from spring-da1sy :
OMG! I'm so out of the loop! It's going to take me forever to catch up, but I will! Meanwhile, don't make me come kick your butt-you're beautiful and lovable and an angel of a person! Hugs
from newlywedblis :
Hey--I didn't save the new diary link and when I went back to get it you'd locked up. I'd love to still read if you don't mind sharing the info. You can reach me at [email protected] (I'll give you my info if you want it, too). Hope all is well!
from anita-girl :
Hey! I don't know if you would like to share this info of this diary with me. But if you would please email me at [email protected] Are you writing somewhere else too?
from spring-da1sy :
Sorry it took so long to reply to your question about my email. I closed the account I had on my profile here, and am currently having email issues. I'll put the addy on here when I get things straightened out. Thanks for caring, and I hope all is well with you.
from spring-da1sy :
Now that you mention it, I DO remember the agony you endured. I also remember hearing that cervical cancer is the easiest to give the heave ho. I just worry about Al and Rachel-you know there's nothing I can do to convince them. Thanks for the encouraging words-you really did make me feel better. You're a wonderful friend!
from skinnylizzie :
Aww, thank you :). Did you lock up?!
from strawberrri :
thanks for your note, it made me giggle! but, i don't think i'd risk damaging my steno by hitting him on the head with it, especially when there's a perfectly good gavel in the courtroom, hehe! :)
from x-centricity :
Love you!
from skinnylizzie :
Hell yes! Northern men are extremely sexy, god love them all! Glad things went okay with K at the hospital, I freak out if a doctor even gets a stethoscope out near me so she's clearly a million times braver than I ever could be :)
from x-centricity :
You just can't trust people anymore. If the bartender or my husband doesn't hand me the drink, I won't drink it. *huggles*
from student-bum :
Oh god, you got spiked?! Whoever did that is a scumbag and needs shooting several times in both feet before drinking five of his own deadly cocktails. I'm glad you're ok now.
from strawberrri :
oh my goodness, how awful! i'm so glad you had your friend to take care of you xx
from strawberrri :
i nearly didn't leave that bit in but i meant it in the best humour :) i always liked him in beadle's about and YBF. i had no idea he also raised 100 million pounds for charity. what a man.
from strawberrri :
passwoid please :) x
from x-centricity :
I've missed you so much, Doll. It's good to read something that let's me know what's going on in your life. I was really beginning to worry. *hugs*
from randomrabbit :
Well, accusations of toilet-based onanism aren't exactly something to shout about! I blame the bump to my head for even mentioning it!
from randomrabbit :
I wasn't incidentally. I've never masturbated in a pub toilet I'm proud to say. It's just my zip had sort of flipped downwards and I couldn't get a grip to pull it up and was fumbling about for a while.
from randomrabbit :
What? I can't be a hypocrite now? And I think the world can live without hearing how I was accused of masturbating in a pub toilet.
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you for your congratulations! I hope you've had a similarly good start to the year :)
from strawberrri :
hehe, you talk a lot of sense :)
from x-centricity :
I hope your day with Jason went well and Happy Birthday K!!!!!
from student-bum :
Happy birthday to K for next week! Aw, she's growing up :) Hope you had fun with Jason and that the mysterious complicated things are sorting themselves out x
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you for your note my lovely. Why does Christmas have a habit of appearing when you least want it to?! I want to enjoy mince pies and over-eating/drinking/sleeping! And on a totally different note, hurrah for being able to see Jason tomorrow!
from student-bum :
Your notes page finally loads! Sorry I haven't left you one in a while but I'm still reading. I can sympathise with K over the 'women's problems'...! I'm absolutely buggered this week because I was stupid and decided to skip three periods. Now my body is making up for it in spades. I feel sorry for the bf; he has had to put up with me being all tired and miserable and angry for about a week now!
from x-centricity :
I'm so glad you got to spend time with your sweetums. 5 more weeks!!!
from skinnylizzie :
Haha, I did NOT know that! Not much chance of me getting a sex addiction now anyway! Oh, and your last entry was very sweet, I'm glad things are going well with him and K's getting better too
from strawberrri :
aww i'm glad you're so happy ^_^
from randomrabbit :
:-) Thank you! They're all the ones I would have made if I wasn't so daft and had found you sooner!
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you for your note the other day :). I don't think he's the type to cheat but then again I'm not really sure what I believe about him anymore, so meh. Doesn't matter if he has met somebody else now anyway. But thank you again.
from randomrabbit :
:) That did make me smile, but then of course we do share a brain! Admittedly you got the smarter, good at scrabble half and I got the, erm... What did I get?
from randomrabbit :
I was hoping you'd know what I meant, because I'm not sure I do now! Or maybe I just can't articulate it! There was a *sigh* but only in a good way! It's only taken me 6 months to grow some balls and read, but I get there in the end!
from x-centricity :
big big BIG *hugs* for K. I hate to hear when she's sick.
from randomrabbit :
Yes!! But not in a childish way! More in a, erm... Well you know! x
from strawberrri :
sorry i left my message before reading your entry. poor K! :( lots of fluids i guess are the order of the day. and poor you with such a short amount of time with jason *hugs*
from strawberrri :
aw ok :) are you guys local then? x
from tallships :
ok... that really hit a mark. I think you just discovered the answer. Not just for you, for all of us. All hail the great Ava. Prophet of our times.
from sunstargirl :
glad you liked it!
from iam-perfect :
girl. Oh my. You've just hit the spot. Love love love it. I hear you loud and clear!
from student-bum :
Oh dear. Your entry actually applies to me... as in, right now. Is that bad?
from x-centricity :
Great entry. *huggles*
from student-bum :
You have the job! Hehe. I shall have to meet you both one day. If you're ever up in Glasvegas, give us a shout... though I realise that that isn't exactly likely, oh well! Help The Aged, hehe. You're not THAT old... you're not old at all!
from student-bum :
I'm more than happy to have you as my internet parents! Hehe. Yes, the partying may be a factor... but last year I was practically a recluse and I still had the same problems, albeit not on this scale. I think it's bad diet like my dad said. And vodka too.
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you for your lovely note the other day! And also, aww, I'm glad you're happy about his visit :)
from x-centricity :
Yay!!!!!
from randomrabbit :
You saucy bugger! Glad you liked it though! Not too brief or anything!?
from strawberrri :
oh it's fun and games everyday in the crown courts! today i also had a defendant whose last appearance had to be swiftly adjourned as it turned out he'd eaten a razor blade just before being brought up from the cells. nutters...everywhere!
from randomrabbit :
Well! Funny you should ask that actually! I've done a couple of, erm, interesting things, yes! One especially stands out, but I'm not sure I should say ;)! I'd hate to make you blush!
from amb1valent-k :
good weekend, pet!
from randomrabbit :
Is Northern freak a bit of a tautology!?
from randomrabbit :
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, gorgeous! Even though you probably couldn't understand half of what we were saying with our ropey accents! And we, well, me, were slightly (entirely) responsible for you missing your train and you being unwell! The time just went though! That was the company. Well, not Chris ;)! But you and K were both wonderful and I had the most delightful 24 hours! Love you xx
from x-centricity :
*grin* Sassy girl!!!
from krugerpak007 :
Just been catching up after so ,ong. Missed you..Need to try get back to DL regularly. I have missed it. Going to your private diary now.. xx
from barank :
happy birthday.
from spring-da1sy :
Whoo-hoo-hoo! Somebody's going to have a hell of a weekend! Happy Birthday, Sweetie! Enjoy!
from student-bum :
Happy birthday for Sunday! :)
from x-centricity :
Have fun and happy birthday!
from x-centricity :
*grin* Sassy girl!!!
from spring-da1sy :
Girl, when you're hot, you're hot!
from tallships :
I knew youd say something like that. read it again.. she DOES go for walks.. every day. Its just that she gets plenty of exercise out the back too, without any help from me or the kids. She'll happily chase squirrels for ages. Its not a small yard... she gets up a good head of steam. Trust me.. if I didnt get to take her for walks every day I'd get no time alone... and I like my me time. My point is.. she likes the walks, as do I, but she doesnt actually need them from a purely aerobic, physical exercise point of view. She's the fittest dog you ever saw. But if she cant go out the back, I'll have to take her out more often on the lead. Right now shes a pain in the but when I take her out as there are so many rabbits around at the moment. She wants to chase them all. We dont have rabbits in the yard, due to the squirrels. sorry Im being all American with the word yard arent I? It's a garden.. a very big one. Well it would be big in england anyway.
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you for your lovely note :). Yeah, I must admit my legs shot up off the floor a few times, the poor boy sitting next to me must've thought I was a nutter! I also wasn't very keen on the, er, nipple attack...crossed arms were necessary then! x
from randomrabbit :
Oh stop it, silly! You know I quite like it anyway! :) Love you xx
from randomrabbit :
Not sticking by my guns just being slow and stupid and not thinking. Sorry gorgeous x
from student-bum :
They did, and because everyone there were die-hard Leauge fans and the League themselves were sitting at the back there was much cheering at that point... I wasn't party to said cheering, I hasten to add. Partly because I forgot it was in there!
from bitterwineuk :
Oh that's ok then, may bring that design over instead. Just wondered as they were from the same site and I wondered if it was that all templates were like it or just the one I REALLY REALLY LIKED. lol. Hope you've had a good weekend.x
from bitterwineuk :
doh, This is the first design I have LOVED in Blinkin ages. Why would it be this one that is laptop unfriendly??? you getting my locked diary one alright?
from randomrabbit :
And by spuds I mean my bollocks. Just so we're clear ;)
from randomrabbit :
Well I do have magnificent spuds so I guess it was to be expected! And you know you're welcome to come and sample whenever you like! I find they're best appreciated slighly warm, served on a plate with a little melted butter over the top and maybe a sprig of mint!
from strawberrri :
hehe, rachel's friend wanted us to go to planet hollywood before seeing we will rock you on thurs. luckily because rach wanted pasta i suggested bella italia be more suitable! i remember my ex saying what he always told those toilet attendant folk - 'sorry mate, i haven't got any change. i'll sort you out next time.' obviously this means you can only go to the toilet once, or don a fake moustache and try the trick again. oh and thanks for your pound shop note, i think the best thing i ever got from poundland was 30 glowsticks for a pound. i got 2 packets and would have got more had they not sold out due to being so popular!
from x-centricity :
My bad? Oh my.....LOL!
from randomrabbit :
You get used to them in the toilets though, to the extent now that I find it impossible to pee without a strange man standing in my personal space. I sometimes have to ask someone in there with me to stand right behind me and breathe down my neck to simulate the effect.
from skinnylizzie :
Haha, I'm often tempted to do exactly what K did! Makes me feel all nervous when they just stare at you as you walk in, how's a girl supposed to pee under that kind of scrutiny?! x
from student-bum :
I'm intrigued as to how one can get a fly up one's nose...! Sounds like he had a fun morning :P
from student-bum :
Haha, actually it IS just coincidence! I basically copied my buddylist over and you two were one after the other on my old diary too. It's basically the order in which I found people - I think I found you through Tim, in fact. Or Zoe. One of the two. ARGH there's a small insect in my keyboard. Just thought I'd throw that in. Bugger... I hope it comes out soon.
from student-bum :
Aaw! Tell him thanks again! :) It's nice knowing he has such an opinion of me, it really is :)
from student-bum :
Aaw, thanks to you both! It was lovely of Tim to ask after me despite being away, tell him that if you speak to him soon :) I'm just relieved I've got nothing to worry about now. It's been a stressful week!
from x-centricity :
It was so nice to see your name highlighted in red. I've missed you so much. *hugs*
from student-bum :
I didn't even know who she was! I wish her CD had been in instead of the Notorious BIG. Ugh. But so, so funny. I was in stitches; Dad just looked vaguely perplexed and despairing.
from student-bum :
Haha, James Brown?! Genius. The Glasgow admissions guy is called James Brown. Made me chuckle a lot when I got a letter from him... So our country is being run by the godfather of soul? Brilliant.
from princesse69 :
Is it really warm where you are? You're not that far from us are you? It's feels like it's October today. All grey, cloudy and kinda chilly. My hands are freezing. I don't like it when it's too hot but I'd prefer it warmer to this. Hope your weather comes here and our clouds go to you! Hope you have a lovely weekend. x
from princesse69 :
Thanks for the cat deterrent tips. I ate a few satsumas this afternoon so I put the peel out in the border. Hopefully that'll put a stop to it. I want to rant about not winning the lottery too!
from randomrabbit :
Was that an offer? I do hope so! And I don't smell like cow shit any more - just garlic and Shreddies breath. It's an improvement.
from anibananie :
Oh yes, and thank you :) I hope I do do well!
from anibananie :
For a second I thought you meant the Shakespeare play...! You were in love with him?! Oh deary me. That's worse than my (secret) girly crush on Darius Danesh...
from rockingchair :
I can update and edit... but no one can see the results. not even me. Its my own special (though unwanted) secret diary!
from princesse69 :
Poor Jason for getting injured by his own pistol. I hope you're not worrying too much about him. It's weird how you gave yourself a hand injury the same day. How you described it made me wince!
from anibananie :
It took me an age to work out what you were talking about. No, that was the property name. It's a League joke but I don't use that word in my general life. The word is used by an obviously offensive character and the point of it is to illustrate how hideous that particular person is, not making fun of anyone or being derogatory at all - much like many jokes in The Office. Sorry about that though :( I can see why you were disappointed.
from anibananie :
And ah, seeing as notes are finally working I can say what I wanted to earlier! Glad Jason's ok, but that sounded nasty. Found it funny telling you not to worry... as if he expected you not to. Tsk, men.
from anibananie :
I'm going to go to a car boot and sell a load of crap I have in my room. The ebay thing is a good idea - I was going to sell my entire collection of original Sims games (right through from original to last expansion pack, oo-er) but Jess has the first two and hasn't given them back. Sigh.
from x-centricity :
Not worry? He might as well asked you not to breathe. *hugs*
from iam-perfect :
SHUT UP. That is so nast. What a fucking freak show. I would have thrown a bible at him or something and told him that the baby jesus cries when he masturbates in public libraries. Sicko.
from spring-da1sy :
Repeat after me..."I will never watch a movie like that again". What were you thinking!!! I'm sure Jason is fine, and he did tell you it would be a while. Hugs
from x-centricity :
In the middle of the Library????? Wow...
from iam-perfect :
harry potter rocks.
from x-centricity :
I too noticed the tumbleweed...I thought it was just some odd decoration. *grin*
from randomrabbit :
I have a sneaking suspicion all the cool kids have gone on the annual Diaryland jaunt to magaluf and the old farts weren't invited. All the un-cool kids are reading Harry Potter!
from the-big-day :
Thank you!! You are so sweet!
from anibananie :
Aaaw thank you! Perhaps I shall take you up on that offer one day xxx
from skinnylizzie :
Ooh I didn't know that! Alas, it's not (possibly the only time I will say that about my period), which just means that I am just an excellent feasting ground for mozzies, what an admirable quality!
from vanoonoo :
September 22nd 11.30am, for my sins!!!!!! email me wherever whenever, I'll get it :D
from princesse69 :
Wow! I'm sure Jason will love his birthday present. I wish I had the knack at present buying. I never know what I get people. I didn't know what Jason did until reading this entry. His 'babysitting' job sounds like it has a lot of perks. I hope Chloe gets better soon and whatever is causing the runny poos is something minor. Maybe she has just eaten something dodgy. Does she catch and eat birds?
from randomrabbit :
And where was Bono? Sat on his island giggling as he melted icebergs with a big magnifying glass, shitting out cash & having his genitals oiled by androgynous looking Filipino boys, no doubt. If I'm going to get preached to by self-righteous knob-ends, then Bono is definitely my sanctimonious twat of choice. Targeting venom at others just gets confusing and dilutes my hatred of him, which makes me all sad. Good morning gorgeous!
from randomrabbit :
Ssssh, or everyone will want a pic! Okay, maybe not. Not sure you even wanted it, but hey, that's what you get when you give your phone number out to strange men off the internet - pictures of their goolies sent to you at inopportune times. I think the answer to global warming, clearly, is to build a very large fridge and power it on the smugness of all the twats who were in the crowd. There'd probably be enough power left over too to run a big knitting machine to make everyone in the world a pair of woolen shoes. What?
from anibananie :
I agree entirely on the concert thing. People don't seem to realise we are still IN the Fourth Ice Age, technically, and thus there will be change as we're coming out of said Ice Age! I do wish people would grow up about it all. Yes, recycle, tis all good, but for chrissake don't make yourself out to be God's right-hand minion when you're doing it. Apparently that concert left minus carbon footprints (ok, I am exaggerating - they made it as environmentally-friendly as possible) but I don't really believe that. They could have left less damage by NOT HOLDING IT AT ALL. Sheesh. I get worked up over it as well! :P
from x-centricity :
I'm totally with you on the concert thing. Amen!
from randomrabbit :
Okay, ignoring the fact that you called me a fool twice in as many sentences, and one of those consisted solely of the word "fool", which hurts, frankly. I'm not suggesting anything so daft as giving smokers any rights, but don't I, as a non-smoker, have as much right to inhale smoke in a pub as a non-smoker has to not inahle it? Yet it's the silly indulgent wishes of these that have been so pathetically pandered to! Okay, so I just accidentally left this to myself in my own notes page, so maybe you were justified with the fool thing! x
from thecrankyone :
as an asthmatic I couldn't agree more if I tried, right now every place here that isn't an over 21 place is non smoking and in some towns even the bars (pubs) are non smoking. Its so nice to sit anywhere I want and eat with out the choke and stink. I've never understood the lure of smoking. Smoke free forever!!
from skinnylizzie :
Ooh, I'm loving the smoking ban too! No more coming home from pubs and bars stinking of smoke, and having to wash your hair after every time you go out! I went out on Saturday night, the last night they could smoke in bars and clubs, and I've never seen so many people in my life furiously chain-smoking. Just makes me even more glad I'm not a smoker!
from randomrabbit :
I'm all in favour of a smoking ban in places of work. Well, places I work. Just not in places I drink! Pubs are all becoming dull homogeneous podules of shite and choking on fag smoke and stinging eyes and cigarette burns are all as much part of the drinking experience as being glassed in the head or being sexually propositioned by that elderly gay irish man in the toilets, and I wouldn't want to change any of them. Bar staff could have been given respirators, then everyone would have been happy!
from x-centricity :
Move to New Zealand?! What an idea....just keep your head on straight. LOL Luv you!
from spring-da1sy :
Fun times with Jason-just what the doctor ordered! I'm jealous. Move to New Zealand? Wow. That's something to think about.
from randomrabbit :
Yes, that's exactly what I'm advocating! And specifically 4am grunty sex should be outlawed. No, actually my weekend sucked. I drank far too much on Saturday and ended up doing housework with Chris and a shit of a hangover on Sunday! But thanks for asking!
from strawberrri :
thank you! i am looking forward to seeing my ely guy tomorrow :) as for the kiwi, well! i spent pretty much all of friday night with some salt of the earth random types in various glastonbury drinking holes, then when i left them to go back to my tent i got talking to the kiwi, who was lost, so i invited him back to mine for some wine and a place to sleep! didn't kiss him or owt but i did make use of his body warmth as it was bloody freezing!
from anibananie :
Yeah, I watched the killing. Lovely, wasn't it...! It wasn't too bad really. I was expecting blood squirting everywhere. Gok Wan was funny though, I was hysterical through most of that!
from anibananie :
I thought it might have been that comment, hehe. Aaw, I'm super-happy for the both of you, it's all so lovely :D Bar the complicated bits. But still, yay :)
from anibananie :
Hehe, gladly! Ah, you knew I knew, did you? (This is getting like that bit in Friends... "Aah. So they don't know that we know that they don't know we know...!") May I ask how? I am intrigued!
from anibananie :
(sings) I know who TJ iiiiiis :D Worked it out about 2 entries into your dilemma, hehe. Evidently I am a super-sleuth of the highest order. I actually had my suspicions way before that as well... But on a serious note, I do hope things work out well for you, TJ and Jason. I can't even begin to imagine what a sucky situation it must be :(
from strawberrri :
thanks! with all the excitement of ely guy and the impending festival i think i need to lie down in a darkened room to calm down!
from portia12 :
I'm glad you saw her blog too! I'm glad we got to read it and appreciate what amazing people are in the world!
from randomrabbit :
Your chuff makes me very happy!
from vanoonoo :
*hug*
from anibananie :
Aah I see, I see. Yeah, before the pill I'm 10 days on, 20 days off, or something like that. Blergh to the highest order! If Neighbours is still sad then I shall have to refrain from watching it. Also it distracts me from revision, sigh! It's good we still have stuff to smile about (may I make a guess as to one of yours being TJ? :D) The car's still Alex for now! Though no one calls it Alex, sadly, it's just "my car" or "Annie's car". Boooo! I need a name for my new Bonsai tree... I will have to ponder on it a while, I think! Hope you're having a good evening x
from anibananie :
Aaw what shitty timing! My pill's three weeks on, one week off. I have to start it in a few weeks' time. I think if I went any longer without it I'd be sectioned pretty quick, hehe.
from anibananie :
I couldn't watch the aftermath of Stingray's death because that's when I was afflicted with the Hormones of Doom. I tried watching it twice and burst into big blubbery tears each time, the shame. K is very, very sweet in those photos! That posing thing is something I have as well... ooh there are some bad'uns.
from spring-da1sy :
That beautiful daughter of yours is growing up before my eyes! She's lovely!!
from mpeacock :
Great-beautiful pictures of K, and yes, only time can unravel the knot. Don't let yourself get too upset, have fun with it.
from randomrabbit :
You're definately not the haddock, you're something much more yummy!
from skinnylizzie :
Oh no, I'm such a rubbish reader at the moment, I left no such comforting note or words of wisdom (ahem) for you, for which I am very sorry. But on a slightly lighter note, I'm glad your mum's doing okay :)
from bluecharis :
Hi dear! Thanks for your notes. I didn't find the first one too flippant, I was just wondering about myself - wondering where I stand and what will happen next for me. It's just so easy to fall back into patterns I felt I had left far, far behind. Right now, I feel a bit like the loneliest person on the planet. Sure, I do have urges and needs, but I don't know whether I'll act them out, know what I mean? Anyway, thanks for caring, right now, that means a lot to me! All the best, Charis :-)) *hug*
from strawberrri :
thanks...i just really don't think damian was the right person for me so relief is still overpowering any feelings of sadness! my knee is very, very blue but not too sore anymore. THANK GOD x
from mpeacock :
I am sooo sorry we couldn't come out. My in-law family is VERY controlling of what we were going to do. Next time I come over I will need to visit BEFORE I go see them. Not that they're bad but they wanted EVERY bit of our time! Plus my ex was too grumpy to take us. Other than that our trip was fun. Your life sounds very exciting now ;). Take care.
from anibananie :
Oh yes, and I meant to mention before I somewhat spazzily clicked "done!" - you and TJ, very sweet ;) I hope things turn out well, you deserve it (both of you) x
from anibananie :
YAY I'm not alone! My god, he is a sexy beast. Ahem. Anyway, thanks for your note :D The photos were so funny to take, I had to delete several through laughing in the middle of them. And it took forever to get the eyeliner off :P
from x-centricity :
I think you know what I think you should do about this situation. I think both of these boys are good for you in one way or another but one of them may be a little more important to you then the other. Decide who that is and give that one person ALL of you. *hugs*
from mpeacock :
Ava, we aren't going to make it out today (the family has other plans for us) but as I will be living over here soon, we will make sure we can come see you guys and you're always welcome in Belgium too. I have a lot to write about but I am at an internet cafe and it costs a lot! It'll have to wait until I am back in the states. Take care sweetie!
from randomrabbit :
Well, I have and entry floating round in my head but my brain seems to have gone a little queer. As you well know!
from barank :
i love u. i just do.
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you so very, very much! I shall send you lots of happy thoughts if it works! (if I'm not too giddy from relief that is, hehe!)
from x-centricity :
Sending love to your mom. *hugs*
from strawberrri :
thank you! i know friday is a very significant day for you as well, so i hope it goes as smooth as it can x
from anibananie :
Thanks for your note! :D The clarinet was weird to play again! It was nice, in a way, but frustrating because it was harder to blow in than I remembered and I had forgotten how to do some of the notes! But I played an old solo I knew really really well and it wasn't so bad, once I'd gotten into it again. Might try it again when people are out the house! ;) Enjoy your weekend!
from bitterwineuk :
thanks for your comment. I'm ok, he really doesn't bother me anymore. I've had enough of all the self pity and worthlessness he bought my life :) But now I'm onto a new bloke and a good one by the look of things. I'm getting spoilt and lavished with attention and nothin my ex could possibly do would bring me down this week :)
from anibananie :
Oh and I forgot, the goslings were SO CUTE!
from anibananie :
Heh, I was just testing something! Entry's up proper now. Hope your mum's ok. The bitch sounds like a bitch, surprisingly enough! Ha, you know I never realised it's a bank holiday weekend until you said! Damn study leave messin' with my head.
from rockingchair :
You're looking great hon, don't believe anything else. As for romance... just be careful eh? First bloom and all that. Not that you are ever one for just dipping a toe in the water, It's one of the things that makes you special. Love from your jealous ex! ;-)
from x-centricity :
I was happy about you finding love with Jason but I was always bothered by how unaccepting of your lifestyle he was (pets and such). I was also bothered by his reactions to K. Not that he was ever awful, but everything you are made him a little freakish. If you could find happiness with someone who was in love with EVERY part of you, that's the man that you should be with. But that's just me wanting my very good friend to be happy. *hugs*
from skinnylizzie :
Haha, I'm glad I didn't offend you, sometimes I forget that I'm disgustingly crude with my language! And I didn't get the job (big sigh of relief), but thank you for your note anyway :)
from x-centricity :
*grin*
from spring-da1sy :
I'm glad you let us in on who TJ is. He must be something!
from bitterwineuk :
your comments never let me in :( but never mind, I did think the other day *who is TJ?* but good luck all the same. If he makes you happy then it's no bad thing at all. And don't complain that you feel fat. You look great in your clips! xBeccax
from anibananie :
I LOVED the video, I love your voice, I think you're gorgeous and you're not fat in the slightest! I know you probably don't want to be told that but tough, tis the truth. And my grandfather died about 8 years ago now and my mum still gets upset about it, so you don't have to 'get over anything' at all. And I doubt anyone's thinking get a grip - it's only natural you'd miss him. Big hugs *hug*
from strawberrri :
you are a beautiful and SLIM lady!
from mommy4ever :
I love your sense of humor. Don't be so selfconscience of yourself. You are just fine! And I'd LOVE to be as thin as you are :P Phoohy on you anyway!
from x-centricity :
Hon, six years is nothing, as far as time goes. Six years is like a yesterday when it comes to missing a loved one. You have every right to miss your father 20 YEARS after the fact. *hugs*
from skinnylizzie :
Finally finally FINALLY, I am back in the warm bosom of my home and have had a chance to sit down and read a few of your entries! I have three very important points to note: 1) you don't sound posh to me, but then again I think my voice is similar to yours so I may be biased! (and K is adorable, chuckling away in that video) 2) I MUST have a pink laptop like yours, my life will not be complete without one. Never mind that I was just given a new desktop computer, it's not the same if it's not pink! and 3) I am very enamoured with your 'boyfriend in a box' concept. Ah, if only I could find one too! I'll try and read some more this evening, I can only apologise for my tardiness in getting here :)
from anibananie :
Aaw, I'm blushing now!
from anibananie :
Aaw, love the video! I'll say it again, K is adorable :) More videos, more.
from x-centricity :
*pout* My office doesn't let me see video. As soon as I get access....in a few weeks, I'm totally going to have a Ava movie fest! *grin* love you
from strawberrri :
you have such a lovely-sounding voice, and how sweet is K! :)
from anibananie :
Excellent video, interesting to hear your voice! You sound exactly like I thought you would. K is a sweetie :) I love Eurovision too, spent most of it going TANZEN and doing the dance, and also making Mum do the Scooch dance as well. Mwahaha.
from randomrabbit :
I very much enjoyed Eurovision too! I was going to say that you sound quite posh in your video, but I think it's probably to us Sheffielders everyone south of Birmingham sounds posh.
from randomrabbit :
But now I have your email you may be subjected to random boredom-induced afternoon emails! Mine's [email protected]!!
from randomrabbit :
Not sure Wales and Scotland would vote for England though!
from randomrabbit :
The little chappy from Latvia reminded me of someone but I've had a little too much beer I think to remember who! The lezza won! I like how she has to be restrained by the backing singers half way through the song.
from randomrabbit :
Can't believe that! I wrote for Greece: Now we're getting there - cheesy song, greasy singer with Ricky Martin delusions. Serbia I wrote Lesbian! And for the Ukraine I wrote Sue Pollard - Love! God bless Malta and Ireland!
from randomrabbit :
I don't like it either when they sing in English or whatever language that isn't their own. Sad as I am I actually wrote on my voting notes (shut up!) that Hungary were singing in English! Ukraine were wonderful but I kind of want the lesbian (Serbia) to win! Oh dear, it doesn't look good for Scooch! Europeans have no taste.
from randomrabbit :
I'm on dodgy analogue too. I'm sure they used to translate them all though. Bastards. I voted for Serbia, Ukraine, and Romania! I was tempted by Greece early doors but then it picked up a bit.
from randomrabbit :
It's not just my mum then that phones up and says she's accidenatlly turned teletext on and can't get it off or wondering why she can't turn the telly off with the hi-fi remote!? I have the 3 Eurovision essentials: Beer, nibbles and teletext so you can see what the foreigners are singing about. I just need a Union Jack to wave. I should perhaps go do something manly.
from x-centricity :
I hope the test come back good and I LOVE the laptop!!! I want one just like it...except blue....Do they come in blue? *grin* Have a good night.
from anibananie :
Cool laptop :)
from spring-da1sy :
Thanks, Hon! Ellie did great-her exam went wonderfully, she's healthy as an asthmatic can be. No x-rays, but she was due for her distemper shot. She may not speak to me for a while! Hahaha
from anibananie :
Hehe, you watched it too! Joe and I suggested improvements for the programme while we were watching it... the hanging was mine ;)
from barmymoo :
I don't mind them being held here (I'd quite like to go and see them actually, especially the gymnastics)(they do have gymnastics, don't they?) but I don't think they should evict people from their homes for it. Also it's expensive. How much money do you really need to spend on a field?
from barmymoo :
Heh I googled for Exclamation Mark Overuse Support Groups but unfortunately drew a blank. I got a bit irate over this voting business; my mother has a vote in our local election and she doesn't even live in this borough, but I don't because I'm not old enough. Blagh. Go anarchy. We could all sit around thinking profound thoughts. And steal medicine for our joint pains. And refuse to let them celebrate the Olympics by evicting the Gypsy community from their homes so that they can build another stadium. Yes, that will be useful to society.
from randomrabbit :
Glad the results came back okay my dear.
from spring-da1sy :
Woo-hoo! Congrats on the blood results. Have a great weekend.
from johnguinness :
I was just telling my sister that in the past films, there was maybe forty minutes of stuff with the villains that I never care to watch again. This time, every minute of it was entertaining, and unexpected. Plus, they've been renovating my multiplex, so this was the first film I've seen on a digital screen. It was beautiful. It even made me want to see Rush Hour 3, which was in the previews. I'll see Pirates, but my next big one is Harry Potter, which was also previewed today. Have a great weekend. John
from anibananie :
So glad the results came back ok! :D And I wish I'd been able to vote but I didn't get anything about registering and I assumed my folks had dealt with it. They hadn't got anything so they hadn't. Fucking council! Ah well, I know natch so it's probably best. Loved the photos by the way!
from strawberrri :
hehe rsi and carpal tunnel syndrome are such illnesses du jour! the wrist support i have helped hugely but i actually think i'm on the mend now (which is good as the dr did sweet FA) so hopefully i won't have to give up my career! :) if you google 'rsi yoga' you get loads of results for exercises you can do to strengthen your arms and wrists. i had voter apathy this year sadly.
from johnguinness :
Thank you for the note. I've just got back from the ten A.M. show, and I'm trying to figure out if that's the best movie I've ever seen. I might go back tomorrow. Cheers. John
from randomrabbit :
Great minds indeed - we both share a Bob, have the same idea for an entry and if you tell me you've also been having really mucky, depraved thoughts about Fiona Bruce then it's just getting scary! Whodya vote for? You don't have to tell me of course! Maybe a little clue? Do they like the colour blue?
from randomrabbit :
Basil Brush! Damn it! I knew there must be a famous fox but I couldn't think of one so ended up calling him Bob (beast of back-garden!). He seems to like eggs but isn't so keen on cat food. I missed the Cutting Edge programme but wish I hadn't as it looked interesting. Oh well. Thank you for the birthday wishes! Hope you're having a good Thursday.
from anibananie :
Aah I can just about deal with bad grammar. Incorrect punctuation, however, will make me implode. Over-use of exclamations doesn't bother me too much though, so you're safe! At least K will know the fundementals of grammar, spelling and punctuation. All valuable life skills. And thanks for the note! I think I wouldn't mind so much if it had come about 2 months from now... Alas, timing is everything.
from strawberrri :
oh a pink laptop, eeee! :) as for my wrist, i have bloody RSI caused by doing steno all day long. i have been wearing a wrist support which helps but the pains are still there! it doesn't hurt loads but i am concerned what it's doing to the tendons and whatnot inside my arm.
from princesse69 :
Hi ya. I didn't get your email sorry. I end up deleting most my emails as they're mostly spam so I could've deleted it by mistake. Glad K was okay. You do get fed up with periods rather quickly! Hope hers don't give her much bother in the way of cramps and moods. I did to begin with. Anyway hope you have a lovely evening and weekend. I'm off to give the kids a good bath-they're covered in bolognese sauce. Lovely... xxx
from barmymoo :
Heh which brings rise to the question... who is that? But I think I've heard of him... pianist, yes? I heard the song on the Notting Hill soundtrack. In response to your most recent entry, I'm also at risk of getting some kind of arthitis and it's not fun. I get pains in my hips sometimes and my knuckles always hurt. So I feel your pain, and hope you don't turn into the young woman crying all the time from pain. It's ridiculous that they can put people into outer space but can't stop our joints disintergrating.
from barmymoo :
Whoa your template is brilliant! I don't know why I was surprised that you made it yourself... someone has to make all those great templates. Anyway, yes I did make mine but it's not in the same league. Hehe.
from strawberrri :
oh that sucks :( *hugs* xx
from anibananie :
Aah well, I like to be optimistic about things like that! Never mind, she's lovely nonetheless. And thanks about the photos :) Nine compliments now! I shall be wearing it lots, I think.
from x-centricity :
Medicine has come a long way since your mom was first diagnosed. I'm sure that once you and the doctors know what is going on, they'll get you on a regimine that will keep you active for at least another 50 years! *grin* Love you.
from randomrabbit :
Fingers crossed for you at the docs my dear.
from anibananie :
Aaw, I hope it goes well at the doctors. In my thoughts x
from spring-da1sy :
Honey, my mother had RA. I'm sorry. You're a strong woman.
from mozangeles :
I apologize if I came off harsh...and it's stupid, really, to be upset over something as silly as having a comment deleted...but the entry in general struck a negative chord in me, so it was easy for me to then get upset when I belived my comment to be deleted. I still find it suspicious - I checked to make sure that my haloscan comment went through - I always do - and I didn't write any profanity or anything. I find it very odd that it just "disappeared." Anyway, all I had written was something about it not being a lack of love for your pets if they are not up-to-date with shots. Two of my 3 cats are overdue for their shots, and it's not a lack of love - it's laziness and inability to take off from work to do so. But they are all strictly indoor cats anyway, so I'm not terribly worried. Anyway, I apologize for coming off so harsh...it just rubbed me the wrong way, I guess. xoxo - me
from barmymoo :
Hello someone new! Thanks for the link anyway :p I like your template, very snazzy. Much snazzier than mine. :-)
from x-centricity :
You get a prize for being the first to read my very first entry!!! I don't know what the prize is yet, but you'll be getting it really soon! I changed the font color...but I don't know if it looks alright. What do you think? Any suggestions?
from randomrabbit :
They'd have to pay me at least double to convince me to do some work. It just means I'll be spending 25% more time on the internet buying crap!
from strawberrri :
thanks. i'm a happy bunny :)
from anibananie :
Hehe thanks! And yep Dad DID get his sandwich and got on with his work ;)
from strawberrri :
aw thank you for your lovely words :) i'm a fatalist anyway and whether it goes good or bad i still get an experience out of it (he is really yummy though so i am hoping for the former!) xx
from spring-da1sy :
That's wonderful! I'm glad you had a good time. You're so devoted to K 100% of the time, and you do deserve some alone time with Jason. You have needs too. It's that simple.
from x-plicity :
I'm so glad you had a great time with Jason. *hugs*
from spring-da1sy :
Six months! I bet his voice nearly brought tears of joy to your eyes! Enjoy, savor!
from x-plicity :
My god! That DOES look like a big kiss. It's freakish. How in the world did you get it?
from randomrabbit :
I'm going to add getting served quicker at the bar to my "I wish I had boobs becasue..." list. I'm up to about 16 now.
from amb1valent-k :
Wow! And now the story about the 'nearly' F1 driver? x
from x-plicity :
I got nervous because I'm in the office and I thought you had a picture of a penis on your website. Silly ballerina...
from vanoonoo :
yes of course! may 5th and get your address to me (again) by text or email and I'll stick the invite in the post.
from x-plicity :
Dementia is such a hard thing for a family to deal with. Even the most wonderful people in the world have their moments. Thank you for sharing the story, Luv. *hugs*
from spring-da1sy :
I think we all have a story or two that proves our family's bizarre side! Thanks for sharing that!
from starlight42 :
Wow- that's crazy about your nan trying to stab your mum. Sad though, since obviously she must not have been mentally stable!! Anyway, hope all is well with you, sorry I don't get much time lately to stop by.
from thecrankyone :
Too bad about your Nan. When my Gramma lost her marbles, she wound up with no contact to reality. Eventually she didn't even recognize her own children and was convinced my Grampa was still alive even though he'd been dead for years.
from anibananie :
Haha, brilliant! K is officially a legend. I didn't see it, unfortunately, because I've spent most of this evening waiting with dad for mum to get home, stressing about schoolwork and doing schoolwork. But at least he knows I love him! ;)
from ameliorating :
Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day!! Hope you and K have a wonderful day together! *hugs* Jen
from anibananie :
I doubt it's lupus! Googling symptoms always brings up the stupidest results. And yep, I saw Preston storm off! Absolutely classic episode. Simon Amstell is officially a god.
from portia12 :
LOL. I think the key is I heard him for the first time two days ago, so I haven't gotten sick of him yet, but I can totally see how that is possible. His songs were going through my head all day. Does K like him?
from allegedwife :
Too long between entries Ava! Get your arse into gear girl.
from the-moo :
what a GORGEOUS entry!! I am so so so so glad that you have such an amazing friend and even more glad that she's having a nice happy ending too!! xxx
from the-moo :
I love you and I send love to the fluffies and to K also *huuuuuug* so much to catch up on with you but I'm getting there!! xxx
from mpeacock :
I am heading your way at the end of May, early June!!! Mo and I would love to see you and K!
from spring-da1sy :
What a nice thing to say! Thank you. I think this state of constant euphoria over the wedding has mellowed me a bit! (What WILL I do after?!!!)
from anibananie :
Hehe that has to be one of the greatest things anyone's said about me ever!
from anibananie :
Excellent! Thanks for the info ;) It was a strange day.
from vanoonoo :
~+~+~+~+~+ there - thats my version of positive vibes xxx
from anibananie :
And I just read your entry! Thanks again for the birthday wishes :D I'm glad you have such an amazing friend in your life too. Things have a habit of working out and I'm sure they will xxx
from anibananie :
Thanks for the notes! You are lovely. Casanova is ace, watched the first one and I'm hooked! Hope your kitty is ok xxx
from amb1valent-k :
Thanks. I'm a poor friend to you all at the moment!
from strawberrri :
awww, poor chloe :( i'm thinking positive thoughts for you xx
from spring-da1sy :
I'm hoping your kitty is fine. Please update when you find out.
from crowhihs :
Sending good thoughts across the pond for Chloe. My cat Louis (the blonde one) had the same thing -- turned out to be a fatty pocket. He had cat libosuction (I kid you not) and is fine now. Which boy band / member. Please tell me it is not westlife :-)
from x-plicity :
Sending positive vibes to your kitty. *hugs*
from spring-da1sy :
I can't wait to see those pictures, and I'm glad you've heard from Jason. You sound like you're doing quite well...other than the nose thing, that is!
from x-plicity :
*grin*
from amb1valent-k :
Not pathetic at all. x
from strawberrri :
oh thank you so much for your lovely message. tim was just what i needed (he really is SO GORGEOUS too, which is nice :) xxx
from x-plicity :
I hope you are doing well, sweetie! *hugs*
from spring-da1sy :
Unfortunately the vision is one of those things we lose with age-yak-I know you so didn't want to hear that!! You and K are going to have a great time-what a treat!! Live it up.
from justmouse :
i need new glasses too, after having been glued together about 10 times, they've finally just given up and fallen apart. i know what you mean about unwanted expense! and YAY for a girls' night out for you and K! you'll have so much fun! (besides, boys are yucky and will give you germs.) xox
from anibananie :
Glasses are shexhy though ;) I want glasses! Well, I have reading glasses, but they're part of the cause of my Grannie Annie nickname.
from mozangeles :
Thank you so much for your comment, sweetie. Everytime I hear from you, it makes me so happy! You always manage to cheer me up when I am down. :) And I just might take you up on that offer to come and beat some sense into that gyno. I've never met someone so unprofessional in my entire life, but knowing me, I'll stick with her because I am a lazy sap. I heart you, and I hope that all is well with K! xoxo - me
from mpeacock :
You sooo deserve and are due a grande 2007!!! HAppy New Year to you an K. Loads of love coming your way.
from anibananie :
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds41122.html HE'S NOT QUITTING! *gets out banners and celebrates*
from anibananie :
I know, I read that too! Aah well, that's what Google Images is for... Sorry to hear about Jason :( Glad he's ok though. And I'm glad K enjoyed Christmas etc :)
from the-moo :
you don't have to say sorry (certainly not to me since I have nowhere near as good excuses as yours for not being here EVER) I love you I send my most wonderful birthday wishes for K and I will be praying for your man!! and you!! and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE xxx
from anibananie :
Merry Christmas! And happy birthday to K, not that she knows me :P Jason will be fine, fret not and enjoy Christmas.
from amb1valent-k :
Didn't you feel the 'vote for' bit ws a bit distasteful when it comes to extinction?
from anibananie :
Hope things get better soon. They will, of course, because it's CHRISTMAAAS! xx
from anita-girl :
Hey you! It' sbeen 20 days since you last updated! 20 DAYS! Where r u? Going good I hope!
from strawberrri :
thank you for the mumsy type hugs :) it may interest you to know that snakes don't have one todger but TWO!! unfortunately they have no hands to wank with, hehe! xx
from vanoonoo :
well done for getting thru with chardonay and a hotwater bottle kiddo *hugs*
from amb1valent-k :
Brave indeed - can't believe they didn't give you enough pain control for when the anaesthetic wore off! Firemen - doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. ;-)
from strawberrri :
i think you are a lovely brave lady :) x
from the-moo :
*huuuuuugs* and *hotwaterbottles* and *painlessness* xxx
from ameliorating :
Ouchie, not fun! Hope you are feeling better soon and that there is no infection!! What is it about firemen..ooh *drool* http://web.ripnet.com/~jjacques/fireman.jpg Here's a pic to make you feel better! *hugs* Jen
from spring-da1sy :
I'm glad it's over with. So sorry you had such pain & discomfort. Think of how long you anticipated that, and focus on the fact that it's behind you. Glad you're back!!
from x-plicity :
I hope you're doing well. *hugs*
from realsnoopy :
Thank You sweetie!
from krugerpak007 :
I hope you are feeling better in all ways. Update us ok. A lot of people are worried about you.
from allegedwife :
OK woman, enough silence already. After that last scary entry, silence is definitely NOT golden. Wave a word at us to let us know you're OK. Please
from justmouse :
oh my gosh! he didn't break up with you because of his ex did he?? if he did, it's his loss, and he's a complete loser. also, good luck with your procedure! my friend had that done 2 months ago...everything turned out just fine, but it was scary to think about! *much love* (and i'm sorry i'm so crap at leaving comments!!) xoxoxox
from ameliorating :
*hugs*
from amb1valent-k :
Oh dear, oh dear. So much has happened since I spent time with you! So sorry to read all this that has gone wrong. Look after yourself and K. xx
from strawberrri :
oh god *hugs* hope you will be ok :( xxx
from portia12 :
Thinking of you! Gosh what a crappy day. My best friend was fired on her birthday as well.
from the-moo :
I haven't read the back entries yet but I just had to come and say... YOU SHOULD BOTHER IT IS WORTH IT YOU ARE WORTH IT THE WORLD NEEDS YOU if you need me I'm coming online now and I'll be around for a while before I logg off I'll send you an email with my phone number and it's fine if you don't need to use it but if you want to at all I am here for you 100% though I warn you I don't give good advice I just listen well!! I love you xxxxxxxxxxx
from anibananie :
Aaw, Ava :( I'm sorry about you and Josh. But you did the right things, you were the sensible mature one! I hope it all goes OK on Monday, you'll be in my thoughts xx
from spring-da1sy :
Oh, Honey~I can't imagine! Just concentrate all your thoughts on the procedure Monday. You'll be okay, and that'll go just fine. It's serious, but you're strong. Just focus on positive things and leave that jerk in the past! Email me if you want. [email protected] Hugs
from realsnoopy :
I can totally see how you would have felt that way! GEEZ!
from strawberrri :
hehe, the mysterious phone singer turned out to be a friend of mine called barry, who was partying at a club in oz! yeah he's on my myspace :) x
from strawberrri :
ooh, not wanting to raise your suspicions but i had a boyfriend who did that to me when i was 17 (and he was an immensely immature 22). i saw him, thought he saw me but ignored me, and he confirmed it all by sending me a text asking where i was (i'd been at school and was in town on a study period)! men are strange, but it's early days, don't read too much into it xxxxx
from the-moo :
you're not asking too much!! *hugs* xxx
from realsnoopy :
It's nice to see he's being HONEST and up-front with you! *hugs*
from the-moo :
he sounds JUST right for you *hugs* xxx
from starlight42 :
Oh my goodness....a new man!! How wonderful. :) That's too cute what K said about the kissing.
from anibananie :
Thank you! I do feel like I'm a bit more together now. Thank you for the note :D Very much appreciated
from bitterwineuk :
Seventeen symbolizes soul Twenty-Two denotes mental powers and knowledge. It also indicates that you are goal-oriented and practical. Forty-four refers to a sacred union or divine marriage. hmmmmmmmmmmmm??? hahaha, that make any sense whatsoever??? 44 confuses me though. :)
from thecrankyone :
The dog we had growing up was terrified of loud noises, by the end of the 4th of July he would be a wreck. Usually he would be hiding somewhere, looking like he had been tortured. We had to keep him inside the whole time, other than for potty breaks.
from x-plicity :
I know you have a fear of flying insects, but butterflies??? They're so pretty!
from princesse69 :
Aww, I just caught up with your entries. I'm so sorry that it's over between you and Jason. I hope you're okay honey. I'm glad you have someone new to take your mind off breaking up with him. *HUGS*
from the-moo :
I come baring hugs *hugs* bearing hugs *hugs* I never know how to spell that never mind I have hugs with me and they are for you *hugs* THERE!! xxx
from x-plicity :
*huggles*!!!
from thecrankyone :
Best o luck!! Hope all goes well for you!!!
from ameliorating :
Good luck! Everything works out the way its supposed to..maybe meeting Josh was fate and you wouldn't have been in the right place were it not for Jason! *hugs* Jen
from anibananie :
Good luck, I hope things turn out well for you! x
from rockingchair :
I checked out myspace. He's cute! I almost turned. Does he have a sister?
from the-moo :
*hugs* you know how I feel about this and you know I love you!!! I'm with you all the way lovely one xxx
from strawberrri :
follow your heart young lady! you deserve better than jason and K definitely does xx
from x-plicity :
Meeting "josh" and wanting to pursue something with him is proof that you need to let go of jason. He's not good for your self-esteem and "josh" is so much better for K.
from luna-obscura :
Good luck honey! I know you've tried really hard to work things out with Jason, so don't feel bad, some things just aren't meant to be. K is the most important person in your life, a part of you, and if Jason can't accept her then he isn't fully accepting you. It won't be easy to tell him, but we're here for you. Oh and Josh sounds like a sweetheart! Thinking of you xx
from rockingchair :
Definitely doing the right thing!
from the-moo :
ok I'm just filling in the blanks because I don't think I've ever had the keys to voilet smile so.. yeah :( I hope all is well I love I have faith in you I think you're amazing and I'm here if I can do anything I'm pretty useless at most stuff but I'm good at reading emails so feel free to rant or whine all over the place at me *hugs* xxxxxxxxx
from the-moo :
OH MY GOODNESS WHAT HAVE I MISSED???!?!?!!? ok I have to go catch up but in case I forget to comment afterwards or run out of time I was here and I love you xxx
from realsnoopy :
Good for you! I'm happy for you! I know you will do a good job!
from realsnoopy :
Ok, it's over! I do see you in a different light! Im in shock! There are no words to describe how I feel!!!!!!!!!!!!1
from realsnoopy :
I hear ya! Your right about the selling stuff! What is up with that? Where do people get off with that "gimmy" attitude? I don't mess with people like that. If It's more than I want to pay, I don't buy it!!! MORONS!
from spring-da1sy :
Sorry I missed wishing you a happy birthday, but I'm glad it was so nice. You left out the description of the best part of the day, though ;-)
from realsnoopy :
Happy Birthday you sexy thang!!
from krugerpak007 :
Glad you had a good Birthday! May this year be a good good year filled with happiness and all that you wish for.
from krugerpak007 :
Happy Birthday!
from bitterwineuk :
Ava darlin. You dont have to put up with this behaviour no-one should. I more than anyone know how it is to be emotionally knocked down repeatedly just so he has more control over you. The thing is when men can be like that, the more they say it the more you believe it and you become reliant on them. Don't let this happen. I endured that for almost 4 years before I had the guts to get out of it. In my ishouldcry diary I only wrote about some of it, even then alot of it was still censored. You are worth more than that and I don't want to see you hurt. You can get through this hun. (((Hugs)))
from spring-da1sy :
I'm sorry you have all this turmoil, but you seem to be seeing things more clearly these days. Don't forget to consider what YOU think too. Feel better.
from justmouse :
well...i suck, obviously. i have you on my list, but forgot the password. please? [email protected]
from the-moo :
I love you *hugs* I'll email you if I get a chance after work!! xxx
from bitterwineuk :
Oh darlin, whatever happened? Can I have access to your private diary. I don't know what I would do without mine sometimes. I have so much to write but don't know where to start some days. email me details if you prefer: [email protected] and I may not have been reading you as long as others have but anytime you wanna chat, just email me. Take care and I send all my best thoughts to you. Becca
from fledgling- :
Actually i've been reading your musings/writings for awhile now. It's refreshing :)
from kitchenwitch :
I'm sorry that you are going through a difficult time! I love ya! And wow does K look grown up!!! ~bless~

