from prettye :
hey whast up hope we can talk later
from veryberry :
Oh, MAN! I loved that show! *laughs* And 'Hey, Dude'...I remember I used to watch that every afternoon before dinner. My mom hated it, I think. :P Aww...they have TVLand; why can't they make another channel for the old kids' shows? (though, I DID see an old episode of 'Legends of the Hidden Temple', or however that went, so that was pretty cool)
from preciousj :
I agree with your stance on Education classes. 99% of them are just a waste of time and even the professors know that. The catch is that they give you a butt-load of work to make you feel like you're getting your money's worth... but you're really not!
from mangofarmer :
Diet soda bothers me. It's the name. If you are actually on a "diet", shouldn't you be drinking something healthier than soda anyway?
from veryberry :
How many points do you have to have before you get one o' those gift cards? I'd forgotten that I was a member of mypoints AGES ago, but I re-enrolled after you mentioned your referral name. ;)
from preciousj :
What are you talking about nobody missed you?! You're terribly mistaken! I missed you! Glad you're back.
from veryberry :
*falls over laughing* Yeah, that CG rabbit *is* disturbing! For some reason, I think he's so cute (despite those horrid dreadlocks), but starting a romance with him? No, that's just wrong. :P I lurrrrrve that song, though! And I'm glad you had a good time at the concert! :D
from preciousj :
To Boston, maybe? O:-) lol
from preciousj :
That lame, lame boy! How DARE he date... and then tell you about it?! I say snatch Jonathan up. Ha. Make Blair wish he hadn't been such a ______ (fill in the blank as you please).
from veryberry :
*dances around with Cathie* Yay for the Boy calling you! Of course, us being on a parallel here, I know exactly how awesome it is to get to talk to the object of your affections. ;) And I'm also glad that college nonsense has been sorted out!
from preciousj :
School is the only thing I'm good at too. :-\ But it's also the thing that makes me most miserable! lol. Wanna trade? lol
from veryberry :
Power to the Cathinator!!! We're gonna show these guys we're a force to be reckoned with! ;)
from veryberry :
Aww, I'm sorry you've been feeling so down! *hugs* I loves you! Does that help? LoL :P
from preciousj :
Depression sucks, and don't I know it. Sometimes I stop eating (unconsciously) when I'm depressed too. I wouldn't call it anorexia, in my case. I hope you're ok. A little saying from Janet Jackson: "There's nothing more depressing than having everything and still feeling sad. You must learn to water your spiritual garden." So, I hope that you lift your spirits up and get out of that deep, darkness that you speak about. I'll keep you in my thoughts! P.S. Private LJ's are no fun for those of us w/o LJ! lol
from elvensea :
Cathie! You're so pretty, you really do look like Liv Tyler. I don't think I'd seen a picture of you before. You look really well in London.
from spare-change :
I'm sorry some boys are so utterly confusing and wishywashy. I hope things work out for you. Actually, I don't have to hope, because you're so awesome that I know things will work out splendidly.
from veryberry :
Wow. *envies* When I visited Brussels/Paris, I was supposed to go to London too, but I was 16 and homesick, so I wound up coming home early! X_X It's my goal to get back there someday. How much did it cost you to go? (I'll probably have to save up forever, lol!) Those pictures look awesome, by the way. :D
from veryberry :
Oo, have fun in London, Cathie! *hugs* I should've give you my address so you could send me a postcard. Hee hee ;) Seriously, though, be safe, have fun...and yay for getting things out in the open with the boy! :D
from mangofarmer :
Yay for Cathie. :)
from veryberry :
Little Caesars....Holy crap, it's been a looong time since I heard of them! We used to have one around here, but they shipped out ages ago. :P And as for the Reagan holiday thing...yeah, I think it's a little (read: a lot) on the silly side.
from veryberry :
"Somehow, it's lonelier knowing that he's not a mile up the road, even if I don't usually see him every day anyway." Dude, I know EXACTLY what you mean. I always thought it sounded kinda stupid, so I felt embarrassed to admit it, but it IS strange to know that he's not right there! Like last summer, or whenever it was, when Geoff went on a week-long vacation and I didn't even know where he'd gone. I felt like I'd suddenly been left completely alone! :P It's good to know that's a normal reaction, lol (I'm so inexperienced, hehe)
from mangofarmer :
Really now. Spoiler space!
