from reno-dakota :
miss yoooo.
from paperfriend :
congrats on being pregnant. i am excited to see a child that looks half like me, since you and i are twins.
from reno-dakota :
During the summer, definitely. I currently have either school or work every day of the week, so can't do anything (curses!), but over the summer, I'll just be taking internet courses, so my schedule will be a lot more flexible (I work Fri, Sat, Sun). Yippee!! LOVE!
from reno-dakota :
i love/miss you terribly!
from reno-dakota :
hey, love, it's hil. this is my new diary, just fyi. xoxo.
from cannet :
i cant tell you how i long for that
from rawbeanage :
<3 That was a sweet entry. I'll send you an email later today about the boy. xoxo.
from rawbeanage :
I'm so into cooking now too! You'd be so proud. I can't follow a recipe to save my life, but I've gotten great with making stuff up as I go. I cook once or twice a day, usually Thai, Indian, or tofu scrambles. I'm starting to love it, rather than seeing it as an obligatory chore necessary to sustain life. Miss you and happy Thanksgiving! xx
from jpop :
when and with who did you get married? where do you live now?
from rawbeanage :
You are getting married tomorrow! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from cannet :
are you marrying him? i am really happy for you doll
from cannet :
yes im getting married in december! so you can tell me what its like. i dont graduate until april, so i will be in provo fall and winter. we should be friends.
from cannet :
are you marrying him? i am really happy for you doll
from rawbeanage :
I love you.
from rawbeanage :
fun, fun, fun! I totally want to hang out Saturday, but I made plans a while ago with Shannon for the evening...could I get the morning?? When are you coming/leaving? I LOVE YOU!
from automatos :
crazy,crazy,crazy
from paperfriend :
i think that is great!
from cannet :
court, i am so happy that your diary is unlocked. i didnt feel like it was my place to ask for your password, but i am so happy to be in again. i love what you have written in the respite. it is beautifully personal and so are you
from cannet :
i will miss you!
from cannet :
is your diary locked now?
from rawbeanage :
it's not good (jr and the modern lovers)!! but it sounds nice on paper, doesn't it?
from jpop :
i dont have any im sorry
from jpop :
courtney, for some reason i did not remember you having any of these things in your hands!
from cannet :
i knew you would love them! they are in my heart for now & always & i miss them being here. when i left i told them they would have another courtney coming, and she was cooler than me, so they should count their blessings!
from paperfriend :
remember how i thought it was so weird how you referred to your dad as just dad, instead of 'my dad' as if he was also my dad.
from paperfriend :
who is the crush? why do you hate it?
from jpop :
i think i know who you are hating on so much. i still have it, would you ever want to watch it. it could be my and you and chris, me with the twins. in one of your myspace pics you looks so much like chris it seriously freaks my butt out. i like silent film yes but have never really gotten into it. i have not seen that many silent films actually.
from jpop :
do you really hate bright eyes and dashboard that you would make them explode? i love dashboard and bright eyes are hit and miss for me. and who are you hating on so much rught now?
from elledyal :
you are too sweet. that really makes my day! i live on 300 east & 31 south. my phone number is 836-5044. does that help? let's start hanging out this semester..if you would like..because i would like.
from cannet :
i think you will like this: "after the last dynasty" by stanley kunitz reading in li po how the peach blossom follows the water i keep thinking of you because you were so much like chairman mao, naturally with the sex transposed and the figure slighter. loving you was a kind of chinese guerilla war. thanks to your lightfoot genius no eigth route army kept its lines more fluid, traveled with less baggage, so nibbled the advantage. even with your small bad heart you made a dance of departures. in the cold spring rain when last you failed me i had nothing left to spend but a red crayon language on the character of the enemy. to break appointments, to fight us not with his strength but with his weakness, to kill us not with his health but with his sickness. pet, spitfire, blue-eyed pony, here is a new note i want to pin on your door, though i am ten years late and you are nowhere tell me, are you still mistress of the valley? what trophies drift downriver; why do you keep me waiting?
from paperfriend :
i think they are okay, i would do one with you if you ever wanted.
from paperfriend :
my parents do about two puzzles each week.
from elledyal :
the notebook did the same thing to me! it was the "old love" that got me, not the kissing in the rain or the line, "this has just begun!"...or whatever that awful line was.
from paperfriend :
but he is unwilling, and you admit it yourself, "but has left the responsibility to us." he leaves it to us because he is unwilling to do it for us, because he knows the results of not doing it for us are superior those of doing it. you explain why he is unwilling, and why it makes sense, but having a good reason why, doesn't mean he is not unwiling, it just makes being unwilling not bad.
