Wow- I can sympathize with all of the work you're putting into the tile for the salon! We're currently re-tiling our backroom. (We had to re-do the drywall, paint, etc.) However, we're just putting tile over the old tile, but Dave's been cleaning the old tile and evening it up with some stuff etc. We hope to get the new stuff down this weekend!

OMG your kids got home earlier than Kendall did after the early dimissal!! Some moron had the brilliant idea to put the kids that live in town on different busses than normal! Did they tell parents? No. I had to wait down at the bus stop until 2:30 when the bus finally came. An hour(!!) after dismissal and you know how close we live to the school. If I could have got my hands on someone yesterday afternoon, I'd have choked them! I don't know who...although the school secretary comes to mind after the conversation I had with her at 2:00 wanting to know where my 5 y.o. daughter was...Witch! I'd like to slap her skanky 1980's makeup right off her face LMAO!

Hey there, sounds like your a busy bee! The holidays are so hectic. As for donating to the less fortunate for the holidays, you might want to try a local church, keep an eye around town- I know a lot of stores here are taking donations. Or, you could always just donate to United Way or the Salvation Army etc. You could even look up a food pantry that gives out food on the holiday, and see about donating. Anyway, hope that helps.

I know what you mean about "church". Some are very materialistic, as in, fixing up the church and this and that. I understand when I donate that some money goes to those things, as some goes to the preist, that's fine. But I also know my church collects food for the poor and does other things for the community. How much? Maybe not all that much, but, I guess if at least a little it's better than nothing! Which reminds me, I haven't been in a while and need to go! :0

the trick is to clean EVERY DAY and not designate certain days for cleaning. if you keep it clean all or most of the time, the cleaning in between doesn't take as long. however, you have to be willing to sacrifice sleep. if you like to sleep and feel well-rested, well, then never mind the spotless house. ha! PDOT? Is that the Penn. Dept. Of Transportation by any chance? Since I work for IDOT here, I am curious....hey, have you thought about getting yourself a free guestbook from the guy who runs Diaryland? update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