I'm glad Ess was there for you and that you are feeling empowered and in control! Whatever decision you make will be the right one. You can't go wrong now you've reclaimed your self confidence! K looks beautiful in those photos, by the way, I can't believe how fast she's growing up. (Oh dear, that makes me sound old. But it's true!) Love to both of you xx
from krugerpak007 :
Have a nice time.
from ameliorating :
Hope you have a great time!! I'm still counting down for my vacation..we are officially at 79 days to go, wohoo!! *hugs* Jen
from realsnoopy :
Have a blast hon!!!!!!
from the-moo :
I COMPLETELY didn't even for a minute think about it like that - mostly because I don't actually even have time to watch Tv anymore *sob* haha but what exceleltn points K is so so so lucky to have you and more so... you're lucky to have her and I LOVE how much you know that *hugs* I just think you're fabulous I truly do and I wish all mothers could have so open and trusting a relationship with their children as you do!! xxxxxxxxx
from strawberrri :
you should copy a huge chunk of that entry and email it to the bbc! very valid points there :)x
from anibananie :
Soaps are evil, sometimes. My family tried to adopt years ago and it didn't work, even though we tried so hard and got so close, so when people adopt on soaps and it happens in about 2 months my family gets really, really annoyed because we've experienced it first hand. That's partly why the only soap I watch is Neighbours :D It's like the Mini Milk of soaps!
from bitterwineuk :
hahaha, I wasnt watching that closely. I thought that was alot to spend on a dog per year. Hahahaha, still bloody stupid though, The dog will one day die but she could have got some great diamonds with that money. :)
from krugerpak007 :
Hope you are feeling a bit better after that call. And I hope you still manage to have a fanatstic vacation without thinking about the op later. x
from realsnoopy :
Your right about that! :)
from the-moo :
I shall give you a hug *huuuuuug* and hope that it helps xxx
from justmouse :
that haloscan thing is being stupid today (and not just on your page, either!) sorry you're in that kind of mood (and not just because it frightens me a little), because i am in that mood at least once a week. it sucks, but there seems to be no way out of it. sometimes going to the mall with my son and mocking other people helps. you should try it. I bet K would have a great time pointing out all the people who are not as good as you are. on second thought...after re-reading that, i realize i am a terrible parent and good GOD what have i been teaching my child?!? hope you feel better. *Hugs*
from spring-da1sy :
I've been in that mood. You feel like you're not in the driver's seat, yep, like you should warn people. I always blame PMS. Hope you can ride it out without causing any grievous harm to anyone! Hugs
from strawberrri :
the good thing about bad moods is they're usually only temporary :) i hope my bike gets a nice new home as well *sniff*. i'm glad you liked snakes on a plane too! i chuckled when i read you kept your feet up. i heard in the states they put some snakes in the cinemas while it was showing - now THAT would have freaked me out :D
from starlight42 :
Lucky!! I don't know why we have to do it every year. Esp. when you're younger. But then again, I guess I do know a lot of people who have had abnormalities, like you cells etc. So, maybe every year is good. They also recommend STD testing every year- which is annoying when you've been with the same person! But, I guess they figure you don't know if that person has cheated...
from starlight42 :
That's funny you haven't been in stir-ups before. Every annual exam here in the US, that's where us women are!! I guess you get a little used to it. Good luck with the surgery!
from spring-da1sy :
At least you'll be able to enjoy your holiday, and you'll be better prepared for what to expect after the surgery. I'm wondering why they didn't tell you that BEFORE scheduling the surgery in the first place?
from anibananie :
Oooh I was wincing as I read your entry! Sounds paaainful. Still, I hope you have a good holiday anyways. At least they're letting you put it off till after your holiday, that's something at least!
from littlelove4 :
Thank you for the kind note! As a part of my nurse training, I required to spend time with the mentally and physically disabled. I don't have to do any nursing cares on them. I just have to spend time with them and make sure there is day is better because I was with them. I can take them out to eat, to a movie, sports events and etc.

