I just did your namegame survey, it was fun and check out your dairy, only read the latest entry but it was cool. I have pretty much the same taste in music and movies as you, just a few years older, might have something in common. Anyhow, yeah cool diary, might check back sometime, added you to my buddies list, hope you don't mind.
from kpete :
Congrats on the house and sorry bout the break up! I hope you guys do remain friends! It was great reading your diary!! =)
from barenaked500 :
congrats on the house!
from party-on :
Congratulations! Being an adult is fun, huh?
from miss-miami :
Congrats on the 1 month! By the way, what's going on with the other Jeremey. Like have they actually sent you an invitation, because it's not like you guys are even friends still. That dress you bought...write an entry abou it. I'm sure everyone else wants to know...
from miss-miami :
I am getting a new address book tonight. Please send me your new address and the date it will be effective so that I can put that one in my new address book!
from kpete :
I'm glad things are coming together for you, I wish you the best of luck with Jeremy and the house! It's gonna be sad to see you go, I've enjoyed ur diary alot!
from lusciousme :
I'm sad to see you go, but I did so I know where you're coming from. Congrats on the house and with your relationship! After reading about all the fuckwittage you deserve it! After all the fuckwittage I've incurred I hope I end up like you!
from barenaked500 :
Awww, where ya going Katie? :(
from miss-miami :
Why no more blushingcece?
from kpete :
OOOH the GAP peacoat jacket??? I have it too!! ISN'T IT JUST ADORABLE?! I got it from two friends for my bday!!! Well, I'm still catching up, so I may comment later!!
from barenaked500 :
You got the house! Yay!
from blue-candy-b :
Adam's like that with me. He was like that at first and I was self-concious about my stomach, and I didn't know what to make of it. It is really nice, though, to have someone admire something that you consider a flaw. He sounds like a great guy, and it sounds like you guys are a great match!
from miss-miami :
Does he have a name?
from party-on :
Hey, congratulations! He sounds cute. I wish you the best of luck. Dates are so much fun! You will have a ball.
from itsmylife :
Ohhhh, that IS terrible. Makes me so angry. That poor girl.
from miss-miami :
Good luck!
from miss-miami :
I'm Coming Out by Diana Ross is a good song for this tape. Kylie Minogue, Madonna (Human Nature), and I always liked walking to Mo Money Mo Problems, You Sexy Thing, and Men In Black. Tee Hee.
from miss-miami :
Are you not on the pill? It makes you ... consistant. I was so happy when I started my period every Tuesday (it was after my English class), and then I learned how to move it around, so I would never have my period during the weekend. You should definitely try that. It's worth $12 a month.
from miss-miami :
Oh crap. I forgot to do that today. OK, next entry I'm just going to mention that there's this really cool curves ring, run by a really cool chick with a really cool diary...
from miss-miami :
I'm gonna pimp your Curves diary ring over at my diary. This is one thing I admire Americans for: you still have miles, right? And we have kilometers. 1 km = 0.6214 miles. So when you say you're going to walk a mile. I know how much that is and say Wow. I used to walk 2 km to a job I hated (1.24 miles) and 3 km to school (1.86 miles) and also an ex-boyfriend's house. So I guess I would do it, but ... we'll you go! It was actually at the job that was the closest to my house that I got rides all the time. Love exercise.
from omzhaara :
Yay! I'm officially on the curves woman diaryring :)
from itsmylife :
Yeah. Dating a co-worker is never a good idea.
from blue-candy-b :
Yeah, I know what you mean. In Bridget Jones' diary, she looked so nice. Harper's Bizarr Magazine wouldn't put her on the cover whenever she gained weight for that movie because she was overweight, and they said she looked "uncomfortable". How messed up is that? I'm sick of seeing bones. We need to see more curves. You rock for being proud. Go you!
from miss-miami :
I like this entry. I never really noticed R.Z. being so tiny while I watched. I guess I'm sensitized to actresses being unreal. Anyway, I know what you mean. I look at myself in the mirror before my shower and say GROSS! but when I'm wearing a skirt or even jeans and a pretty sweater and some makeup...I have HUGE boobs. I'm probably what guys dream about! Right? (*wretch* I am listening to beautiful by Christina Aguillera as I write this and I'm relating *wretch*)
from omzhaara :
Thank you for your kind note! Well, it worked out with Mr. Coffee, though rather than drinking the darned stuff I probably would have done better with a Mr. Coffee IV running into my arm ;) By the way, I love your diary - just fresh and honest and wonderful (and a new fave of mine as soon as this note is finished!) The fact that you've got the fuckwitted diaryring on your site AND you're a fellow Curves member means that we've GOT to stick together! :) Smiles!
from miss-miami :
My grandmother says that whatever shape your birthmark is, is something your mother was thinking of when she was pregnant and then thoughed that part of her body. Apparently her best friend' daughter has the exact shape of an ice cream cone on her leg. And my cousin, Mark, has the shape of our province on his stomach. (Maybe my aunt was longing to come home?) My cousin, Alison, has a birthmark right under her chin, and one of her friends admitted that she always thought Alison had been eating chocolate ice cream!
from miss-miami :
I have to try that mirror thing. It's before I get in the shower that's the worst...maybe I should take off my glasses before my clothes before stepping into the shower.
from vexmix :
just an opinion..i dont think you should worry about finding someone. Your pretty, intellegent, and have a lot going for you. a guy will come a long in due time. your still so young..its not like your 50 and single..anywho, dont let your mom get ya down. They like to try and be understanding because they feel they should be...but sometimes, they just dont get it...::sigh:: mom's..
from miss-miami :
My family has provided well for me over the years but my dad works construction and lots of times, especially now, he finds himself unemployed. I, too, am frustrated with being unemployed, and my sympathetic dad always says to look people straight in the eye and say something to throw them off, such as, "Now, I don't really want to work anyway. Too hard. I'd rather stay home." Maybe you could try a similar tactic with your family, especially with the boyfriend thing. "Well, you know, if I get a boyfriend, Uncle Howie, you'll be the first to know! *wink*" "Well, maybe when I get time for a boyfriend, I'll go look for one, hey?" "Between fighting off the boys at work, I just don't have the energy for a boyfriend." And the whole school thing? You love your job. Just tell them how much you love your job and go on about it until it gets boring. If "a smart girl like you..." comes up, a good comeback is always "Well, if all the smart girls waited like I'm doing, to figure out exactly what to do, there would be less smart girls with Liberal Arts degrees, wouldn't there? No, no. I'm going to be able to put myself through school wihout any loans if I keep working the way I'm going, and when I know what I want, I can afford to go get it." That sounds like a smart thing to say. Have fun!
from miss-miami :
That's the thing. It's not tucked in. I admit to the belt on the shorts bit, but the shirt was too short to be tucked in. If you see anything next to my belt that's my tummy, my oh so flat tummy. *sigh*
from miss-miami :
Oh come on, though. It was a plain purple t-shirt (size 4 children's) and a pair of Gap shorts (size 1). And it was 1995. And what you see in the after picture is my uniform. I do like the after picture a whole lot but the weight gain...argh! I'm so miserable.
from barenaked500 :
I've lost 72 pounds so far. :) I wanna join Curves though - they are popping up ALL over out here. I think I'm gonna wait for my gym membership to be up though just cause I don't have money to belong to both. How do you like it...
from barenaked500 :
She's Come Undone is the BEST book. One of my all time favorites! :) I made those models too...I'll hafta post mine because compared to before WW and now there is a HUGE difference. :)
from miss-miami :
I'm not sure how much I weight right now. I guessed 175 by looking at the picture of "me" naked. I'm probably not really that much. Last time I weighed myself I was 160 (ulp!) and all those size 14 clothes still fit. Basically I think 135 is realistic for my wedding day. I used to look like that, even after the Freshman 15 (which is actually more like the Freshman 20). That's the skinnier of the two pictures. 135.
from miss-miami :
Such a cute picture.
from miss-miami :
When did Artero kiss you? He's not married, right? I'm confused!
from miss-miami :
I do! I read! Racist or no, you're obviously experiencing a FEW problems with these guys you work with. *sigh* Keep writing.
from chubbychic :
HAHAHAHAHA Girl.. That was hilarious. I can so relate.
from miss-miami :
You hardly ever update anymore. :( I miss your entries. What's up?
