:) My little man did not slow down at all, this baby however is much more placid and calm in general. Still getting the odd roll and signs of encouragement when it comes to chocolate biscuits, but in general quite peaceful. Glad everything is going so well for you with pregnancy. Good for you for being so active. I bet it really helps that the weather has been so great. I don't think it would be as easy in winter because it isn't for me!! :P I am so excited to find out if you are having a boy or girl. Do you have any names picked out that you both like? I have a bunch saved that I can send if you are interested, ones my friends have sent me, etc. LEt me know if you are interested. As for the work thing, most ladies who are teachers take off about 3 or 4 weeks before their due date. But then the baby can come earlier, so who know?! Okay, I think my note is long enough now! :P

With work it all depends on what you do. If it is a seated job then you can work as late as you wish but be prepared as the last few weeks can be VERY tiring. Also it is nice to have at least 2 weeks at home. It all depends on you. I think I allowed 6 weeks off before my son was born, he was due Jan 20th and got here the 10th bt as I was working in a shop on my feet all day I felt I needed the break sooner. Personally, I think 2-3 weeks would be nice so you get some rest time and time for yourself before baby gets here. Something you might miss for a little while. x

If your ex had any bad intentions, that would shut him up real quick! Wow...I am soooo far behind on everything. Congratulations!!! I'm so excited for you! Being pregnant is one of the most amazing experiences ever and you look radiant! The raging hormones are completely normal and unfortunately, things are still rather strained in that aspect even for a while after the baby is born. It sounds like your hubby is very supportive, though, so hopefully he understands. If you're having trouble sleeping because of pain or discomfort, a body pillow or extra pillow to put between your knees works wonders. :)

Hmmm, that's a tough one. What exactly does the job entail -- i.e. would you be happy doing it? When you commute, do you drive yourself or take public transportation (an extra 20 minutes on a bus or train isn't so bad because you can do other things in the meantime, but I could see how extra driving time would be pretty annoying). I think the most important question is how happy you'd be doing the work you'd be doing; don't feel forced into it just because the future is uncertain and someone is pressuring you to take the job. Sorry to hear about your grampa and your job... that's a lot to handle in such a short time. My mom had a stroke when I was little--it was a really, really scary time, even though I was only 3 and didn't fully understand. I, too have all four of my grandparents (though one of my grandmothers took off years ago and has little/nothing to do with us most of the time). My husband has only one grandmother still living. I'm glad you're able to spend time with him still. And honestly--even though he's "supposed" to be in the hospital, it's probably going to make him happier to be at home (which may aid in recovery--mindset has a lot to do with it)...and checking in on him regularly will help him still get the care he needs. Thanks for the encouragement you've offered me--know that you and your family will be in my prayers!

I already feel bad enough that my own children live through it. Don't let anyone make you feel differently about adopting. I am so sorry, hon. My aunt just passed of a stroke, so I know what you are going through. Low hemoglobin just means that his blood levels are low, he's probably a little anemic. They'll give him iron and some meds for that. I'll be praying for you and your family **HUGS!!**

Hey, unfortunately it's either power pacing or nothing for me. It's the only thing that will keep me moving for an entire hour without wussing out and stopping. Why don't you give it another try, and if you're in pain or tired, you can slow down and stand on the pedals. They like for you to go at your own pace, so it wouldn't be a big deal. Or meet me there and we can do our own seperate things (I'll do pp, you can do the step machine) and meet up before and after. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it might motivate us.

Hey, you're definately not one of the people I'd wish away right now. Even though you're only here for a short time, you've quickly become an important part of my week, so thank you for that. It's nice to have some support that is non-jugemental in the way that it can be with people who've known you for years. Anyway, I'm at home, ill, so it looks like I won't be at the gym tonight. She's switched Body Blast to Tuesdays and Thursdays in the gym now, which is kind of okay with me because it means I no longer have to do the step class. I kind of hated that, to be honest. I overheard Glenda telling someone that a guy she knew lost 40 lbs from doing Power Pacing alone, and that's on MWF so I'd like to try it out when the new schedule takes shape next week. I just read your entry about how scared you are, and I empathize. My daddy was a cop for many, many years in Los Angeles and Chicago. It's hard, but when a man's passionate like that, you can't deterr them. Not that you'd try, but I know it's crossed your mind cause it crossed my mom's a few times. You just want so badly for nothing to happen to them, sometimes you forget how much they actually WANT that line of work, and sometimes you just don't care how much they want it because you love them and just want them safe. I have a lot of respect for J simply because he's willing to lay his life down in protection of others, it's commendable. You got a good one there, but I think you know that! ;)

I don't know the situation very well, but I was in a similar one myself fairly recently. A very close friend broke ties with me because his wife had issues with me and was lashing out in many passive-aggressive ways until I finally snapped and called her on it. I was very unhappy for a while, and disappointed that he couldn't see my side of things. I tried to make amends without completely losing my pride, but it was just one big waste of effort. There's really only so much a person can do to restore a friendship, and it's virtually impossible to do all on your own. There has to be a desire on both parts for reconcilliation, and it sounds to me like your friend was given plenty of opportunities to resolve things but chose not to take them. You may have to just put the whole thing behind you, because it sounds like you've done all you can. Your friend may not have the self-confidence to be much of a friend anyway, from the sounds of things.

I completely relate with you and your situation right now. We didn't have to move, but the stress of medic school all last year, him being gone for a week at a time, and now fire academy until April has really put a lot of pressure on my fiance and I. I've told myself many times that in the entirety of our lives, this time period is only a small little chunk. I know that at the end of this, we will be better off job wise(for Brian)but it is still very trying at times. Keep your chin up, it WILL get better. Take care.

Hey cera, I'm glad you had a fantastic (despite hungover) weekend! I will be at the gym tomorrow for 5:30 and will save you a spot (I typically get there by 5:10 so that I can nab a spot at the back). I think it's the Ultra Body Blast one tomorrow, but if not, I'll be doing whatever they have going on at the Track (just down the hall from the change rooms and up the stairs). Don't forget to bring water!

You can usually find a recycling bin, dumpster-sized, by places like IGA on Hillsdale (South on Broad) or at the Southland mall, for instance. If you want to get a few bucks back, take them to Sarcan (I forget what street it's on, but it should be in the phone book). Hope that helps.

I'm getting together with a friend at 5:15 to book our tickets to Poland and I'm not sure how long she'll be here. I'll tell you what. Why don't you give me a call when you're done with your registration, because I'll either be at home (just a few blocks from where you'll be, likely) or within distance of you. We're banning that wine bar anyway. They've been very exclusive towards the community that actually lives in proximity to it, favouring instead people who look like they're made of money. Hi! CONGRADULATIONS on your wedding!!!!!! Thats wonderful about you! Thats great you already have people like the dj booked and the bridesmaids and flowergirls already have dresses. My fiancee and I have been engaged since Sept. 7, 2002. We have tried to set a date/ or dates but it didnt work. We still want to get married though, just dont have a date set yet.
