| I was gonna read the entries and add a way involved, well thought out, compelling, interesting, intellectually stimulating response about the whole thing but I find myself growing suddenly tired and weary from a long day. You're right that Take Back the Night is not inclusive and that is jacked....but its not gonna change anytime soon. In our fucked up patriarchal, puritan based, violent, condescending culture women are seen as victims & men are seen as perpetrators or women are seen as prey and men as predators...that not gonna change anytime soon and until it does things like Take Back the Night won't be inclusive. Sometime we should philosophize about the whole...perferrably when we are both awake and coherent. -Paul |