from miss-miami :
...99.9% of...[g]uys have one thing on their mind and even when their getting that their looking for another [person] to get it from. No, no Katie. If ONLY Dave had sex on the brain. But no. So *I*, the female, have been wanting to get this from somebody else. Sometime I think monogramy is bullshit, and while I love Dave and want to spend the rest of my life with him, he doesn't think I'm sexy. And other guys do. Wouldn't it just be fair for me to have "casual sex" with the boys and be in love with Dave?
from kpete :
I'm not really sure how he took it. He called me and said that I had some bitterness towards him and that we needed to talk about that, but instead of talking he wanted to do it online and once I got online, he said nothing about it. It was stupid.
from kpete :
I like miss miami am curious about that as well, but also, though I have yet to really catch up on your diary (I've been away from the net for awhile, grr) remember when your best friend Jess read your diary and was mad about the stuff you wrote in it about her or something to that extent? Well, that just happened to me last night with Brian. Don't people understand that our allowed to be annoyed and angry with them, and that your diary is where you rant about it?!
from miss-miami :
How did you manage to get your first kiss after you lost your virginity? This I am curious about.
from chubbychic :
I gotta say, I admire you for not melting over the married guy. That shows a lot of character on your part. If I were his wife, I'd beat him with my Gucci Bag.
from lusciousme :
I hope ou had a Merry Christmas! Hurrah to having had a good 2002....wait til you buy your house in 2003!
from chubbychic :
I know how you feel,.. I've never gotten so many compliments as when I worked for an all-male, all-Turkish company. I loved it! heheh
from miss-miami :
You can't hear it? You have to get Real Player. It just takes about 1 minute for me to download Real Player One so it would probably take you twenty minutes...Try to listn to it!
from miss-miami :
Go to http://www.geocities.com/nfjennifer/katie.html
from miss-miami :
Did that work? I noticd you can navigate now. I hate Mike. Fuckwit. I like the cast of fuckwits you have on the side of your page. Do you have hi-speed internet or dial-up, because there's a song I NEED to send you. (Ignore the randomness, it's 8.23 and I'm still in my pyjamas.)
from miss-miami :
Right now you hve <A HREF="%%PREV%%">. Chanbge that to lower case: prev Same with next.
from miss-miami :
I'm on it right away
from miss-miami :
I can get to your old messages. What's up with that? And as for M you've been reading my secret diary up to now? I have to update it even more. I am such a crush junkie.
from miss-miami :
yes, I'll have a look tomorrow. it's 3.30 here and I've spent all night talking to M.
from kpete :
That sucks that he's married and that the blind date didn't work out! But don't worry, you wont be single forever, just watch!! Patience... yeah it's better said than done, I know. I can soooooo relate.
from miss-miami :
who is the guy?
from miss-miami :
Well, my roommate Barbara had a hard time breaking up with her boyfriend, Jeramey. He wouldn't go away! He was always showing up at our dowm room and one day he brought his cousin, Dave. They were only in my room for about five minutes. I pretended to study while Barbara and Jeramey had it out again. Then after Christmas, the cousin told Jeramey he's like to go out with me, and Jeremey told Barb and I said OK, and Barb gave him our number and he called. And we went to the movie.
from miss-miami :
I went on a blind date. The guy was nice-looking. Had nice icy blue eyes. Tasted like DuMaurier cigarettes. We saw an awful movie. He kissed me in the theatre. I bought him coffee afterwards. We dated for two wonderful months. He was great. I had sex with him. That, he wasn't so good at. My mom met my dad on a blind date. They've been together for thirty-seven years (married for twenty-nine).
from barenaked500 :
your back! score! 8) have fun with the guy while you can...as long as you don't get attached whats the problem??! heh. xoxo
from lusciousme :
Sometimes things that are bad, feel so good. I say if you've been a good girl for awhile, a little mischief won't do anything. Just be careful about the sex thing! But I know you would! And it IS SO nice to be wanted!
from miss-miami :
Sounds like and my first boyfriend. I don't talk about Jason much, but when we first started going out I was 14 and he was my cousin's boyfriend's best friend. I didn't know him. I started to like him and then I got grounded. Then we started going to the same high school, and I realized that just about every girl in that school had gone out with him at some point. That he was not boyfriend material. I had just kissed my best friend Robert (who I also don't talk about much) but Robert didn't want to be anything more than friends. So Jason calls me to help him with his chemistry homework. We were in the same class, I wasn't doing anything and it was only a ten minute walk. he didn't need help with chemistry, it turned out, but I used him to make Robert jealous, and he used me becaus ehe used people. He would wait for me to leave and get another girl to come over. I also didn't have a boyfriend and I wanted some. We never did have sex. I think I would be happy about that if he weren't dead. If he were still alive I would probably regret having had sex with him, but now it's like I never will...well, anyway, my point is, sometimes you gotta get some and sometimes you know the guy isn't the right guy. At all. He's not even Mr. Right Now. Though next time tell him you don't want him to ruin any more of your good clothes.
from lusciousme :
I miss ya hun! Come back and update!
from kpete :
Just making sure you are still alive, you haven't written in a few days. I'm sure there's something new going on!!
from footballgolf :
hi its opal from opalfruits this is my new diary name!
from lusciousme :
Hurrah! I'm happy that you are over Jeremy, cos no woman needs a man to be fulfilled. it's just a nice extra! Sadly I think either I've become independent or just incredibly cynical. Singletons unite!
from miss-miami :
I just wanted to correct you on the Whatever will be, will be thing (becuase I'm a big French nerd, not because I'm a big bitch). It's actually "que sera sera," which in French would be pronounced "kuh sera sera" but sounds like "kay sera sera" in the song, and has been adopted as the pronunciation of that expression. Just to let you know... (because I'm a big nerd...)
from vexmix :
thanx =)..and sure, go ahead and use the idea. I'd like to take credit for thinking of it first, but I cant, I too got it from someone else. so whattya say we spread it...
from kpete :
awww it's none of that, you'll be fine!! just be patient (yeah i know better said, not done) and things will work out. eventhough I'm sure you don't want to listen to that, you know it's right, that's how it's been in the past concerning other issues right?
from kpete :
concerning fernando, u need to do what u want to do. Follow ur heart, if u aren't happy in this thing then get out before it's too late, or you can take a risk just to see if it gets better. I think it's a bit selfish for him to say go out with the girls another time though. Same with the job, if u don't like the station, say bye to it, 3 yrs is a long time and that's all good, but actually loving what u do is better!! Try cutting ur hours there, try out the new restaurat to see what it's like and if u realy like it, leave the station for good. Wow I wrote more than I thought I would. BTW, I can't wait to read ur first entry about ur house!! Hopefully that will work out and be in no time!! ^_^
from the-grinch :
Haven't talked to you in a long time!! Hmm... this Fernando business is awfully different, but I'd say go with it and see what happens. I mean, unless he's moving too fast for you and won't slow down even if you tell him to or anything.... but then again, what am I giving advice for?? I'm only 12. Anyways, xoxo Clever
from lusciousme :
Maybe sparks will fly next time. Plus to anyone you would be the holy grail! I hope everything goes well!
from miss-miami :
When Dave first kissed me, it was bad. He was sloppy and he continued being sloppy. We broke up for six months and when we got back together his kisses were wonderful. He didn't kiss anyone else during that time. I think it had something to do with US. Dave was less nervous and I was more comfortable with him. That's all I know about kissing.
from lusciousme :
A kiss is good. My only advice to you in this situation is to follow your heart. Not your head. If it feels right then it is. By the way, how was the kiss?
from withopeneyes :
Awww, sorry I haven't responded to you note in a while. Working with kids rocks! They are so cute of course when they aren't talking back hehehe!
from kpete :
ooh i see, my friendship with tas (my best friend) is def. like urs and jess. it's like as much as u want to hate her, u can't and u just have to love her. it's crazy and unfair. yeah, i'll def. join ur ring!!!
from kpete :
i love ur new layout, it's all nice and stuff. so yeah i just read ur entry about toni. things will probably be better in no time... i know exactly what u mean though. i hate going out with my best friend... isn't that sad? but it's cuz she's such a flirt and acts like she doesn't. she got mad at me once when i told her she was a flirt. im like whatever, at the time i didn't care about losing the friendship, but a few days later realized how much i really did like her and if we ended the friendship it would be hard.. i guess she thought that too cuz she apoligized for freaking out on me. so hopefully things will be cool with u and toni!!