I sent my password to you at 9:00 this evening. Let me know if you didn't recieve it!

Hope the dr's appt. went well. Some Ebayers just suck! I just recently heard a similar story from someone else. Only this person sent fake money orders- of course OVER the amount and wanted $$ sent back to them- so in this scam they'd get not only the item, but money out of you too!! Damn scamers.
from x-plicity :
*big hugs*!!!!
from x-plicity :
Oh, Sweetie. 4 weeks is a long time to wait. I'm sending lots of good energy your way. I've never had a LEED. At least I don't think I have. Is it the same as the Chrio?
from realsnoopy :
Just checking in to see how your feeling. I hope your well! *hugs*
from luna-obscura :
Hey, how did your biopsy go? I hope everything went well, and that you're not in too much pain. I have my fingers crossed for good results ASAP. At least that part of it is over now. Thanks for the sweet comment about the fuzzies! Yep, I really do feel as though fate brought us to Xena; she's such a perfect match for Pandora. And Chrissie would love it if you jumped through the screen to cuddle her. She loves attention. ;) Hope you feel better soon!! xxx
from princesse69 :
I hope your op went okay Sweetie. I hope they find nothing to worry about. Jason is such a darling looking after you. You have a good bloke there. Thinking of you babe.
from yelayna :
Will be thinking of you today hun. Hope you get on ok, will have everything crossed (legs and all!) I totally agree about not rushing to meet the littl'uns, above everything with Dave and I, I really, really don't want to upset or confuse them. I need to know that I'm going to definitely be about for some time before I even entertain the thought of *actually* meeting them. Part of me is scared, and part of me has heard so much about them I'd like to meet them. I need them to know they come first with their dad and always will, I think his previous lady friend didn't feel that way and that is really quite wrong... anyway, rambling in your notes so *hugs*
from ameliorating :
*hugs* Good Luck! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. If I had the $$, that is a beautiful ring, I hope you find someone who truly deserves it to buy it.

*huuuuuuuuugs* I forgot about the BB final!! hehe I'm babysitting so no doubt I'll miss it but hey. I'll be thinking of you about the hospital and as usual I'm here if you need an ear and a shoulder xxx
from amb1valent-k :
Yes of course I have doubts about Forest Gate. Cast your mind back a year - didn't you remind me of the police story about the Brazilian jumping over the barrier? Turned out to be nonsense? But.. I actually like the way we all think differently about these things and stll get on. xx
from princesse69 :
Photos of a beautiful mother and a beautiful daughter. I love the cat photos-especially the one of Chloe stretched out sleeping. Cats always make themselves look so comfortable don't they?
from the-moo :
beautiful wonderful you I love you xxx
from emaciana :
awww i just looked at your pics. you two are adorable! you are gorgeous, by the way. also, i think that is what we are leaning towards - a low key wedding, maybe just the vows, and then the actual ceremony later on. it's nice to know other anamia moms out there. makes me feel less guilty.
from strawberrri :
thank you very much pretty lady :) ebay scammers are the worst...i HATE them! xxx
from realsnoopy :
Good luck sweetie, I'm thinging of you! *warm hug*
from starlight42 :
Was gonna leave you a comment on an old entry, but wasn't sure if you'd see it so I'm leaving it here! Just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear how your friend is being. I think her text to you was rude! She could have just apologized and explained the reason later. I also know what you mean about how hard it is to put up with someone who you feel is mistreating an animal. We have friends and it just kills me to see the way the guy will pull the dog around or hit him if the dog is naughty.....they don't take care of the cat either and his long hair is so matted down....I keep telling them to give the cat away if it's too much trouble....blah! People. :(
from realsnoopy :
Thanks for sharing cup-cake!
from mpeacock :
I am just now catching up on your entries. I hope all turns out well with your biopsy. I had one about 16 years ago and all is still good. I do have my annual today, yipee can't wait! Take care.
from realsnoopy :
You are so pretty! I mean that!!
from october-moon :
Holly and Jess weren't in the news over here at all. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't have known at all if I didn't keep up with BBC. lol I'm a huge fan of England so I keep up with all the news and what's going on over there :D Thanks for reading my journal! Come back any time *wink*
from realsnoopy :
Your right!!
from rockingchair :
I've always been completely crap at keeping friends. I don't keep in touch with anyone from school. or poly. or my old jobs... jeez Im going be a lonely old man. I'd better work on this friends thing!
from realsnoopy :
I'm sorry. I'm sorry for you, and for K. *hugs*
from krugerpak007 :
Its hard when you and your closest friends drift apart as life goes on. I know how you feel. Its like living in 2 different worlds and it hurts.Just take care. Ok? And your pictures are lovely. And I know you are nervous for the 11th. (is that date right?) I will be thinking of you. x
from anibananie :
Ta for deleting the note! And my parents are actually quite young for parents of a 17 and 19 year old, they're 44 and 46. Glad you think my brother's cute! I think he looks quite sweet too :) I explained why I locked up in the entry, dunno if you've read it yet (tis loooong). Hope you're well xxx
from realsnoopy :
You have the most entertaining pets! LOL
from ameliorating :
Oh my gosh! Your Chloe looks exactly like my Napoleon! Maybe they are long lost brother and sister! I'm so happy that your 3 day vacay with Jason went so well! My big shepard is a big pansy when it comes to storms as well.. he's always hiding underneath something. Guess it proves that the biggest isn't always the bravest :) Hope you have a great weekend! *hugs* Jen
from lerin :
I'm glad that the three days were so wonderful! :) I hate it when you take your sweet time about updating. Don't let it happen again anytime soon! :)
from realsnoopy :
Ok sweetie! It has been 14 days since your last entry! Are you and your daughter doing ok?
from littlelove4 :
Hi! It is has been awhile since you have updated and I just wanted to make sure everything was going ok. Hope to hear from you soon!
from lillymoon :
HEY!!! So sorry I am lagging in the writing dept. But like I said before I only pop in here now and again. So I have been doing catching up on your blogs and so far I have, Sorry about that God Awful procedure you had or have to go through. I would love to see the tatoo. Yeah it is really flipping hot over here too. K is sooooo gorgeuos! more and more every year (you know it has been 2 years since we "met"?!) My son is in love with her! So that is the comment I have so far. I got your note : ) I will look for you on Myspace! I LOVE YOU MORE! oh by the way I was reading your notes and I saw the one about K not being able to breastfeed. Yeah, my son wasn't able to either. I had to pump the milk and give it to him. I did that for 5 mos and couldn't take it anymore. Well Lady take care and I will see you on Myspace! I am better at communicating there than here. TRAITOR, I know I know! LOL
from anibananie :
Thanks for the note :) I get these moods sometimes, the computer just happened to be on during this one! *hugs*
from realsnoopy :
Have a great time with your man and hug that sweet little girl for me! *hugs*
from realsnoopy :
How are things sweetie???
from anita-girl :
Your comment made me so sad! That is too bad that K was not able to breastfeed! I am so sorry! I never knew that! BTW I was so surprised by K's name, it's so pretty!
from squirrelrat :
Thanks for your kind thoughts Hon.
from anibananie :
Hehe, I do apologise, I'm normally the one behind the camera! I'll probably have more of me when I get back from holiday :P
from anibananie :
CENTRE PARCS!!! I went there FOUR times when it was Oasis and before it combined with Centre Parcs. It's faaantabulous. Hope you have a good time :D
from bitterwineuk :
sounds ok. You go as I get ready to come back. I go to Great Yarmouth Sept 11-15. It's only a Sun newspaper hol and less than 100 accomodation/entertainment/fuel/water/bedding etc. Always a good hol too. Just advising you for next year if you want more spending money!!!! :) But I love the look of Centre Parcs, I just assumed it was all inclusive, especially for that price. Gosh. I know someone who looks like Dermot O Leary too but he's about 20. I know I'm being rude but how old are you??? Is 23 a big age gap??? Anyway, I hope he looks after you!!! :) Becca
from princesse69 :
I'd love to go to Center Parcs. We have one not too far from us-Elveden Forest. My cousin has been there about 3-4 times and her kids absolutely love it. Hope you and K have a brilliant time. I'm jealous :)
from anibananie :
Long films SUCK. LOTR was good but, obviously, WAAAAY too long!! And I like the idea of Miss Marple meets POTC... hehe that would amuse me a lot.
from guida :
thanks for the note back, yeah, I'm pretty sick of a lot of media sources. I just gotta remember, most are out there to make money, that's their motivation. yes, I did remember it was the one year aneversary, that's what I meant by "rembering the headlines a year ago."
from bitterwineuk :
Last one for now, I promise. I liked that you sent me "You have amazing taste in music!! I LOVE you for it!!! ". I love you for being so cool too, in fact dammit, if you were a man I would marry you for your taste in music alone then we can create a new "family" as our cd collection "Breeds" and makes mini versions of ourselves. Hahahahaha.
from bitterwineuk :
forgot to say, I deleted the comment too for anyone who participates later on and they cant copy your marvellous mind, :)
from bitterwineuk :
I am so impressed with you. No where near enough English people know the delights of MAtchbox Twenty. :) Well done on your answers. About to go and start crediting but I'm being harsh so only crediting if whole answer is right. ie artist and title but I was going to allow phil collins or the supremes for you cant hurry love, even though my initial though was PC. Hope you had a good weekend!!! Becca.
from mpeacock :
We were talking about this in my dialects class today as we perfected our standard British accents. I wish so many Americans didn'y give America a bad taste in the rest of the world's mouth, but alas I was just born here. Americans, in general, are such ignorant pigs.
from ameliorating :
I agree with guida, I don't think that the media gives an accurate portrait of Americans. I am deeply saddened by any terrorist attak, here or overseas and I think that many Americans are as well. Yes, some of are careless, heartless assholes, but show me a country that doesn't have some of those. I'm sorry for your country's loss, but I hope that in the future you don't judge all American's by what the media says or writes, they generally do not speak for most Americans.
from guida :
I'm sorry , I don't really think american media reflects us very well, and I frequently go to the BBC news website, which seems to reflect us even worse. You're right, the bombs in London really were an attack on the world since their timing came with the announcement of the 2012 olympics. Before I read your entry I had no idea that this was the day that any of those other things happened, but I did have a picture in my head of the "Day of Horror" headlines I saw a year ago.
from princesse69 :
my diary is unlocked now. i only locked it temporarily while I tinkered about with a new design.
from littlelove4 :
Hi! I ran across your diary and have really enjoyed reading. I love the lay-out and your daughter is absolutely beautiful!
from the-moo :
I HATE the heat too I mean I'm bad in average heat so I've been thanking my lucky stars that I live further north AND on the coast so that makes it cooler to start with AND my office is totally blocked from all sunlight by another building so I have been COMPLETELY unaware of the heat and have even been sitting with a jacket over my shoulders some days - it's hot when I get home but in a much more manageable way! I would LOVE to see the tattoo by the way xxx
from anibananie :
You're welcome! And thanks for adding me back, and the comment :) I'm taking English Lit and History as well as Psych, and until about 2 weeks ago I did Media Studies as well, but gave it up as I was going to in September anyway and it saved me doing the coursework :P I love Psychology, it's fascinating. And A2 looks so much better than AS, AS is all the crappy basics.
from lerin :
I am ready for tattoo number 2! But I have no idea what to get and where...

I always panic when I say to someone that I know they love me that they'll say "NO I DON'T WEIRDO" then I'd cry) anyway - I can't BELEIVE That thing with the police WHAT ON EARTH??? it's just... SO SO stupid but yet on the other hand the media are jumping up and down saying they keep shooting people without reason... why didn't they shoot HIM!! haha *hugs* hope you are sleeping and eating well - everything else seems so much better once you master those two things ;-) xxx

Love the pic of K! Beautiful.
from chakra-chick :
Well, I haven't been much of a diaryland buddy either; so we're even I guess! I'm so sorry to hear about K and her troubles with the heat...hope it doesn't happen again! hello, yes i managed to get some babyliss ceramic gas straighteners brand new off ebay for just a tenner! been too flippin' busy to try them out yet though, might save it for the weekend when i suffer from the inevitable world cup-related hangover :)
from mozangeles :
It sounds like it may be time for Jason to get help (if he is not already) for his OCD. Once it starts affecting your daily life in such a way as you are describing, it really is time to do something about it. I do not understand why he has not yet - there are medications now that could make him feel infinitely better! In addition to talk therapy...of course, I know that costs a fortune without insurance and whatnot. I just wish he would start feeling better soon before it interferes with your relationship!!! And by the way, that picture of the mouse head terrified me! LOL xoxo - me
from realsnoopy :
Stop making me laugh, I'm getting a side ache!

Hello honey :o) Thank you for your lovely note the other day, I'm finally catching up with things as I've got some time and some peace! I hope you're ok this weekend, I don't think it's odd to miss your dad still - my mum still misses hers after the same amount of time, and I can't even imagine my life without my parents. I think everyone deals with things in different ways, and each person takes a different amount of time to feel better about things. Something like that you don't ever get over I think, you just learn to manage your responses over time - I mean, I still cry over my great Nan and my granddad, and they've been gone a long time and weren't as close as my parents are... this is getting long and rambley, so I'll just say *hug* and will drop you an email about meeting up if you still fancy it? xxx
from portia12 :

from bitterwineuk :
Been thinking of you. I hope today has gone ok for you. Take care my sweet. Becca ((((HUGS))))
from ameliorating :
My thoughts and prayers are with you. It never gets easier, you just learn to deal with it better (maybe, who knows..). It was especially hard for me these past few years because my dad was estranged from my family, so I think I'm the only one who remembers. Its sad to think that his memory may die with me. Hope you are doing ok. *hugs* Jen
from x-plicity :
Love you.

from anita-girl :
Good luck with tommorow! If it helps remember his love for you! And remembr your love for him!
from thecrankyone :
This December will be the 10th Anniversary of my Dad's death. I still get quite down every December. It doesn't help that he died two days after his birthday. You aren't the only one. Warren was born on Father's Day of all days, so every 7 years or so his birthday falls on it (June 20 here in the US). At least I have something good to look forward to then, to keep my mind off of it. Though I would have preferred he was born in Mother's Day.
from startafresh :
I haven't taken much notice of the eviction thing but Richard is too false and Canadian. Nothing against Canadians, I like Bryan Adams, but R's a wannabe cowboy but more of a cow. Sezer looks like one of my exes and is EXACTLY the same so I don't like him on those childish grounds. I think the Rebecca/Sharon saga is the thing that keeps it watchable. The only Rebecca getting their hands on Mr B, should be ME!!!! hahaha, but I think the topless girl, thingy Marsh- not Jodie is ok but not famous enough. I think Moyles-ey will win. Becca. (bitterwineuk) ps, where in the Uk are u from? I noticed in your profile you put me as "local" I probably asked before but have a mind like a sieve. :)
from bitterwineuk :
Big hugs to a lovely lady!!!!!! Hope all goes well tomorrow as bad as it sounds. All the best hun. Becca.

