Weird people in libraries. Yeah, we have them, too. There is this one guy, i call him creepy towel guy, because he comes in with a towel around his neck and stares at us all the time. Just sits at a table and stares. I found out that he is a schitzo and sometimes doen't take his medicine and he sometimes does the staring thing at the local banks, too. Yeah. Crazies and libraries. They kinda go together. Keep on trucking, though. Glad you like it there.

I am sorry you are having a hard time in the 'burg. It is hard to make plans when one person isn't good at planning. H/w getting rid of your loan debt is one of the smartest things you can do for the both of you. And if you need to work to continue to be sane than you need to listen to that. Because of the nature of the military his plans could change again. It may be that he cannot imagine what it would be like for you to be in TN or KY but once you have a job there and are working and things are fine then it will make sense to him too. I know you didn't ask for my advice but I wouldn't make yourself crazy in a place you don't want to be -- it isn't good for you or your relationship. Apply for the jobs you've found that interest you and see what happens. And if in six months if he really hates you being elsewhere then you can look at what to do then. Just a thought.

Oh, god, the rain. I am sooooooo tired of it. I had TWO WEEKS of total sunshine in the UK--and you get used to that. And now, every day, bleh. There's a new school starting in Lynchburg, an independent school that is democratic--no required classes, no "teachers" (they're called Staff), no curriculum. It's really different and I'm on the Assembly--my whole family is actually, and my brother is going there too--which is setting up the school. Anyway, I know you're bored and I kinda thought this would be right up your alley. If you want to send me an e-mail or an IM (norenhuxley), I can send you some info. It might relieve the boredom of your Thursday nights. Cheers!

My man used to be in the military, but left at the beginning of 2001. Now I hang on to him with both legs, even though he assures me he isn't going back. But I know how you feel. When he invites me to go out with him and his army buddies, I feel so out of place, whether there's other women in the group or not. Just no fitting in for me.
