from musicman6724 :
I hope you had a good Christmas, Catie! And I wish you a much happier 2009!!
from musicman6724 :
Just saw your entry from a few days ago. I was really shocked, and sorry to hear about that. Like you, though, I will continue to support the work of A.S., as I believe they are doing a good thing. I hate to see you get hurt by these decisions, though. Hopefully, you will find something just as fulfilling soon. God bless and Merry Christmas!
from mugwhump :
Merry Christ my good friend!
from mugwhump :
Hugs!
from johnguinness :
Sorry, I've changed gmail accounts a couple of times since then.
from musicman6724 :
Hang in there, Catie. I'm praying for you.
from mugwhump :
Catie - how do you do it? How do you find these kinds of situations?
from musicman6724 :
Catie, I'm so sorry that happened to you. Relationships can be so difficult sometimes. Hang in there.
from mugwhump :
Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!
from musicman6724 :
It's a great book, isn't it? I need to get a copy of Running With Scissors, now. Looks like his brother has written quite a few books.
from mugwhump :
Beautiful, and now I see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
from chicagojo :
I'm starting to hate the Chevy Malibu because I play that damn commerical so much ;)
from musicman6724 :
Just posted a donation for you. Wife wouldn't let me donate as much as last year, though. Heh. I didn't clear that with her first...but at least it's something. I hope you make your goal. And YOU'RE the one that's awesome. <3
from musicman6724 :
Catie, it's people like you who continue to give us hope. I still remember that day you called me and woke me up to tell me that they were voting on the Combating Autism Act in Congress. That meant a lot to me. I'll talk to my wife to see what kind of support we can offer this year.
from mugwhump :
Very intersting .... now I know more than you think! ;-)
from musicman6724 :
Hey! It's you! Great to "see" you again. You still with Autism Speaks? Heh. That was quite a conversation you shared with us. I like how you made him define "it."
from mugwhump :
What a fantastical story. Thank you for posting it. God bless, and a very merry Christmas and exciting Christ filled 2008.
from mugwhump :
I got your Christmas card and letter yesterday. You rock sister-friend!!! Love ya and big hugs, and a very Merry Christmas! LJ
from musicman6724 :
I miss you. Come back...I hope you are doing well.
from mugwhump :
My Miss Catie! Happy Turkey day, I hope you are spending it with special people who love you.
from mugwhump :
I would absolutely LOVE to come visit you. I've never seen that neck of the woods. But alas .... finances are rarely on my side.
from mugwhump :
Catie - do you have a certain New Mexican boy coming to visit you???
from mugwhump :
It's true - time will heal things. But in the meantime - there is a lesson in the pain that must be felt. Hugs!
from hibiscus101 :
absolutly know how your feeling. *hug* hope it gets better soon.
from mugwhump :
Let me guess .... your a Rhys Bowen fan, aren't you.?! LOL Mystery's or what?
from musicman6724 :
That was heartbreaking. Plus it made me ashamed to be a male. Grr...
from mugwhump :
Well written. Sounded theraputic to me. Hug Hugs from this side of the continent!
from hibiscus101 :
*hug* what a crap ass boy. thats one moving note. i hope he knows hes missing out on greatness. *hug*
from mugwhump :
Nice to hear from you again. I'm sorry about the weight. I LOL about the crush. I'm sorry you were sick. I love the list. I send multitude of hugs at you!!!
from musicman6724 :
Calorie counting. Pft. I suggest...HIGHLY recommend...weight watchers. Yeah, you have to pay, but it's the only really successful weight loss program out there. And, if you follow it (it really isn't hard at all), it WORKS! I've lost almost 40 pounds this year.
from mugwhump :
You read my mind.
from mugwhump :
I feel like I'm having de ja vu (sp?). Didn't you right an entry just like this about a year ago????
from mugwhump :
And you're not even in your 40's yet. That's something to look forward to in a couple of years. Everyday - no reason - just flatulence - you'll wish you had a air freshner strapped to your butt!
from hibiscus101 :
hey! i just gave money to autisim speaks. yep yep yep. my neice and i gave $1 each with our cute lil Mumble's we got for easter :)
from mugwhump :
Huge hugs, and I am jealous. I don't have the guts to take belly dancing class. I'm a chicken=shit - plain and simple.
from musicman6724 :
Oh, yeah....and shake that bon-bon, baby!!! Hahahahahah.....
from musicman6724 :
I'm right there with you, my friend. My faith is, well, weak right now. It won't ever disappear, because "I know whom I have believed..." But I'm not on the right path at all right now. Stories like yours encourage me because I realize I'm not alone. Grace and peace, Catie!
from chicagojo :
Play on, playa.