I am not sure who you are neglecting-not me thats for definite. With all your problems ypu have been an amazing friend while I have been in hospital. I am sorry if I have been neglecting you. I just dont feel so strong these days. But know that I love you and care about you so so much! And I wish you and K would fly to israel already! I am waiting for you. feel good sweetie. You are in my thoughts. xoxox
from krugerpak007 :
:-( No, that entry made me sad. I wish you would see what a wonderful, beautiful, bright, caring friend and person you are. That you are worth so much! How can I possibly make you see that. As you said, take your relationship one day at a time. No sense in worrying and analysing everything. Just enjoy all the beautiful moments you have together, all the fun etc. And what will be will be. Thats what I believe. But if you dwell on everything it will drive you mad! remember no matter what, how special you are to me. So now, after my lecture, go and cuddle the kitties and Fin. That will cheer you up in a seccy! Love you honey. Take care and please, please cheer up! xoxoxox
from mozangeles :
Well, why would you go and do a silly thing like that, m'dear? You are so happy with Jason. Don't sabotage this! xoxo - me
from mozangeles :
Why the gloom and doom and self-hatred at the beginning of this entry? Sounds like you had a marvelous weekend with Jason! Focus on the positive, m'dear. Nature will take its course with the relationship. :) xoxo - me
from x-plicity :
Things are going to be wierd with Jason. Becasue, face it, you guys, in many ways, are opposites. You can't really help that. Just go with it and hope that you two can eventually accept the differences without wanting to stab each other. *grin*.
from spring-da1sy :
Hey, Girlie-you are truly a good number of things that aren't mentioned in that entry. For instance, you're a compassionate, giving, loving friend. You're a patient, caring Mom. We all feel down about ourselves from time to time, so you're entitled, but don't take it too seriously. We all love you here, and that's got to count for something, right? Feel better. Hugs P.S. Phil & I are like that sometimes-the bathtub is always a good refuge. Before I was with Phil, I was very easily drawn into heated arguments, but Phil isn't like that, and I learned to take some time to cool down. I treasure Phil as you do Jason, and I cannot bear the thought of saying something to him that could damage our relationship.
from princesse69 :
Hey! You are a wonderful, wonderful person! A beautiful mother inside and out. No more talk that you hate yourself. You're LOVELY!!! I'm glad you and Jason had such a blissful night at the hotel. I love having little picnics in bed. Lounging in bed is the best!xxx
from allegedwife :
NO, no and no! There is absolutely nothing about you to hate. Not one little thing. You're beautiful, both inside and out. And you're a kickarse mum. So no more of this hating crap. I will not have anyone talking about someone I respect in that way. So there. (And I'm bigger than you so you'd better listen or I'll...I'll....I'll....erm....sit on you or something. Or send a nasty bald policeman round to cower you into submission.)
from realsnoopy :
Hey! Enough of that! I'm sorry your so upset however stop this abusive ranting about yourself! I have seen you, you ARE BEAUTIFUL! You are a beautiful Mother! I read your thoughts and worries every week! You are none of those nasty things you say about yourself! Please calm down. Talk to us. *huge hugs& Love*
from the-moo :
Wow I don't know what to say except that I can't imagine anything worse than a world without you in it.... look at all the things you've achieved already and there's so much more left for you to do. you've not had an easy life not even slightly but YOU have made it good and I can understand if that's left you tired... but honestly don't give up!! I am going to go onto msn now see if you're about if not.. I hope you sleep well but I also hope that when you wake tomorrow the world decides to repay you some of the goodness you've given it!! you're fabulous you truly are!! much love xxxxx
from mpeacock :
I know how you feel about mothering. I want to just give up like my mother did and let me kid do anything he wants, because it's just a constant fight to get him to do anything responsible, and I still lose! I don't even know if corporal punishment would make him clean up after himself or get organized, but I couldn't do it anyway. I am really, though, not going to buy the kid ANYTHING anymore. Every toy, game, book, everthing just adds to the mess he won't clean up, and since he won't clean anything up, I don't want anymore for me to clean up.
from krugerpak007 :
Thank you so much for all your smses and encouragement and thoughts while I was away. I am sorry that Jason and you have been having a bit of a rough time but I hope that the two of you are together right now and having a good time. The pictures of K are so beautiful. She is growing up so quickly, I need to see her (and you of course!). I think I need to plan a visit soon or of course you know you are always invited here! Love to both of you. Talk to you soon I hope. Love u! xoxox (Oh, and I have strated downloading the movies you mentioned in your last commnet to me...) K and I have the same taste in movies, so ask her to suggest more to me! :-)
from bitterwineuk :
RE: BB tonight. Glad Bonnie went. What sorta person cant pronounce thier own name right??? Bonnah, everyone mis-understood her the first night. I think Pete will walk it and Nikki will do quite well. I'm usually very close to who goes off and when, I don't make many mistakes. Hehehee. Do you think more will go in on Monday??
from princesse69 :
Thanks for all the lovely notes you have been leaving at my diary. I still can't believe I passed my test. I'm sorry things with Jason aren't easy at the moment. At least he admitted to having a problem with his over-cleanliness. I'm a woman who likes dirty hands too! I hope the night at the hotel was fun!
from realsnoopy :
How was the weekend??
from life-my-way :
Oh, now I remember, I was freaking out over privacy the night we moved [Friday] and I passworded it. I'll email it to you now. DUH.
from life-my-way :
I'm not locked, to the best of my knowledge, but if I were I'd happily give you the word. Strange...hmmmmm.
from starlight42 :
It's hard when you dont' get to see each other for a while, I'm glad you'll have some time together this weekend and I'm sure it will be lovely!! I like K's new hair cut!
from chakra-chick :
Sweetie---I'm so sorry for what you have to contend with with Jason...he's really being unreasonable. I agree with you...sometimes a bit of 'dirtiness' is sexy. Guys with softer hands and cleaner nails than yours are just not on... Sending you and K massive hugs and kisses... P.S...Thanks so much for the e-mail, luv! ~smooches~
from mpeacock :
I am a clean freak to Sam, but it is aesthetic. I don't care about the germs, I just like neat and tidy. Mechanic hands, mountain man smell bring it on!!!!!!MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!
from thecrankyone :
Hugs!! I don't mind a bit of dirt, to a point. My dad was a farmer, so I am definately no stranger to grime. I believe in a good hand washing (after using bathroom or handling meat), but Jason's OCD, is to the point where it isn't about cleanliness anymore, its about something else, and it won't go away until he admits he has a problem, and gets some professional help. I'm willing to bet it is tied to his other illness. Personally I like a man with hands the show hard work.
from wildrosie :
Thank you for the reality check this morning. When someone is away, it is so easy to remember only the good things. Your entry reminded of the "discussions" I would have with Zeb. Simple statements turned into disagreements, watching what I say and how I say it, the "I'm doing this for you" BS...*Deep Cleansing Breath* OK, I'm balanced again. Love him, can't live with him. Thank you darlin'! ~Rosie~
from mozangeles :
Damn, I know what you are going through all too well! OCD really is a mental disease that needs to be worked out in therapy. OCD is always a product of something else. I feel for you, sweetie! On the other hand, if you don't want him, send him on over to me...I'll take any guy who will spoil me and take me to hotels every weekend! HAHAHAH Kidding, of course. I heart you and K! xoxo - me
from realsnoopy :
At least your not satan! LOL!
from x-plicity :
It's obvious that you're going to have a rough time with your sweetheart once in a while, but you two can totally make this work. *hugs* X
from the-moo :
you really should post more pics I absolutely LOVE pictures and K is among the cutest girls I've ever seen she has such a fabulously warm smile... and how could she not with a mam like you? *huuuugs* xxx
from princesse69 :
Honey is actually a beige dwarf lop rabbit. That pic just reminded me of his chewing (he did chew and cause lots of damage). He's always been an indoor rabbit. We used to live in a flat and never had a garden but now we do he gets to go out in his run. Honey still tries to chew everything but doesn't have much opportunity now as he's not running free indoors as much.
from chakra-chick :
K lookes absolutly lovely in those pics---thanks for sharing. By the way; I sent you an e-mail a few weeks ago---did you recieve it? Anyway, I hope you are well sweetie. ~smooches~
from anita-girl :
K looks soooo sweet! I am so curious as to her real name. Can you email me it? [email protected]. I only got my first smear test when I was pregnant, I was 25! Here it's every year, but I don't plan on getitng one until I am pregnant again. No more doctors down there for a bit please!
from wench77 :
K is so pretty in those pics! Quite the young lady! She looks like a teenager she sure does!! The wee bit of styling is great. And yikes, a smear test only once every three years? Here we do it once a year. And I *love* sainsbury's!! :D But then I am a foreigner!!
from mpeacock :
You know we love your photos!!!! What a beautiful young lady!
from luna-obscura :
K is so beautiful! The new hair really suits her. :)
from thecrankyone :
I love seeing pics, especially the candid shots. She looks lovely with her new haircut.
from mozangeles :
Don't ever apologize for posting pics! You should post more! I love seeing K! I want to see some of you and Jason, too! xoxo - me
from realsnoopy :
She's so adorable!
from princesse69 :
That hair cut really suits K. She looks lovely! x
from justmouse :
aw, her hair looks lovely!
from princesse69 :
I didn't know about lilies being dangerous to cats. We do get cats come into our garden so I won't plant it out there. I was thinking of giving it to my mum who does have a cat so I definitely won't be giving it to her now. Thanks for telling me Hun! x
from the-moo :
aaaaaaaaaaw that's so cute!!! :D I am grinning massive grins for you lovely one xxxxxxxx
from realsnoopy :
GRRRR! I can't figure that out! Send me a note with your holiday dates. :)
from thecrankyone :
Hope K is feeling better. Warren is pretty sensitive to the sun too. He burns at the drop of a at, but do you think he'd remember the sunscreen? I'm so glad to hear K and Jason are getting along, and bonding. Hope things continue to go well for you guys.
from mpeacock :
Wow, she's so grown up! I was so afraid I wouldn't find someone to accept my son, lord knows I think I might have a hard time accepting anyone elses children (I have a hard time with the love-child) Jason is wonderful.
from princesse69 :
Aww...I'm happy Jason and K are bonding so well. Sorry to hear she got sunstroke (at least she'll always wear her hat now). I'm going to take you up on the honey tip for hayfever. I suffer from hayfever quite badly so I'd try anything to avoid it this summer. Have a lovely weekend xxx
from hissandtell :
How marvellous that things are going so well with your Jason, and that he and K are hitting it off so well. Truly, that's such a heart-warming thing to read and it's made me all smiley and happy. Stay blissful, cupcakes! Love, R xxx

from lerin :
I'm glad to hear that things are going so well between you and Jason! :) I love the new pictures of K. Is it just me, or is she really growing up quickly? She looks less little girl and more young lady everytime you post! :)
from mozangeles :
K is absolutely beautiful. But of course she is coming from you!! I love the pictures of K...keep them coming! xoxo - me

from mozangeles :
Aw, give Jason and K both hugs to get well from me! Poor babies. I wanted to see Eight Below, but my boyfriend never would go with me. Is it really horrible? Do the dogs get killed? If so, I don't want to see! xoxo - me
from betchy :
My little K is poorly? Give her a BIG hug and a BIG kiss from me!!! and tell Jason I hope he'e 100% again soon. Give me a text sometime soon and let me know when you're free for a chat because I've got my free minutes again xxx
from x-plicity :
Hope the family feels better real soon. Sending lots of love to K.
from liesal1979 :
Thanks so much for your note hun, hope things are ok with you and hopefully we'll be online at the same time soon. Take Care! xxx
from bitterwineuk :
Not a recipe as such but I can help a little maybe. When you make the burgers, use normal mince, a few drips of oil, 1 onion, a teaspoon of tomato puree(or ketchup if you dont have any in, why shop specially when there is storecupboard ingredients hahahaha.), 1 crushed clove of garlic, a little salt and pepper then the secret ingredient, 1/2 a red chilli deseeded OR 1/2 teaspoon of hot chilli powder. Mix well and make into balls and flatten them but not too thick and the hardest bit is knowing when to turn them as the oil and onions keep the burgers moist not dry. They grill in about 10 minutes on a medium heat. I don't know if it is your type of thing but take my word for it, it is very very tasty. My son loves them when I make mini ones. Hope to be of some help. Becca
from luna-obscura :
Ooh, thank you so much Ava, that would be fab! I hope you enjoy them! (As biscuit-tester, I can pretty much guarantee that you will! hehe) I hope things are going well with you, as well as possible anyway. Sorry I haven't been around in comments much lately but I've been thinking of you.
from starlight42 :
ugh! leave it to a guy to profess his true feelings for you months later...!

from mozangeles :
HAHA isn't that poetic justice? He wants you so badly now that he can't have you. I love it! xoxo - me
from x-plicity :

from princesse69 :
Aww I'm so glad you two have got things back on track. As for being a slut..hehehe - I think's it's great you had such a fab night in a plush hotel and had such a pleasurable time. You deserved it, it's just a shame you got sick. I hope you're feeling better now. I'm really glad Jason is bonding with K. Things are looking up for you-I'm praying that Jason's results are negative. Lots of hugs! ♥

from x-plicity :
How difficult this must all be. I'm sending lots of hugs.
from amb1valent-k :
Sorry to disappoint! Sorry too that things are difficult with Jason. You seemed so happy I hope you'll find a way through this. OCD needs a retraining regime, doesn't it?
from starlight42 :
It IS a girl, it IS a girl! Just keep sending lots of pink power my way...that's what I'm hoping for. :) Either way though, just healthy! I think it is a girl though, esp. since they couldn't "see" anything yesterday. The tech said she'd guess a girl, but didn't want to say for sure.
from princesse69 :
I'm so sorry Jason has cancer. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you both right now. Especially with the OCD to contend with as well. I have never known anyone with OCD extreme but can imagine how hard it must be living together. I know how much you love your animals so I guess living together would be impossible as long as his OCD habits are as obsessive as they are. My thoughts are with you sweetie. ♥
from portia12 :
I am very sorry to hear Jason has cancer. Thinking of you guys. I can relate to having a slightly anal retentive boyfriend. Is Jason a Virgo? Because mine is. He gets extremely upset with an untidy apartment. The apartment is clean, just cluttered. I think it's key for two people in this situation to compromise. I am making an effort to be more organized, and in return, he could do more around the house. If it came down to it, and both of you were willing to compromise, then it might be that you could find homes for a cat or two, and he could lose some of his OCD habits if you were to live together. Thinking of you guys.
from wench77 :
I'm so sorry for you, that is definitely what I would call irreconciliable differences. Hoping your cats will die. Not wanting you to pet your dog. yikes. My dog kisses my face. My cats sleep with me. I dunno. Maybe if you still feel like soul mates you can have a relationship and not live together. I know people who have been together for 20 yrs, and since each had a house when they met, they kept one house each! It is possible, and may be necessary to save your sanity... but dang, I thought I had bad luck with relationships. That takes the cake. Maybe you can watch "As Good As it Gets" with Jack Nicholson with him??? There are medications that control OCD really well, if he can accept he is not normal. Best of luck!
from betchy :
Hiya chick, soz i havent been in touch, i've had no credit (for a change). Man, i cant believe he freaked out about you stroking Finlay with your foot! thats madness!!! I'm so gladf that you arent letting him change you though. stick to your guns my babe!!!! As for saying that he hoped one of your cats would die, that is really really horrible. How could he wish you that much pain? Its still early days in your relationship really, o taking things as they come is probably the best thing. There may come a point where he cant bear to be away from you all the time, so he will just accept that the animal population in your house is above average. Only time will tell. And I'm really sorry to hear that it was bad news at the hospital. i was really hoping it would all be ok, so my thoughts are with you. On a totally different subject, you know you were watching Poor Little Rich Girls when that girl from Weston was on? we saw her out last night and she come and sat with us becuase Jonah had a fling with her a few years ago!!! give me a call if you need to talk or anything ok chick? Love you xxx
from krugerpak007 :
Also just wanted to say thanks for the music recommendations. I am dowloading those 2 songs now. xoxox
from krugerpak007 :
Well you know exactly how I feel about this. But I am so proud of you that you are not willing to change yourself so drastically for a man. I would die without my cats. They are such an important part of my life. I know most people think I am crazy but I guess I don't really care. They are like my babies. After living for so long with Trevor and sometimes feeling "dirty" because of him and his obsessions I vow to find someone who will accept the way I live and how I feel. My cats are important to me and I am not willing to give them up. I think you should enjoy all the time spent with Jason and not think too much about the future. Enjoy what you have now. Who knows? Miracles do happen and you never know. Have a wonderful, romantic weekend. Just enjoy each other. And try not to think about what will be. enjoy what is. Now. Love you! xoxox
from bluecharis :
Wow, for me that OCD business looks like a very bad idea. I once saw a report (on MTV, ahem...) about people with OCD and they got therapy that seemed to help. From what you wrote, hi OCD seems to take away quite a bit of his life quality, so he might want to look into therapy. I'm a bit squeamish around animals as well and don't like to have my face licked, but a few animal hairs will definitely not kill me. And: germs are good for people, they give our immune system something to do! Anyway, I hope you're doing okay! Happy Easter! Love, Charis :-)
from second-love :
Wow thats tough *hugs*
from thecrankyone :
((hugs)) I'm sorry to hear things are so difficult. I wonder if the cancer could have anything to do with the OCD, a sort of paranoia about getting sick again, a need for control in a world where things are so out of control that sort of thing. I havea few quirks along that line, nothing to his extreme (a bottle of shower gel can last me 2 months or more, and I couldn't care less if my sheets are even, but certain pitches (sound wise) will drive me insane, and when I hang up picture displays for some reason I have a thing about balance. However comming from a farm, touching animals is no big deal. I'm lucky if I dust once a month. Maybe you could convince him to see a therapist or councilor to help realize he's taken things to the extreme and it could cost him alot.
from anita-girl :
Hmmmmm this is a hard one! It is werid that the OCD is ruining things more than the cancer (which is so horrible and I feel for you) All those things oyu explained sound really annoying! It would be very hard to be with someone like that although maybe you can get used to it. Everyone does have there quirks although his are more so and stranger than others. As for the cat thing what if he were allergic to cats? Would you than pick him over them? It sucks that you meet someone so compatible yet so not!
from allegedwife :
I don't know much about OCD having never been close to anyone affected. I do, however, know a lot about cancer. And I think you will find that he really doesn't have room (or time) for both in his life. One may well be the cure for the other. If not, lives that are separate but together can sometimes really work well. Whatever happens, enjoy the good bits. Life is to short to angst about the other stuff. Cheers, Fi PS thanks for your email.
from wildrosie :
Oh doll, I am so sorry to hear about the problems you are having. I know that I was bothered by how much "product" Zeb would use...tons of shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste etc. One thing of shampoo lasts me about 3 months, he was going through one every 2 weeks. But I was able to point our his excessive consumption, and he adjusted it. By itself, that one thing was driving me nuts. I can't imagine having everything else that you are dealing with. And oddly enough, I also have 4 cats and one dog. If one of the cats goes, we always get another one. And like you, I would never give up my critters for a relationship. But do give it every attempt. Perhaps counseling and meds might help some, and bring it to tolerable levels. In any event, I will keep happy thoughts for both of you, and we will hope that the cancer is treatable. Hugs and Love ~Rosie~
from mozangeles :
I dated a guy who had hardcore OCD. He spent a half an hour in total (15 minutes, twice a day) a day brushing his teeth...and he claims that is why he has never had a cavity. He also HAD to wash his hands before eating a meal. One time, we went into a donut shop and he took one look and walked out, and then told me that he could not get anything there because they had no bathroom for him to wash his hands. When I told him he had a problem, he started crying. He realized he had one. When we visited my brother once at Berkeley, my brother purposefully licked a dirty bench on campus just to horrify my boyfriend. He also has to have two of everything. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. I sympathize with you, honey. It's hard to deal with. I'm OCD as well, but about weird things...not things like washing hands, etc. I'm also very sorry to hear about Jason's cancer. If you do not mind me asking (and you can e-mail me if you want, [email protected]), what type of cancer does he have? I worked in cancer for over a year at my last job and I would be interested in finding out what medication he is taking, etc. I heart you. xoxo - me
from realsnoopy :
I KNOW it's hard. My neighbor and I were really close. Her husband has OCD. She demanded he take meds. He did, and it helped some. She is the VERY opposite of him. They loved each other enough to work through it, although it was very hard. I have OCD as well. Not as severe as he does though. I don't make others do any of the work, but I am always cleaning something... constantly! It does annoy others in my house. If things are not just right, I can't function. I have a dog and I'm ok with that. I'm sorry to hear he has such a severe case of it. I'm sorry for you. All I can say is ride it out as long as you are ok with it. Nothing wrong with that. Take it day by day and see how you feel. Good luck sweetie!
from spring-da1sy :
Wow--That's really rough. Dick was like that-he actually wore gloves ALL THE TIME!!! It was so embarrassing-he wouldn't shake hands with people, and they often were offended. If Jason doesn't think there's anything wrong with it, there's little chance he'd consider counseling. It sounds like an impasse, for sure. I wish I knew what to tell you. If it was me, and I felt how you feel, I'd wait it out like you seemed to suggest. That didn't help, did it? Hugs
from justmouse :
wow. your problem with his OCD really is a big one. i, too, couldn't live with someone like that! it would drive me mental! i mean we all have our little things that we have to have 'just so' in order to be comfortable...but there's a reason it's called a 'disorder'. because it's not normal. it interferes with your life...or in his case, the lives of those around him. if it were me, i guess i'd have to settle for having a boyfriend to spend time with, but never live with. good luck to you, however it turns out! xox
from bebegracie :
This is really random, but i passed conningsby rd yesterday and thought of you!

I have a feeling that the next few months might be hard, but things will start looking up soon. Heck, they already have because you have a great guy in your life!! Thanks for your note on the shower, that's too bad they don't do them in the UK!