from rawbeanage :
well, have fun in provo!
from rawbeanage :
you're leaving tomorrow?!?!
from kindbegger :
i took three years of german in high school and didn't learn a lick of the language except for "gleich um die ecke". i am going to take german this semester, so you can help me sometimes! i think i will need all the help i can get!
from rawbeanage :
JENNA BUCK GOT MARRIED?!?! and here i am feeling so old turning 20 today. man o man.
from sexychica260 :
hey there, awesome diary! check out mine sometime. peace easy
from rawbeanage :
ok, i'll settle for just the kid then. and buy a nice dark chocolate bar with the leftovers.
from rawbeanage :
might i put in a request for a grand piano and a small romanian child?
from rawbeanage :
hey-i forgot to comment a while ago. you mentioned that you like to shower every day, but wear the same clothes. i like to shower every few days, but change my clothes every day. and that is why we're friends.
from elledyal :
yes, i have a feeling we will be great friends upon your return. when is this return?
from rawbeanage :
i ate green curry tofu for lunch today!!
from paperfriend :
i am glad you write in diaryland again!~
from rawbeanage :
don't stop laughing like that!! i love that about you! it cracks me up and makes me replay the funny moment in my head over and over. i do the same thing...usually i spend about five minutes after with this ridiculous grin and red face, because i'm trying so hard to hold it in! let's bring honesty to the world and stop trying to supress our enlightened senses of humor and joy! and plus it makes the person who told the story feel really creative and witty! good all around! what are we trying to hide?!
from rawbeanage :
court, where'd you do that trait snapshot thing?
from elledyal :
I was in Prague two summers ago. I stayed at a hostel up on the hill that was only $8 a night. I ate chocolate crepes every evening in the square. It was all so heavenly. I am sinfully jealous. (p.s. I just spilled milk all over my keyboard as I was writing this note.)
from rawbeanage :
court- i'm moving to prague jan. 20. i've only done a day trip there, and i was only 8 or 9. i need to know everything. and a piece of chocolate would be nice, too. :)
from rawbeanage :
hey, court, why don't you update anymore? i really miss your long, wise entries of yesteryear!
from rawbeanage :
'who are these fools?' - francis, the town and the city. yeah, i like him, too! where are your updates, miss? thai class is kicking my butt, and i just finished my day with the worst rainy-day, stuck indoors hilary dinner ever. hint: my broth was made with a peach tea bag!
from gumluverxoxo :
Hi, I'm gumluverxoxo and I'm new
from missy-17 :
hey, how are you doing, if you wanna know who i am then just ask!!!
from rawbeanage :
happy birthday!!
from missy-17 :
hey, whats up, anything going on that you like, at the moment??? in other words, anything new??? ;)
from basal :
i found you randomly with diaryland
from basal :
hi
from rawbeanage :
congrats! is it beautiful?! bring it when we hang out, and i'll show you mine!
from suffa-kate :
hey i think i may start writing again...don't know for sure. maybe not..not ever. smooches.
from rawbeanage :
yes, all. well, i just skimmed the long book quotes, but everything original i read. :) for ice cream: i want mint chocolate chip. i work wed, thurs, fri...so monday or tuesday after school or anytime saturday. whenever you want, kid; my ear's all yours.
from rawbeanage :
i just sat here and re-read all your entries. do you wanna go get ice cream?
from s-m-r :
It's just the idea that people receive their undergrad degree--a Bachelor's--from one school, then they can basically coast right into the Master's programme at their current college because of familiarity. I recall that I heard or read somewhere that receiving both your Bachelor's and Master's from the same school is not as well regarded if you received them from two different schools. Again, I may have just fabricated the notion for some reason, but felt it would be worth passing along. I recommend looking into it before jumping into a graduate program. ...In other news, send an e-mail to perpetual_grump at yahoo dot com for a password. I'll send it over to you.
from s-m-r :
I think I recall reading somewhere that it's not the best plan to have your undergrad and graduate degree both from the same school. Then again, it may be different for language studies (not to mention I may just be imagining said notion concerning degrees from the same school), and it sounds like you have a leg up in German anyhow, at that school especially. Best of luck on your decision...!
from orgami :

from rawbeanage :
rock the peacoat! thanks for joining the club!
from rawbeanage :
will do...you wanna do something this weekend?
from kindbegger :
hi courtney. i was just wondering why i'm not on your buddy list. that's okay. i guess orem meg's not everyone's cup of tea! but i like you.
from rawbeanage :
on her own, that girl was able to, in writing, validate all of the insults you sincerely and validly made against her! amazing! vacuous children abound...when will they go extinct? lovelove.