from mugwhump :
Thank you so much for the note, and the phone call. I cannot express how much I appreciate your staying up so late for little ol' me. You're an awfully special lady! Hugs - LJ
from fightn4life :
I am so sorry, so very sorry. I understand all the confusion and guilt you are feeling, please trust this was not your fault, nothing you could have done. There is a part of us that no one journeys except us, each of us have a place that is ours alone we share only a portion of our bleakest thoughts. So many people talk of being “tired” ready to give up, words that could be cries for help. It isn’t until someone acts upon a negative verbal comment that we stop and take all the guilt, we wonder why we didn’t stop it, understand more, and be there more. This is all part of the grieving, you will get back together with the group that meant so much to you and you have as much reason for grief as others that knew him longer. Some people come into our lives for a short time and make a lifetime change for us. I do wish time healed as many say but loss of a loved one changes your life forever. Look for the positive changes they are there and when the tears stop you will understand you were blessed to have this friendship. My husband’s daughters took her life a year ago this month…we still wish we had known what was going on in her world, that private one that never said a word. My prayers are with you, Sandyz
from mugwhump :
I love you. I send many long hugs.
from hibiscus101 :
**big hug**
from musicman6724 :
Oh, my God....I'm so sorry, Catie. I know people sometimes say this who don't have a clue what they are saying, but it's possible that I might come close to knowing how you feel. When I was a junior in high school, my best friend in the whole world took his life one Saturday morning. I had no clue that he was facing things that would cause him to do this, and he was my freakin' BEST FRIEND! To this day, 30+ years later, if I think about it for too long, I start crying. They say time heals all, but I don't know. I don't think I ever got over that. I know...I'm supposed to be encouraging, here...and the one thing that I can say positively is that, no matter how much guilt you might feel, it wasn't your fault. It wasn't my fault. But it kind of wakes you up in a really harsh way to maybe try to pay more attention to what people might be feeling. Did that sentence make any sense? Love to you, Catie. Praying for you. Right now.
from nycme :
I'm so sorry.
from mugwhump :
I probably say this every time you update, but ..... its so lovely to read you again. And although you may not see it - there is a difference in your writing. A clearer, happier, more positive way about your words. You are in God's hands firmly = He's not going to let you go!!! (side note: we have to connect on the phone soon, I've missed talking to you)
from mugwhump :
Dear Heart. For some reason (from God I'm sure) you have not strayed from my thoughts much over the last couple of weeks. I'm so glad you updated, this reassures me your still out there. 2007 is going to be a fantastic year for you!! God loves you and so do I.
from myownjourney :
I hope you have a beautiful Thanksgiving. Even with all the crap in our lives, we still got it pretty good, you and I. Right? Right. Stop arguing with me. It's Thanksgiving. ;-) Love ya Catie girl.
from musicman6724 :
Oh, no. You're *gasp* growing up! Stop that this instant!! HAHAHAHA....(I refuse to grow up, by the way...)
from mugwhump :
Face it girl! You are no longer wow'd by the hugeness of the internet. It's time to find a new hobby that you can run down all the new rabbit trails. That or a visit to the West Coast .... a tiny island off British Columbia ....
from nycme :
I'm sorry you're going through a hard time. I missed your whole move (I think I was AWOL) so I've been catching up recently. Hugs to you~
from myownjourney :
Have mentioned lately that I think your swell?
from mugwhump :
Very wise words, but equally hard to live with. Most'y because we are all faulty, and we forget that others are faulty too. Hugs and thanks for sharing this great list.

from hibiscus101 :

from mugwhump :
You were SOOO on my mind yesterday. Now I know why. Blessings, ang hugs all over you!!!
from kitchenlogic :
Thanks for the kind hair kudos catie! I wore out my last black chucks and hadn't thought about replacing them but now that you suggested they'd go well with my hair, it's time for a replacement!
from mugwhump :
Excercise is such sweet sorrow. Frankly - I'm not a fan - morning or evening. You'll do the 30 lbs. I have complete faith in you.
from chicagojo :
Will $50k do it for ya then? http://www.bodyforlife.com/media/images/challenge/2006ChallengeKit.pdf
from hibiscus101 :

Damn. Another one lost to the wilds of Atlanta and relationships! ;-) Good luck Ms. Catie.
from mugwhump :
Life is a learning curve - and it really never stops. Well actually - it will stop - but by then it won't matter. I have complete faith in you. You WILL make this move good! +++++++ Awesome to talk to you on Saturday. I needed it. :-)
from hibiscus101 :

from mugwhump :
Nice to have you back. Glad your time away was good. Now I understand why I couldn't get you on the phone.
from hibiscus101 :
YAY!