Finally got on top of things here - I've been meaning to say this for ages - *hugs*. I'm thinking of you lots sugar, let me know if there's anything I can do. *more hugs*
from realsnoopy :
You are one of the warmest people I know. You did make me feel better, because it came from you. Do you work outside the home?
from mozangeles :
Aw Ava, life just sucks balls right now, doesn't it? Sometimes it just helps to just come out and say that instead of sugar-coating everything. I heart you, and I am thinking of you. xoxo - me

oh sweetie I wish I could take some of this burden for you.. I hope you understand just how strongly I mean that *hugs*

Wishing you lots of true happiness to come your way! xoxox
from realsnoopy :
That just tells me you are a very strong, patient, and loving woman :)
from princesse69 :
Could I please have the password info for your Avalonte diary? Hope things are okay and all your animals have recovered from their trip to the vets. I bet it was expensive!
from x-plicity :
Love you!
from realsnoopy :
Aw! don't cry. *huge hugs to you!*
from chakra-chick :
Oh honey! Thanks for the comment you left for me...I know I could count on my 'big-sister' to be there for me! I'm glad things with your boy are going so well---great news about him feeling closer to K...I'm so happy for you my dear. ~smooches~
from starlight42 :
Glad things are going good with Jason, but I was shocked to hear what happened with the test!! Geez, I'd be mad as hell too! I hope things move more smoothly from here on out!
from mpeacock :
Adorable photo of K!!!!! :)
from amb1valent-k :
Poor. Very poor.
from realsnoopy :
What a priceless grin over those bubbles!!
from mozangeles :
AVA!!! I am at work and do not have your log-in info to Avalonte. Will you share it with me? I will love you forever. [email protected]. Thank you, sweetie! xoxo - me
from iam-perfect :
I know. I am crazy jealous that he talks to her on the phone all the time though. I"m feeling better, and you're right. Hugs,\ k
from krugerpak007 :
Thanks for your comment love. I miss you very much.
from furiouspuppy :
The whole battle-o-wits can be frustrating. I'm so avoidant lately...try doing the smile-and-nod thing. I reckon it's good to tell people what they want to hear and then do/think what you want!! ;P
from starlight42 :
Your comment on Tom Cruise cracked me up!
from amb1valent-k :
Not going to let you away with the 'overweight' comment. Nonsense! Do you think these stresses and strains with Jason are to do with both of you being a bit worried about his 'condition'?
from chakra-chick :
Expect a looong mail from me soon...it's long overdue!
from x-plicity :
The ups are always worth the downs. *hugs* X
from the-moo :
*huuugs* overweight?? really? sorry that it was that bit that stood out to me but if anything the pics I've seen made you look SKINNY, SLIM, SLENDER not anything CLOSE to overweight! also.. I was thinking about this yesterday about how you don't really understand PAIN until you've been in love but that in my opinion it was more than worth it for the other things you would never feel otherwise! You're wonderful *huuuuugs* xxx and THAT PIC WAS SO CUTE OF K aaaaaw xxx
from second-love :
*sigh* totally... and WHY i would want to saddle myself with TWO is beyond me!!!! One is bad enough!!!! The highs sure ARE high *whew*... but the lows TOTALLY suck!!!!!! Hang in there :))
from rockingchair :
yep, really that close, I've updated the entry to point out theres no zoom. Paul Rodgers introduced himself to the audience during the opening number by shaking my wifes hand. Oh and as for relationships... if its a good one, its worth the crap you go through, if it doesnt seem worth the crap, then don't bother... but you arent at the don't bother stage yet, if ever.
from starlight42 :
Didn't you realize guys get their knowledge from their heads?! They dont' do any research or read...
from realsnoopy :
Oh brother! My son is 13! I get to look forward to more grief????????????? Does this ever end!
from thecrankyone :
I tend to agree with you. He needs to slow down and stop trying to push it. If K has only known him 3 months she hasn't had time to really get to know him and develop a relationship. That takes a lot of time, and happens slowly, it can't be forced. As for the last part, hehe.. that could definately have been misinterpreted the wrong way.. kids ...gotta love 'em.
from second-love :
Hmmmmm i have a bit different take on this than everyone else... if you want to know... email me and ill let you know [email protected] :)))) *hugs*
from x-plicity :
Just keep in mind how much you love each other. It'll be rough at first but things will get better. *hugs* Oh and Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
from lerin :
I can COMPLETELY RELATE to this entry. It is very difficult to put together a blended family, but I can tell you... it is worth it in the end. You two belong together!
from mozangeles :
Wow Ava, sounds like a lot happened since you last updated. I understand that it must be hard for Jason to try to adapt to not only a new relationship, but also pondering upon his role in K's life. But you are right, it is all too much too soon, and he is way overanalyzing. I think he is trying very hard because he loves you, but I think you are right, and he is being way too hard on himself. After all, 3 months is such a short amount of time! There are step children who STILL have issues with step-parents YEARS after the parents even get married. It all takes time, and it is all relative. Hang in there! xoxo - me
from the-moo :
aaaaaw I'm so glad you two are ok - if anything all that whole fiasco proves is how sweet he is for expecting so much of himself!! he's such a sweetie and you MORE than deserve him... also that old photo.. SO CUTE I THOUGHT I WOULD DIE!!!! *huuugS* xxx
from realsnoopy :
she is so cute I could eat her up!! I know it's hard. My husband went through that with my kids too. My kids watched him soooo closely that is he farted wrong, they were upset. Abe pulled away some in the begining. I'm glad those days are "somewhat" behind me. Good luck sweetie! It will come around, it just takes a long time and if he hangs in there, your beautiful daughter will love him!
from anita-girl :
Oh I just had a good laugh at "Jason was playing with me in bed and hurt my bottom" Seriously it sounds so bad but since I know what happened it's so funny! Kids!
from krugerpak007 :
I am happy that K got her ears pierced! She will have a lot of fun with that! your babies are too cute for words! Those pictures look like postcards! Take care! xoxox
from chakra-chick :
K looks lovely with her earrings. Your kitties are so adorable. hugs to you and sweet K. ~SMOOCHES~
from lostmystic76 :
Awwww! Good for K! Way to go! And the kitties look so darn happy! *grins*
from ameliorating :
She looks gorgeous! It took me a long time to repierce my ears (7th time, same holes!), so I can understand the long time in coming decision. Once its done though, its fantastic! Like us girls need another excuse to buy jewelery! Love the cute pics of your kitties. Hope you are doing well! *hugs* Jen
from mozangeles :
OMG K is too cute with her pierced ears. That is adorable! And your kitties! I love them so much! xoxo - me
from anita-girl :
Ahhh K looks so cut eint hose pics. She really has grown! I love the picture of the cat with the hat so cute!
from the-moo :
I LOVE those links you sent me!!! yaaay!! and you should definately email me [email protected] *excited* xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx PS - K is sooo beautiful!!!
from spring-da1sy :
K looks so happy. Perhaps she's growing up a bit, Mom. Your kitties are adorable too.
from the-moo :
actually I haven't been reading you very long remember so in the time I've been reading you've not posted ANY PICS or they didn't show up for some reason.. I even visited your old diary when we first started talking but there were none there because they'd expired!! I shall trawl your archives.. they are the first pics I've seen of you OR K xxx
from x-plicity :
K has grown to be such a beautiful young lady...I can't believe it!!!
from the-moo :
she's sooo cute and the kitties too and AAAAW all of the cuteness!! YAAAAY!!! now I just need to see a pic of lovely you!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
from realsnoopy :
How cute! New earings! She must be excited!
from the-moo :
THANK YOU for filling in my survey I very much enjoyed your answers - even the jibe about my big buddy God - ;-p Thank you for the time it took and for the sweetness you left!! Really Truly enjoyed hearing your thoughts.. as always! LOVE xxx
from spring-da1sy :
Actually, you're right. Thanks for the correction. Now I'm going to be double-thinking just about everything I say!!! :-)
from mozangeles :
I love you, Ava, you grammar nazi. :) xoxo - me
from x-plicity :
I never understood why people here in the US use "could care less", it always bothered me as well. I've always used "couldn't" because it just makes more sense. *hugs*X
from wildrosie :
Stipulated that Americans butcher the English language, but why do Brits say "Half-eight", when they really mean "Half-past eight!?". Sadly, Zeb has gotten me into saying it too! ~Rosie~
from the-moo :
I totally didn't know they said that?? but yeah.. it doesn't make sense at all.. Gareth and I had a long debate about language today.. I love it!! hehe xxxxxxxxx
from lerin :
THANK YOU for writing this entry! I may be an American, but I am well aware that "I could care less" means that you do care. Please, don't think "all Americans" use this phrase... it drives me crazy to hear it!
from realsnoopy :
I am behind on my homework and "I couldn't care less!" *grin*
from baoshi :
BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!! "Mr Twatty pants"!!! OH MY GOD!!! I will use that with glee abondon from here on in :D:D:D !! *hugs* gem xx
from krugerpak007 :
Been/Being-thats me I know..My English has deteriorated so much since living in Israel, actually it has become shocking. But come to think of it, I think I have always confused the 2. I will try take better notice. xoxox
from realsnoopy :
good luck! I hope you get a free room!
from lerin :
I've had my ears, tongue, eyebrow (twice), belly button, nose... but the only ones I really wear proudly these days are a few in each ear and my nose stud. As for Brettin, it's not too nosy! She is actually 100% my biological sister... of my mom and dad. We have *quite a bit* of the Cherokee and Chickasaw tribes in our blood... actually more than anything else! She is just the only one it manifested in. Lindsay and I reflect the White-European-mutt genes. Isn't that incredible that we look so different? One of my own best friends always assumed she was adopted, and once when she made a reference to it, I laughed! I couldn't believe she didn't know she was my blood sister. So, it's not the first time!
from lerin :
Thank you so much for your sweet compliments on all of the pictures I am posting! There's always something a little intimidating about putting your own picture up... I couuld post pictures of the girls and Adam all day, but for some reason putting ones up of me is sort-of scary. Thank you for making me feel better! To answer you... Yes, it is a nose-piercing. I got it when I was 19, and I love it! I don't think I'll ever let that one go. It's always been my favorite of my piercings. And I am 24, which is relatively young to have a couple of children and a divorce under my belt, but since I still have 16 pounds of baby-weight to shed, I think it makes my face look rounder and much younger. :)
from krugerpak007 :
That suite looks amazing and the night sounds like stuff that dreams are made of. I am so happy that you are happy and I hope things will be just fine. I hope to talk to you soon. And again dont forget I may be a stranger lately but I am always here. I promise.
from betchy :
hiya chicken!!! how cool that you met Kevin I am quite jealous actually! i left him a note asking if K kept calling him sexy man like she does with Dave!!! did you try and ring me the other night? i had my phone off because my battery keeps running down real quick so Lisa told me that if i let it run out completely, then kept it turned off while it was charging it would make it last longer. she is probably completely wrong as normal but i thought i would try it!! Any way i should get my free minutes next week (i think its wed) so i will ring you when i do and we can have a good catch up. i really really hope everything is ok, thinking of you, kisses for K xxx
from realsnoopy :
*giggle*
from lerin :
As an ex-English major myself, I have to apologize for my total lack of spellcheck on your last note. Really, I am educated... just mommy-frazzled. ;)
from lerin :
HAHAHAHA!!! Breaticles! Oh my, I've never heard that before. Okay... I was going to say, you poor dear! I've heard of braking out into stress-related raches. When I went through my depression last year, I actually had acne at 23, for the FIRST TIME ever! Our bodies react in different ways. Sorry you rs has to be so itchy! Thinking of you. :)
from mozangeles :
Breasticles! I love that word. I am going to find a way to work it in my everyday jargon. I love breasticles with BBQ sauce! LOL! xoxo - me
from kitchenwitch :
Hiya! I also lost the password info you gave me <<<<blush>>>> I've wanted to ask you for it again, but I felt silly!!! If you still don't mind me reading, I'd love to have it again! Bless!
from anita-girl :
Hey! I am glad that you had such a greta Vday! I used ot have the info to Avalonte but I have lost it. I totally understnad if would do not wish to share it again with me, but if you do please email me at: [email protected]

Harte & Garter perchance? See you two tomorrow?
from wench77 :
hehe, well, my valentines day was NOT half of what yours was... you have really upped the ante. How wonderful a time you had! Thanks for sharing!
from liesal1979 :
Hey Love! I was wondering if i could have the password, as i don't have it! I totally understand if you say no however! My email address is [email protected] On a seperate note...How lush was that room, you have no idea how pleased i am that u have found someone so great, it goves me hope!! Lisa xx
from mozangeles :
Wow, that hotel room is absolutely gorgeous. I am seething with envy right now! When I worked as a travel agent, I was always fascinated by how hotels made the beds look so enticing. That bed looks yummy. Glad you had a romantic V-Day, you deserve it, sweetie! And I know that I am a semi-new reader, but if you ever feel like sharing the pw to you other diary, I would love to read. [email protected]. And I will not be offended if you refuse! :) I heart you. xoxo - me
from wildrosie :
Your Valentine's Day was loads better than mine! Then again, I DID have a semi-private examining room, but I sure could have used a cardigan to cover up certain parts of my anatomy! I am delighted that you had a wonderful time, and I hope you have many more with your love. But now curiosity is killing the cat, but alas, I shall have to go unsatisfied, as I figure I haven't been around enough to be in on the really private stuff. *Sigh* Hugs ~Rosie~
from hissandtell :
How blissful it all looks - I'm so very glad you had the chance to spend a romantic luxurious weekend with your beautiful boy - and right opposite the castle, too! Just lovely. Love, R xxx
from bluecharis :
Hi there! I think I had the password for avalonte once, but with updating the Firefox... could I have it again? (blue at the.addict.de) Thanks in advance and I hope nothing too bad happened. Love, Charis :-)
from realsnoopy :
Beautiful room! Go You!
from yelayna :
Teeth are feeling much better now and I'm just left with the lergie now, lovely! Hope your weekend worked out in the lovliest manner possible in the end - I thought of you! xxx
from mpeacock :
The Ketchikan daughter is now 14. She was 12 when she downloaded the porn.
from luna-obscura :
I hate doing the Nohari windows! I don't really think of you as ANY of the words I chose. It was mostly a case of: "well, if I MUST choose..." y'know? I feel like a bitch now. Meh. Did you get my new passwords BTW? xx
from x-plicity :
Can't do it.... I tried! I just couldn't get more then two, and those weren't even really you. Sorry, hon.
from krugerpak007 :
I can't do the negative one. Sorry, but no! It is a nice idea though..very interesting..I am dying to know about your weekend away. No details to be ommitted!!! Hope you are ok. Miss you. xoxo
from baoshi :
OOOOh that was good!!! However, they need some more words, I'd also add gorgeous and feisty to that list if I could!! *hugs* gem xx
from wench77 :
Oh, I hadn't seen that you had done a johari yourself... I thought you were not finding adjectives you were looking for to describe me! That is what I was curious about! :D
from wench77 :
dang, now I'm curious! I wrote which ones *I* would have used for myself. Which adjectives were you looking for??
from wench77 :
you're a sweetie!
from lerin :
I had fun doing your Johari window! I'm adding it to my diary too. :)
from x-plicity :
Happy V-day! *heart* X
from ameliorating :
Happy Valentine's Day!! Hope you have a wonderful romantic day, you deserve it girl!
from realsnoopy :
Happy Valentines Day!
from chakra-chick :
Thanks for the wonderful, kind note over at my place-you are so very sweet! You go on with your bad self girl! You have to teach me how to do that too-think it will come in handy with my new beau! Hope you enjoy your romantic weekend away with your Jason. Unfortunately mine will be with 4 other people as well as a 5year old and a 3 year old. ~smooches~
from thecrankyone :
Have a good weekend!!
from krugerpak007 :
Gee your mom can be a bit difficult but you know her too well!!! Your weekend away sounds like a perfect fairytale!!! Enjoy lovey you deserve it! Love to K!!
from mozangeles :
Go enjoy your Valentine's weekend, Ava. You deserve it! And we all want to hear about it when you come back! Especially me! xoxo - me
from the-moo :
hahahahah go you with your wonderful game playing!!! hehe *hugs* I hope that your special time is even more special than you can possibly imagine!! lovelovelovelovelove xxxxxx
from x-plicity :
It's funny when parents try to be manipulative with us. Hello! You taught US! Parents just have to learn that they can't win. *hugs* and enjoy your weekend with Jason!!!
from realsnoopy :
I hear ya sweetie! Family can be a BIG pain!
from spring-da1sy :
Yaaaaay! Yipeeee! Woo-hoo! I thought so. If you came right out and said it, I missed it, but I thought I picked up on that little tidbit. I wish I could give a huge squeal of delight for you, but that just wouldn't be a good idea right this minute. Thanks for the advice. I have found a few Swarovskis that have both, and there's one I might be able to talk myself into.
from amb1valent-k :
Back down on the 22nd if that's any good to you?
from amb1valent-k :
Back down on the 22nd if that's any good to you?
from baoshi :
Sorry that your mum is being so much hard work at the moment - trust me, I COMPLETLEY understand!! Hope you're OK though, *hugs* gem xx PS We're going to need photos of the new BF, I'm really intrigued as to what he looks like : )
from mozangeles :
Wow, your mom needs some real therapy! I feel so sad for her! My mom is very co-dependent as well. She gets really upset if our dog pays attention to anyone else besides her. It's sick! LOL xoxo - me
from spring-da1sy :
Wow. I feel terrible for both of you-you and your mother. It's too bad she hasn't come to terms with the fact that her childhood is over, and now she's the mother. I'm sure you do more than enough to compensate, but just the same, I'd bet it gets trying at times. Hugs
from x-plicity :
Wow...sounds like mom has problems with Jason! I can't wait for the rest of the story. *hugs* X
from realsnoopy :
Ouch! How was that????
from krugerpak007 :
Gosh! I want details!
from spring-da1sy :
Uhhhh...Congratulations?
from baoshi :
Oooooh - so what's it like then???????? Share all :D!! Have a wicked weekend, *hugs* gem xx
from makinganewme :
LOL, you crack me up :) Have a great weekend!
from mozangeles :
Let me know how "it" was! LOL! :) I am too afraid to do it. xoxo - me
from amb1valent-k :
And how was it for you?! or was the title of the entry before misplaced? :-D
from x-plicity :
Sassy Girl!!!!
from liesal1979 :
Hey there chick. Just wanted to let u know how pleased i am for you! Have a good one! Liesal xx
from chakra-chick :
Hi love, You really should have told me earlier about the certain diarylander! Yes, I do remember you mentioning that - I'm so sorry dear! I think all parents are like that with their kids- mine were with me too. Good Luck with your Jason-hope you have a great time! ~smooches~
from thecrankyone :
My parents were much the same way. I did really good in classes that were interesting, but not so much in classes I thought were boring.(economics anyone?). I was good at bsing and had a relatively good memory so I managed to get good grades part of the time by spitting the text book back on tests. Unfortunately math and science (and English) were my best classes just cause the subjects were fun, so my folks often thought I was smarter than I really was, when alot of it was good memory. Though I'm not stupid. I had a 93% average.
from the-moo :
that is so exactly the way my family all think of me too!!! hehe I love you I love that you understand!! xxxxx
from jane-dreams :
This entry made me laugh. We all do want to believe that our babies are geniuses... I've never heard of someone growing up and having to convince their moms otherwise.
from x-plicity :
Ok, so you convinced your mom, but I'm affraid you haven't convinced me yet.
from mozangeles :
My parents, especially my father, were the same way. My dad is, in many ways, traditionally Japanese, so there was always a lot of pressure to excel. I feel ya, honey! xoxo - me
from the-moo :
hehehehehehehe xxx
from krugerpak007 :
I am very happy you are happy. Even if he does have a cleanliness problem (his cleanliness problem sounds like Trevors) but at least he handles the dog. After the dog he will surely get used to the cats. And cats are so clean anyway, only the hair is a problem I guess. But if he is not allergic one can overcome that anyway. So I am not worried too much about your obstacle. Especially if that's the only one. He treats you like a princess and that is the most important thing.
from amb1valent-k :
Any more talk of Granite City? So nice to read you so happy xx
from baoshi :
Ooooh - I quite fancy some Pete Burns driving gloves... Right on, sweetie! Some fucking people really make me sick, and that sick twat is in top of a very large pile of sick twats, I say we burn him and film it for pay per view telly! *hugs* gem xx
from mpeacock :
Let's make a coat outta that sick f#$%^r! Is it a male?
from mpeacock :
Same with us, I am the clean freak and Sam is the organized chaos one. I have gotten better (more relaxed about it) as I cannot keep up with my house with my school schedule, and I don't want to mess with Sam's stuff too much or then he can't find it. But it does bug me to an extent. But I get over it. I am glad we don't have a cat, but I would get one for Mo, if we didn't travel so much, it would fry in the summer when we're gone for months. Don't worry, you'll both relax into it and change 50-50. Sam now cleans his whiskers out of the sink and I sometimes don't make the bed.
from the-moo :
I just meant away like not updating all of the time and just being online!! *hugs* Id far rather you were out there in the real world being in love though.. esp since I can never get online for long these days so it's better this way.. you're in love and I don't miss loads of your entries!! xxxxxxx
from the-moo :
AAAAAAAAW I'm sad that you're away but if coming back means you're not with him anymore.. I wouldn't have you back!! haha I'm so so so so so so sooo pleased for you xxxxxxx
from chakra-chick :
Sweetie, I am so darn happy for you! Hope he keeps it up... ~smooches~
from allegedwife :
You mightn't update often anymore but it was worth the wait. Good to see you so bloody happy Cheers Fi xxxx
from hissandtell :
Ah, your entry has put a big smile on my face. How wonderful you're so happy, darling - sounds like he's a damned good one! Love, R xxx
from mozangeles :
So, when is the wedding, my love? And we want to see pictures of this handsome devil!!! I am so happy for you. :) xoxo - me
from baoshi :
That was beautiful, sweetheart - good for you : ) Grasp it with two hands and enjoy it, *hugs* gem xx
from second-love :
so happy for you!!!
from x-plicity :
*giggle* Love is in the air...
from amb1valent-k :
You OK Ava?
from squirrelrat :
I don't see you as being selfish at all. If I moved to Boston with ND, I'd be leaving my mother behind which would be terrible for the both of us as we enjoy a mutually warm relationship and I'm really all she's got. But, as you've pointed out, if you feel less of a connection to your mum, then do as you please. You've got to life your life as an adult with free will and without guilt.
from starlight42 :
time to update!!! :)
from x-plicity :
'ello Luv!
from realsnoopy :
No way! You are not selfish!
from the-moo :
you call yourself a lot of names ut probably the worst of those is selfish because it is so far from being true!! *hugs* I will get back into a pattern of having enough time online to talk properly soon I love you I'm thinking of you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
from amb1valent-k :
Not selfish at all, but I think you will miss her. So is the potential location close to me? I do hope so! (You do know how cold it gets up here in the winter don't you?) xx
from jane-dreams :
Who "expects" you to be your mother's caretaker? Is it just an unspoken thing? You are definitely not a selfish woman... you are quite the opposite. Your mother has two daughters, and I don't see why a younger woman with a disabled daughter should be the bearer of that responsibility before an older, childless woman. Makes sense to me. Please don't feel guilt or obligation. It is your time to enjoy life!!!
from allegedwife :
Selfish? You? You are the most giving of people. This time, maybe, you could give something to yourself. A happy future. Go for it Girl.
from ameliorating :
Hey, its Jen (formerly Tigerlily21). I've moved to a new diary and just wanted to let you know! If you could please take Tigerlily off your buddy list, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
from baoshi :
You're not being selfish, you're being sensible!! You can't go putting your life on hold for your mum. Yeah, you'll make sure that she has some care or something in place because you love her and care for her, but honey, this is YOUR time - do what you need to do, *hugs* gem xx
from anita-girl :
No your not being selfish. It is a lot to care for a disabeled daughter and you should not have to look after an aging mother as well if there is someone else who can. She will be older, she doens't have kids, and is she better off fincaily? Do what you want you have to live your life to make yourself happy, if it comes to it being oyur responsibily to take care of your mother for who knows what reason (maybe the Bitch won't be around to!) then you can makes changes then, move your motehr to where you are, move back or even arrange care. Don't live your life by what if's!!!! I am so happy for you and Jason!
from mozangeles :
Not selfish at all. You have sacrificed so much of your life already for others; it is time that you live a little yourself and enjoy it! The Bitch can take care of your mom for now, and if ever your mom really needs you, you always have the option of being there for her. xoxo - me
from x-plicity :
Not selfish at all! *hugs* X
from spring-da1sy :
No, that's not selfish. The bitch should have taken over caring for your mother when you had K. I don't know how anyone could possibly be expected to care for both a disabled child and aging/disabled parent, especially if there's another sibling who is able. For once, you have the opportunity to be happy. Don't let the bitch rob you of that. Also, don't agonize over this so much that you're not enjoying Jason :-) Hugs
from mpeacock :
YOu are NOT selfish. If you can't save/take care opf yourself (make yourself happy and whole) how can you be expected to do it for someone else? It's time to think about yourself.
from jane-dreams :
If you ever read my archives, you will see that Adam and I happened the same way... crazy, mad love moving at breakneck speed. And here we are a bit over a year later, married with a newborn, still going strong, and him being an incredible father to Sophie. I'll never vomit on my keyboard over your gushing... I am so, so happy for you!!! It's about time you found the one. :)
from liesal1979 :
Hi love, just wanted to let you know just how happy i am for you, you deserve it. Sorry if you were apart of any of my drunken ramblings, i honestly can't remember a thing. Happy New Yearxxx
from furiouspuppy :
Happy Chrissy, Happy Birthday K and all that good stuff! :)
from second-love :
Oh... i couldnt be more happy for you!!! FINALLY!!! You totally deserve it!! Happy HAPPY New Year hon! *hugs*
from baoshi :
Oh babe, you just go ahead and be as happy as you are : ) Glad that you and K and Jason are so happy and had a wicked Christmas, here's to the most fabulous new year for all of you : ) *hugs* gem xxx
from mozangeles :
Damn, you just went and found yourself the perfect life!!! I am so happy for you...and JEALOUS! xoxo - me
from spring-da1sy :