from miss-miami :
The only time I don't feel completely giddy and lost and dizzy is when I feel guilty. Should I fall so hard for someone I met once (but keep correspondence every day)? It's intriguing and nysterious. Should I not have crushes when I have a great boyfriend? I can't help it. He's everything I don't get from Dave. Should I not have this crush when he will be back in about two weeks and I can meet him in person again? Should I stay away when the attraction is so strong? Yes, crushes are like drugs. The bad kind.
from miss-miami :
I LOVE your new layout!
from barenaked500 :
I read your entry about writing letters to Jessica - I know exactly what you mean about feeling like you HAVE to get together with old friends...
from an6elo :
you go girl! you don't need any guy to control your destiny like that. YOU make your own fortune.
from vexmix :
they make white chocolate kitkats?!?
from kpete :
i dunno if goldmember was better... it's been some time since ive seen spy who shagged me, it was def. hilarious though!! ^_^ beyonce isn't the greatest actress, but for a n00b she did an ok job. check it out, it was worth the money!
from lusciousme :
Jimmy Eat World is awesome in concert! I saw them like a month ago! They kick ass!
from musicjunkee :
I'm in love with your "perfection" entry.
from barenaked500 :
I hate when my mom snoops through my room! Sometimes I can hear her walking in my room when I'm downstairs and other times my stuff is moved over or facing the other way...ugh. PRIVACY, people!
from lusciousme :
Everyone should set goals for themselves. I'm sure you'll achieve them! Rock on!
from eebee :
Thank you for leaving the note. I appreciate it. I try to do different things with my design. I like the simplicity of yours, but I have to have a picture to look at... for my sites, anyway. But thanks again; you're an interesting read. And another thing: I wasn't sure I'd ever meet another person who likes Ben Folds Five. *grin*
from mysticmoment :
I agree about "Sk8r Boi," Cece. It leads me to believe that behind her thoughtful, deep facade, that Avril is nothing but a shallow, arrogant bitch. *grin* The damn cold night song..."I'm With You" (I think...hehe) is mucho awesome. I love it. Another good one is "Naked" and "Tomorrow" and "Losing Grip"...Hell, they're all good. *sheepish grin* I even kinda like "Sk8r Boi." Thanks for replying.
from lusciousme :
I think you hit the qualities of the perfect man completely. If only there was a man just like that out there for all of us.....
from bubbleyumgrl :
Hey i totally agree with ur list. what happened to all the perfect guys in this world?! did they just disappear?? haha but ne wayz.. i realized i never got back to you about linking pages. so sorry about that. to link a page you first need the adress of it. then you put it in the following tag <a href="ADDRESSHERE"> TEXT ABOUT IT HERE </a> i know its confusing but im not sure how else to explain it. if you go to http://www.funky-chickens.com they explain html really well. hope it helps. oh yea, can u go check out my list and maybe add to it? thanks. (http://bubbleyumgrl.diaryland.com/020718_31.html) -Jess
from braceletgirl :
omigosh i have to say i'm in love with your diary! when i read "perfect guy", i was like, "OH YES!!!" i hope you don't mind me adding you to my favorite list! :o)
from jelybeanie32 :
Not so much before my time as i was born in the mid-eightys... not old enough to care. I love your banner, it's compelling
from mysticmoment :
Girl. You have had about as much luck with guys as I have from the looks of your banner. Hehe. I love the insight with which you write. Kudos, girlie.
from jelybeanie32 :
Okay, now i love you more becaus eyou have NKOTB listed as a favorite... I love them... it's before me time a bit...
from kpete :
i love ur diary. it reminds me soo much of me. it feels so good to know that there is someone else out there who has that somebody that would be perfect for them, except they have no attraction to that person. my best friend is like ur friend jessica and i am definitely the "take home to parents girl." i love it but sometimes i hate it... oh yeah, i also had to deal with sexually harrassing cooks when i was a waitress last month. im gonna add u to my list if that's cool. ^_^
from vexmix :
your entry about luke was wonderfully written, and i really like the layout of your diary. mind if i add you to my friends list?
from autumnal :
I ADORE your design! So chic.
from miss-miami :
http://theunimatrix.homeip.net/the_css/photo_gallery/grad_party/IM001670.JPG Go to that website and and see a picture of me being fat and looking nice at the same time. I am currenty size 14. Granted the photographer obviously caught me at the wrong angle but that's what I see I guess when I I look at myself sideways in the mirror.
from miss-miami :
OK.
from miss-miami :
Yy! I am so glad you like your bracelet! I made one for me yesterday, but if you read my diary you know that it fell apart so I can't wear it. Sucks to be me.
from miss-miami :
Take a friend with you to Luke's bonfire.
from miss-miami :
Hurry up and start writing again, and get your older entries back on the archive page.

Ahh I feel like it has been forever since I have left you a message! I think that you don't need college as long as you have something else you enjoy doing. Waitressing is actually a fine job and if you like it, Wait to go Girl!! Keep enjoying being 21!!
from miss-miami :
I LOVED you old design! Put it back.
from the-grinch :
I found a cool place the other day that has lists and lists of layout-makers - http://beautify.diaryland.com Hope that helps!! :)
from kaylisprite :
rules, shmules! There are so many kinds of love, and so many levels of love! I never wanted to settle, either, and I'm so glad that I didn't. And as far as career choices go, I have a college degree. It's silly to think that everyone should have one, and I still don't know that the actual degree has helped me as much as the experiences that I've had along the way in getting it. And as for being a good Christian, well, I very much believe that spirituality is an individual thing. No rules as far as I'm concerned. Being a part of spiritual ritual (whether it's a church service or whatever) can be very intense because of the energy and intent shared between the people present. But if the group of people or the type of ritual or the timing or whatever isn't right, that doesn't make YOU any less spiritual for feeling that the gathering doesn't do anything for you. Figure out what you believe (and don't worry if that changes through life, that's fairly normal), and live it. If you're a Christian, let your beliefs show in how you live. I don't feel that you can go wrong with that. And you're not bad for it by any means. You are the one that lives your life, no one else. The only "rules" about how you live it should be your own.
from kal-uwsp-81 :
hey this is jen from lucky designs, well i'm thinking you should really ask laine if you want a new design because she did your first one. it's kind of a partner thing, i don't want to be taking from her or anything like that. but if she says no then i will. you just have to let me know specifics.
from kaylisprite :
Just a quick warning. I've updated those last two entries. They're a little intense. In different ways, but they are. I'm not sure how difficult they'll be for someone else to read, but in writing them I've let a lot out. You don't have to read them if you don't want to. One is about something that happened in Madison, and it's not heart-wrenching, but it has some unconventional thinking attached. The other is about sexual abuse. That might be the rough one.
from kaylisprite :
Do you know what I've been told that dating is for? It's for learning how to interact with guys until you meet the one that becomes more special to you than you've ever realized someone could be. Dating doesn't necessarily mean having relationships. It means checking things out, learning a bit, and moving on if it wasn't meant to be. Don't worry, I've been there, but in my advanced age I have to say that even the ones that didn't turn out were worth it for some reason or other.
from bubbleyumgrl :
hey thanks for the note. to get like a bio page and all that u just make it a normal entry and link that entry into you html or wherever. if that makes no sence email me again and ill try and explain it better. cyaz. Jess
from miss-miami :
Yay Madonna! Yay Bridget Jones! OK, you just came up with your Five guy Theory like the other day! So what if he's not Guy #4. You have a crush on him. Go for it! (Does he ever eat there? Are you ever his waitress? Write a note on the back of the bill like you know when waitreses write Thanks, Lisa :) ? I'm not sure what to write but I'll think of something.
from barenaked500 :
Youre gonna be jealous...Dashboard is opening for Weezer!!!!!!!!!!!! ;o) I didn't know and just found out last night! Yay!
from miss-miami :
Crazy things??? You're telling me. My big crush on ******* from my class (you know) snuck up. I can not pin point the day it happened but I just started melting somtime in September. Then there was ******* also from my class (you know) and I can't tell if that happened the day we played pool, over Christmas, the night we stayed late working on the Oracle project (and consequnetly played pool again) or somewhere in between. And where did **** come from? Why did he have to slip into my life one drunken Friday evening? If Peter is #4 and too shy to make the first move, why aren't you making it? Just ask him to lunch. I am making the first move with ****. I didn't know **** was a thousand miles away when I asked him to add me to him Instant Messenger! WHICH HE DID. And it was hard toucjing *******'s face and telling him I had a nice time, BUT I DID. And it was EASY asking M****** to lunch, but I did. The hardest part was getting shot down but I got over that. the best thing to do is to ask NOW before the crush gets too big so if he says no you can get over it quicker.
