If one's self is so easily shaped by others, why must one find oneself through introvertive searching? Is the answer not better found in one's treatment of and interaction with others, as others are what makes the self? Basically, I think that junk about "finding myself" is just that: junk. You are nothing without anyone else, because you are defined by your upbringing, influenced by your friends, taught by your teachers, and follow in the footsteps of your heroes. How, then, are you supposed to find yourself when there's nothing to you but others? Shouldn't you describe yourself along the lines of the way you treat those who create you?

I know. I just wanted to vent about Michael Moore. I heard the book was good but the movie was so-so. But I've never seen it, so I could be wrong. The author of the book doesn't like Michael Moore for stealing the title without asking. And he made fun of George Bush's faults, maybe he should look in the mirror. He commited plagerism (coughcough). Liberals.

Farenheit 451? Like the movie based on the book? Or Farenheit 9/11, like the Michael Moore baised and less-than-scandalous take on the world of Dubyah? I heard F 9/11 wasn't that revealing and surprising, and I think a lot of it is discredited because it wasn't approached from a neutral perspective. Which is the case with most things nowadays. If only there were a movie from the other point-of-view, so we could see the stupidity of other angles. Oh well... grass is always greener, isn't it?

The war wasn't for nothing! I bet all of the soldiers that died believed in helping their country. I don't care what the war was about, but I have seen what Saddam's empire was doing to Kerds (Kurds? sp?), a mass genocide, and as long as we're stopping that from happening, we're doing something right. Saddam wasn't good. He needed stopped. Do you need to see the oppression? Do you not understand that not only were women not allowed to show any skin whatsoever, but they were needlessly raped and killed? Why do you still not see it my way? I don't think this war is pointless. And tax cuts are good.