from mugwhump :
Sounds like you're feeling better. That's great. I tried to call you last week (can't remember which week day evening), but you don't have an answering machine.... I tried. :-)
from hibiscus101 :
first off: you are an amazing writer. 2nd: yay! for happy things with drummer. you deserve that dahlin. and 3rd. HOLY FUCK YOU RAN IN A 5k!!! I envy you! That's in my head, in the inner list of things to do, run again. I havn't since I was 14 but I rememeber how much I loved it. Good for you! You rock! Your Kick Boooooo-tay! ;)
from hibiscus101 :

from hibiscus101 :

from mugwhump :
Yes - you can say "horny" on your blog. You can say whatever you want on YOUR blog. I just hope your 'crush' doesn't read your blog or you'd make your crush blush! ;-)
from myownjourney :
I totally read that whole entry....
from coffeegrind :
You've been going through a heckuva lotta changes lately. No wonder you feel so overwhelmed! Hang in there!
from myownjourney :
First thing you do is, go to the Starbucks on the corner of the street, (whichever one, they're on every corner) buy yourself a Venti Carmel Frappacinno. Drink it. Drink all of it. Revel in the tasty goodness. Now, look up. At the ceiling or sky, whichever fits, and take a deep breath, and then scream as loud as your vocal cords can handle for as long as you have breath. Pay no attention to the people staring at you or pounding on your door. The next thing you do, is smile, and remember, life is just a series of moments... and its all gonna be okay. :-)
from mugwhump :
Oh Catie - I could have written this entry for myself. My prayers today are for you. :-)
from coffeegrind :
You're supposed to share it with us and maybe we'll be able to help you out by just listening! Come back Catie!
from mugwhump :
Did I miss your birthday? Shoot!!! Anyway - rumour has it you've been talking to Ricky. Will you share your number with me?
from chicagojo :
HAPPY B-DAY! HAPPY B-DAY! HAPPY B-DAY!
from mugwhump :
You do know that Loves Jesus is not my real name. The summer day camp staff dubbed me that a couple of years ago. I like it.
from mugwhump :
Phewwww - you didn't fall off the face of the earth. Are you all moved now? I've missed you. Please catch us all up soon. :-)
from musicman6724 :
Heheh...I take it you don't like the Red Sox? I cheer for the Texas Rangers the rest of the time. They're the home team for us.
from cdghost :
enjoyed your words and layout
from hibiscus101 :
I LOVE YOUR COAT!!! you sound like you had a great time! yay for vacations and weddings:)
from myownjourney :
Your such a cool modern, worldly woman! And it sounds like alot of fun. I'm glad your life is going good Ms. Catie. :)
from hibiscus101 :
YAY!She's back:) Have a great vacation dahlin:):):) triple grins wooohooo
from mugwhump :
Glad to have you back. I've missed you!
from musicman6724 :
I just read your entry from 2-10. So what happened?? Are you moving to Cleveland?
from mugwhump :
Catie - it's been 18 days - where are you???
from myownjourney :
Happy Valentines Day
from mugwhump :
Wow Catie, that certainly looks like God's hand moving. I will be praying for you over the weekend (and right now for that matter). I am a firm believer in laying out a sheep skin (metaphorically), and I would suggest that you do this with something that has absolutely nothing to do with the Browns, Joe Savage, or this opportunity. Keep it between you and God and stand back and watch. I would be glad to talk with you if you'd like to talk through this with someone. Blessings - LJ
from mugwhump :
Thank you for sharing that. Thank your mom for sharing with such honesty. I pray she can use her testimony greatly.
from musicman6724 :
No judging from this corner! We all make poor choices from time to time. Anyone who claims they don't...well, either lies or fools themselves. Ragamuffins...that's what we all are. That's what grace is about. And it gives us the motivation to keep trying. Because God loves us with a furious love. Rich Mullins called it a "reckless, raging fury." That's the love of God. Hang in there, girl!
from hibiscus101 :
your archives are mean:(
from melissaerin :
Thank goodness, at least I'm not alone in my paranoid-about-contact-solution insanity! I do it with other things, but especially contact solution and toothpaste...I have an "extras" cabinet, where backup products await use, and I never remember to check it before shopping. If a natural disaster strikes NC, I won't have water to drink, but I'll have clean contacts and sparkling teeth! I've also got an abnormal amount of chili powder, oregano, Old Bay seasoning, and poppy seeds.
from hibiscus101 :
first off Natflix is a God Send! I adore my netflix.:) and now! I am so right with you on the panty thing. I feel sexier when I'm wearing my gorgeous black lace back bra and panties then I do in a full length gownt hat fits me perfect. Jus tknowing its on me puts a lil spring in my step. just like i think my apparant need to be skanky this weekedn has soemthing to do with my "its nice to be naughty" boy shorts i have on today.;) enough about my underwear. have a good night!
from mugwhump :
I so hear you regarding 'random' purchasing. I've lost count of the times I've bought sock, or underwear or shampoo only to find out that I really didn't need them. My husband, on the other hand, is a glutton for 2 for 1 sales. We've only just finished the second large bag of sugar that he bough over 3 years ago. Admittedly, I haven't needed to buy sugar in a long time, but ...