from barenaked500 :
I like guy #4...maybe he will open up more once you make the first move?
from lusciousme :
Wait for your soulmate. It may take some time, but it is truly worth the wait....who wants to go through those other guys when *the one* is out there?
from berrysncream :
i locked my diary in case you wanted to know... ur password is your username. Jess
from miss-miami :
OMG. I don't know the soundtrack from My Best Friend's Wedding very well, but the song you are referring to is Jann Arden's You Don't Know Me. Right now in my poll, Could I Be Your Girl? by Jann Arden is wiining. The last concert I went to was Jann Arden. Are you a big fan too?
from miss-miami :
If I had a chance with the guy two years younger than me...*sigh*...he's all I think about, Cece. *sigh again*
from miss-miami :
Katie! One year difference. One year and one season. That's it. Do you know that my current crushx just turned 22 and I will be 24 in September which makes me 1 year and 3 seasons older than him and I would LOVE to be with him! And my bif millenium crush was 2 years and 3 seasons younger than me: read 3 school years! If you like him please go for it...look how I can't do anything about my crush!
from lusciousme :
Jeremy and you may have cleared the air but I still think he's an ass.
from miss-miami :
You are SO Bridget! Remember when Bridget goes to the Tarts and Vicars party only it's not Tarts and Vicar and then she goes to Daniel's flat and there's a naked woman there? Suki, in the book; Lara, in the movie; Mrrr! in Real Life. And then the next day Bridget goes to work and Daniel tells her that he and Amanda, I mean Suki/Lara are getting married? But remember what happens? On Bridget's birthday (OK, so you're going to have to wait another year...close to the wedding hey?) he shows up drunk at her house wanting her back because he's not with Suki/Lara anymore. But in the end, she's with Mark Darcy and couldn't really care less about Jeremy. I mean, Daniel. Oh, Katie. I hope your Mark Darcy (who was the son of a family friend, remember, like Peter ????) comes along soon.
from barenaked500 :
Okay its not April Fools Katie...stop lying about the wedding!
from miss-miami :
Local Girls. I just finished it. It's pretty good.
from lusciousme :
What a total and complete emotional fuckwit! I am happy that you got away from that asshole! You are way too cute and cool for a guy like that. But that brings another question. Are there any good guys out there at all?
from the-grinch :
He's getting married to her?? Oh, Katie. I'm so sorry that you had to see that bastard and his ho for 45 minutes. Don't think for a MINUTE that they're above you, because you are so much better than them. Don't think it; believe it. It's true and you goddam well know it. Leave those two mother fuckers and let them have their pitiful fun. $20 says they'll be divorced in a month. Oh, by the way, tell Jeremy that Clever says to go fuck himself.
from withopeneyes :
I totally know how you feel! I am such a freak that I totally already think about what kind of color schemes or themes I am going to have in my house when I get older! hehehe
from miss-miami :
Oh my Lord Jesus Christ. I don't even believe this. The date they have set? Is that June 14 as in next Friday or next year? This is too much. Are you invited?
from withopeneyes :
I love Martha! It sounds so much fun that you are redoing your room. I have wanted to redo mine forever but am too cheap to spend my money on it or anything! heheheh My tv is dying, you can barely see the pic because it is fuzzy and it has lines through it but oh well! heheheh Have fun with your room!
from withopeneyes :
Oh my gosh I totally could never have remembered those names!! hehehe One dollar a piece is the best!! We need some good thrift stores and stuff around here with those bargains!
from withopeneyes :
sory my note is totally belated but i remember the new kids animated show! It was good which is saying a lot since I hate animated cartoons usually of peeps that are real. Like the new Mary-kate and Ashley cartoon (ok so I am freak since i love them) is not very good. But oh my goodness I almost forgot. Thanks for the reminiscing material. hehehe
from lusciousme :
I know.....I hope you had a good Memorial day...cos I did!
from lusciousme :
I hope I'm like you in four years! You're not old....you're just able to do all the things I wish I could!
from miss-miami :
Just a little note, which you can erase and then go edit your entry. Hindsight is 20/20 not 50/50. Don't blush! Just something that made me smile when I read it. (Now go fix it before the others notice!)
from lusciousme :
Hope you had a good birthday!
from miss-miami :
<B>She is so pretty and nice and wonderful. If I were him I would have chosen her instead but he's not good enough for her. </B></P><P>Duh! Of course that's what she's thinking!!! She is trying to mark her territory like a dog. How pathetic. You don't care! You don't like him anymore! She's just going to wonder how come you're so cool about it...is there possibly something <I>wrong</I> with the guy? Nah, he's great, but still...</P><P>Tee hee. Way to have self-esteem!
from barenaked500 :
Happy Birthday hun! Hope its a great one!!! Be safe. XOXO
from kaylisprite :
Happy Birthday to YOU! Happy Birthday to YOU! Happy 21st Birthday to YOUUUUUUUU! Happy Birthday to YOU! Have fun! As Judy said, "You're only 21 once!" To which I replied, "Thank goodness!" hehe And if you need a ride home...
from miss-miami :
It's probably true about Amanda wanting to go to Jeremy's work to see you more so than to see him. Try not to let it get to you. What you did before about pricing the ice cream and making him super busy seems OK, since you obviously don't want to look at her and especially her and Jeremy together. Just try to occupy yourself with something when she comes in and don't say anything to Jeremy about it.
from miss-miami :
Katie: E-mail me with your mailing addres so I can send you somehting too! Jen
from kaylisprite :
hey, cece! You didn't think I'd ever actually read your diary, did ya? for whatever it's worth, I've started one, and we'll see how it develops. And no, there is no age limit to flirting! You have seen Annetta at work, after all! ;)
from withopeneyes :
Sign my guestmap when you get a chance! :)
from withopeneyes :
aww we always want what others have even if we know it is no good! IT sucks being human sometimes. But it can also be great!
from lusciousme :
You NEVER EVER date a friends crush, former crush, and especially ex. It's just something everyone knows!
from miss-miami :
I think it is wrong, but it's happening and the Princess does have to get over it. A real true friend wouldn't do this, but maybe she's not a real true friend. And five months is long enough that Amanda and Jeremy were probably not sneaking around and whatever faults Jeremy has, Amanda must know about them and still wants to be with him. So I kind of agree with Amanda on this one.
from barenaked500 :
Sounds like someone is a player! Ugh, try as hard as you can to forget about him - ;-/
from mindspin :
you should be proud that you told someone your true feelings. holding your feelings inside or putting on a fake smile isn't going to make a relationship, or even friendship survive. one day, you'd just explode.. and well, that wouldn't be good.
from lusciousme :
Don't ever like or date anyone you work with. It's one of those things everyonesays but you do it anyway. Then things get weird.....really weird. Guy! UGH! I hope things work out ok in the end tho!
from barenaked500 :
...atleast there wasnt kicking or screaming...
from withopeneyes :
True true!!! I pull such random stuff from my butt to write about! hehehehe I reminisce often and then write about certain topics!! hehehehe trust me your diary is far more interesting. Maybe I need to get myself into a real life soap opera! heheeee
from withopeneyes :
THe whole Jeremy thing is so crazy! It is like a soap opera. I know that probably isn't fun for you though. I can't wait to read about what happens when you see him next! I hope things go smoothly.
from withopeneyes :
Yayay for you! Enjoy your new haircut! My parents always make comments on my sis's outfits and call it slut wear. hehehehe THey should spend a day with teens and young adults and they would be encouraging her outfits!
from miss-miami :
I thought you were wearing that new dress!
from miss-miami :
Oops. That was me that just added that last note (of course). I forgot to sign out of your diary before I left the note.
from blushingcece :
OK. I just added a link for your ring. Now anytime you want to join another ring, you just go to that "entry" and enter the HTML snipppet provided when you join. Like I said before it's just going to look like this
%%diaryring_nameofthering%%
When you add a new entry tomorrow this rings entry will become an archived entry for you, but will always be there whenever someone hits rings up there on you top navbar. OK?
from barenaked500 :
Who cares where its from...it looks really pretty! ;o) You better post those hair pictures too. And thanks for the sunflower ideas!! XOXO
from barenaked500 :
Awwwwww, Katie. I'm sure you arent a scary clown! Youre so pretty! ;o) XOXO
from miss-miami :
If that doesn't make sense it's because notes accepts HTML (I didn't think it did) and it took away all my tags and modified them. So just let me know. It was only some < CENTER > and < BR > tags anyway.