from furiouspuppy :
Glad to hear that things went well on the date. Do you reckon that he could be "the One" for you? It sounds crazy but the way you are writing makes it seem as if you are truly happy.
from mpeacock :
I am happy that you are happy!
from second-love :
awwwwww so excited for you!!! I love it when my best girlfriends are happy!! Sounds like you have quite the catch there. Cant wait to hear all about it!
from baoshi :
Ooooooh!! So excited for you - there's nothing better than those first encounters where everything seems so exciting and fresh and everything they do turns you on or makes you laugh (maybe both, lol?!) Enjoy yourself because you sure deserve it, angel!! *hugs* gem xx
from wildrosie :
I'm wishing you all the best, Here's to a wonderful dinner, then a delightfully cuddley night. Hugs ~Rosie~
from vanoonoo :
hey girlie - have just phoned and asked for a reconsideration, if that still comes back at the lower rate will then go to appeal tribunal. in the mean time I am gonna go to the doc myself and also make mom go or something. this is doing my head in. thanks for ht epush - I would have called eventually but doing it today means its one step nearer to conclusion. x
from furiouspuppy :
Kindred spirits! Hurrah!
from anita-girl :
That is really dumb about Matt to go from wanting a relationship to f**k buddies, and not tell you! I don't care if he is scared of commitement, gorw up your 28!!! Men can be such babies! I hope all goes well with jason!
from x-plicity :
Ooo!! Yay!! Have way more fun with Jason then is allowed by human standards!!!!
from amb1valent-k :
Oh yes! Definitely a better bet this one! have a great time C!
from chakra-chick :
What a wanker! I really had high hopes for that boy... Well, miss ava...guess it was only a matter of time before you caught someone elses heart-good luck with the date...and of course I want a DETAILED account of how it went (I have to live vicariously through you now!). Have a lovely day further sweetie! ~smooches~
from mom2kendall :
I hope you have a fabulous time on Sunday!! You deserve it!
from mpeacock :
Honestly, some men just CAN'T communicate. Really, my man is like that sometimes too. He just can't come out and tell the whole truth, if it is something he knows would hurt me or make me mad or something I wouldn't approve of. He is incapable of telling the truth on these matters. I have come to accept this, only because everything else is so good.
from baoshi :
BAHAHAHA!!!! Just read your note - WOOOHOO for the cheesy songs :D :D :D!! I love you - you really just get me : ) *hugs* gem xx
from second-love :
Pffffffff IF we are interested!!! Of COURSE and we want DATE details :))) good for you!

from starlight42 :
I can't believe how Matt has turned out...I love the term you used, "knob"! Sounds fitting. Good luck on the date.
from wildrosie :
Just say...Buh-Bye Matt! How wonderful to have a chance to get back together with someone so special from your past. Who knows, maybe the timing will be right this time! Wishing you an excellent Sunday. Hugs~Rosie~
from jane-dreams :
Hooray for old friends and new opportunities!!! What can I say about Matt? Is he a complete moron or what?
from rockingchair :
Now that's much more like it. :-)
from mozangeles :
Matt is a complete wanker knob end head. (I adore British colloquialisms, by the way.) I cannot believe his audacity! You cannot go from relationship to fuck buddies and back and forth. What the fuck is his problem? Am I going to have to fly there and kick his ass with my pathetic fighting skills? xoxo - me
from beckers-j :
Hey, thanks for your opinion on the boots. I am also crap at guessing what will look good together. Even with my current wardrobe. I'll think of a couple items I haven't put together before and figure "Oh, that'll look good!" Then it turns out bad, bad, bad. Anyway, I'm really just here to say thanks. ;)
from sketty :
Hear hear about George Best and thanks for visiting my diary. Learn Italian whilst you pee? That's great :)
from jane-dreams :
I sent you an email this morning. Thanks for your note! :)
from amb1valent-k :
It dose!
from baoshi :
bahahahahaahha!! Blue Nun!! That's such a crappy drop of vino : ) Thanks for making me smile, your notes really mean a lot to me ♥ *hugs* gem xx
from the-moo :
so completely 100% agree!!! hahaha been having this rant at Gareth everytime it's dared take over my TV!! I myself hate football so it's of no interest to me.. yes its sad that anyone dies but people who deserve it a lot more die and nobody even notices!! stupid england!! xxxxxxxxxxxx
from wench77 :
well, gotta agree with you about the footballer. Dang. Went out drinking after a liver implant? You're right. The poor family who lost someone who gave their liver to him. Coulda gone to someone else with liver disease. dang.
from baoshi :
Hear, hear!! I've been saying for the past couple of days how completely pathetic the media are being because he was at death's door - let's face it, he was an alcoholic and played football well a million years ago, AND lest we not forget, also a wife beater!! And we have given this man THIS much goddamn coverage?? About bloody time he died if you ask me!! And why does Besty get the air time when people like Richard Whitely die and barely get a mention?!?! This world is bollocking mad if you ask me!! *hugs* gem xx
from thecrankyone :
I'm not big on soccer so I'm not overly familiar with him, however I have had more than enough experience of living with an addict who has had many many chances to get sober and just turns up his middle finger at everyone who's tried to help him. Eventually it reaches a point where you have to say enough. The real fighters are the one's who quit, the ones who go to work, sleep with thier wives and take care of thier kids, while meeting thier obligations, not the ones who want to live the hard party life and than expect everyone to take pity on them when the reaper comes to collect his price. Addicts can be helped, but they have to want to, otheriwise it is just a waste of money and breathe. Of course I am also a tad biased.
from mozangeles :
The Queen is not dead! I am right here. :) HAHAHA just kidding. Heart you! xoxo - me
from amb1valent-k :
And now he's stone cold sober at last.
from second-love :
I couldnt agree with you more...even here in America we have heard about him and his impending death. It would be better if they would put more of a spotlight on the dangers of alcoholism and what it can do to destroy your life.
from krugerpak007 :
Why can't there be more Liams in the world? I am sick of men and their way of thinking and well, nearly everything about them..Sometimes I think they are only good for one thing! xoxoxo
from second-love :
*sigh*... MEN... i mean really. For God sake we are really not THAT complicated! There are just a couple of things we require. I admire your ability to not just have him come over. I have NEVER been able to do that. I wish i could!!! I need more of your strength and determination.
from buffylass :
I'm glad that there appears to be a network of Philip lovers across the UK.
from baoshi :
I'm so glad that you're feeling better - yay for love : )!! *hugs* gem xx
from realsnoopy :
I'm sorry hon, and please forgive me for saying FUCK HIM!!! You deserve better than that!!! I understand what he may be feeling but be an adult and talk to you about it! I don't want to see you and your daughter hurt by some ass hole!!!! *hugs to you sweetie!*
from spring-da1sy :
Woweeee! What a roller-coaster. Geez, it doesn't take a genius to know that until he replied, you were a wreck. I'm sorry he did that to you, and I hope your next text from him is more positive. Hugs
from mozangeles :
Go for Liam! Go for Liam! Aw, I know how you feel, though. Give him a fair chance to sort things out, but do not wait too long. :) xoxo - me
from jane-dreams :
I'm sorry he has disappointed you! I hope you are feeling a little better today.
from starlight42 :
what happened? now I'm worried/upset for you!!
from mozangeles :
Hey you! I am working 3 days this week because Thursday is Thanksgiving, and our company is also giving us the Friday after that off. YAY!!!! xoxo - me
from x-plicity :
Oh, Sweetie. I wish I could hug you right now. What did that rat do to you?! Do you want me to put a hit on him? *grin* *hugs* X
from spring-da1sy :
Feel better, Hon.
from mozangeles :
What happened with Matt? You are killing me here with the suspense!!! xoxo - me
from thecrankyone :
((hugs)) sorry things have gone wrong..I hate it when things like happen...
from allegedwife :
{{{{hugs}}}} I am so sorry it has gone bad enough to get to the steristrip stage. And, Ava, it is never a waste of our time thinking about you or leaving comments or sharing your thoughts. because we care.
from second-love :
OK well FU#$. I even hesitated to SAY all that "fabulous BS" because i know all too well about how it can turn in an instance. Man... im feelin like i could seriously kick some male ass... and i have a couple in mind. Here if you need to talk... and you know i understand *hugs*
from the-moo :
what what what...??? pleas come online,, I'll set myself to busy so we can chat without interuption I won't say are you ok since you clearly are not! oh no this is awful I don't want you to be sad... tell me how to help!! I'm here *hugs* xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
from wench77 :
Um, I don't think that an about face in a situation is EVER not news or not a reason for an entry. Seems that is way more reason to write than 'situation continues swimmingly the same". So very sorry that things have turned for the worse (probably you don't want to hear that anymore than pointless congratulations). Hang in there. You are more than some dumb guy. You know you are. We know you are. Your daughter knows you are. Hugs.
from vanoonoo :
thinking of you :(
from baoshi :
Oh God hon, I'm sorry that you're really suffering and I'm gutted that it's come to the steri strips : ( I can only hope that you feel better soon and whatever situation has arisen gets resolved, and fast. And I'm sorry I can't do anymore to help, huge *hugs* gem xx
from workcrush :
Oh honey, I'm so sorry that you're in so much pain. Why do we let men do this to us? Hugs, sweetie.
from yelayna :
Oh honey, I'm so sorry. *massive hugs* Wish there was something I could do for you - let me know if there is. *hugs*
from yellowrosetx :
Honey, I'm so sorry you're hurting! Maybe I could offer some advice if I knew what was happening, but I respect your privacy and I'm sure you'll share when you're ready! I've just started reading you-I saw you on Kathy's buddy list. Can't wait to read more! Have a great weekend!
from mpeacock :
I am worried about you. I was thinking about you yesterday; thinking how much you deserve to be happy with all you do for K and animals and how loving and gorgeous you are. Whatever it is with Matt, I really feel a woman like you will not go unappreciated for too long!
from baoshi :
Oooh yeah - Noo's idea is good - get him to come to you!! I'm so sorry that your mum is being a pain, it would be so nice for you and Matt to have some time together as just the two of you, but I think that it's so great that Matt realises that you have to put K first, : ) You'll have a good time whatever the situation, **hugs** gem xx
from second-love :
You two are just too sweet. And its wonderful that he is so great with K... how lucky you must feel to have found such a great guy!!! I hope you have a fab time!!
from buffylass :
Woo, finally someone who understands! It's the alcohol that gets me, especially beer. Once I see someone else smoking in the pub I immediately start craving, even though I probably wouldn't actually enjoy it if I could.
from the-moo :
aaaw honey how annoying.. if I lived near enough and she knew and trusted me I'd have her here with me!!! *hugs* he sounds amazing seriously.. not a lot of men would be that understanding and it's because he loves you and YEAY!!! it will all be fine but still... annoying!! grrrr *hugs* xxx
from wench77 :
Well, I admit from my end I do very much LOOK like I am waiting around, cuz umm, that's what I feeeeeeel like so that is what I wrrrrooooootte about, so you don't need to be sorry. Just I was attempting to NOT look like I was waiting around for him. Things look distinctly different from the inside and the outside eh? :D Like me never taking my coat off at his place despite standing there talking for two hours could indicate I am not interested too. Or just that I am um, always planning to not stay (ie drop by on my way to somewhere so if he is busy I can just say 'oh of course, I was just on my way to X" , (not actually coming here to SEE you) hehe. egads I am a dolt.
from buffylass :
Thankyou for reading :) And god yes, I fancied the pants of Oliver Wood too, especially with that hot Glasgow accent. I was gutted when he wasn't in the third film at all.
from vanoonoo :
wow - what a roller coaster!
from spring-da1sy :
Just enjoy your time with Matt, and I know you will! Thanks for the suggestion...If they were to move in with the son who has more space, that's the one whose wife is expecting in December. That could only be a good thing.
from baoshi :
Sorry about the whole guilt trip thing - sometimes Mums can seriously suck!! But I do hope that you get to see Matt for a couple of days, that would be so great for you two : ) (and NOT just in that sort of way!!) *hugs* gem xx
from mozangeles :
Wow, were our mothers separated at birth? Seriously, they sound scarily similar with the neediness for overappreciation, guilting, etc. Wow. xoxo - me
from krugerpak007 :
And what would I ever do without you, my soulmate?
from krugerpak007 :
I want to see that mag!!!
from the-moo :
yaaay I don't want to slap you!! eheh I like it *hugs* I don't want to be cheeky but if I'm allowed to have the password could you email it to me.. I totally respect your privacy so I won't be at all offended if you don't want me in there!! xxxxxxxxxxxx
from allegedwife :
You sound so happy it is almost sickening. Damn you! I am soooooo jealous ;) (and thrilled for you)
from starlight42 :

from tigerlily21 :

from crowhihs :

Geez, you can delete that hideous note if you want..I won't be offended..:-) xoxox
from krugerpak007 :
We need to talk-I miss you sweety. My phone bill was just so high this month, because Tiki, in her drunken state must have used the phone to call numerous overseas numbers while I was sleeping...! Hours and hours to the US. All bloody night I think. So I am in a bit of trouble so once I pay this bill off we are on again. In the meantime I hope to catch you online soon. I am at the hospital again all day tomorrow and also have some major issues with Isaac..long story but I will bring him home from the hospital after his shift and we will "talk"."talk" meaning he is going to dump me once and for all...enough babbling in your notes section...Love you hon. Have a good night. xoxox
from snowconecoma :
Hmm... I think I would probably give in. Probably because I love that movie so much I'd have to buy it for myself. Haha.
from hissandtell :
Oh, things with Matt are sounding better all the time - I hope it all stays fun for you, darling. I'm looking forward to following the next stages of your romance. Love, R xxx

Thank you for your comment! :-) It made me very happy. I normally have to take a ton of pictures before I find one I think is decent. Bah. Anyway, THANK YOU AGAIN! And I hope you have a wonderful evening.

from smedindy :
Marathons were actually this long candy bar that had chocolate and caramel. They were en vogue in the 70's. Thanks for reading! Stop by anytime!

I don't know how to say this...But, CALL HIM. If he says something you don't wanna hear then fake another call coming through, someone at the door, house burning down...ANYTHING!! lol But from the sounds of it, he does like you, and he had to have a bit of dutch courage inside him to let you know! Bless..Ain't love grand!! lol Best of luck hun! xxx
from the-moo :
I completely agree about men being weird and texts are all kinds of bad in terms of being confusing but you're right about them feeling safer!! I do that too!! *hugs* I hope it is all positive and good and happy and al kinds of wonderful when it does finally unravel itself to you!! I think he LOVES you!! ;-) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh, and definitely I think animals should be in heaven. Ohhh, I hope they are! That would be awesome.
from starlight42 :
ohhh, an interesting revelation with Matt! men!! well, i'm sure that he did mean that he loves you and is looking for a future. and kids?! wow. I would be so thrilled to see you guys married off...but now is probably a bit early for that LOL. Thanks for the note. Too bad you aren't over seas, otherwise I'd take you along with us when we go out so you can defend me :)
from amb1valent-k :
Progress indeed!! So what happens next?
from beckers-j :
Hmm, thanks for your comment. I do feel much better about eating popcorn off the floor now - and it's call because of you. ;)
from krugerpak007 :
Amen, Amen, Amen
from mozangeles :
I am with you. I was raised Lutheran, then subjected to Catholic high school which forced me to rethink religion, but I still like to believe that my pets are all waiting for me in heaven...even if I am not sure I even myself believe in heaven. Thinking about that is what got me through putting one of my cats to sleep recently. Not having that to look forward to is just depressing. xoxo - me
from the-moo :
hehe I AM that diarist!! *hugs* thank you for all of your love and kindness the past week or so it really is appriciated! The vet told us to take her home in the end said she wasn't in pain and that mabe letting her go when she wanted was the best plan since Gareth was soooooooooo upset about it. So she's still here.. and I'm dreading the day I walk in to find her no longer in her body.. I think animals must have souls because otherwise how can they hvae personalities.. they'd all just be clones of the same thing in each animal. Also don't think of me as releigious.. I'm not religious... I have faith that there is a God and I love the god that I've come to know though my own personal experience but I'm not religious and am often completely appaled by the church and their behaviour! You're a wonderful soul and I'm glad to have met you lovelovelove xxx
from mpeacock :
Halaylooya to that! All dogs go to Heaven! More so than people that's for sure. I believe as you do, but if anything does go, it sure is animals.
from mpeacock :
I am catching up, my computer has been down. Hello!
from thecrankyone :
I haven't been carded since I was about 22/23. Of course the drinking age here is 21, and most places have signs saying they will card anyone who looks under 27, (I guess I've always looked old, even when I was 21 I often didn't get carded)not that it stops anyone judging by the amount of underage drinking. I that goes on. I think I'd faint if someone carded me. I guess the 11 year old calling you mom wasn't a clue. Personally I'd be flattered, either that or I'd question her eyesight.
from mozangeles :
I act like I am so annoyed by getting carded for alcohol, etc, but I am secretly pleased. :) xoxo - me
from x-plicity :
I've seen pictures...Old lady my ass!
from realsnoopy :
Gota love it!
from the-moo :
also I don't know if you know this already but my other cat has three legs... she lost it as a kitetn and we recued her as an adult so we've only known her with three legs but she is the fastest cat I've ever seen and easily the nicest natured. I hope your kitty gets well soon.. I am adding you.. I'm glad you found me! xxx
from the-moo :
thank you so so much for your kind note. *hugs* it really did brighten me a little to know that someone not only understood but would take the time to write and make me feel better. I'm off to check out your diary now! thank you again xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
from workcrush :
Oh and regards Scissor Sisters - yes and no. Krumpet and I were listening to music online and she was trying to find a Franz Ferdinand video and was getting frustrated and she finally realized that it wasn't a Franz Ferdinand song, it was Scissor Sisters (Laura) so I said, OOH, someone recommended them (but I couldn't remember who) so we went back to my comments and I said, oh yes. And I told Krumpet you were a Brit. (Her husband moved here from England to marry her. Awwwww....) and Krumpet says "Well that explains it" because she had been touting the virtues of Virgin Radio.
from vanoonoo :
we need more on that story!!!
from krugerpak007 :
It's so great to hear the smile in your voice, to hear you sounding bright and happy and cheerful. You have no idea. I am so glad you are feeling good. If there is anyone who deserves it, it is so you. I am also glad little Chloe is doing ok, and that her leg may be ok. Thinking of you guys, and keep been happy little one. I love you! xoxo
from chakra-chick :
Aww...poor kitty! Looks like she has quite a fight ahead of her, but I'm sure she'll be running around and climbing trees in no time! Glad that you had such a great time with Matt-he seems so lovely. Thank you so much for your comment dear...I so appreciate it that you understand how I feel about this. I will definately take you up on the offer to send you a long, soppy e-mail...I just need to share this all with someone...you know what they say; 'a problem shared is a problem halved'. Love you stax sweetie! ~smooches~
from furiouspuppy :
Thanks so much for the bday note. I totally feel like you and I are on the same page about the dreaded food issues.
from mpeacock :
Poor, poor kitty. But great Matt!
from thecrankyone :
I'm so glad Miss Chloe is all better, well mostly. How long do they think she will need to have the pins in? I'm sure once she gets some meat back on her bones and some time to heal she will be as good as new.
from realsnoopy :
OMG! Your kitty must feel aweful! That looks so painful! I know you are taking extra special care! *hugs*
from x-plicity :
*happy sigh* Someone is sweet on our Miss Ava. *giggle*
from diablogem :
OMG!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!! :D Yes!! I am so glad that someone else was pissed off with that too - thought I may have been going mad!! OK- slight random interlude here, but some Chinese guy was just watching PORN in a fairly full internet cafe!!! With headphones on!!! And I think he's just been to the toilet!!! EEEUUUURRRGGGHHHHH!!! Sorry - just couldn't be the only one who knew about that!!! Anyway, thank you so much for your message, it made me feel so much better : ) ♥ ♥ *hugs* gem xx
from tigerlily21 :
Ohhh, the poor baby kitty!! I'm sorry to hear that she is such a horrible state, but at least she made it home so she could be taken care of! Insurance is such a blessing! Hope everything goes well and she makes it out ok. Thoughts and prayers for you all! *hugs* Jen
from spring-da1sy :
The poor dear! I'm so glad she came home to you, and I hope she fares well. We have a cat who had a leg amputated many years ago, and she does just fine getting around.
from yelayna :
Oh honey - I'm so sorry to hear about your little one. Just back from hols and catching up - I do hope she gets better soon. love and hugs xxx
from allegedwife :
Your poor baby. I'll keep my fingers crossed for her.
from krugerpak007 :
Poor sweety pie! I am holding thumbs that she will recover just fine...Poor little thing..:-(( Thanks for everything last night, sorry if I made a total fool out of myself...aaaah..I am so sick today you can not believe!!! Take care and love you lots! xoxoxox
from anita-girl :
Oh my gosh your poor kitty!!!! I relaly hope that they do not have to amputate and that they can save her leg! What an amazing cat to make it home to you for help! She knew you would help!
from workcrush :
Awww....poor kitty. I'm glad you found her though...but poor poor baby. Hope she feels better soon. I will say even if they do have to amputate, I bet she'll still be the same happy loving kitty you know. My aunt had a cat with just three legs and he was a total sweetheart. Hugs, sweetie.
from thecrankyone :
Aww poor Chloe, I can't believe somebody ran over her and didn't stop to see if she needed help. Let's hope she makes a full recovery, having broken a few bones myself, I know how painful they can be.
from ahwell :
awww sorry to hear about your cat.. its so hard when they are injured..
from starlight42 :
Oh no! so sorry to hear about Chloe!! I hope they can save her leg and she's feeling better soon. Awww, you must have been a wreck finding her like that!
from x-plicity :
OH! The poor Kitty!!! I'm sending good vibes!