from coffeegrind :
I bought a spiral binder years ago and have hardly ever used it! Silly me! It does wire-binding on the top and plastic binding on the bottom. I should be ashamed of myself!
from mugwhump :
No Catie, you don't want to be the "deer" you either end up being a trophy head on the wall, or venison in the freezer. Neither spot is particularly pretty. However, if you get to be the one that helps buy the hunters clothing - well then honey' that's when you can make sure that all the other deer see him and run!!! And you get the hunter all to yourself.
from hibiscus101 :
damn weather screwing with your potential hotness! mean! but atleast your SBC wasn't on the bus after all of the crazy dirty icky NYC weather huh? heehee big huge woohoo yay for the CK skirt. I love when shit like that happens. and another yay for pilates. *jealous* i love pilates. and i have a ton of the workout tapes at home so why am i jealous..i coudl go do it heehee. and! i love that book*grin* here's hoping your night goes much better than yeasterday.
from mugwhump :
Well done list. Can't wait to read it in three years when you've accomplished it. And you will!!!
from nycme :
Hey I'll walk across the Brooklyn Bridge with you. I've never done that. And then you can knock #53 and #70 from your list!
from hibiscus101 :
what a lovely list of goals. i've been wanting to write one of those forever. 101 seems like such a big number for some reason. :) have a good night!
from mugwhump :
Don't go lowering your standards on men, but don't forget they have standards of their own. When the "right for you" one comes along ... you'll know it.
from hibiscus101 :
*Happy Holidays*
from mugwhump :
I got your card Catie. Thanks loads. Funny, that's exactly the style of card I thought a Catie-dids would send :-). Merry Christmas!
from hibiscus101 :
ooo i love that part!
from hibiscus101 :
RITE-AID- WALMART AND CVS SEL LITTLE CLUSTERS OF MISTLETOE FOR LIKE 2 BUX. ;)
from mugwhump :
Party sounds like fun. I wish I could come. I've got to pop into Pier 1 more often, but frankly - the place scares me - I'll want to buy every other thing.
from chicagojo :
Go to the dollar store to look for candles.
from hibiscus101 :
oooh sounds pertyful!
from nycme :
Hope you're feeling better. Lots of steam helps the bronchial and throat ailments. Keep your shower running hot til your windows fog up or boil pots of water all day long. And keep your neck warm when you go out!!! :)
from hibiscus101 :
love the new layout.
from theswordsman :
I haven't been able to access your workout calendar since I switched computers, so I have no idea what you've been up to. E-mail??? John
from hibiscus101 :
flowers are fun. i have a habit of looking on proflowers.com and picking out my favorite arrangements. :)
from coffeegrind :
I didn't know that You were the same Catie as the Catie who signed my MAP. How funny is that?! (It's the Mad Cow that confuses me!)
from melissaerin :
I like Caroline, and I also like Cate. :o) Pretty names! Hope you're having a lovely Thanksgiving weekend! xoxoxo
from mugwhump :
Cathleighanne is an interesting name. But remember that your child will have to go about their lives constantly spelling their name out to people. And even then, they'll still get it wrong. Catie - I like - one of my favourite nieces! :-)
from chicagojo :
What's wrong with having a Catie Jr? There are always John Jrs without anyone giving it a second thought.
from mugwhump :
Would a face to face not work? But then again, if it were me (and I know its not) I would probably write a letter as well. It just seems easier. Please keep us posted on how this turns out. I wish you well.
from theswordsman :
Thanks Catie. Just between you and me, I'm shooting for Wyoming by January 1. It'll be a push. Take care. John
from williamtells :
All is well. I've been traveling a lot for work, and we have an internet use policy that means I don't surf the web at work, and I've just lagged behind. Thanks for the book signing however.
from hibiscus101 :
*HAPPY HALLOWEEN*
from lovemyfriend :
.. thats quite an online chat, looks like you have a good friend there .. I can appreciate how you are feeling to.
from hibiscus101 :
(((HUG))) remember to smile. find something to laugh at and smile.
from lovemyfriend :
Hi, its me (summersands), I've moved to a new diary at: http://lovemyfriend.diaryland.com - thanks for checking in on me ;)
from catkid1 :
Hey there. I don't know you, but I'm always getting (or used to get) Diaryland spam with your Diaryland name in the subject (haha, no clue why) and just thought I'd drop by and see who you were. Woot. Hope you have a good day.
from hibiscus101 :
so my reaction was aww.awww.and aww like fifteen times, which would be better understood if you could hear the differnt inflections and such, ha! but omg! you two are so adorable together and he is quite handsome. just keep faith that everything will work out for the best. :)
from hibiscus101 :
Yay!! so excited for you! and that dress is absolutly fantastic, i dont think it's too dressy at all.