from miss-miami :
Hey there, my blushing Katie! I checked and no you did NOT add the little HTML bit that makes you a part of my diaryring. I'm not sure what other diaryrings you have joined, but you have a link to a *rings* site that doesn't work. If you have joined more than one ring, here's what you do: start another regular entry and put just the HTML snippets in there. The one for the crushes diaryring is (I think) %%diaryring_crushes%% Yeah. That's all you have to put on the page. If you are in more diaryrings you just put %%diaryring_thenameofthediaryring%% and you might want to center them and space them so that requires just that little bit of
%%diaryring_whatever%%
diaryring_whateverelse%%
OK?
from the-grinch :
Lovely birthday dress!! It's very pretty :)
from barenaked500 :
Ooooooooooooh, i love the birthday dress! Where is it from?
from the-grinch :
Anytime *^^* Thanks so much for adding me as one of your favorite diaries!! This might sound cheesy, but I really do appreciate it.
from withopeneyes :
Yayayayayay your back!! I am happy now! (taking the time to smile!) :) I think I will be able to put up with you for at least a hundred more entries! heheheheheeh I'm glad things worked out with your dad!
from barenaked500 :
Awww, I'm happy you and your dad talked. My dad and I never talk - its always him telling me what I should do and how I should do it, what a pain in the fucking ass. Ugh, I usually end up cryig too........
from miss-miami :
I logged on to give you advice but congratulations on getting to stay! I would have missed you. OK, I like the idea of friends with benefits, BUT girls find this harder than boys because girls *do* form emotional attachments. And if there is already an emotional thing going and he screws around with you and then mentions that he has a date with Toni you are going to be really upset. You are going to cry. if it's with another girl you are just going to be upset though. So if you think you are strong enough to take it go for it, but if you're not sure leave it alone for a bit. Now as for what he meant, I'd say he wants to see what would happen or whatever. So yeah, he's not just being regular friendly. He might or might not try something, but when he asked you he had the "might" option in mind, you can be sure of that. I'd go, and if you don't feel comfortable getting back into a relationship with him yet just tell him and if he just wants to fool around promise you won't get upset when he lets you down. Or if you do get upset just prepare yourself for it. I could say more maybe but I'm rabbling. Maybe I'll e-mail you later.
from the-grinch :
YOU CAN STAY?! That's great!! Oh, if you were here right now, I'd give you a big big hug!! But since you're not, here you go... *hugs* That's wonderful news :) Write back ^^
from barenaked500 :
HIP HIP HORRAY!
from barenaked500 :
Katie, oh Katie! I'm going to miss you!! I actually have a letter for you with no stamp...where should I send it? Anyway...you have to do what is right for you and not your parents, best of luck!!
from the-grinch :
I'd love to be one of your pen-pals, but I'm afraid it's not an option for me. If I asked my parents (which I wouldn't do), they'd say no because they'd think I'm "getting too personal with people I've never met", and if I didn't ask, I'd be overwhelmed with guilt, PLUS my dad picks up the mail and would see a letter to me, then think I have an online stalker or something. Plus, he and my mom would be very mad that I didn't tell them. It's too bad -.- But if you ever get a chance to email me (when you get access to a computer, I mean), my email is [email protected], and in case you have AIM, my screen name is psychotic1229.
from lusciousme :
I'm going to miss you so much.....you always have kind words for me when I have a tough time! Thank you for your thoughts and comments! *Hugs & Kisses* ~Alyssa
from withopeneyes :
Awww I am going to miss your writing!! You need to try to use friend's comp. sometimes and throw us a line here at diaryland.
from miss-miami :
Hope everything goes well. I will miss you not writing every day. What are you going to do? (besides moveing out, I mean in the fall?)
from the-grinch :
I'm really sorry about that big fight with your parents...my friend Kaitlin's dad often responds that way to what she does, too. It's too bad that you won't be able to write here as much - we'll miss you!! If you ever get a chance, leave me a note. I'd love to hear from you again.
from withopeneyes :
Evil men who give you tips for the wrong reasons!! (although tips are tips! hehehe) I hope you find a fun time dress!!
from the-grinch :
Thanks for that note *^^* With that thoughtful statement, you made my day :). Happy Pre-Birthday!! I hope you find a perfect dress - I'm sure it will be lovely.
from lusciousme :
Thanks for the kind words. Sometimes I hate being 17, other times I like it. But anyway I hope you find the perfect dress for your birthday!
from barenaked500 :
My homework is eating me up...yucko. Schools over May 23rd - I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!
from miss-miami :
I also inherited fabulous legs. I love wearing skirts. I have one long khaki skirt with modest* slits up both sides. *Modest is how it looks when I stand up straight. Not when I am sashay-ing or struting. Then I know those slits are sexy and hot.
from barenaked500 :
Youre lucky you have good customers. The country club was full of snotty rich women and their golf playing hustbands. "Oh, sweetie...could you get me an iced tea? It is just SO hot out there..." *rolls eyes*
from withopeneyes :
Aww fun entry of the hundred previous entries. You've become stronger i think!! I felt like I was watching a t.v. show where they reminisce and stuff. If music was playing in the backround it would be perfect!! I can't wait to read the next hundred! :)
from soul-mixture :
ur mom must be those whose ... lemme guess proud of the things ur not proud of...... wat the hell am i saying. sori to bother u with this sh!t kewl diary by the way.
from withopeneyes :
Aww you're gonna be an awesome mom then. YOur kids are gonna know that you wanted them so they will feel doubly loved!! Although My mom didn't really want kids that much until she became pregnant!! And I know I am totally loved!! IT's all crazyneess!! I think everyone's circumstances in life have their equal ups and downs!
from withopeneyes :
That's beyond sad. I don't think I want kids but if i ever have them, I would want to wait till I was married for a couple years first. i think that courting (I am reading to many old books!), engagement, marriage, couple years as husband and wife, parents, grandparents, growing old together, is the order things should go. i swear i think like an 80 year old woman sometimes!! I have such great examples of wonderful marriages and stuff (like we were talking about a while ago) but because of society i still fear it! Ughhhh peeps need to get reality checks!!
from withopeneyes :
yea, it is CRRAAZZZYYY!! Seeing a 16 year old girl preagnant in school isn't even unusual anymore. At least most of your friends are older. Last year a girl in my Honors Geometry class got pregnant and I remember how no one even really thought about it. I didn't even really know the girl but she continued in school and all and there was no big deal made. The only thing I thought was how can you be in an honors class and be pregnant. i know that is wrong, but I don't want to judge but peeps shouldn't be having sex that soon let alone not take double precautions if they do!! (I feel like I am stalking you today with all the notes! hehehe)
from withopeneyes :
Well, Props go to you then for not being a statistic at all!!
from withopeneyes :
hehehe i can totally relate to that!! I never seem to want to hang with peeps my age. My best friend is a year younger and at times he acts older and mostly he acts even younger. You are thinking one year is nothing but we have never had classes and stuff together so we met through community things. In a way I guess it isn't so much as peeps my age but peers from school whom I hate the most. I always would rather chill with kids or adults. A night playing UNO with my parents is more appealing than going to a teeny bopper movie with a group of 16 year olds!!
from withopeneyes :
Awww! It is good that you like your job!! It has to be fun to come home all the time with cash in your pocket from tips!! I love how little old ladies gossip or talk to each other about things like, "isn't she a pleasant young lady" or "My those flowers on the table are so lovely!" It makes me happy! :)
from miss-miami :
Dave's best friend was a girl, Melanie. Anyway, melanie and I got along really good, and then I dumped Dave and went to university and we got back together in March of our first year. Anyway, Melanie never trusted me after this. I thought we were friends and i helped her get with *my* best guy friend. But she totally turned on me after a while, saying things like "Dave and I have a special connection." or kicking me out of the front seat of Dave's car because she got "car sick" in the back. Even with other guys. She dated my friend Robert for a brief period, and I liked him ALL through high school and dated him while me and Dave were broke up. She would make comments like "Robert's ass is so nice, especially naked, when she probably knew damn well I never saw Robert's bare ass. We were only going out for about a month and we didn't even live in the same city! Bitch! She eventually made Dave chose. I won. Ha!
from withopeneyes :
Ughhhh I wish i could say that lane bryant dresses were too big for me also!! heheheeh
from miss-miami :
I hate Toni.
from barenaked500 :
Well I'm happy she forgave you...
from barenaked500 :
I should have warned you about telling friends about the diary - everyone knows mine...including Wayne. Ugh, I hate having to be censored but im not big on confrontation.