from mangofarmer :
Did you also know that "they" say that you swallow two spiders a year without even knowing it? Amazing.
from veryberry :
Speaking of Laura...what has happened to her? *weeps* She locked one diary (did she lock her LJ too?), and she's nowhere to be found! Sorry, hehe...this is your diary, not hers. ;) You need to beat all those interlopers away with sticks so you and The Boy can be aloooone. ;)
from elvensea :
Ah. ::sighs:: Young love...
from slynn :
Maybe the finish wore off on your watch and the bare metal is exposed a little? That's happened to me before too.
from mangofarmer :
Gih. Thanks a lot, now I have to go to Wendy's. :-P
from veryberry :
Silverfish...eeeeeeeee....*shudders* We get those in the bathroom on the first floor, and they're nasty. Thankfully, living on the third floor has remained mostly bug-free (knock on wood), but I DID see a 'feather-legger' (as I call them) a couple weeks ago and I had the heebie-jeebies for ages afterward. X_X
from rstrip :
from laurelote :
Hey! Thanks for joining my {Captain!} Jack Sparrow diaryring, mate!
from preciousj :
Oh Cathie! Don't be a poet! There was an article on Yahoo! saying poets die younger than other writers. Don't do it, Cathie! It would make me sad. :'( By the way, other people need to start leaving you notes... I'm starting to feel like I'm taking over your notes page! lol
from preciousj :
Yes. Nightime = boredom & loneliness which = mind racing a thousand miles per minutes on stuff that makes you more lonely! If only daylight lasted the entire day...
from preciousj :
So nice of you to take Laura in! I'd love to have a friend like you!
from preciousj :
Yay for your date with Blair! Hope there's more!
from preciousj :
I don't know what having fluid in the tailbone feels like, but I do know chronic back pain. I've had scoliosis since I was in 8th grade, and there's nothing they can do to fix it. I still think that if they'd never told me, I may have never experienced the pain I do!
from mangofarmer :
Are you talking about the Soap Box Derby? My cousins did that when they were little. I think they may have gone to nationals, but I don't think they won. Just thought I'd share.
from penguincolor :
well, you can't turn it in for a prize on penguin color if you get a high score here, but it certianlly is more fun...http://www.boreme.com/bm/MAR04/a/f_pinguxtreme/fr.htm
from als-pals :
UGH! HATE when I try to sign a guestbook and it denies me! So, here ya go, my guestbook entry now in your notes section! I don't know how I came across your diary, but I did. Just wanted you to know I enjoy reading you, and that you're entries are never boring or "lame-ish". Hope you're feeling better about life soon!
from preciousj :
I, eh, borrowed your "kid to adult" posting for my xanga diary because I have friends on there who are going through sort of the same thing. Not being able to decide what to do while still in college and such. I did credit you, though not placing your name in the post for your own privacy. Hope you don't mind. If you do, I can remove it. Or if you'd like to see it, IM me at Hazurd 2 Miself for the link. Thanks!
from preciousj :
It IS hard to choose to be happy. Even when things are going well, I find it hard. It's always 10 times harder when things aren't so great. Hope you feel better soon!
from preciousj :
Sorry things aren't going well w/ the g-schools at the moment. :( But I still have faith that you'll get into your other choices. Keep your head up. There's a pot o' gold at the end of your rainbow!
from veryberry :
Oo, what a nifty idea, a handwritten journal entry online! I <3 it. And congrats on the 500th entry, too! *throws confetti*
from mangofarmer :
Woohoo! Happy 500! :)
from mangofarmer :
Pizza? Key lime pie? Dude, I'm there. :)
from preciousj :
Just wanted to say that I totally feel you on that "fear of rejection" thing. It's one of my greatest fears (that and death and dying alone. lol) And yes, often we attempt to live up to the person people think we are. It sucks, but we seem to do it anyways! And of course we'll continue to read and like you! You're awesome! :)
from lomelinde :
Thanks for clearing up that bit about the floor and "Not Myself" for me, and GOODNESS, I'd completely forgotten that he played behind his back too, and the lovely scatting he did along with what he was playing. How could I forget that? That was about when I decided, forget composure, and proceeded to an open-mouthed position for the rest of the night. That *was* the best concert. :)
from veryberry :
Where are all the commenters? XP I'm starting to look like a stalker, hehe...anyway, I was just wondering what shampoo you use that smells really good? 'Cause I like coconut-y things, and...yeah, if it's something I could buy too, I would be orgasmically happy. ;)
from veryberry :
Third time's the charm, baby! ;) Anyway, I'd like to say first of all that by your "This hanky is very nearly clean" quote, I was CERTAIN you were about to say that someone tried offering you a used handkerchief. Thank goodness you were just using it to lead into something different, lol! ;) And also...I had no idea you needed that many lines of credit for a house. Yeesh. Good thing I'm not buying a house any time soon, heh!
