Thanks for the sweet note. I laughed at your Jersey Girl description (I am a west coast girl too). I married a guy from Philadelphia, which is across the river from New Jersey. ALL the females from his neck of the woods fit that "Jersey Girl" description! I felt so out of place, in a good way! the first time I went back there with him.

Its funny that you say that. When I came in to work this morning, I was talking to a woman I work with and she said te same thing...pawn it. Actually, she said to take all the jewelry I have from ex's, pawn it, and take a trip or something. I think I might just do that. They're all so not worth it. I know that this sounds cliche and all, but I hate men! Dont want to deal with another one of them.

I live in Edmonton and I just moved here 3 months ago for University. I'm also a self-loathing narcissist, and I do on occasion starve myself to come down a little. So many women fight with their own bodies... I think it's our cross to bear, among other things like getting knocked up, being sexually assaulted, having to consider abortion, the humiliation concerning our most natural parts... We over exert ourselves because we hunger for the perfection that the better-half refuses to surrender to us. They don’t let us sleep, ever. We are guilded strength and beauty bound by venomous social mores. When you're tired from over-exercising and lack of food, you can't think... and that's just what the better-half wants for us... To crack... But we are so much more... We still live-- tearing ourselves inside out. To connect that to friendship: nobody wants to be around a girl who hates herself. Ironic, isn’t it?