from barenaked500 :
You think you're bad? I have almost every single birthday/Christmas/anything card going back to like 3rd grade!
from barenaked500 :
Okay! I remember the swirl in water stuff...I never had one though. Oh, what a deprived child I was!
from withopeneyes :
I can relate to how friendships get left behind or forgotten! Out of your whole last entry the thing most interesting was finding out that you went to the Dominican Republic. That sounds like it was fun. You should write an entry on it!! Also, I think I read in an entry that you like Lane bryant. They have cute new dresses with those fluttery sleeves. When you go shopping for your 21st you should check them out. (I should probably tell you I have no fashion sense so you might want to ignore my "helful" ideas!! hehehee)
from withopeneyes :
I totally agree about the whole fate thing. Man, I can't believe the China Dress didn't work. I think I sense you going on a shopping trip soon!! heheeh
from barenaked500 :
Nope...no my real babies or magic nursery babies for me. ;o( Did I miss out?
from magicjump :
aww cute lion :)
from barenaked500 :
Hellllllllo...me again. I should seriously like...i dont know, never turn off the computer - I'm always thinking of something to ask you. Anyhoo, did you see The Pilots Wife on CBS this weekend? Did you even read the book?
from barenaked500 :
Woooooooah, another community college 3 year-er. (that makes no sense) I'm only in my 3rd SEMESTER!! Geeeez, but I met with an advisor and I will be out after another 3. ::sigh:: I'll be in school forever! Why is it taking be 3 years...i feel like such a loser! Ugh, yuck. What college did you apply to in NY? One by me? hehe. And don't worry...take a semester or two off (thats what I did) until you are ready. Try the nanny thing for a while. Or what about even working at a school? I'm sure things will be fine. XOXO
from barenaked500 :
I had three - well four counting the lost Amy. Amy #2 - my blonde haired one that I am *so* digging out of the basement this weekend, my red head whose name changed all the time - it was usually one of the "cool" TV names - Jessi, Kelly, Lisa...something like that. I had a boy too - brown curly hair, red i can't think what the hell they are called...jeans with straps? haha. I forget his name. Ahhhh, those were the days!
from xliapiax :
hey, yeah i'm a nerd, i love doing those quizzes for some reason hehe.
from lucky-love :
I'm just curious... where were you reviewed at? I'm always interested in reading reviews of my designs! :)
from lucky-love :
Hi! Thanks for the note. And about the 8/9 thing... I should have thought of that when I chose to use the arrows. I used the font Wingdings3 I think, which isn't a font everyone has. If your computer doesn't have a font installed, when it's used on a webpage it just defaults to Arial or whatever. Wingdings3 isn't a standard font, so a lot of computers don't have it installed. Hence, the 8/9 instead of the arrows. If you want to change it, I can email you instructions. Sorry!
from barenaked500 :
I had a Cabbage Patch doll named Amy. She came with me on a trip to PA and I left her in a McDonalds. *tear* My grandma got me a new one that Christmas and said I could only have her if I named her Amy too! So I did...the end!
from neon7c :
nah, emotional purging is not fun nor healthy. unfortunately, it the only way i know how to stumble through this life... :)
from coffeestain :
I signed the slambook, but I didn't do a very good job. SOrry my answers were lame.
from miss-miami :
God, no. Of course i don't think any less of you. LOL. *I'm* the big whore!
from miss-miami :
Wow! That's some story! Now I know you won't be "mad". Amanda (ifonlyicould) got all pissy when I got the crush on Michael saying I shouldn't have crushes when I have a boyfriend. Duh. I can't help the way I feel and I can't help who I want to shag which is why I got the secret diary. Only this morning I was thinking that if anything ever *happened* and I wrote about it, would you and Jess (j-j-m-d) think I was a big whore? Probably. Would you think any less of me? Maybe. Would you keep reading my diary? Absolutely! But would you make me feel shitty by writing mean notes to me about what a whore I am? I know now, that you wouldn't.
from barenaked500 :
Wanna hear the saddest story ever? Okay! Sure you do. When I was 5 we moved into the house I live in now. I had this small red box of crayons/colored pencils that I loved. But when we moved I guess my mom threw it away or something cause I couldnt find it. I would dig through boxes in our garage lookiing for it like months even YEARS after we were moved in. That was my favorite...::sigh::
from barenaked500 :
CRAYONS! yay! ;o) I still have all my stuffed animals, some lunch boxes, toys...
from withopeneyes :
true true you are older but it is still normal. I have an aunt who buys all these toys and she is like 50 something. She always ends up giving them to her nieces and nephews (Me and cousins!! yayaya for us) but she then goes out and buys it again for herself. We will never grow up. You probably just buy the books. I will get them and read them. When I go to the library I will be getting out a 500-600 page novel along with a nancy drew book!!!
from withopeneyes :
oh my goodness, my bedroom looks like a 6 year old lives in it. I have a whole corner full of my biggest stuffies (e.g. pooh, tiger, piglet, eeyore, rabbit, christmas tan bear, cheer bear, etc.) then I have a pooh quilt and sheets ( i actually got them when I was like 11!! hehehe but I also have my version of grown up sheets too!!) Then I love having books but all my books on my shelfs are like little kids chapter books from that ording think back in elementary school and then if you open my closet my old fisher price kitchen sett, fridge and all is jammed in there!!! Ahhhh it is good times!!!
from barenaked500 :
Do you know what I just did Katie? I left myself a note that was supposed to be for you, oh im losing it! Thank goodness for those delete features. Anyway...the Byzantine guy was my friend Billy - the one in Wayne's band - not the Bill i write about sometimes. ::sigh:: Down with Tara Reid, I should have been Gwen!
from withopeneyes :
Awww doesn't it make you the happiest when you can talk with a little kid about carefree stuff and then knowing that they think you are special just makes it even better!!!
from barenaked500 :
Yea, I was up too early today - I had to register for classes! ;o) need sleep = thinking of laying in the sun = scared ill look like tara reid = zzzzzzzzzz
from barenaked500 :
I loved Van Wilder!! I seriously laughed the entire movie...heh. I liked the dog-sperm-donuts...mmmmm. Imagine eating that?!? YUCK!! As for Tara Ried.....I HATE HER. She is so fake looking! Yea, looking like you painted your face orange is so not hot! eck.
from miss-miami :
We call those "wait until it comes to the video store" movies: a MUST-RENT (you know, as opposed to a MUST-SEE)
from miss-miami :
The drinking age in most of Canada is 19 (it's 18 in Quebec). So when you usually become of age in your freshman year which is quite convenient. None of my friends get IDed anymore, and I usually don't either, so they laugh at me, when I do, or usually the cashier/bouncer/bartender will say "You're older than I am." It's nice to look so young. I always say "Oil of Olay, my dear."
from miss-miami :
There's still loads of time before your birthday. By that time you will know if Jeremey is going to take you out. Tell your mom you plan on going to a club and having a few drinks, but you're not planning on getting drunk, for heaven's sakes (LOL). And if you go with with the girl from work, you're 21! Bad crowd, good girl, it all makes the world go 'round. I just can't believe the awful legal drinking age in the US. I still get IDed, but it's a damn compliment!
from barenaked500 :
The new layout isnt done yet...i wanna make everything match metter. Anyhoo - its an Ozzy song and the picture from Rosie's new book. ;o)
from coffeestain :
I'm breathing, I'm breathing. School doesn't often stress me out. The stress passed when I handed in the devil paper. Thanks for the concern.
from the-grinch :
I'm doing just great, how about you?? Lots of people are having trouble with my layout, I guess it's only visible on some comps. That's too bad, 'cause my friend Kaks made it and it's pretty pretty. It's Michelle Branch tinted pink, green, yellow, and blue. Then, in barely visible script it says "This is the story of a girl who cried a river and drowned the whole world". I really like it, and I think I'm going to make another account called Pop-Phobic and Kaks is making a layout out of something I made for that, too. Have you heard Rockin' the Suburbs by Ben Folds yet?? It's fantastic!!
from withopeneyes :
We all have some piece of clothing that makes us happy and feel good!! Only the clothing I seem to love my friends hate!! hehehehe I have a solid blue shirt that just makes me happy!! (sad but true!!) have fun at the wedding. Make sure to show off that pretty dress!!
from withopeneyes :
Man you jut summed up everyone's perfect man!!! If you find him someday you must take some DNA to clone him because he is such a rare find!! I hope you find him! :)
from barenaked500 :
Ummm...send the perfect guy my way!
