from axde :
you've never heard of that? i think of every state park or otherwise that i've been to they've all had a dusk-dawn open and close time. i wish they didn't.
from axde :
no worries, ill be back. i always do. and ill still continue to read. i hope you are well.
from swallowthkey :
I'm unlocked now actually :)
from theways :
that is awesome! thank you for the link :)
from raven72d :
"experience" cross-referenced with "adventures"...
from thecity :
It makes for good writing, anyway. Thanks for the note. xo
from raven72d :
stay happy. guilt is for things that leave both parties unhappy.
from raven72d :
I love your description of the Antipodean spring.
from raven72d :
I'm used to age differences of that kind... I'm always the Older Lover, it seems. More, these days.
from raven72d :
seventeen years...?
from permeation :
i dont think you can d/l them, but id be more than happy to burn them to cd & send them to you old school style. email me your address if you'd like. (seriously - i love doing that kind of thing, so it's no sweat.) xx
from might :
I didn't know if I was meant to know you, that's all.
from mangotuesday :
its southeast/hug heartsout.
from spindle :
yes. to do with 'Catcher in the Rye.' with me, it happened most dramatically with Camus's 'The Stranger,' and last night it was with Kathy Acker. I was not expecting it with Kathy Acker but it happened. they were important, so they will always be important. anything else is to betray ourselves. even if we don't like them anymore, they're in too deep to let go of. (it is the same with people, I suspect, though they are harder to keep on bookshelves. what has become of the note you wrote?)
from crestone :
awe, thanks for your nice note and especially for introducing me to your diary--looking forward to exploring your writing and insights!
from unowhatilike :
I added an about page in response to your question. I hope it answers your question, though I fear it may still be a bit vague. And thank you again.
from suckledhoney :
That entry by Spindle is one of the best dealing with loss that I've ever read. I was impressed by it myself.
from raven72d :
Ask away... I have a PhD (History) and a Law degree...
from raven72d :
so what are the new studies about?
from raven72d :
Are you still writing about personal photos and the perception of time?
from idividedbyi :
as soon as i had posted that i realized how vague it must sound. i meant please don't be a stranger around here. come back often and view the newness!
from unowhatilike :
Well thank you.
from idividedbyi :
thankyou! please, don't be a stranger.
from suckledhoney :
Thank you very much.
from raven72d :
That I do sympathise with: I like tragedy, too.
from raven72d :
Read, travel, walk new wintertime streets, find new boys. All you can do is the whole Flucht nach Vorn thing into the future.
from raven72d :
Melbourne in Antipodean winter... What's it like? What memories are haunting you?
from raven72d :
You need to build new memories.
from raven72d :
I'm nostalgic, too... And given to building up dreams and stories whenever I walk through places I remember or reading over old letters or looking at old photos...
from raven72d :
Walking old streets, seeing buildings from the past: we never quite get over mirages.
from clapclapclap :
you wouldn't happen to live in australia would you? i spent three years there!
from raven72d :
how's the weekend?
from kanyooceemee :
thank you for the thoughts. I actually did write an e-mail to the reporter. No reply ..but it helped me therapeutically. Having a lot of stress right now,but I also have lots of faith.
from comebacktome :
Thanks for the reply- the layout is actually from another site, I couldn't get that one to work, but thanks anyway :)
from axde :
thank you very much. i am going to start reading you.
from raven72d :
cold weather... lovely girls should still sleep naked... it's just a question of blankets.
from raven72d :
where I am--- soul-killingly hot and humid.
from raven72d :
how is the australian winter?
from erari :
thanks :> im glad you do. i made it myself :>
from theways :
an honest thank you. :)
from comebacktome :
Oh and I have a question- how did you get your layout from pink design to work, it won't for me :(
from comebacktome :
Thankyou so much for your note! I have read your diary, it's lovely. I totally relate and while you might not think it from my letters, it does get better, I promise, it's just hard to let go, particularly when you had plans. I feel for you! I hope you start to feel better xo
from delighted :
delighted/youknowit
from chalkstain :
you're probably right, which is sad.
from veganfuckk :
wow. I consider five degrees to be the ideal temperature, haha. I'm in Canada. Right now we're in that transitional stage between winter and spring, where I feel like walking around naked because it's almost ten degrees. You probably think I'm crazy. But that's okay.
from fuschiashock :
really? i like poutine maybe twice a year, but other than that, i'd rather not eat any of that.
from veganfuckk :
Me, too. I read your latest entry..are you in Australia? That is cake. I've always wanted to visit there. How cold does it get? Ever snow? Haha you probably don't want to be bombarded with stupid questions but I guess it's too late to take them back.
from itchymicchi :
hi hi, thanks, you're very kind :D
from cleopatra19 :
Thanks for the note. I was surprised to see that I had readers XD I really don't have anyone close to me to talk to which is why I revisited my old Diary so I could get my feelings out.