from myownjourney :
Ms. Did's, I certainly wish you speed and luck. Be careful .......
from razor-vixen :
I think you'll look pretty & elegant in it. No, it's not too dressy. Just the right length. If you had more time you could have gotten it fitted...but I'm sure it'll still look great with the cardigan!
from chicagojo :
You know where I stand on this. I hope everything turns out okay, but I'm worried...
from mugwhump :
I think you really need to go shopping, and pick up that Barbie Bible I told you about. That would lift your spirits, and dispell all confusion. :-) LJ
from chicagojo :
I agree with myownjourney. Don't get shot. If not invited, don't go. You can always change those reservations for tickets to Houston to watch them play the World Series against the Sox. Whoot!
from myownjourney :
You realize Bonnie and Clyde were shot down on a back country road....? I'm just saying.... ;)
from chicagojo :
I'm pretty well recovered from Sunday's mega run. It's back on, Catie!
from mugwhump :
I'm having exercise envy, but not enough to get off my duff and just do it! Way to Go Girl!!! (P.S. Did you find a new Bible yet?)
from mugwhump :
It sounds like you've got a very good grip on life. Just continue to hold on. That and an accountability partner!! Baby - you could tackle anything!!! :-)LJ
from myownjourney :
Starbucks charges way too much for everything ..... luckily I can get my pumpkin spice cofeee at the local quick mart for a buck fifty, through the automatic machine... I'm just saying ... :)
from chicagojo :
Maybe you can find a new test and an old test split up. That's the only way I can think of the book being small enough to carry around.
from hibiscus101 :
OMG! you said fancy that. ha! i say that in my head more often than out loud cause every time I do i just feel liek a dork. but im weird like that. I've been attempting to read teh Bible more often too. I have 2 (a KJV and everyday Catholic) one-a-day bibles. So they break it up into one passage from NT one from OT and a psalm. I love that but as far as one to carry around. I saw an adorable leather bound pocket bible at Border's (they also have em at Barnes & Nobles) and thought it was great. And the new standard seems crazy interesting as far as the million versions of the Bible goes..
from mugwhump :
I found you through Ricky at "My Own Journey", and read today's entry. Regarding knowing you're "The One": I'm not sure its so much as knowing your 'the one', as knowing you're 'the one' for them. Does that make sense? And regarding a new bible. There are just tooooo many to chose from, but I had to laugh when I was looking for some bibles for the kids at our church. Did you know the now have an NIV Barbie Bible? Yes - its' true. You never knew Barbie was a bible-thumper did you? Neither did I. > LJ
from summersands :
.. thanks, hope your day is a good one as well ;)
from myownjourney :
Try tomato juice. We used to use it all the time to get skunk stink off of us. And I'm pretty sure that's a little more long lasting than onions....... And hey, I hope you feel better there kiddo.
from nycme :
It would be fun to get together for a drink! re: gracie mansion - I always skulk around the outside as I love the historic NYC houses, but I've never yet managed to get on or tour or inside...it's on my todo list!
from nycme :
I start too many paragraphs with So... or Anyway..., but I think that diaries are conversational so I let myself get away with it. :)
from citizenjane :
no offense taken. of course, i haven't used a check for over year - online billpay is a godsend.
from thehoneypot :
i read your entry in rick's journal .. i love going to the feast also,, i too live in new york.. about a hour from the city out on long island .. small world
from nycme :
Your new checks are great. Very retro. I have my personal checks in a binder, three to a page, and they are blue (we used to have yellow - I don't remember when that changed) and each one has a slightly different pinstripe. Very daring, no?
from razor-vixen :
They are very funky cheques! I just have the plain ones, too cheap to pay extra for a pattern!
from kitchenlogic :
I want geometric checks! Those are awesome!!!! Wouldn't you know it, I just got four dang boxes of Blue Safety duplicates. Boring!!!
from chicagojo :
I hear ya with the checks. I gave up and got the freebie checks from my bank. There's no use in even trying. I write several checks a month for the mortgage, cell phone, student loan, association fees, and electricity -- leaving Discover as my only online payment.
from nycme :
You're funny. I absolutely can picture you saying "I am hydrated" on 14th Street. It sounds a bit sci-fi. I've been saying "I am hydrated" all day. It's definitely cooling. Not to mention making me pee every fifteen minutes! :)
from razor-vixen :
RE: graphic design, I would suggest a private college program. More specialized. Just google "graphic design schools" or this link: http://www.graphic-design-schools.com/
from chicagojo :
Card shark, all right. I like this layout fine, but I really liked the old layout.
from absdiet4life :
catie-dids, you definitely have my prayers
from absdiet4life :
Bee, you've definitely got my prayers ..
from hibiscus101 :
omg definitly add them to my prayers tonight. :) i hope they'll be fine.
