While I don't know your whole story (just got here from libbyo's link), I know all too well what it is like to be overdue. It's terrible. Because even with as much as people say you shouldn't focus on a due date like it's an actual set holiday, you do. So when nothing is happening on said due date you feel a bit deflated. Like thinking it's December 24th all day long and waking up the next morning and having everybody say it's really not Christmas. ... I eventually had to be induced, but before that I was given cervadil (not sure on the spelling, but it sounded something like that) to soften my cervix because nothing was happening. My cervix was hard as a rock and not dilated one bit. If the cervadil stuff had not worked I would have had to have a c-section because pitocin does nothing if you're not already in the ways of labor. ... So basically, hang in there. I was induced just one day short of two weeks overdue (and I had to work until I went into the hospital!). Waiting is by far the hardest part especially with nine (ten) months of anticipation for your little one. While it's no fun waiting, the end result will be more than worth it.

I laughed when I read your little "boots" story. After of course, I learned that you were OKAY! But I can just see it all happening as if I were there, and hear the laugh that must have followed, and Joe's face of course! Oh boy do I miss you guys... I can't wait to see you in June and share everything! I agree with you totally on your opinion of war. Joe is a hero in our eyes too! I love you!

I'm glad you dumped the 3" boots. No need to topple over and break something. Elevate those legs when you're sitting. It helps.

Hmmm, I wish I could SEE YOU! I say we both take belly pics and swap them okay? I will take mine this week, you do the same. Anyway, lucky you, no Charlie horses up to this point! Ug! they keep me awake so often and seem to flare up after an especially good workout. OH and go check out this site www.pregnancytoday.com it is SOOOO good, I am starting a pregnancy diary there.
Anyway, Love you tons!

HI Hon!
Make sure that it isn't a regular yoga class but a prenatal yoga class you are going to. Regular instructors aren't usually trained to instruct pregnant women and it is a whole different ball game... hey! You could hurt yourself!

ARen't DR's offices just the worst?!! Guess what? You'll probably go through this experience many more times :) You asked about my missionary...he just returned from Hiroshima. I also have two others home. One from Wisconsin and the other from Bulgaria. I'm so glad I am done writing letters on Sunday nights.

Hi! I found you through Libbyo, too. I am 31 weeks pregnant as of today, myself. :) And I spent the day watching and feeling my stomach heave itself around! Isn't it amazing???

Andrea, hunny... I am SO, SO, SO sorry. Wow, I don't know what to say... you know that you and Joe will always be in our prayers. I think videotaping the birth (for Joe's eyes only - heh heh) is a great idea. I just love you so much! I don't have a phone number for where you are, but please, call me as soon as you can (I am not sure if you have our new #, I will email you...) *hugs and sharing tears with you*

Wow! What at adventure! Glad everything turned out OKAY. Don't worry too much about the stress... I have heard of worse and the baby is fine. You would be surprised how tough our bodies can be! But of course, the no lifting thing is dfinitely important!
Love you!

Go with cocoa butter. It works. My friends mom SWEARS by it, she doesn't have ONE stretch mark. Just make sure you massage a lot in, really good like six times a day, starting NOW!

Ummm, no. You friends definitely don't have exclusive rights to the name "Luke" dear and chances are, you guys won't be living near each other anytime soon so you guys go ahead and name the baby whatever the heck you want. And I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!
