Appreciate your oomment in re my case; ironic thing is this case was tried in Texas. We opted not to go for the death penalty. You can see given the extreme weakness of our juries here they would have cut him free versus fry his miserable ass. We still got a life sentence, but the difference between the two is 10 flat years before parole eligibility. I guess that's okay. He will be 49 before they even consider. I am guessing he will die before then. Hell, I will probably be dead before then.

The CC banks aren�t in a conspiracy to drive their customers into BK. They�re trying to avoid loss, not increase their losses. As to the World Bank, and the war on terror, I just don�t see any connection to the CC Banks vis-a-vis this issue. Now for a piece of advice. For those people who simply can�t make double their CC pmts and maintain their current standard of living� lower your standards. Luckily real estate is booming all over the country. Home prices are way up. Solution: sell your current home and buy something more affordable. And do it before you fall behind on your house pmts. She's the only cat I have. I get her bloodwork results back today. VEt was certain it was the hyperthyroidism. It was where I put my life and everyone in it. It's far too personal to link the two together. I started this one (chickpea981) to document my sex life because at the time, when I lived with ex - he knew about my other one. Oh I'm with you on that! I studied Theology at University, and I read this book that pointed out how people that have epiphanies tend to have them in ways that are befitting to their socio-cultural environment. Like say, a catholic in Brazil will see Mother Mary, while a baptist in a Harlem Gospel Church will be more prone to have a vision of Jesus, while a hindu of course will see Vishnu or Kali and so on and so forth. There's been research done on this,and so it seems that this is really how it works. Is it G-d using the images we can understand when wanting to get a word in, or is it infact the human brain that's providing the whole show? Whatever it is, I love living.

Okay, first off the Movie rip-off was freakin hilarious! And I hope you are feeling better because I totally know what you are going through. I have THE WORST teeth! I have had like 6 root canals. I feel your pain!!! I hope you can get in sooner or they can dope you up or something! I usually did just what you did an OD on Advil. I remember being in class one day and I was high. Off Advil!! Imagine how many I took! I am not advocating this by any means!! But just take the most the bottle allows you to, is all I'm saying! Oh, and thank you soooo much for the $10!! WOW! Thank you soo much. I'm working on that later. This genre is actually very out of my personal style. I've always had an interest in this, but was too afraid to do it. I've done a great deal of Fantasy writing, but this diary is really my first attempt at trying to write a great deal in English. It's very difficult for me to find the words to describe it. I cannot, personally, think of anything that would have embarrassed me more when I was fifteen than having a discussion with a parental unit about my sexual tastes and desires. At that age, merely OWNING parents and HAVING sexual desires are quite huge enough cringe-factors without having to acknowledge the two exist in the same universe. Perhaps you could deal with the lying and "borrowing" aspects, which I admit do sound like something parents should address. Say something helpful and wise, like "If you ever lie to us about schoolwork or steal things from my closet again we'll kill you." The sheer relief of NOT having you spell out the details will probably make that sound like an endearment. :)

Just read your entry about your stepson. I am engaged to a woman who has a son, and so I am about to embark on a journey similar to yours. I was wondering what my reaction to seeing all that stuff in my son's room would be. My thinking was this. He is probably hugely embarassed to be having all the feelings it looks like he's having, and thats the source behind the secrecy and the stealing. What is of more concern to me is the lying about the letters from the math teacher and going into your closet to steal the picture of R. For what its worth, I really think you need to gently confront your son, tell him you love him no matter what, but that the stealing and lying have to end. You will know what to say. Since your son will know that you've seen the stuff, keeping silent will wreack havoc on him as he wonders when will the other shoe drop. I hope you find this helpful. In another 8 years, when my son is 15 and I pull a bra out from behind his bed, you give give me my own advice and we'll see how the shoe fits on my foot. Simon

I checked out your diary because I liked the name, CatPewk.Here's my comment: My son use to only do his homework because I stood over him breathing down his neck and demanding him to do his work. Then, he would "forget" to turn it in. This was VERY frustrating for me and I could never understand why he did this. Now my son is nearly 21 and I recently asked him why he use to do that. He told me it was because he felt he didn't have any control in his life and this was one "thing" (not turning in his homework) that he DID control. Weird, huh? I've heard something similar to that with girls who have eating disorders. The not turning in homework basically was a power control issue. Just thought I'd share that.