from shoot-down :
i have no idea, but it surely is reeking havoc in my mind, as you can tell.
from delighted :
delighted/youknowit
from sadistiksoul :
i'll give it a taste
from evenstargirl :
Hello, thank you so much for your note. Anthony has put on weight as well, and he is supportive of my decision and would like to do it too. But we have tried a few times already and failed. I know that the change will affect our lifestyle...But i think having a confident girlfriend over a self concious one will also help some of our problems. By the way, I love your journal. Im sure all of us can go through with a plan as long as we want the result bad enough. You help me, ill help you!
from thecity :
thanks very much. xxo
from shoot-down :
thankyou so much.. i can honestly say the same for you, my dear; your entries are nothing short of brilliant.
from amazinfuckup :
Thank you.
from raven72d :
And how is life?
from xoinsanityxo :
i think i've come to that realization, and thats what scares me the most ...
from tarkis :
I am glad you are doing well... once the decision is made the universe has a way of opening new paths and delights...
from kanyooceemee :
i'm glad you are doing well. :-)
from tarkis :
the older I get it seems the more i have that others can relate to... it is the circle of life. If you are in something that you can relate to my last entry.. then run.. fast and far,, the healing process is long and you need to start as soon as possible so you can get on with a very rewarding life.
from division-day :
girl, you need to get away from him. seems like he's been causing you misery for years now!!! i mean, i don't know him, but...
from raven72d :
Where are your non-Australia possibilities?
from fuschiashock :
sure! my email address is nextlogicalstep at hotmail dot com.
from raven72d :
What are your career plans?
from fuschiashock :
i guess you don't know me very well. it still sounds interesting, and that it's academic doesn't make me wary.
from fuschiashock :
i think i like christmas less and less. i'd like to not celebrate it, but i go along with it for my family.
from fuschiashock :
congrats. that sounds interesting. i wish i could read it.
from raven72d :
Do the PhD. Always go for the PhD.
from keeds :
it's a chore. you'd hate it... being mediocre and happy is underrated.
from division-day :
congrats! i'm so happy for you...
from division-day :
wow, i was living in krabi. crazy. i took acid on rai ley beach, it was amazing. thailand is beautiful. brian got in a motercycle accident too, had to have skin grafts... it's crazy over there.
from kanyooceemee :
wow, that sounds amazing! any pics?
from fuschiashock :
will you update?
from danimal42 :
where are you from?
from seereason :
Thank you kindly. :)
from raven72d :
I was trained as an historian and then as an advocate--- questions are just reflex for me... But feel free to ask any of your own.
from raven72d :
Vivid colours or vivid/complex stories...?
from raven72d :
Are all your dreams that vivid?
from ivyparker :
Hey, thanks for the note. Yeah, seereason is one of a kind.
from kanyooceemee :
That is kind of chilling too. Have you ever had premonitions before?
from ivyparker :
very strange dream, indeed.
from raven72d :
Becky at Division-Day? I agree.
from raven72d :
Japan... Are you going to visit.
from raven72d :
Intriguing thought--- how the perception or reading of photographs has changed over time... I hope you'll tell me more.
from raven72d :
What's the thesis topic?
from raven72d :
And how is the writing going?
from danimal42 :
oh you betta buddy me but right now
from kobebeef :
I was in the mood for some marble-mouthedness. found through a google search, naturellement!
from raven72d :
"Slide"... Tell me more.
from akindofmagic :
=)
from kobebeef :
hey, thanks! I can't promise I'm always entertaining or even understandable, but .. that is that. I'll keep tabs on you!
from raven72d :
What kind of job? I haven't been in Berlin in...forever. Though I did live in Vienna for a while.
from raven72d :
The rooms sound excellent... What were you doing in Berlin?
from raven72d :
Always treasure time when you can be out by yourself...
from raven72d :
I'm glad you got the p/w... And I hope you like the entries...
from raven72d :
Let me know if you got the p/w...
from raven72d :
I will e-mail you a password.
from raven72d :
Lovely-- if sometimes enigmatic --entries.
from unctuous :
thanks for the add. i like your writing.
from unctuous :
any book bound in black linen would be a draw for me. but lolita!?! i must get my hands on a copy!
from sls :
thank you! my diary loves you back :)
from fuschiashock :
it hasn't happened and i don't think it will.
from thelongreign :
I just wanted to say thank you for the compliment. as for the dates on it....they are older enteries from older journals. I'm working on putting them all in one place.
from thecrankyone :
Thanks so much for the compliment on my layout. I got the graphics from Full Moon Graphics. She has some of the best stuff out there, for layouts.

from sleepystorm :

from sleepystorm :

from figandflower :
thanks for your comment! Yeah, the granola is really good, although mine is not quite crispy enough. I think I underbaked it, so if you do, make sure to leave it in for about 2 hours!
from sleepystorm :

from tremendous :
Thanks for filling out my soughcool survey! If you are interested, I have two others: sowcool and preference. PS- I'm jealous of your seeing Ben Harper live.