from hibiscus101 :
your so adorable! your chicagojo entry was great!!so adding you:)
from nycme :
Aren't labs great? I've got a yellow lab. She's just about 13 years old and still the sweetest, most loyal and humble dog I've ever known.
from chicagojo :
I've always said that it was my duty to eat pie for dinner since I have no one to set an example for!
from myownjourney :
I heart you right back ther Ms. Dids.
from melissaerin :
I'll second chicagojo on the "no Tresor!" I use Tuscany (a bottle I still have from the DAVE days), and I love--but cannot afford to spend money on at the moment--Ralph Lauren Romance and Carolina Hererra 212. For men...nothing melts me like Acqua di Gio. I swear, I can pinpoint that scent in a bar and zero in on the guy wearing it! ;o) (If in fact, I was still zeroing in on guys in bars...)
from melissaerin :
Just checking in, as I haven't left you a message in awhile. ;o) Sounds like you're well! If you are in the market for new sheets, and have Bed, Bath, and Beyond up in your area, I would recommend something called "Pure Beech." They have regular and sateen--I have the regular, and they are absolutely the SOFTEST sheets I have ever touched! Hard to get out of bed when I'm using those!
from chicagojo :
I hear ya with Tresor. Benito would be shit outta luck if he liked it. It makes my eyes water. If you're looking to get some, though, try eBay. All perfumes there are so friggin cheap.
from myownjourney :
Yadda Yadda Yadda.... ;) I am happy you got the letters though. That's very cool.
from chicagojo :
Way to go with the running! Your story reminds me of the day that I was lounging in the sun over lunch and the zipper in the back of my pants broke. Of course I was commando... And of course I was a block away from work... And of course I got in an elevator full of men who would try to check out my tush when I got off at my floor... Again, YAY with the running! If you're too weirded out by weights at the gym, buy two hand weights and do stuff at home.
from simplify :
thanks for your nice note, catie.
from myownjourney :
I am so sorry Catie. I have no idea how I missed your updates. That's very strange..... I'm caught up now. So if you need me to come up there and knock some sense into this "Claugh" fella, let me know. You shouldn't be treated like that. And I'm happy for you and the drummer guy. It's sounds promising. Again I apologize for missing you. I'm a dork. :)
from myownjourney :
Ms. Dids, you can have a piggy back ride anytime. :)
from myownjourney :
I'm glad you updated Ms. Dids, I was begining to worry. :)
from simplify :
thanks for the comment! i should try splenda, it's just that whenever i put it on anything it always ends up tasting like pepsi one to me. i'm certain it's psychological, but there you go. i only use like half a tablespoon of sugar, so it doesn't add too many carbs.
from tedslilangel :
I just wanted to say 'hello' and thank you for adding me to your friends list. I look forward to reading more--I like you style! Well, take care and enjoy the big city! ;-)
from kitchenlogic :
Have you seen Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle yet? There's a Doogie Howser fix in there for you!
from prncsaimee :
thanks so much - I'm so glad to see you're still here :)
from melissaerin :
The fact that you can be that gorgeous after a crying session is crazy!!! Dang, girl! :o) Hope everything works out...you deserve it.
from purplecigar :
I'm a big believer in the complimenting of others. I guess that sounds smug, like, "why do I think that whatever I say will matter to these people" and I suppose that is a valid point, however, *I'd* like to be told something is nice, my hair looks great, etc. Who wouldn't?
from myownjourney :
You can "note" me anytime.. :) And thanks for the comment. I am rather sexy huh? Does that make me vain? j/k. Anyway, let me know what kind of help you need with your page. I'm here to serve. Graphics, html, a hot cup of java... a cool Elvis impression, whatever you need... :)
from myownjourney :
Hey The Redhead I'm all about, ;) - that was a nice note. thank you very much. I'm kinda crushin' on you myself. - Ricky
from myownjourney :
Heya. Have fun in Denver. It's a beautiful town..... and if you need any help at all with a design for your page let me know what i can do. Uh.... so , yeah, i guess that's about it. Oh, and that's a great picture of ya'll Salsa dancing. ;)
from purplecigar :
I'll pray for you. And, I work on procrastination everyday. I've pretty much perfected it by now. As noted by the fact I'm reading your diary instead of working.
from myownjourney :
Hey. Redheads are hot..... ;)
from purplecigar :
Oh I'm so glad. That's really stupendous news. Go celebrate!
from myownjourney :
Hey, you deserve to be wooed.
from chicagojo :
Didn't know about the screw-ups on Clark's part. Listen to your roommate. Also, there should be none of this last-minute-wanna-go-out-tonight stuff goin' on. Don't let it happen!
from chicagojo :
STICK WITH CLARK! STICK WITH CLARK! IF YOU WERE GOING TO BE WITH THE OTHER GUY, YOU WOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING ABOUT IT LONG AGO!!!!!