from veryberry :
Oo, yesh! The money codes, bwa ha ha! Well actually, I only know the rosebud (and the rosebud;:) ones...are there any that can get you more money at a time, so you're not spending 10 minutes just typing out codes? :P
from veryberry :
I've wanted to do that before too, lol! (the dagger thing, I mean, hehe) How about we take turns? First I'll sit at the table and act all surprised, and then you can. ;)
from mangofarmer :
Ah ha. Date. Woohoo?
from veryberry :
I am in complete agreement on the subject of pineapples. And Britney Spears. And I hope you get to go on that tour to the British Isles!
from pirates-life :
Oh my god! I didnt even know that there was another person on this planet that liked the Sabrina movies! Sorry, just the ramblings of somebody insane!
from sock-worm :
Hi, you love pirates of the caribbean i do too. Johnny depp is lovely. That is what you mean by pirates isn't it?
from voidmoonbeam :
I liked the story. I'm not sure what to say, but I thought it was really quite amusing.
from mangofarmer :
Egads! What will I have to read now? You people and your hiatuses (hiati?). :(
from acropolis :
Good luck on that test, then. Try not to injure yourself on those speedy go-carts before hand!
from veryberry :
That happens to me all the time, hehe...I'll be like, "I'll just shut my eyes during the commercials," and then I wake up hours later and I think, "Wow! Those were some long commercials!" Hee hee ;)
from acropolis :
How true it is that one can go to bed feeling sure of everything, then wake up the next morning and have confidence in nothing. It happens to me all too often.
from mangofarmer :
Linguistics = evil.
from veryberry :
I always cringe whenever someone says "supposably." And I realize that wasn't the point of your entry at all, but..."supposably" still bothers me. :P
from jason75 :
see where as I think of broddy as being in a bad mood... sort of simmering away about something!
from faithandhope :
just wanted you to know that i read every last word of "A tragically long entry" and it was fantastic! try to do it more often.. as in once in a fortnight or once a month
from faithandhope :

from mangofarmer :
What? Birthday? D'oh! Happy birthday.
from av0260 :
I've been a way all weekend... so happy late birthday!
from jason75 :
hugs sweet... sometimes life needs to be punk'd right back
from veryberry :
Aww, poor Cathie! *hugs* I didn't mean the 'big bad B' comment to be insulting, hehe, it's just that I spent high school getting C's and D's, so to me a B is still nothing to sneeze at. :-P Forgive me? ;)
from thatmarygirl :
definitely.
from elvensea :
Aww Cathy! *sniffle* Lo' prolly forgot that you are REALLY whats preventing her from Minn. because shes sick! ;P Aww, I like you.
from mangofarmer :
That is, that would be the result of doing all those things. Like I did. Yeah. It wasn't pretty.
from veryberry :
One of my friends back home is going to be taking the GRE this month...it's like 4 hours long! X_X And why IS it that nobody ever gets their Master's in the same place as their Bachelor's degree? I always wondered about that. It makes more sense, to me, to just stick to the same spot if they offer a Master's in what you want! But then again, what do I know? :P
from izzabel044 :
I LOVE JOHN MAYER...i think he has a sexy voice and he is soo good at playing guitar and that makes him even more SEXIER....he is just SEXY SEXY SEXY
from princessreva :
I don't take the Flash to University because it goes nowhere I need to go, but I have this feeling that it must be exotic because I never get to take it... I think I may ride it over an over again tomorrow just because I can...