from miss-miami :
You won't be confused -- that was a typo. I meant don't DO him...
from miss-miami :
Yeah, I think he wants to get with many women right now. Especially after he broke up with this princess woman. He might, he might not. But if he gets into a relationship with you, he can't get with these women, so leave him alone for a while, but I generally think that he really does like you, you just happen to be putting a damper on his single life. And it was righ for him to not continue to be interested in you in that way while he might want to date other girls. That part in the e-mail about not being fair blah blah was bullshit, but the fact that he wrote such an e-mail shows he actually does like you, and may possibly want you for a real girlfriend after he does the other girls. I know that sounds gross, but that's how it is, honey. (Just don't take him back *right* away. But don't wait too long.) And for heaven's sakes don't so him while you're not an item, because that might be the kind of shit he's playing right now. I basically think he's a good person, and just got out of a relationship. When my roommate got out of a longterm relationship she dated about 50 guys and I'm not kidding. Maybe more than that. But then she settled down with one guy. Maybe Jeremey will settle down with you, maybe not, but if he wants to, believe him (not the same as TRUST him).
from barenaked500 :
what new books did you get?
from barenaked500 :
youre home! yay!
from withopeneyes :
You are a trooper!! You had a CRAZZZZZYYY trip and had fun!! Glad your back!!! Keep writing entries so I have something to do!!! (even if living vicariously through strangers is a pathetic way to get through the day!! j/k I am not that big a psyco at least I don't think!!) Hehehehehehe
from withopeneyes :
The Jeremy fellow (I see him as evil ex-b/f from your entries) is never going to get a woman to marry him. He is going to be a wrinkly old man chasing the poor widows and still being a player. You are sooooo lucky to not be with him anymore!! :)
from miss-miami :
OMG are you sure this is Jeremy and not my Robbie??? Anyway, it sounds like he wants to get with many women and can't if he's in a relationship. With you. If he comes crawling back, I'd take him though, (albeit cautiously) because I think he really does like you, but he's a single man. Let him go whore around a bit and if he comes back he does, and if he does, forget him.
from barenaked500 :
Yea, i use boomspeed...it sucks cause they only let you upload like 3 pictures. Hmph.. Do you know when you delete them it turns the picture on your site into a little X right?
from barenaked500 :
Sounds like someones afraid of comitment...atleast hes being honest.
from barenaked500 :
Hey....where are you uploading all these pictures everyday?
from miss-miami :
I would have killed that person that asked you if you were cheating. Last night I bought a Snack and a Half, a KitKat a bag of Doritos and two Jolts. Fuck 'em!
from withopeneyes :
Oh I am totally on the bandwagon for the "Confidence in a bottle" deal!!!! hehehehe We all still make little wishes!!! Do you like veggie tales? You have a veggie tales pea as one of your pics and I was freaking out. They are soooo cute!! I was in Disney world this summer wearing a Larry Cucumber shirt and my mom and I went into a restaurant in Animal Kingdom and a little girl probably about three or four, points at me and shouts, "Larry!!!" It was sooo cute!
from arriyah :
I updated! :)
from miss-miami :
I was just explaining the art of lfirting to my boyfriend last night! Probably around the same time you wrote your entry! Weird eh?
from barenaked500 :
ohhh, i love hands!! (if they are good hands...im sure you know what i mean!)
from xliapiax :
hehe it's ok, i like getting notes. =)
from withopeneyes :
Think of the money you could make in the confidence business. You could split it into categories. "Umm... I would like a bottle of confidence for my love life please." "I would like a pint of get ready for tests confidence" It would be awesome if only it were possible!!
from withopeneyes :
I always wonder how peopel perceive me!!! Sometimes when i hear a friend talking to me about someone else I end up having to think about what they might be saying to the other friend about me. I think everyone has a picture of themselves in their heads that doesn't match an actual photo. I think the way we see ourselves in our minds is how we truly look inside. Beautiful!!!!!
from barenaked500 :
Yea...my keyboard sticks - sorry for the typos!
from barenaked500 :
Ya know what I HATE? When im at home gettig ready my hair will be PERFECT and everything will look great then you step ot of the house and I become captian ugly. OR I'll be looking beautiful and have nothing to do but the next day when I have something to do I look like ass. That sucks!! Okay, no point in this noe - just wanted to share. XOXO
from xliapiax :
hey. miss-miami left me a note and i looked at her favorite diaries and yours was one of them, and i read it and it's really cute. good luck with jeremy. =) <3lia
from miss-miami :
This is a tough one. Don't act all buddy buddy with him but don't act like he's an alien either. Did you ever have a friend (male or female) that did something shitty and you kind of acted a little cool towards that person for a while until things got better? Try that approach. It's not like you don't want to talk to him. You do. But not too much right away, hey? Talk to him, but about things like "What did you think about the Andrea yates verdict?" ord whatever. Try not to talk to him if you can avoid him without being obvious. Read a book whehn you're not busy or do a crossword or something that makes you slightly busy. Smile, but not too much. Make a few jokes. Just keep it cool and *light.*
from barenaked500 :
Katie! Just act like his friend. If you stay involved him when you have all these doubts things will only end up getting ugly. Its not worth risking the friendship you have now. (atleast thats what i think...)
from barenaked500 :
haha.....sometimes the wires will pop out - that is such a pain! and it HURTS! you made it sounds like wild hot monkey sex = mangled bras!
from barenaked500 :
Katie! What on earth does your underwire get caught on that causes it to become MANGLED?!?!? ....or do i not want to know??
from withopeneyes :
Your aunt and uncle sound like such great peeps!! They need to have like an award for people with hearts that big!!
from barenaked500 :
Your horoscope is very right. Cheer up! XOXO
from barenaked500 :
I totally love the story about your aunt. ;o)
from withopeneyes :
I totally just accidentally left a note for you on my notes page. I don't know how I did it but I was saying that all females say one thing and mean another, I do it soo often I don't even think. Reading your earlier entry made me realize how little faith peeps have in love today so i wrote an entry about my parents!! It is boring but sweet!!
from barenaked500 :
You think your name is bad? My cousins are Winston Daniel, Winter Dae, and Willow Darling...and their last name starts with W. Winter and Willow have braclets with a heart hanging off saying WDWx3 and Winston has one of those dog chain things with the same thing. My aunt wanted the same initals - weirdo! They are still little and as cute as cute can be but...Willow Darling...in your 40's? I hate when parents name their kids like Jen, Jill, Julie, Jack, John, and Joe - or anything with the same letters, too damn annoying!
from withopeneyes :
Awwww DOn't give up on the happy ending. i really believe it will come!! (now you are saying man what a loser with her head in the clouds!!) but I really do believe in love. I have a living example of my parents. Trust me it is out there!!
from barenaked500 :
I'm so far from reality. Here goes - Ella, Lucy, Clare, Julia, Isabell (Bella), Noah (YES! For a girl!), Jane, Deva, and Emma are girls and Jakob (Jake), Luke, and Christian for boys. I'm sure im forgeting some too...how sad are we Katie? If we ever become lesbians lets get married, live by the beach, have 20 kids, and really sexy man-boy neighbors! Is it a deal?
from barenaked500 :
PS - I want like 10 kids. lol - YOU THINK IM KIDDING?! Try finding someone who wants a huge family! I only want that many cause i like about 20 names and cant decide on only a few...lol. I wouldnt mind the two girls and one boy though, that would be nice.......
from barenaked500 :
Don't worry...I want my happily ever after too and I feel like its never coming. ;-/
from barenaked500 :
MEN...who needs 'em???
from barenaked500 :
I always asked the question "what are you thinking?" ...and i still do. I just HAVE to know what THEY are thinking!
from barenaked500 :
$1.37!!!!!!!!!!! Are you NUTS? I pay $1.25 at the MOST. Usually its like $1.13 - $1.18. Katie, pack your bags and move to NY!
from barenaked500 :
You might make less money but how much does a gallon of gas cost you? ...i bet i pay more.
from the-grinch :
I joined your diaryring; the Bridget Jones one. Well, not yours per SE, but...yeah. I hate to be a shadow-fucker, but I really like Bridget's Diary. I hope it's okay. BTW, shadow-fucker is my term for a copycat. You know, acting like a shadow, mingling with your shadow..hehe. People ask me what I mean all the time, I created all my own terms. Er...I'll just shut up now, shall I??