from fat-to-thin :
Well now, hey. My husband and I knew we were getting married the week after we met. ;) Love at first sight does, in fact, still happen.
from myownjourney :
Heya Ms. Dids. I was just gonna leave you note saying that i was happy you seemed to have found nice guy, when I saw ythe one you left. The truth is that was i in the same situation with a girl I liked I can't say that I wouldn't have done the same thing. i have done the same thing. For me the only way around it was to just give up dating all together to avoid the temptation. But that's not real plausible for most. From what you said in your entry, he seems like a good guy. And good guy's are hard to find from what i undertand. My only advice, not that I'm a person who should be giving it, is be careful with your heart because sometimes the two get mixed up. Ok? Ok, I'll shush my big brother like speech now. I'm glad you updated by the way. I was worried. :)
from melissaerin :
Would you feel better if I told you I worked with a girl who was dating a guy named EARL?! Back in college, she was in high school and so was her totally hot boyfriend. Alas, there is no level of hotness in this world that can make up for the name Earl. No way to lengthen or shorten it either. ;o)
from melissaerin :
Ahhhh New Year's Eve...I also spent mine alone on the couch, but no champagne, just wine! I should've called you! :o)
from chicagojo :
MLB called? Where where where??????
from myownjourney :
Yeah .... where i said previously, "It's really nice to jear", please replace the "j" in "jear" with and "H" for "hear", thanks. ..... I'm just tired. Sorry. ;)
from myownjourney :
Hey You yourself. Thank you so much for keeping me in mind. I can't tell you how appreciative i am of that. Especially these days, it's really nice to jear. :) I hope you have a great a new year. - Ricky
from melissaerin :
Hey girlie! Sounds like things are going well north of the Mason-Dixon line... :o) Glad to see you are avoiding the men that are less than worthy of you, you are awesome and you deserve the BEST. Love ya!!!
from myownjourney :
Hey there. Just thought I'd drop a line and say I understand your entry today and really wish you the best in discovering you. - Ricky
from ozwald :
Hey! OMG - thank you for the note! You rock! Hang in there - dating sucks - but in the end all the shit is worth it when you meet the one. Wish me luck and birthday sex tonight!
from chicagojo :
You typed it to someone who cares about you, put it on a screen, and -- lo and behold -- it got to someone else who cares about you! Hang in there, hon.
from fat-to-thin :
There is nothing wrong with small. My husband is 5'5 and 150lbs and I wouldn't change him for the world. As for voting, a mind that changes is at least an open mind; and Kerry is better than the current warmongerer we've got in there. Voting independent is fine but there's no hope for an independent runner to win-- better to vote for the lesser of the evils and save the altruism for a stronger race.
from asitwere :
Sure, looks like we're on. Plans tonight? If no, you have to help me hit on my hot Brazilian bartender. You game? Email me.
from asitwere :
Many thanks for being the first one to set my no-go apartment thoughts in motion. VERY cool. I owe you a drink for that one (maybe I can compel you to change your diary description of me!)
from asitwere :
LOL that's hysterical. Now that you said that, I think I will ask to see the bill before paying. I don't want to lose the awesome space though. We'll see.
from fat-to-thin :
Well you are certainly sounding much happier! Less I think by the new job offer and more by the fact that YOU WON!!! Yeah! Hehehe, that made me laugh. You're crazy.
from melissaerin :
I'm so sorry about the cancer and diabetes! :o( But I'm glad you are so upbeat otherwise, yay about the job and standing your ground with the boy!! Go Catie! BTW--Cara from PBA says hello, we work at the same school in NC. Take care, girlie!
from chicagojo :
That sounds like a fantastic plan. I love the "you're a married man" bit! Lovely, just lovely...
from fat-to-thin :
Hi! I would love to listen to you chatter about Curves. :) I don't have MSN messenger but I do have AIM (bryteisland) and Yahoo (freyaskitten) if you want to poke me on either of those? Or you can email me at my diaryland address. :)
from krugerpak007 :
That doctor deserves a kick where it may hurt him most... I hope you feel better and only get good results... Take care sweety. And update more often, I have missed you, no more excuses now, please! xoxo Kathy
from chubbychic :
I'm not a big fan of really hairy guys either. Its kinda like dating a roll of shag carpeting.
from krugerpak007 :
Thanks for your note, and thanks for putting a smile on my face! Take care! The water fountain, I think I need that too, take me with! :-) Kathy
from chicagojo :
I wish I had a water fountain at work. But guess who now lives three streets away from her office... Lord knows I have enough stuff at home to get me off!
from kristintracy :
additionally, i lived in florida for five years, and dear god the palmetto bugs. just what the doctor ordered, flying cockroaches.
from kristintracy :
sup hoss. thanks for the mention in your diary! i am living in hell with these cicadas. hell, i tell you. i knew i was going there, but this is WAY sooner than i planned. i forgot to pack my pajamas!
