group I listen to), but good logic. :) Also...have you ever *played* the "Wheel of Time" video game??? Very cool stuff if you can find it. 3D action/story thingy.
from apexsensatin :
I'm definitely the type to read every quiz filled out for me. Thanks for your answers too. You answered them all well and thoroughly. Most don't!
from nipple-biter :
Ooh yeah. Forgot to mention, its not the Red Cross' fault that you can't donate blood. Its the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA). Read about it at www.redcross.org. - NB
from nipple-biter :
Wow I'm writing to you a lot... but hey come on now, don't diss on the Red Cross. Trust me they're under a helluva lot of pressure, especially with what happened in San Diego and yes, a bit of Sept. 11. I've volunteered there since I was around 5 years old. Its a good organization. - NB
from nipple-biter :
Hey what's up? I liked what you said in today's entry about God and predestination and stuff. Personally I don't believe in God but you provided a very interesting point. - NB
from nipple-biter :
Hehe its okay I giggle a lot. Well hmm if you have any questions I can help cuz I shave down there. *shrug* Just thought I'd offer my services cuz when I first started it was quite... interesting. - NB
from nipple-biter :
In your entries, are you talking about your... hmmm nether regions? Just out of curiosity. - NB
from nipple-biter :
Thanks for the commpliment! =0) I feel cool now that people are reading my diary. I'm glad you enjoyed it. - Nipple-biter

=) Thanks for adding the code. As someone who's been surviving without a gold since August, thought I'd give ya some tips. If you want to know how often people visit your site, and where they come from, sitemeter rocks. They'll show you how many people visit, how they got there (Under 'referals') , etc, etc. You can find it under www.sitemeter.com. Also, if you want to join more rings, and you're afraid of messing up your layout, might I suggest making a rings page? Just stick all those codes into an entry, and title it "Rings" (put that in the html box as well), and then, if you decide to get a different layout from a design site, you can have it still set up just as nice, and it won't mess up your main page. Just a little friendly advice. Good luck with your diary.
from gbg :
Thanks for joining the Buffy/Angel diaryring! Waiting patiently for the code to go up now...