from princessreva :
hey, are you doing anything tonight? because I'm jonesing a dollar movie for some wacky reason... just e.mail me if you want to - [email protected]... if not, don't sweat it:) - I have granny panties that need washing.... woohoo!! Go Saturday night!!
from av0260 :
:) thank you :)
from veryberry :
Ooo, two in a row! ;) Anyway, I just wanted to say that I almost bought that lamp at Walmart. The only thing that kept me from buying it was the fact that there was another one right beside it that was cheaper. And, not having a job, I had to sacrifice quirkiness for a few dollars saved. :P I will just enjoy the quirky lamp vicariously through you, that's all. *grins*
from veryberry :
Ee! Miss Cathie, I hope you feel better soon! *hugs*
from mangofarmer :
Adventure is good. I cite my current situation as a prime example. :)
from princessreva :
you know, that's really funny because I went to DIsneyland in the 35th year and I got a button too!! how odd is that?? oo, 'll be in Arimazona on Friday night! Watch out!
from mangofarmer :
You know what other city is disturbingly clean? Toronto. It's weeeeeird. Anywho, thanks for all the encouraging messages. I'm off sometime this afternoon. :)
from av0260 :
The magic eight ball says it's time for cathie to feel better!
from jason75 :
you are well loved.. miss finding you online for a chat! must be due again soon
from av0260 :
Oh Cathie, you know I like you. ;) Don't you worry, I am just a very angry boy right now.
from sadnow :
Hey, I am a random reader who found your diary and really enjoyed it. I'm sorry your 300th entry had to be about dress codes but maybe your 400th entry talk about balloons or something else super duper. Great diary, I like it a lot <3<3 -Carrie PS, ultra lovely layout :)
from av0260 :
I apologize for my apparent antisociality - my internet seems to be angry at me and wont stay connected for more than five lines of AIM exchange. Blarg! I think I'm going to disconnect it and try something else.. Peh. Meh. Blarg.
from av0260 :
Oh, you know it.
from av0260 :
Sorry, I would have been to yours a whole lot sooner, but my internet decided to crash and give me problems for, well, the past two hours and I've been banging things around my room the entire time. Argh. :(
from veryberry :
I'm so glad you had fun at the concert! :) And by the way...when exactly DO you use 'that' and 'which'? I've given up all hope on ever being able to use commas properly, but it would be nice to break at least ONE bad English habit!
from squirrelx :
You don't know how much I'd love to use the shower curtain rod for bra dryin' purposes. Unfortunately, lingerie hangin' from the rod is one of David's very few pet peeves in life so I'm investigatin' other methods. Anyway ... about your hip. Have you ever thought about accupuncture? I was whaled on quite a bit while I was growin' up and it seriously affected my back. I thought I was pretty much doomed to a life of pain 'til I had accupuncture done. I swear to God, it's miraculous. Warmest regards, Xtine
from cheaptrick8 :
i saw "pirates of the carabbean" on thursday night. that had to be one of the best movies i have seen in....well a while. i have to say, ur absolutly right in not being able to choose who to make out with. jonny depp looks damn fine in that eye-liner, and orlando bloom is just freakin hot.
from blue-satin :
aww *blushes* thank you so much! you already know i think you're awesome. and i hope you enjoy the stuff. you earned it!
from av0260 :
I had no idea :)
from av0260 :
I know, I could get those books outta the way in a week if I really were to buckle down and read... I've actually already read bits and pieces of each one... but I'd rather save them for the extremely boring evenings back in PA. hehe.
from janland :
(Arg *kicks signmyguestbook*) :p You just can't bear to be left out when I've pinched a nerve in my back! Actually, as I'm suffering from that right now, you have my utmost sympathy. I was stretching out on our new recliner armchairs, which go almost flat, and then couldn't get up...and then I hobble around like a 90 year old or a heavily pregnant lady! Sheesh, what a pair of geriatrics we are! *hugs*
from mangofarmer :
Eh, you must be tired of cacti. I don't blame you. In these heah pahts, one gets tired of the ever-ubiquitous maple trees. What is this, Canada or something? Bah. ;)
from psianina :
"heinous" makes me laugh cos it reminds me of bill and ted, and their excellent adventures.
from psianina :
I had over $35 extra charges on my phone bill for text messaging. Oops. And my Burt's Bees became MIA yesterday.