from chicagojo :
"If you have roaches in your house in the North, it means your dirty. If you have roaches in your house in Florida, it means you live in Florida." I said this the other day, but I said "the South" instead of Florida. In Houston we called them "water bugs" because roaches meant you were dirty and water bugs ere just trying to come inside for a better climate.
from krugerpak007 :
Happy Birthday, glad you had fun!!!
from chicagojo :
Happy-happy-happy b-day! Now you can update your age in your "I AM" section! Whee!
from khazzy :
OK, I'm lurking.
from melissaerin :
As always, I love you, and I always enjoy the diary of someone who actualy has a life :o)
from chicagojo :
No more calling nine-hour date guy! "man it feels like I've known you forever; this isn't date one, this is like date one through nine" = You sleep with someone after nine dates, right? Don't fall for the cheese, no matter how hot!
from krugerpak007 :
Isn't it weird the things that some people like!
from krugerpak007 :
Thanks for the big smile I have on my face right now... You are such a honey. Kathy
from kittiebunz :
lol your diary is so funny. i love it
from melissaerin :
Remember that Schwarzenegger movie "True Lies?" There's a guy on there who tries to attract women by pretending he's a top-secret government spy/assassin. Sounds like your buddy Chips. If he's really feeding you a line about all that, I hope you kick his ass! I love you and you deserve soooo much better!!!
from dishdeter :
That is funny as hell! Thank you for reading my diary so I could find yours, and you go girl! Life is short!
from dangerspouse :
Damn. I've GOTTA start hanging out in Hoboken again!! Your manage-a-trois story beats my peeing-on-cat story by a MILE. Shit, I gotta go read that again. Thanks for the note at my place, btw :)
from asitwere :
Corky? That little sum'bitch hates waiting in line, I'll tell ya :-)
from chicagojo :
Monster. Trucks. Hell. Yeah. I found my digicam's memory card in my sock drawer this weekend, so I can finally post the monster trucks entry with pictures... Prepare to be amazed!
from chicagojo :
That was a goooood entry! You get 'em girl!
from yelnad :
You're a naughty girl, but I'm living vicariously through you :) HUGS, d.
from dangerspouse :
So lemme see if I understand you correctly. You hate my guts, is that it? I was trying to figure it out from the note you left me. BTW, we BOTH hate control top pantyhose - how cool is that! Hey, thanks for adding me to your Fave List, and have a great time at the movie tonight. While you're there, do this: flick SnowCaps up in the air towards the screen. They catch the light of the projector and look like mini meteors streaking down on the heads of hapless audience members in the first row! AAAUGH!! The crowd screams and rushes towards the exits!! While you sit there calmly and suddenly have a better view....(They do still sell SnowCaps, don't they?) Anyway, thanks again. I'm looking forward to checking out your stuff too :) (BTW, I'm definitely a Chinatown/Little Italy kinda guy. Cheap, smelly, and mobbed by tourists. That's me.)
from melissaerin :
dahhhling...I am online with you right now, but since you said your IM has issues I will give you my email address and catch up with you through email if not IM!! mhaynor712@yahoo.com Talk to you soon!
from chicagojo :
Cheryl is super-funny and waaayyy right! Hang in there. Indefinitely doesn't mean forever...
from bethany9 :

from melissaerin :
I CRIED when I read your email to Chips. You are an angel. I hope he realizes how lucky he is that he knows you!
from conpalabras :

Hi! I have the worst guestbook luck! Either yours is broken or I've jinxed it! Anyway, here I am in your Notes instead. Thanks for adding me to your favs and leading me here. I've been poking around in your archives and will catch up on all your dirt after my nap (what am I? a three year old?). I'll also be adding you to my buddy list. :)
from weymouth66 :

from fat-to-thin :
For some reason your guestbook is brainfarting; check your HTML???! Just wanted to say I'm really glad you added me as a favorite, because I'm so glad there's another person like me out there too. :)

Hey there, just came to you by way of Scanzilla. Like you diary and your layout. Love random thoughts in such an organized fashion!
from jump154 :
Hey you... aimee - no idea. Last I heard she was leaving for TX, now she has not come back, and done a pretty good job of erasing her online tracks too. I know she is OK, physically, but have not spoken to her. And I miss her like mad. Oh well. No idea why either.....
from jump154 :
Hey thanks... I just have to get not too involved too quick...see what happens. J
from prncsaimee :
Okay - I took that poll on AOL yesterday too - and I'm sorry - I'll have to say Kiefer Sutherland is still the sexiest man alive! oh yum!
from jump154 :
Hey There!! I've never had a stalker before.... Thanks for the advice - I saw doctor, and everything will be OK now. I hope.
from melissaerin :
You know, there are people out there who would kick your sister in the head for a small fee. You should look into it. I think it would do her a lot of good.
from als1012 :
