Just a comment on your last entry - My old Sensei (Kyokushin Karate) pushed some students really hard, while he pretty much ignored other students. The students he ignored got all pompous, thinking they were doing everything perfectly. I wondered why he was harder on me, until the sparring began - Then the harder work really paid off, and those pompous students had to spend a while nursing their bruised egos! :) Catch my drift? Hi Lauren. Actually, this is one of the new Diaryland templates - there's a black one just like it. I just figured I'd make it easier for people to leave notes and stuff, because I do love to hear from you guys. Yeah, I started with tennis, but then I branched out and became a pretty good playground basketball player - don't tell anyone, but I once called myself the "Assist Prince of the Universe" :) I also got pretty good at frisbee and some other sports. I hope you're feeling better. Don't sweat the PSAT - it's mostly about going through the experience once. There are plenty of study guides and stuff to get you sharp for the real thing. Lauren Marcus is just a little lost, he doesn't really understand whats going on in his life, sure i don't know this personaly because i don't talk to him, but hes always been confused. And if it helps anybit i want you to be happy. I want you to be in love with someone who is a great guy, only talked to him a few times, but when he sees me he makes sure to say hi to me. And any guy who wants to know your friends is a good guy. You just need to worry about school..LoL...so do i. i'm thinking of getting homeschool. Real school depresses me.

LOL. Lauren, I can't believe we're competing over who had the crappier jeans. Mine were Old Navy closeouts, but they were new when I got them, so I'll let you win with the hand-me downs (though it would have been a bigger win if they were handed down from a brother). The next time I go down a size, I'm going to buy an actual name brand like Maverick or something in your honor. It's going to be a year before I'm at a size where I'm willing to spend real money on clothes that I can wear for a long time. Thanks for sharing the stuff about your Mom and the bass. It must be hard, but it's a sign of your character that you find positive outlets to help you cope with things. You'll go far. Now if you would just post a bit more often:) Take care. John

I buy everything but groceries on the Internet. For me to go berserk in a Target store and have things literally jumping from the shelves into my cart must have been quite the sight.