Oh, I hope everything goes ok. Poor kitty! Good luck sweetie!
from chakra-chick :
I'm so sorry that your kitty is gone AWOL-I hope you find her soon. Have fun with Matt on Thursday! ~smooches~
from allegedwife :
Hope you find your furbaby soon (Btw I looked under my bed and she isn't there so that's one place less to search :P )
from krugerpak007 :
Oy, I hope she is ok. I can not believe anyone can be so cruel to cats. That freaks me out. How can people harm such a beautiful creature. I don't understand that.I hope too that you are doing ok. I am sorry I have been such a complete stranger. I am impossible these days I know. Completely self-absorbed and confused and just plain impossible. I hope you understand and I hope you know how much I love you. Really. And Thursday is just round the corner. I am sure you will have a great time! xoxoxox
from spring-da1sy :
I hope she's safe and comes home soon. Anyone who would harm an animal should be tortured!
from realsnoopy :
You hit the nail on the "head" wish you would have used a hammer! LOL
from wench77 :
oh my gosh, that is so worrisome! I am so glad that Caleb is better. It is awful when our furrybabies are not doing well! Sounds like you have a GREAT vet!
from chakra-chick :
I'm so glad Caleb is OK...holding thumbs for Chloe! Have a lovely weekend dear. (((hugs)))
from spring-da1sy :
That's fantastic! There's nothing scarier than finding out others know you better than you know yourself. It's just great that you realized it in time to save the situation and accept it. I'm so glad for you.
from chakra-chick :
I'm so glad that the Matt situation is now cleared up...at least you know where you stand. And since you are happy with the 'arrangement'-I'm happy for you love! I wasn't sure how to thank you for the comment regarding my recent 'drama'...it meant more than the world to me-especially since you are someone who only knows me through here and the odd e-mail. Your words made me feel so much better-both about the situation and myself. You are definately like the big sister I nere had! ~smooches~ (((hugs)))
from amb1valent-k :
:-) xxx
from x-plicity :
Sounds exactly like the arrangement I had with my special friend. He lived 3 hours away as well. It really did turn out to be for the best. *hugs* X
from realsnoopy :
You sound surprised by all the things he said! Silly girl! You are all the things he said. If your ok with that arangement, go for it! Keep in mind though, you are a hell of a catch so don't ignore it if some hunk of a man looks your way!
from spring-da1sy :
Sorry I missed your b-day. Happy Belated. Hugs
from x-plicity :
There's someone out there waiting for you. Rejection is sometimes a reminder of that. *hugs* X
from realsnoopy :
I wish you could see what we see. You are beautiful.... inside and out! *hugs*
from mpeacock :
You have to beleive that it is not you. Men are dogs. it is a man thing. That is just the way it is. Did he ever explain why?
from mpeacock :
You have to beleive that it is not you. Men are dogs. it is a man thing. That is just the way it is. Did he ever explain why?
from krugerpak007 :
I wish you could see how beautiful and special you are. I love you to bits. And anyone that does not see that is just screwed up. Thats all I can say. Love you honey, please feel good and cheer up. You are very much loved. xoxox
from starlight42 :
i'm so sad he didn't text or call you! he'd better have a good excuse!! I'd think since you were so taken by him he must have felt the same. men are so dumb!! oh- and I DID get good Bon Jovi seats! They're up high, but close to the stage. yay!
from kitchenwitch :
hey dearie! Would you email me sometime? I have a question for you! (this is Joni)
from allegedwife :
That man needs a good arse-kicking. He can't recognise a treasure when he finds one. Wanker!
from thecrankyone :
Sometimes guys are just dicks and it has nothing to do with us, it doesn't matter how we look or what we do, or dont' do, or how old we are. They treat everybody that way, its not personal they are just immature idiots who don't think about others feelings (not that I've had experience with idiots or anything :) )
from workcrush :
Boys make no sense at all. As my beloved Anne (nilliem here) sez - Boys are dumb. Throw rocks. Happy (late) birthday, hon!!!
from krugerpak007 :
I hope Lola will be ok...thinking of you, please be in touch.xoxox
from wench77 :
wow, who knew! never seen that! cool! :D
from wench77 :
haha! Wanker bastardhead. Sorry I didn't realise it was your birthday. Happy belated birthday, and hope you had a great time! sorry bout your chloe, I hope she'll be fine. And how the heck do you take a urine sample of a cat? Mine go in the litter...?
from chakra-chick :
Sorry I missed wishing you on your birthday. Hope you had a good one - despite being let down by M. Have a wonderful weekend sweetie! ~smooches~
from realsnoopy :
Happy Birthday!! *kisses*
from mpeacock :
You deserve a VERY happy birthday! Take care. :)
from anita-girl :
Happy Birthday! Don't let "wanker head" ruin it for you! I hope that this year is great! In EVERY way! :>
from thecrankyone :
Happy (somewhat) late Birthday, hope you have a great time, inspite of Matt being a jerk!
from tigerlily21 :
Happy Birthday!!!
from second-love :
Happy Birthday sweetie - did i mention that men suck? :)
from x-plicity :
Happy Birthday!!!
from krugerpak007 :
Glad you have such supportive friends. Sorry I obviously haven't been..I hope you have an amazing birthday anyway. That you are spoilt, as you should be, as you would be if I was there. Take care.xoxox
from amb1valent-k :
Even from the 'male' perspective the party comment doesn't look good. Be careful pet, don't get hurt. xx
from chakra-chick :
(((hugs)))I'm the absolute last person to be giving advice on relationships. I do hope, though that it works out for you sweetie-you so deserve happiness and M seems great. You know I'm always here if you need me! ~smooches~
from amb1valent-k :
I see everyones helped you out on this already but my reaction was oh dear! this is easy, and youre making it complicated. Believe me Matt has NOT been dissecting and examining the nuances of what youve said to each other. His thoughts have been: Oopsdouble bookeddont want to let her downbut Im not allowed to let the family downwhich one will be more understanding? Certainly not the familyI know Ive got a future with Ava so weve got lots more weekends togetherwhats this? Do you want to end it?where did THAT come from? No of course I dont want to end it Your friends here are right men dont do games and subtlety. Believe me if all he wanted from you was a quick-fumble and let-you-go hed have found a way to fit that in because he might lose the chance. Its because he thinks thisll last that he feels he can let you down.
from second-love :
Man... everyone here is right... X, Ava and the most recent... from what i can figure - men ARE very simple and direct. WE are the ones that convolute the situation and make it harder than it really is *sigh*... i hate being a woman sometimes.
from lillymoon :
Men are very simple. Simple. They do not play the games we think they play. We are the ones that drive ourselves crazy trying to figure them out. Simple. I obsess just like the next woman but a guy JT76 here on DL suggested I read a book that has changed my life. Really, no longer do I sit at home and wonder why. When I 1st got it I thought it was stupid. But then I read it over and over again and finally it sunk in. it is called "Maybe he's just not that into you." You gotta read it! It really really made sense. Good Luck. Love Ya MORE and I know I do cause you haven't shown any love to my diary! : ( Have you forgotten about little ole me?
from x-plicity :
Do you know what Mike once told me? Men are stupid. You have to be very direct with us. If you dont like something, tell us. If you expect something, tell us. If you find something unacceptable, TELL US. I dont know if that will help. Love you! *hugs* X
from realsnoopy :
I hate when men act like that! You never know, sometimes thats their way of seeing if YOUR interested. "rolling eyes* Anyway, I hope it works out the way you want it to.
from starlight42 :
that stinks, there's no way he can meet you for a bit on your birthday? what is the actual date by the way? mine is Oct. 7th! Well, in case I forget- have a super birthday. I am sure Matt will call or text. If not, he's a jerk, but I'm sure he will!
from krugerpak007 :
I love you lots and wish you only only good things. You so deserve it. And you are a life saver to me and I so appreciate you. xoxox
from catz-eyes :
=) only too happy to be of some help to you cherub. any time you feel the need for some info on what the male perspective *may be*, dont hesitate to ask, as am lucky enough to have (a) been born male and being possessed of all the foibles that go with that gender, and (b) dated guys, especially bi guys who (generally) think/react more like hetero guys than gay guys ;) ***HUGGLES*** =^..^= xo
from catz-eyes :
hey cherub :) have to agree with lillymoon - appearing quiet, reserved is indeed how 99% of guys deal with such things - they're a very different species to girlies. am so happy you had such a wonderful 24 hours@ so wonderful to hear that Love is in the air! =) ***HUGGLES*** =^..^=
from lillymoon :
Him being distant and reserved maybe due to the fact he did not want you to go. Guys react different, you know! Us girls burst into tears while guys suck it up and try to be as emotionalless as possible.
from second-love :
I am just so so happy for you. Really... i cant convey how lovely it is to have you so happy. Just wanted you to know that im still reading a few of my bestest buds and plan on doing that for some time. Im finding it extremely difficult (as always) so remove myself from here. I just hope you know that i am thrilled for you and wish you ever happiness! XX000
from lillymoon :
9/22 OMG I was gonna comment on how beautiful you are then I read about the baby and I was aghast. My co worker ran over to see why I gasped. Then they read the caption under the photo or the baby Prince Harry is holding. : ( But you are still beautiful and I am happy for you in a little Love Adventure. Oh yeah and Yay for Andrew! I didn't see the banner but thank goodness you did and made the damn thing go away.
from realsnoopy :
Nope, I just checked and I'm not in your favorites yet! *pouting and whining*
from x-plicity :
You are BEAUTIFUL!!!!
from starlight42 :
I am so excited to read about your vacation!! Your picture looked lovely, which must be why you have all these men after you ;) It sounds and looks like you had a good time- you so deserve it! I can't wait to hear more about Matt.
from spring-da1sy :
Girl, it was hard to contain myself when I read your entry! I am so happy for you! If I wasn't at work, I'd have jumped up and applauded your happiness! As for that tasteless banner, I'm sorry there are people like that in this world, Hon. Kudos to Andrew for taking quick action!
from justmouse :
i have to agree...you really are gorgeous...not like i haven't told you that a billion times before *rolls eyes*.
from allegedwife :
How is it that you look like that and aren't beating men off with a stick....my god, girl, you're gorgeous. As for the bad taste banner.....glad Andrew jumped on it quickly and I'm glad I didn't see it. I wouldn't have politely emailed Andrew....I would have followed the link and shat directly on the diarist responsible. xxxxxxx Fi
from mpeacock :
You are one gorgeous woman!!! My gawd woman!
from realsnoopy :
Are you kidding me??? You are beautiful!!!!!!!
from krugerpak007 :
I am so so happy for you sweety... I want you to be happy and spoilt and loved because you so so deserve it.Thanks for everything. I love you and only wish you lived closer. xoxox
from diablogem :
I saw that banner a couple of times too, and just thought it was below the belt! Well done on getting it removed and hurrah for Andrew!! Things have been getting better round here lately - he even updates the news every few hours, which is great! D-land is on the up again! And YAAAAYY for you going to see your very own Mr Hunky : ) have a WONDERFUL time - ooooh it's so romantic and exciting : ) : ) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ And by the way, you are an absolutely stunning woman - I don't think ANY of us are ever the size that we want to be, but you know what? Men love the variety! And not only that, you rock too! : ) loads of love and *hugs* gem xx
from second-love :
I'm so happy for you. Unbelievably happy.

from lostmystic76 :
Awww! So sweet and very true. Funny thing though...as soon as I read it, I had this vision of driving down the road and seeing all these vibrators mowing lawns - HA!
from mpeacock :
YOur daughter is a gift. Perfect, cute cuddly, wonderful!
from starlight42 :
That's the best entry ever!! You DO have the perfect partner! :)
from realsnoopy :
I added you to my favorites if you don't mind?
from realsnoopy :
Beautiful :)
from hissandtell :
Oh, darling - that was such a beautiful humorously moving testimonial to your lovely daughter - in fact I have a little tear. You two have such a wonderful relationship; I admire your mothering skills (and her daughtering skills!) so very much. Love, R xxx
from x-plicity :
You have such a wonderful relationship with your daughter. It almost makes my ovaries twinge...but only just a little. *hugs* X
from amb1valent-k :
Nice! But...there still could be a male partner who could achieve all that. xx
from x-plicity :
The contrasting elements of the note you left me just cracked me up! I actually laughed out loud and got the attention of my boss. LOL
from workcrush :
Ah, you did get both of me, how clever! You're welcome, I just don't know how I missed adding you for so long. We've got several reads in common so I've seen you all over the place.
from furiouspuppy :
I'm coping....thanks so much for the support. *hugs back*
from diablogem :
We are lucky to live in a country with relatively few major weather incidents - this hurricane is evil! Good luck with the list writing : ) *hugs* gem xx
from spring-da1sy :
It's not your fault at all. Accidents can happen to anyone. He probably was a very loving pet owner. He showed poor judgment in the end, but we can hope that the time they spent together was pleasant.
from x-plicity :
Oh...how sad. *hugs* X
from yelayna :
It wasn't us, but good lord above I could have strangled them. If you want to announce to the street that you are 42, not 21, or 16, then perhaps you should act like it and have a bit of decorum! They were hitting cars and all sorts precariously close to mine and in my sleepy haze at 3am I was most distressed and half up for sending laurence down to protect my car!!! Will add you to msn and speak soon! :o) xxx
from chakra-chick :
I'm so sorry sweetie! Thats so irresponsible of him...you can't blame yourself dear.
from vickithecute :
Oh, OH! That's awful. I'm so so sorry. Poor Jake. But don't blame yourself. You didn't do this.
from themoodswing :
Thanks for your note. We haven't heard a peep from the neighbours since, and funnily enough they've been letting Sasha inside more and I even saw one of them taking her for a walk the other day. I nearly died of shock :)
from yelayna :
oh honey bee, I'm so sorry to hear that. Like the others have said though, Its clearly not your fault. So don't feel guilty. You weren't you know this sort of thing would happen. lots of love and hugs and shiny thoughts xxx
from krugerpak007 :
Oy shame..That is so so sad. :-((( My heart aches..and its definitely not your falt. You tried to find him a home and who would have ever thought that could happen. Please don't blame yourself. I understand that you feel bad, but its not you. May he rest in peace the little cutie..:-((( Take care and stop blaming yourself. xoxox
from second-love :
awwww im beside myself with sadness... what a sweet, sweet boy... im so sorry :(
from mpeacock :
Don't think for one moment it's your fault. The friend should not have told you. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
from starlight42 :
oh no!! that's horrible!!! what a moron! don't think it's your fault though, you couldn't have known, and you needed to find him a home. awww, how sad. :(
from diablogem :
Oh hon, I feel so sorry for Jake - there are so many people in this country that should not be allowed animals, and I refuse to apologise for feeling that way, just some people DO NOT deserve to look animals. The good thing is that Jake is in a better place now, so don't feel bad - you looked after him during a time that no-one else did, honey, but I'm so sorry. I hope that you feel OK soon, *hugs* gem xx
from life-my-way :
I'm so sorry about Jake! I'm sick about it too, for what it's worth. Don't blame yourself.
from krugerpak007 :
You should definitely have left your number for Igor!!!If I was there I would have made you! Maybe they will be there next week. If so, no excuses! Sending good thoughts your way for the nose ring. I loved mine when I had it. I just had it done at a stupid time when I suffered from sinus and allergies, and everytime I sneezed, I had everyone on the floor trying to find the ring..xoxoxo
from lillymoon :
ELLO LUV! Here I am as quiet as a mouse reading your entires and then I see half naked boys and I let out a little WOOHOO and my co-worker are now wondering whta I am up to. HEHEHE. Thanks For making my day!
from catz-eyes :
hehehe i'm with K - you gotta go back and see Eeeeeegor =) and leave your phone number, damnit! sending many MANY good thoughts your way cherub ;) ***HUGGLES*** =^..^=
from spring-da1sy :
Girl-you will regret not leaving your number for the rest of your life! Okay-maybe just the rest of the week, but still...don't pass up opportunities like that. I was reading along, not allowing myself to skip to the bottom, thoroughly convinced Green Shorts Man spent the night with you, but noooooo. Aahhhh, the disappointment! Hahahaha Definitely sending good thoughts your way. I hope your piercing stays healthy. Hugs
from mpeacock :
I like Green shorts fantasy!
from diablogem :