from intheory27 :
Welcome to the English Majors' ring. :) Lovely to have you!
from av0260 :
Thank you :) I enjoy readers, even when I'm being depressed and lonely. And okay, Fox DOES have the Simpsons and my daily dose of Seinfeld reruns... but other than that, they're just the epitome of bad television. :)
from ravenlochlea :
We must band together to save Laura!
from elvynwitch :
Your diary rocks!
from elvensea :
You know, I think I will find one of him dressed as Mr. Furious from "Mystery Men". He was pretty dern attractive that night...mm hmm.
from ravenlochlea :
Thank you so much for letting me know that someone actually reads my diary. That makes me happy! You will find someone, even if it gets tough, you can make it through it all.
from psianina :
yeah, boys are stupid. and what thinking style quiz?
from psianina :
oooooooooh I want a shirt that says I spent St. Patrick's Day at the Library!
from eowyn28 :
I was watching the news days ago and I saw how people are protesting against the war. I'm really against the war, I don't know why human kind always find that the best way of solving things is fighting against each other, is easier that way, than sit down and find logical solution. But well that's just my opinion. xoxo, eowyn
from psianina :
dude. you just told me "peace out." That's exactly what I said to Grant the last time we talked. quit being like me! haha
from eowyn28 :
That's very cool!, I think you must like that guy very much... he is very hot I don't blame you. So good luck with your quest. xoxo, Eowyn
from eowyn28 :
Can I ask you a question? What did you mean the Collin Farell plan? I can tell you one thing the guy is pretty hot... I like to see him in Minority Report he was pretty cool I really wan to see the Recruit... and Daredevil I have seen the guy talking in interviews and he is really crazy. xoxo, Eowyn
from eowyn28 :
Forgive for all my writting errors, my native language is spanish... no soy americana but I also speak english and write it too... xoxo Eowyn
from eowyn28 :
Thanks for leaving me a note :)you are the first person who leaves me a note. Well we do I start I'm not only stressed because my work and my modeling classes and my studies but what got my worry is my weight even though I'm loosing wait I see myself getting fatter and believe me I don't want to turn out to be a anorexic... so I talked with my mom we created a diet plan and I'm going to take it eary... soon the modeling classes will be over and I will have time to dedicated myself to train my body and get ready for the advances classes on August... well thanks for leaving me a note... :) you make my crappy valentine day xoxo Eowyn
from psianina :
I know. :/ That's the first thing I did when I got home the day we exchanged usernames. I took it off the profile then, but of course google probably won't update that search for ever. I'm quite sure he's internet savvy enough to know about Google, but nothing I can do about it! =S Hopefully he's smart and doesn't look, hehe. Or if he does look, hopefully he doesn't think I'm a freaky stalker and proceed to shun me. Maybe he ego will be stroked and he'll like me more for it, eh?
from writemylife :
hey...yeah, i thought i had told you guys that my email is fucking up, so i can't get to the folder where i put all of your assignments. i'm still working on it. this university really sucks when it comes to repairing computers. i apologize and may just have to go ahead and score assignment 3 and then score assignment 2 whenever i can get to it...sorry! i'm trying! ~E~
from psianina :
I could try making a layout for ya :) You could email me the picture and I'll see what I can do!
from psianina :
holy carp. Michael Vartan and Ethan Hawke on the same show.
from psianina :
Totally agreed with # 12.
from boogabooga :
I actually finished "The Bluest Eye" yesterday. I read it in two days. Couldn't put it down, it was great (though sad, and I felt really bad for Pecola).
from psianina :
Yep! Give it to him/her/Ud. Sorry I haven't answered your email yet, been a bit busy. And it's only going to get worse! =S
from psianina :
I love James Taylor! My mom has all his CDs. She's been a fan of his since he started out. And I want to see Chicago. I dunno if she's such a great actress, but I wish I looked like CZJ.
from psianina :
Do you think people wait outside for 20 minutes in January in Chicago in zero degree windchill? Many other cities have extreme weather besides Phoenix, and they still manage. But you're right about the Valley being too spread out. I wish CGCC had a better class schedule :/ then I could take my classes there and not have to drive straight into the thick of traffic!
from lacuervo :
I like that Wendy's looking logo you have on top of your diary. I think that's neat. Take Care.