from the-grinch :
Thanks so much for the tip, she did it for me and it looks excellent!! I hate to be so nosy/annoying/underfoot, but what are the guestsbooks like?? I'd like to get one, but I don't know if they're a lot of maintenance or what..
from barenaked500 :
BRAVENET WORKS AGAIN! *does happy dance*
from edduhduh :
I emailed you the banners already. If you didn't get them, please send me your current email and I'll send them again.
from the-grinch :
Hey, long time no see. I have a question. Does it cost anything to have that sort of layout?? I really need to spruce mine up a bit, it looks pretty shabby. Leave a note for me with the answer, okie?? Swift, thanks ^.^
from withopeneyes :
Sorry, i forgot to totally applaude you on putting Mellisa's painting on your page!!! She rocks and Brave, and free are my fav. paintings of hers!!
from withopeneyes :
NKOTB rock!!! Man when I used to collect the trading cards i was a psycho about it. At one point my sis even had a danny doll!! Crazy stuff. You should be proud to be a size twelve! Gosh if I was a size twelve i would be digging a pool in the yard to throw pool party's to show off in a bathing suit. Well, Your diary rocks!!
from edduhduh :
How funny you like here, and you've sent me notes. My roommate works for her managment company. He told her I was a fan of hers, and she sent me a couple of her paintings. The chicken one and the fish one. I have them up on my wall at home.
from edduhduh :
Tell me what you want, and send my what ever picket you want in it. Remember the area is kinda narrow so don't send anything that 5 inches toput in a 1 inch space. If you just want something that will show up on your pages only, then size doesn't matter. That's the only time you'll hear me say that sentence.
from edduhduh :
I made the banner myself using Photoshop. It's easym but if you need help, let me know.
from barenaked500 :
I could NEVER be a good actress...i have trouble remembering my name. Good luck Tuesday!
from katarinka :
I like it!! It's a good one. the 'choices' for the actor are easy to see. Just remember, you don't have to follow the staged directions (i.e. "standing"), it's actually recommended you don't. If you choose to stand, do so where you feel it would be the strongest! best of luck! ~katarinka
from katarinka :
ok...let's try this again...it's late..."the grad students are more than HAPPY to give advice" is what i tried to write?! haha! ~k
from katarinka :
for a 2 minute monologue...i'd head to a book store like barnes and noble and check their, just sit and read them all until you find one you like, or check the library...or talk to your teacher. I usually ask the grad students for ideas and they are more than welcome to give advice! I hope this helps!? ~katarinka
from barenaked500 :
OH! I've embraced it!!! ;o)
from barenaked500 :
Of course ill still be your friend! I'm embracing my dorkiness right now! ;o)
from barenaked500 :
im really happy for you! ;o) ...dork!
from barenaked500 :
Wayne is ehhhh...ill write about it in the letter im sending you. How is Mr. Jeremy!?!
from barenaked500 :
Jemima J is one of my fav. books! I love love love it!!! Mr. Maybe was okay...i was expecting a lot from that book so when it wasnt as good as wanted i got upset, lol. I get connected to these charecters!! And if you go to bravnet.com it explains whats going on...
from barenaked500 :
yea, something is wrong with bravenet...
from barenaked500 :
lovin' the brave layout!
from barenaked500 :
congrats on jeremy! *wink wink*
from katarinka :
I've been busy, but i just saw your new layout, i like it!!! hope theatre is going well...just sending a random hello and good luck note! ~katarinka
from barenaked500 :
That's whats scary about FB's - who knows what kind of people might write you!! I mean look what happened to you...you did it and now ya got some crazy girl in NY forcing you to play on the internet all day!! ;o) XOXO
from barenaked500 :
KATIE!! You are writing to convicts!!!! Wacko! No thank you...keep 'em all...i thought these were just nice boys who liked to pen pal - ha, who was i kiddding!
from barenaked500 :

from barenaked500 :

from the-grinch :
Yeah, Whatever and Ever Amen was the first CD by them I ever got. It is so great, I love every song on it!! I just got The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner, but I don't like it as much. My favorite songs on it are Don't Change Your Plans and Narcolepsy :)
from barenaked500 :
eeeeee! a melissa picture. i love love love her work!!!
from diarytag :
Glad to know you got it all figured out! Way to go.
from barenaked500 :
If you want i could try to change pictures for you. I'm pretty sure i could do it but I dont know how it would look...but whatever, it can always be changed back! So send me the info and ill do it whenever. ;o)
from mindspin :
sometimes we have to grow apart from our friends in order to truly grow as friends. it's like the saying that distance makes a relationship closer. when you're away, you miss them more. when you seem them all the time, you want to strangle them to death. friends..they come and go
from the-grinch :
Don't mention it ^.^
from the-grinch :
Your pic is cooly. I'm too much of a dunce to figure out how to get pics from my digital camera to my comp, but I desperately want to. Oh well, I'll just ask my dad.
from lucky-love :
Ok... That picture is HUGE and will not fit into the layout at all. What I would suggest, since you're getting 2 lines of links at the top of the page (the page is designed to have only one scrollbar and it is poor designing if you have to use two scrollbars to view the page, blah blah), is putting in a drop down menu. The drop down menu could have a link to your pic, diaryrings page, your favorite diaries, and sites you want to link, etc. Your main links will remain above the entry, and the drop down menu would be under the image. I played around with that picture for a while, and I can't do anything with it... Sorry.
from dancingstarr :
Hey thanks for your condolence. My friend, its strange, she used to not be like this, its just like when she's depressed or sad then she eats very little.....its not usually anorexia like symptoms but its getting closer and closer! so far she's been pretty happy so it isn't as bad but we're all watching out for her! thanks again, *Liz*
from diarytag :
you left a note and i'm not sure what it was supposed to mean. let us know if you need anything.
from barenaked500 :
Well, since you're my pen pal i guess i can tell you where i got my super-cool-guestbook! But its a secret...so SHHH. ;o) Just go to bravenet.com and sign up - its free - you can make it whatever color and have any kind of qustions too! Neato, right? Now go do it so i have something to sign!
from barenaked500 :
no...i dont think its pedophile-ish! its beautiful!!
from captainjane :
Hey Deetz, Youre a beautiful person. Looks won't get you anywhere unless you're planning on becoming a model like your dear friend Jessica. I love you, your sister....Sarah
from barenaked500 :
what a cute layout!! i love anne geedes (or geads or geades) ...its a nice picture!
from the-grinch :
I love the song Kate by Ben Folds Five!! It is one of my favorite songs ^.^ I've no idea why I'm posting this, but you said you liked Kate....oh boy, am I coherent...
from dancingstarr :
hey I'll take your advice and not watch the movie but I definately agree, Where the Heart is, IS a very good book and I reccommend it to anyone!
from lucky-love :
Hi, thanks for the note! Yeah, I can do layouts... Email me ( [email protected] ) if you want me to do a layout for ya. Just let me know what colors you like, what kind of pictures you might be interested it, and stuff like that and I'll start working on something for ya. I love doing layouts! :)
from barenaked500 :
Happy Valentines Day buuuuuuuddy! XOXO!!
from barenaked500 :
Isn't this addictive!?!
from barenaked500 :
Hi Katie!!! How are you? WHHEEEEEEEE, im so happy you started a diary! ;o)
from arriyah :
hey! thanks for the note. i'm becoming more and more superstious, mainly about relationships. i swear, every time i start writing about someone, it goes sour. bah i know i had a comment about something in one of your entries, but i forgot... i'm tired, so i'll get back to ya on that. :)
from katarinka :
The "Sally" monologue I have typed out is about 2 minutes, if you really get into it and let it affect you. I don't really know any off the top of my head, but i'll let you know if i find something!
from coffeestain :
I think my fave Alice Hoffman would have to be Here on Earth...despite the disturbing incest. Local Girls would be a close second. I see you listed Maeve Binchy also. Circle of Friends really is an amazing novel. Her characters are so rich. I haven't seen the Michelle Branch video for All you Wanted yet. It is a great song though. Mind if I list you in my favourites?
from katarinka :
Hello! My aunt always called me Katrinka, too, but when i signed up for AOL (a long time ago) someone had the name already, hence the extra 'a'. And the name stuck. anyway, I performed the "Sally" monologue for my intro to acting class in college last semester. It was for my final, i've used it for auditions, it's very unknown so that helps a lot, too. I do like the Chasing Amy one though, it's a good one if you have to do a quick monologue. Let me know how the class is going for you, i enjoy my theatre classes immensely, they are the only thing that get me out of bed when it's cold!