from diablogem :
HUBBA HUBBA HUBBA!!!!!! My Christ, woman!! You seem to have pooled all the fabulously fantastic-looking foreign men....mmmm...Personally, I have a thing for Italians.....mmmmmmmmmm, Italians.......*goes off in search of sex toys* lololol!!! *hugs* gem xx
from cornflake1 :
ROWR!! Look at those torsos! :D Glad you had a good time. K's new haircut suits her, she looks so grown up!
from starlight42 :
wow! look at those men!!
from lostmystic76 :
Woo hoo! It's raining men! Now that's what I'm talking about! Hahahaha! NICE!
from mom2kendall :
Rawr! Makes me want to go on a picnic myself ;-)
from allegedwife :
much better sight than the usual duckage (love that word btw). thanks for sharing :)
from spring-da1sy :
Half-naked foreign men! Just what the doctor ordered! Sounds like someone is feeling a tad better. Hugs
from mpeacock :
Just a wellness check up for Mo, don't worry. I hope all is well with you. :)
from spring-da1sy :
Sorry you're feeling down. I know how that goes. The better times will roll around, and hopefully in time for your trip. Try to feel better. Hugs
from chakra-chick :
I'm so sorry that you are down sweetie...if you don't want to elaborate here, then drop me an e-mail - I'm always ready to listen/read your venting! Thanks so much for all the lovely comments and mostly-for your support with yet another speedbump in my life...you are a diamond sweetie. Hope you feel better soon. ~smooches~
from second-love :
I absolutely DESPISE those "down times"... when its difficult to be around yourself!!! Well, if nothing else... you can know that "this too shall pass". And i say "write about it!!" It IS your diary and you should be able to drone on all you want... God knows I DO hahahahahhahaha. Hang in there hon and have a great holiday! xxxooo
from diablogem :
Sorry to hear you're feeling down, I hope that you feel happier soon and I hope the holiday helps! And K's bike looks SOOOOO cool! I want one!!!!!! *hugs* gem xx PS Thanks ever so much for the lovely notes you've left me : )
from yelayna :
We're looking forward to it lots: hope you have a good time too!
from smedindy :
I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter and while I'm not violent I would get postal on someone playing grab-ass with my Katie. Just saw your site - hello!
from x-plicity :
I LOVE your dolls!!! They are so cute!!! Could you make me an X doll?! Please?
from thecrankyone :
As a mother I agree, I certainly would be a bit upset if someone I barely knew started touching my son's ass. Sounds like she is socially disadvantaged and doesn't know how to relate to people, but that is no excuse. I feel sorry for her, she probably doesn't understand why she turns people off.
from krugerpak007 :
Your dolls are beautiful!!!! I just saw them from the link at X. Hey I want a doll! Gosh you guys are great! xoxox
from krugerpak007 :
What a weird woman! Shame poor K. Glad you guys enjoyed the movie. I am waiting for it here..Have a good weekend. xoxox
from diablogem :
EUUUUURRRGGGHHH!! What a FREAKY-pants-wonder-WEIRDO!! Talk about a person who deserves a fucking punch!! That's just plain MINGING!!! *shudders* Some people really do NOT understand how far "help" should really go! Ick! Anyway, I'm really glad that you enjoyed Herbie - I only saw Mean Girls the other day (which is, by the way, frigging HYSTERICAL!!) - the last time I saw Lyndsey Lohan before that was in the Parent Trap, haha!! Hope you're well *hugs* gem xx
from x-plicity :
Wow...I would have freaked if a weird person were to stroke my ass.
from yelayna :
Yup, that's the one! We thought the police were just there becasue tehre was a big match on, but obviously not... I got trapped in Dinton Pastures once, that was a bit of an evening like yours!!!
from krugerpak007 :
Adorable! You made me grin! xoxox
from diablogem :
Awwwww, what a cute story :D - and HELL yes, we've ALL been there!! Back in the days when we still lived with our parents and the only place we could get any "private" time was in a car parked up at night in some salubrious area, lol!! Mine was the back of the Toys R Us car park - of ALL places, lol! *hugs* gem xx
from x-plicity :
Love you!!
from starlight42 :
I get so annoyed with parents that can't "parent" or discipline as well! Man, I hope I can do much better when the time comes! We'll probably be TOO strict.
from amb1valent-k :
S'OK -you don't need to make an exception for me! :-) I see the Police found another way of arresting the real suspects other than blowing their heads off! Once you get someone in custody you have a chance of getting them to tell you things you might want to know! You're right - it's funny how we can see things so differently. Probably shouldn't have either of us on a jury though eh? x
from justmouse :
but i DO believe in faeries! i DO! and if no one rescues the lost boys...how will they find their way home? and if i'm not wendy...who AM i??
from bedeleanne :
hehe re the politics. :D And yeah, the meat is putrid the FIRST day here, in the hot sun. urk. As for a sign, that is sort of why I took the photos. So I could stick one up (though not sure where, since it is asphalt and there isnt a fence or wall right nearby) to show how disgusting and full of flies it gets... maybe they'll realise then. BTW I sent you an email with the link to my adoption blog.
from krugerpak007 :
I agree you have to update more! I miss you. I hope K is ok after that nasty sounding blood test. What a sweety, I want to just give her a massive hug! I am dying to see that movie. It came out also here this weekend and I hope to see it this week.. Anyway hon, I hope YOU are ok. And doing ok. I hope to talk to you soon. Love you lots. xoxox
from wench77 :
AGH forgot the link! http://adoptingemma.blogspot.com/
from wench77 :
hey there! You might or might not want to check out this blog about a family who adopted a little girl... they have a little 8 yr old Down's boy named Gabriel... if you look down the photos and read about the adoption there are some wonderful photos of him with his sister, and things about when he got his new baby sister. It is quite funny and sweet and he is such a cute kid. cheers! wenchie
from ahwell :
oh dont worry. i would never get married again, and i honestly dont even want to live with anyone. cliff knows that, and says he has no problem with me having freedom, just as long as i am honest with him. i dont need him for financial support, just for comfort. well, maybe a little sex here and there wouldnt hurt..... lol
from vanoonoo :
I'm doing ok actually - grim determination I think - a real case of not letting the buggers get me down!
from yelayna :
Thank you for your note. I feel a bit better today - I think I've just been having a bit of a bad patch! I did explain that was happier with him, but you know how it is. I can see his point of veiw, I not over keen on continually meeting his exes!!! xxx
from amb1valent-k :
Ah - you see they're not so bad those socialist when you get to know them...and those Geordies...and those Scots...and... :-) love you too xx
from life-my-way :
I've lost my Avalonte password. IF I ever had it. Which I think I did. But now I don't. But if you'd send it to me, then I would. And that, of course, would be good. ps the Pics of K and Finley were PRECIOUS!
from starlight42 :
I don't have the pw for avalonte. can you send it my way? glad you're well, I read about the bombings a few hrs ago.
from spring-da1sy :
Yikes-that does sound like a sticky one, but you handled it very well. I don't blame you for embellishing one bit. If the ex can lie over such serious matters, you can certainly tell one about something that has no repercussions and hurts no one. Hugs
from diablogem :
Ooooh, that sounded like a buttock-clenchingly uncomfortable moment, and well done for putting her straight and sticking to your guns, sweets, *hugs* gem xx
from catz-eyes :
woa! what a small world, eh cherub? still, think you handled the sitatuon pretty darn well - porkies and all ;) ***HUGGLES*** =^..^=
from allegedwife :
If you wanted confirmation that it is best not to have The Wanker in K's life.....you just got it in spades. What an arse.
from amb1valent-k :
The point is C - it IS all in the past. He lied to them and you shouldn't be surprised about that but as K's relatives they all had a responsibility to her that they shirked. It was the easy option to believe you wanted no contact and they took it without deigning to come near you. Almost as culpable as him, and not worthy of you getting stressed about. Although I can well understand the shock you went through. But just maybe, with autism in her family, Shirley may be a little more understanding of what you have?
from thecrankyone :
Sheesh what a turd.. had to lie to make himself look better and get back at you at the same time, how evil..
from diablogem :
What a total pain in the arse - even if she had told all the kid's mum's at school she should've bloody well double checked it by giving everyone a quick phonecall just for the sake of courtesy! Some people, ay!? Hope that the little 'un is feeling better now though : ) *hugs* gem xx
from spring-da1sy :
Well that really stinks about dance class. Poor K. Sometimes people don't stop to think how one little detail can make so much difference. Hope K and you enjoy your visit with the Kerry & the sexy man!
from krugerpak007 :
Hey sweety...your Avalonte password is suddenly not saved on my computer anymore..Can you please send it to me again? Hope you are doing well today, and I hope to speak to you a bit later! Love you! xoxox Me
from mpeacock :
Missed you. Whatever it was that stressed, besides the dance teacher, I hope all gets better. I hate game playing too.
from lostmystic76 :
Ahhh! Your comments are gone! Or did I just miss something? I probably missed something - lol. Ok, so back to my comment - lol. I would have been pissed as well. It's not that hard to pick up a phone and dial. Jeese.
from thecrankyone :
I hate it when people are thoughtless and can be bothered to pass on simple information. I agree it shouldn't have required a mensa IQ for her to figure out it might have been a good idea to at least give you a phone call a fews days ahead of time. Thoughtless people piss me off.
from vanoonoo :
mailed you mailed you mailed you :)
from diablogem :
Gorgeous pictures!! And I'm glad that the war wound is healing up - glad you went to the docs! As for the holiday, it sounds great - Weymouth is only an hour or so away from me, and it's a great place to go - can't say I know too much about that particular holiday park, but I know people who've been to Haven before and thought it was great! Hope it all works out! *hugs* gem xx
from starlight42 :
awww! the dog is so cute, that look on his face as if he wants to get up there!
from mom2kendall :
Thanks so much for the anti-biotic/murmur info!! The dipsticks at the dentist's office put a "medical" sticker on her chart because of her murmur. Guess I'll have to deal with them when she goes back in January LOL I'm confident that the cardiologist knows best when it comes to the heart ;-) BTW, how is your hand??
from krugerpak007 :
That vacation looks awsome... Wish I could come with you guys... Love the photos but the ones I received are nicer of course-yay! Tried to get hold of you...hope to catch you online later. Love you guys! Me
from chakra-chick :
Glad that you are feeling better sweetie...looks like K and Finlay were having quite a lovely time at the park. Waiting in anticipation for the 'Dave' entry... Hope you have a lovely day further dear. ~smooches~
from yelayna :
I used to play there when I used to stay at my grandmas! glad your hand is feeling better. *hugs*
from allegedwife :
Glad you're on the mend. Your day in the park looked like great fun ..... how could you NOT take that big hairy cutey on holidays with you......he is K's best mate!
from vickithecute :
Ah, no worries about HP spoilers from me. Although I am more than a little bit afraid to read any diaries until I finish it. I'll just have to hole myself up in a corner until I'm done reading so I don't get spoiled. (I got spoiled on the last one and it ruined it for me. I couldn't even shed a tear)
from starlight42 :
your note really made me laugh! esp. when you said, awww, bless! :) No, i don't talk to my mom at all about sex, ever! I'm not sure what she was thinking, but I know her being Catholic that she WISHES I had waited until marriage for sex. Come on though, I'll be 30 in Oct! Have a good weekend!
from wench77 :
Just read your second comment! hahahahaha! I can't have dinner or work for an hour without guilt (should I be eating something else, should I be vegan, should I be not looking at my email, should I be doing the dishes, should I be working faster)... so I would hardly expect to not have guilt left right and center. I feel guilty that I haven't provided my dog with a child, and she's just a dog, and doesn't even KNOW that I planned for her to play with a child, instead of lying in the hall while I work on the computer, waiting for her next walk. I am sure I am going to be plagued by guilt like a tidal wave. The whole point of the exercises is to make the expectations out loud, so that they can be conscious and the guilt talked down. Realizing that the expectations are too high, unrealisable. Normal, perhaps even necessary in order to WANT to be a parent, but totally impractical. cheers!
from wench77 :
of course they are! They are not the realistic happenings. They are the things that when they don't happen you have a negative reaction. One ends up dealing with a child who needs special ed. But it is something the parent will have to deal with, since it is seldom one's expectation or hope to end up with a child that needs special ed. non? :D I know my mom had expectations that her children would get along. I always, as her child, thought that was hilarious. But even if everything in her experience pointed to us fighting like cats and dogs, she continued to be sad or look frustrated when it happened yet again. To me that points to an unspoken expectation. Not a realistic one, but one that is ingrained or wished or hoped. That family outings be fun and laughter, not kids trying to poke eachother's eyes out and scream "i hate you I hate you" haha! :D
from diablogem :
*winces* hon, that looks pretty evil! I hope that you manage to recover soon - cat scratches are the worst, just as irritating as paper cuts, but more bastard painful! And, as ever, you are SO right about the bombing incident - I swear to GOD that Tone and I said the same things (including the madatory swearing!)...Hey, here's a idea - fancy running for PM with me - we'd sort this bastard country out, lol!! *hugs* gem xx
from chakra-chick :
Hi sweetie! Glad you decided to update again...I missed you stacks. I'm sorry about your scatched-up fingers...hope you feel better soon. Look out for an e-mail from me during the day... ~smooches~
from wench77 :
OK there girlie. There may be no antibiotics for apathy, but there sure the hell are for cat bite bacteria. Believe me, I got bit on the hand like that from a cat once, and it swelled up and I couldn't move my fingers like you said and a day later there was pain up my whole arm and I could only move my pinkie. One dr. appt later I was weighted down in antibotic pills to take for ten days (yup, bacteria from little kitty teeth) and my hand came back. Get thee hence! And about the "born and raised here", well yup, most people who do things are... in the US there was the colombine school shootings, the Oklahoma bombings, Waco Texas etc etc. It seems all the bloodbath during the french revolution was done by french people, not by illegal immigrants, and same with most massacres from Rawanda to Bosnia. There is always a tendency to want to say "keep those bad people out" but the bad people are just part of the deal for everyone, in our countries, our cities, our families. hmmm. aggression, violence, distorted thinking know no boundaries and respect no ethical guidelines. pity! hugs, and I expect to read tomorrow you've been to the pharmacy for that finger. hah!
from hissandtell :
Well, I'm glad to hear from you in any capacity, darling - but I am sorry about your poor finger. Hope things lighten up for you soon. Love, R xxx
from lillymoon :
You guys get Free health care out there???? Man oh man If only..... I totally understand about the apathy towards the internet and blogging. I have hardly updated but I have more things going on than before but to sit there and write about it is eeeeeehhhh. Well good luck with the finger! Go use the health care you'all get : ) Give K a hug from me and my son for being K. Take care!
from starlight42 :
Ouch!! I've been injured enough by kitties to know they can do some real damage! Hope your finger gets better soon.
from vanoonoo :
hiya - here's another call for an infection and a check that your tetanus is up todate :) xxx get it checked out
from cornflake1 :
Ouch, your poor finger!! Hope it gets better soon! Yeah, you could well have an infection - can you go to the doctor and get antibiotics for it? They've been working a treat with my foot infection, it's almost completely gone now. My dog once got attacked by a cat, too... it was a really evil cat though, that attacked anything that moved. It was particularly fond of hiding behind the door and then jumping out and biting people's ankles. Chrissie ended up with a split ear from the attack, poor sweetie... she was OK though, I think her pride was hurt more than anything else ;). Glad you and K are doing alright otherwise. Much love xx
from mpeacock :
I have been so busy I just heard the news. I am glad you're ok.
from squirrelrat :
Glad and relieved to read that you and K are fine!
from sleepyzoe :
So happy to hear you're ok...since we just moved, I didn't have internet access the past couple days. I wasn't able to get online to check on you! And, that sketch is one of my favorites of all time! :) xoxo
from lillymoon :
Glad your ok. Your too funny with your Monty Python entry! I have been hear just a silent observer. I actually need to do some catching up. Too much has been going on to blog about. But I'mm gonna need to write soon cause I am getting heavy in my brain with all my stuff needing to be blogged about. LOL Again good to know you and K and alright and your loved ones too. XOXOXOXO
from amb1valent-k :
Ah! I see you took the 'we're used to it' line too. We just are aren't we? xx
from thecrankyone :
I heard about the attacks in London. I am hoping you and K* and the rest of your family and friends are all okay. My prayers and best wishes to you all. I wish this madness would just end already!!
from amb1valent-k :
Hope you're not caught up in this at all xx
from mom2kendall :
I've seen "Windtalkers" and "We Were Soldiers." Good movies! LOVE Damian Lewis after seeing BoB. Did you see him in "Dreamcatcher"? Hated the movie but worth it just to see him pull off Jonesy/Mr. Gray LOL And thanks for the boost of confidence about turning 30. Pretty sure there are no 17 y.o's in my future but it's good to know there are things to look forward to LOL!!
from yelayna :

from mom2kendall :
Heh! Me again... My Dad is doing really well now. Thanks for asking! He's had 4 chemo treatments and they haven't even made him sick. The dr. said he couldn't find the nodes that were on his neck before and his blood counts are all returning to normal. Soooo it looks like it's going into remission! Since he had hodgkins and lymphoma both though we just have to wait and see when he's done w/ these treatments. Apparently whatever they're giving him only works on one and not the other? Not sure but he feels really good now!!
from mom2kendall :
LOL I went looking for a BoB ring this morning and found yours! DLand was doing hokey things and wouldn't let me update my rings page so I had to blow it up and start over *rolling eyes* I have ep. 7-10 of BoB on video and it's about worn out! So I finally broke down and ordered the dvd set. I found it for $79.99 at Amazon.com and figured I may as well grab it now. And I am so going to get my money's worth out of it LMAO!!
from yelayna :
Hello! Saw this on a banner today and made me think of you... http://vickithecute.diaryland.com/050626_65.html Hope you had a good weekend - sorry to hear about the bird, not sure I'd of had the guts to do that! xxx
from yelayna :
I think that the girl at teh very beginning is called Marley Shelton. um... she's here http://victoriawinters.net/sheltonsincity.jpg that's not a very good picture, but it's the only one I can find of her looking like I imagined! Feeling a bit better today, did all the things I didn't expect and came out ok. I feel bad when I have feel rubbish, I think becasue I get tired of my *searching for a way to describe this* fleshy friends moaning on at me when tehre is nothing really wrong, so when I start I get annoyed with myself! It's different on here though becasue everyone is sharing their diaries... And it's my choice to read. I can chose not to read if I wanted. Plus at least on here I get my time to be moan too whereas with my "friends" I tend to be there for them and not vice versa in the main. I think I'm rambling badly now, but I know what you mean about getting wound up about grammatical errors. I have a thing for punctuation. I try very hard to get things right, but I don't always pay enough attention! Dorothy's smelled gorgeous on the way past last night, almost enough to make my fall off my diet wagon! Must... Stop... Typing.... :o) xxx

awww chick i wasnt talking about you, a few people left really long notes in my notes page all about how he is guilty, how could i still be a fan when he is a child molester, blah blah blah, and it really pissed me off, because i am probably being a bit over sensitive at the mo! you werent part of that comment at all! i was really pleased that you text me saying you were pleased!
from chakra-chick :
Sweetie, where art thou'? I miss you... ~smooches~
from betchy :
hi, thanks for the comment, i hope this lets me leave a note i just tried comments and it didnt work. i spoke to Cliff just after i posted that entry and she said my Granddad took her to the vets earlier but he brought her home again with some tablets. but apparently she is in pain now. Granddad is going to see what she is like tonight, and if it looks like she is suffering, he will probably take her back tomorrow. its just happened so quickly, i thought she had a few months at least. its so horrible, my Nan and Granddad cant stop crying, they are both in a right state. i feel sad too, because i love Katie, but i am more sad for them. thats why i dont want to see her, because i dont want to upset them more, and i know if i see her i will break down. as for my sisters i really dont know. i am going to have to think long and hard about this. sorry i didnt reply to your text on Sat, but i'm out of credit again (suprise). has Leo come back yet? is Caleb better now? talk to you soon babe x

from diablogem :
Thank you so much for all the support and the congrats - I'm really pleased I got that grade (and if I'm perfectly honest I think I DID deserve it - that doesn't sound like I'm so far up my own arse I can tickle my lungs with my tongue does it? lol!), but thanks, and thanks for the keys the other day - this is the first day I've been able to just sit down and sort some stuff out, so thanks for everything honey, *hugs* gem xx
from second-love :
*sigh* exactly. For the last 2 years all ive heard out of him over and over is "how much time he gives me and how he IS there everyday". Its amazing to me how much he and Dave are alike! It MUST be a "guy" thing. Im just truly terrified of going through my life without him in it even in the smallest way. I'm in a constant battle within myself about which is a worse sentence. The last few days have been SO dull, SO empty. And i know him... he will grow tired of my unhappiness and discontent despite all his "caring" and "being there" (so he thinks)... and he will begin to move away from me thinking it for the "best" for ME. I know he has enjoyed my attention and complete devotion, but despite his recent "awakening" to some of my motives for what i have done, he cant realize that all i need him to do is really just CHOOSE me over all his doubts and need for "doing whats right". *sigh*... it'll never happen. Thank you sweetie for being there. I know you understand me completely - and i truly DO hope that one day Dave wakes up and realizes what he is missing. *hugs*

I love "A Walk To Remember", Have you seen The Notebook? It's written by the same author as A Walk To Remember and Message In A Bottle. I have to say out of the three, The Notebook is the best! I love your diary by the way. It's really interesting and I can't wait to read more. Love, Hayli
from wench77 :
Ahhh, a child with one leg yes. The major problem is actually Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. I think my parents adopted one with FAS and one with FAE and the one with FAS they couldn't deal with, even being a couple. Tried for five years. Gave her up. I don't think Kazakhstan is open for Quebec (or there isn't a program), Romania I believe is closed now, Russia is a maybe... big worry of FAS (though in the Ukraine there is too). I was suggested Albania tonight by another Canadian who adopted from Ukraine... it is Muslim so apparently very little FAS... but again, it seems that Canada is registered but not Quebec (it is all very complicated in that Quebec has a deal within Canada to be completely in charge of immigration to Quebec... the rules are not at all the same). As for differently abled kids... ALL kids from orphanages are differently abled... they are at least as challenged or more so than K... attachment problems, malnutrition, developmental problems, emotional problems. They are considered post-institutional special needs. Every last one. The list of challenges goes on and on. But yeah, every single adoption from those countries encompasses "correctable minor disabilities" which can be anything from a cleft palate, heart murmur, need eye operation etc. What they consider "disabled" is actually not missing a leg as much as schizophrenia, FAS, HIV. ie noncurable lifelong things. And as a self-employed single woman with no health insurance beyond the state, with no family within 3000 miles, no boyfriend, no close friends within 20 minutes and no car without reserving one (which often cannot be done on moment's notice), I think I would be biting off a bit more than I could chew. It wouldn't be fair to the child to be uprooted to come live with someone who ended up in a broke unemployed depressive fit. yikes.

Its so true... we are the only ones amongst a few of us on here that have had a long time love for somebody that has spanned YEARS - and never had the chance to fully see what life would be like if we got to TAKE that chance. I do always try to be aware of the "grass is always greener" saying. And as the pastor said at my church this weekend... "the grass is always greener on the neighbors side - but you might just find out its painted concrete!!!" Sooooooooooooo true. But really... im not even asking for a LIFE with him at this point - but just the caring and the love without all the hesitancy and guilt. Pipe dream, im sure - but something i want nonetheless. And at least you dont have a hubby on your end to consider. I DO struggle with the love i have for John and our family - and i dont want to goof that up. The kids would be DEVASTATED. Often i think if i cant get out of this for me, i need to do it for them. I dont know. So you took a whole YEAR for decision making??? Hows that going??*grin* - let me know if you figure out what the heck WE should do hahahahahaha *hugs*
from second-love :
Oh thank GOD for you!!! You always know just what to say to make me feel NOT crazy!! And i always know you understand what im feeling perfectly! Im just so sick of him saying "you sound GREAAAAAAAAT, im so glad you are doing good..." pfffffffff yeah RIGHT. Get a clue. Just because you are on an all expenses paid trip to paradise doesnt mean IM DOING GREAAAAAAAAAT. Not to mention any OTHER time in my life right now whether he is there or not. *sigh* - will they EVER get a clue??? *hugs*

Thanks for the note luv- and thanks to you, I now know where I stand with my boy! It's a huge relief to finally know. I was actually going to feature 'Heath Ledger', but I didn't have a good picture of him - I promise I will feature one of yours very soon. I think that I just really enjoyed Robin Williams in "Robots'. He's one of my favourite actors, so I always enjoy any movie he stars in. By the way, I loved the story you posted about your past on Friday - it should definately become a weekly ritual! And that rude woman staring at K...good on you for handling it the way you did. Yeah- this tongue ring is definately becoming a bit of an annoyance - the only reason I still have it is because ad-hoc guy says it feels brilliant when I kiss him! Again, thanks so much for your support and advice. ~smooches~

ah, just caught up with all your tales from while i was away. can you guess which way i voted? i will give you a clue. we had a big discussion about it once and were both pleased to find we shared the same feelings!! nearly all of Weston voted the same way! loved the tale about your young days, you little bless! i did not like the story about the woman staring at K. how fucking rude!!! you handled it with dignity and poise as ever though. anyway, i will talk to you soon honey. love you x

hi cherub :) yes indeedy, Val did play Bea Smith. and yes, Vinegar Tits WAS scary! and remember Jock, the psycho 'screw' who killed Judy Bryant's lesbian lover?! he was scary, too! oh, it was such a cool show! despite its flaws ;) and yes, many of the cast were 'recycled' and popped up in other soapies, like Neighbours. and thank you for the kind wishes cherub :) xo's =^..^=

Oh, I had a Diet Coke this morning (my last one) I just don't have any now, but I will soon be off to get some!

You are lucky that at least you know Dave is unhappy. I am constantly knocked over the head (and heart) by Sam's continual declaration of undying love for K. I still wonder how much a man can love a wife that he goes out on (regardless of if he awknowledges it as that OR has sex...) At least i admit that the love i have for John is not the same kind of love that I have for Sam. It comfortable, familiar - but not as deep and not the same. Maybe im rationalizing???

Egads, I had no idea Shepherd owners dealt with that too. Yeah, "did you know how BIG she'd be when you got her as a puppy?". No, I am the only one in the effin world who thinks a St Bernard puppy will grow up to be the size of a shitzu. Jeesh. I buy a registered dog from purebred breeders, of course I know what size of dog and type of dog I'm getting. Purebred breeders won't even sell you a dog if you don't know the particularities of the breed and feel it is a good match for you. And of course I met both her parents (who were incredibly over friendly and wanted to lick me to death! slobber slobber!) when I went to get her. She was so cute. But yeah, I grew up with a Saint bernard from the ages of 6-17 so I think I know what a Saint Bernard is like for size and temperament. People are so idiotic and annoying. I mean when have I asked a chihuaha owner "did you know your chihuaha was going to be so SMALL when you got her as a puppy?" um, duh. Good luck with the idiots, and your lovely daughter and great dog!! cheers!

I'm glad you approve of Adam Levine! Thanks for the note sweetie, I really appreciate it. I'm still sick, but feel much better than I was yesterday. ~smooches~

You are so right and i hadnt even really thought of it that way... but what Sam and i do together really IS the intimate stuff. I dont think guys realize that. They are so dialed in to the sex act that they dont understand how much more intimate the sweet kisses and carresses are to us. Just the way he holds my face in his hands...i'd take that any day. *hugs*
from hamakosan :
you're such a sweetheart! as always!!! thank you so much for your kind, reassuring words and advice!
from betchy :
wow that is such a cool story "Hey Cliff, guess what, one of my friends came from nobility!!" ye ha!!!
from second-love :
Well.. i KNOW Sam would NEVER leave K EVER. Its NOT one of the delusions i have. And i dont really think i could leave John - although is given the opportunity to be with the one man ive loved my entire adult life... i dont know. But my original belief was that if K told him we could no longer even "be friends and hang out" he would have to give me up totally. This is what he ALWAYS told me. That we could only remain "friends" as long as K was "comfy with it" *gag*. So it was a surprise when he mentioned that he has grown so close and attached to me, that he doesnt know WHAT he would do if she "made him make a choice". At this point though, it is all pointless. Him and I are barely speaking right now. He got very upset at me yesterday and while we maintained a strained level of communication today... we are at a serious crossroads i think.
from yelayna :
Aww.. That's such a lovely story - It's the whole fairytale love thing that every girl dreams of. My Great Grandfather fell in love with my Great nans behind doing hte charleston. Not quite as romantic...
from second-love :
Thanks hon. I want to be more like YOU though! More independent and not looking for his every response. Sam and i are TOO entwined - even he admitted to me that he doesnt quite know how he WOULD be able to block me out of his life should K request it. He even SAID he might have to resort to the secrecy if that was the case. I just need to figure out a way to ease OUT of this madness... but another dland buddy said that this kind of addiction can only be cured cold turkey - and im afraid he is right *sigh*... thanks for the hugs and support
from yelayna :
I know... I did admit it though! I think some things are still kicking about from before that I will probably never quite get over. Or stop thinking like. Scrunchies are odd things - though my hair is not very thick, becasue it's so long, if I have it just tied back flat to my head I look a bit odd, so somewhere it needs to look a bit more bouncy and get more lift, which a wussy little towling/cotton covered jobbie just doesn't touch! I laughed at the idea of it eating three shredded wheat though! *giggle*

how cool is that....getting random e mails from people? i want random e mails from people...ones that arent about viagra!!!

Very perceptive! Yes -when I go back to Kent they think I sound Scottish; at home they think I sound like I come from Kent. i think you'd say I was a 'wee' bit Auld Reekie.
from chakra-chick :
Hi sweetie! I just wanted to thank you for all the wonderful comments you left me (as well as advice) over the past week. You are so right about the tongue ring - I too cannot stop playing with it! Thank goodness no1 has noticed it...yet. But I'm going to put in a clear retainer next weekend- just to be safe! Hope your weekend is going well! ~smooches~

Thanks for the note, it was really nice to see someone actually reads my diary who isnt a friend or whatever. I was surprised by the similarities, especially little 'ole Ealing. Where was he from aand whatnot? Little things mean a lot to me right now, as was obvious with the polo story. So thats for being one of those things x x x x x