from kudda :
i didn't mean to put you on my buddy list and that wasn't meqant to be an insult but since you want to be like that you can take this and stick it up your ass.
from rawbeanage :
je suis en colre avec elle aussi!! j'ai lu ce qu'elle a ecrit...a m'ennerve!
from lovaliss :
thank you for even reading my diaryland!
from rawbeanage :
what 16 year old cheerleader??
from rawbeanage :
ok, so now i feel really dumb. i think my being tired had a lot to do with my confusion...too much philosophy combined with too little energy and brain-power.
from rawbeanage :
what'd you think of the movie?
from elledyal :
this may sound like i'm stalking you, but i'm not. in fact, i've never looked at your profile until today (thanksto enormous amounts of time at work to play on the internet). anyhow, i'm "orem elle", i've met you before (i think). i'm writing you because i saw that you read "a thomas jefferson education". are you associated with george wythe or the demilles? i just wonder because that is where my sister graduated from, where she currently tutors, i've been to conferences there, etc. etc. i really hope you are because i would love to talk to you about...stuff...i don't know, i just love talking to people who understand that kind of thinking. i'm elledyal on here (obviously), elle/n on myspace, [email protected], my blood type is o negative, and i'm coming back to utah in a month. anyhow, if this makes any sense please respond at some point in time.
from rawbeanage :
i'm so so sorry to have offended, belittled, or embarrassed you. i just felt like i was going to explode. i love you, court.
from rawbeanage :
hey court- the new hair is kind of a modified hare krishna meets sideways mohawk with ponytails. it's kind of hard to describe, but you'll see it this afternoon. have a great day! hil
from rawbeanage :
court, read "daughters of danaus" by mona caird. it's from the same time as "jude the obscure" and refutes emerson's argument about man being capable of anything he sets his mind to, only it's in the context of feminism.
from automatos :
Who are you people?
from jpop :
quartz, i have dr. caligari. it is a long story on why i have it and i don't feel like explainging it right now. have fun all summer!
from krisicat :
Do you like BYU? I used to go there.
from kindbegger :
i know what you mean about professors. and then i saw a large group of them at an a party drunk like crazy, yet they were still so charming and fascinating.
from s-m-r :
Wow...you lucked out. Congratulations!
from hot-hot-hair :
Thanks for your note! Yeah, you changed mine too, I really hadn't thought about it that way until you actually made me think about it. Funny how God works, isn't it?
from kindbegger :
that must have been another meg! there's another meg? oh great!
from hot-hot-hair :
Have you ever created something you thought was the most beautiful thing you'd ever seen, no matter what anyone else said? It was worth so much to you because you made it with your own two hands, your sweat and blood and tears? I think that's WHY God loves his children; because how could someone NOT love something they've poured so much of themselves into? :: You don't know me, I just read that last entry of yours and thought it was very nice so I just wanted to throw my two cents in... because you made me think, and appreciate that!::
from s-m-r :
Hahaha! And I thought I was the only moron around here...
from fameless :
Socrates would give you a wedgy, boy.
from vagabondess :
to decide on worth, you must first decide on if souls exist. if they do, what are they? and do they change?
from paperfriend :
we are both writing diaryland entries at the same time.
from s-m-r :
Whew...I knew it was a Monday, but I never thought I could sound so dense...! You take it easy.
from s-m-r :
I admit labeling you a woman was an assumption. For some reason (and I'm completely serious) I thought you were..are you? I'm confused...
from fameless :
apparently, your face.
from paperfriend :
well, it seems very functional, you can pick up all the peanut butter or jelly you need on one side, then spread it with the other. and since it is curved, there is never an edge that may stick into the bread.
from paperfriend :
i also use a spoon for peanut butter. and for jelly.
from thatplace :
What is sparkling pink catawba? It sounds like something you, me, and Virgil might sit around drinking.
from adelie :
i went to cambodia last spring and i have not shaved for at least over two years.
from adelie :
i want to talk to you more about cambodia and not shaving!
from virtu :
hey, I think I have white face paint. It's from the ghost-that-never-was this halloween. The makeup people said it's totally opaque. You can have it if you want. I'll probably go to the ok ikumi show this weekend and you can meet me up there to get it or you can stop by my house 360-3403. Or email me your address and I'll drop it off [email protected]
from virtu :
thanks so much for the note. If/when you start the Black Trillium, can I come? Oh yeah, and thank you thank you for the toothpaste recommendation. I haven't tasted the tube yet, but next time i'm at a place that sells it...bye bye sweet tooth.
from thatplace :
I didn't know you drank wine and played the guitar. I see.
