You have a very pretty diary page!
from cocoabean :
I really don't like PB m & ms.. never did. They just never seemed to have a good flavor. I would much rather have a Reese's cup if I need the PB and chocolate flavors...
from cocoabean :
Don't let salespeople do that! You have to remember you are the boss in any sale, and you do have the right to cancel in three business days. She is losing commission, and thats why she's upset. And you are right, in a day it certainly wasn't loaded onto a truck!
from grizmom :
Ok, give me the dirt on the Beach... what does a fat girl need to do??? CONGATS to you!!! 21lbs??? That's AWESOME GIRL!!! Before long, you'll have no muffin top at all.
from grizmom :
Vroom Vroom... if it's too loud, you're too old! :) Try it, you might like it!! :) Don't worry, it'll be over soon. Sorry it's annoying you.. I wish I could make them more quiet in the vroom vrooming for you.
from grizmom :
Cinzel! I hope you enjoy your 'control' free time with the boys! Sorry about the wasp thing.. that's a bummer! :)
from catinasnit :
What in the world is Hotmart? Does the cranergy drink have calories? Now that's something I could really use -- cranergy. -Megan-
from catinasnit :
Finally! I've been trying to leave you messages and couldn't figure out how. Mel told me, which brought up a new problem. I couldn't remember by Diaryland password. Obviously, now I have it again. I'm writing on Blogspot with the name Nomorehighheals.blogspot.com You and Mel crack me up. Court reporters around here aren't that funny. I could visualize your faucet blasting across your bathtub. Oh, and the transcript thing -- attorneys are such fun, aren't they? -Megan-
from grizmom :
If Cinzel is working longer and harder, then the 2-3 minutes this is saving her means what??? :)
from junkmel1 :
You can't hold a candle to it. Do you even have a candle? Surrebuttal has been supersurrebutted.
from junkmel1 :
Left rebuttal where necessary.
from junkmel1 :
Hall monitor must be sleeping.
from grizmom :
Yeehawww y'all! I didn't make the No Updaters Naughty List, yet! :)
from lizzzygizzzy :
Your pakage arrived today!! Thanks so much. They fit perfectly--I couldn't have done better if I had ordered them myself. I owe ya one for this!
from shear-madnez :
Girl, I'm glad you went to the doctor! SB's doctor told him to drink 32oz. of pear juice (for babies). He told me that stuff worked like a charm for the "not going" thing. V1 tried it this past weekend and she said it worked for her too. AND! I betcha it tastes alot better than mineral oil. Blechhh.
from grizmom :
Oh girl, I feel your pain. It's TUFF to take on someone elses kids. My ex wouldn't even SPEAK to his ex so I had to negotiate, communicate, etc. and it SUCKED! I love those boys of his dearly and I keep in touch with them to this day, but boy does it suck a big fat one!!
from lizzzygizzzy :
I'm glad you had a good trip! I have been wondering about you--that's a long way from home, girl!!
from kellifornia :
Thanks for the note on my blog :) I got the chance to check yours out and it really looks great! Can't wait to read more and find out a little about you!
from loki-katt :
I know just what you mean about leaving the furry baby behind. It just about kills me to kennel mine when I travel, but I know they are in much better shape than if I left them at home...mostly because the kids can't be trusted to look after her and I don't want to inconvienence my folks. I look at it as a mini vacation for her too...she gets to be in the company of other doggies instead of cats. And I always have a treat (bone, toy, etc.) for her when I come home.
from loki-katt :
Oh I hear ya about the plane seats. I just ask for the extension when I board the plane now. I can squeeze into some, others I need another inch or 5. The extension just makes it more comfy and going all the way to Germany you want comfy!! Wear some good walking shoes, take plenty of pics, and don't forget that we live our lives through you so we need details when ya get home. Enjoy yourself!
from shear-madnez :
What a wonderful vacation that will be! Take lots of photos!
from grizmom :
You can do it! You can do it!! You can do it!!! I'm thrilled for you!!! A trip to Germany --- have a WONDERFUL time!!
from loki-katt :
Hey girl, you still drawing breath?? How's it going? You in court with mel or sitting out? Hope all is ducky in your pond!
from yankee-chick :
I'm so sorry! You must be so frustrated. Sending {{hugs}} your way.
from grizmom :
Cinzel, I'm so very very sorry for everyone involved. I can't imagine the disappointment and frustration. We're here, and we care. Hugs.
from yankee-chick :
So glad your dad is doing better. I know only too well how difficult all this can be for you. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas, regardless and keep us updated!!
from lizzzygizzzy :
I am glad to hear your Dad is doing better and I hope he continues to improve. With the holidays being here and your dad being really sick plus the upcoming visit from the "boys", I wouldn't even be trying to diet--but that is just me. I'm thinking about ya girl.
from pattypat :
Hang in there - I'm saying a prayer for you and your Dad.
from grizmom :
Cinzel, good to hear your update. Remember, to everything there is a season and a reason under God. Now, if we could just get those "reaons" NOW.... wouldn't that be most handy?? Hang in there. We're here and we love ya!
from grizmom :
Cinzel, I'm so sorry your father is so ill. Watching your parents age, sometimes not so gracefully, in very very hard. Your Mother is correct in her thinking, however, sometimes that just doesn't make you feel any better about it. Be strong. We're here for you.
from yankee-chick :
11/22 Hi there! I just linked you from Shear's diary and popped in to say hi. Sad entry to read first off and I'm SO sorry to hear about your SIL's Mom. What a tragedy. And you're right, it was too soon and she had much yet to do. Once we are presented with grandchildren, our lives are just beginning!! Stop by and se me if you like. You can find me these days at yankeechick.wordpress.com Hope you have a nice Thanksgiving.
from junkmel1 :
Good thing Molson didn't find it first.
from shear-madnez :
11-06-2007==I hear ya on the cornbread, girl! Ain't much I'd stand in line for but fresh hot cornbread is one of 'em. I'm so very sorry to hear about your SIL's mom. I can't imagine what you and your family and she and her family are going through. Again, I'm so very very sorry.
from junkmel1 :
Nah, it's not menopause, it's the vitamins!!
from loki-katt :
OK, well the fact that he's an engineer speaks volumes...none of the ones I work with are able to comprehend mere mortals unless it's all drawn out for them...how's your drawing skills? :-) I know what you mean about the miscommunication. I had some of the same problems with my ex...except he really wasn't listening. Hope things take an upswing soon!
from m-lewis :
The thing you said about the lawyers thinking they are SO good looking and everything that comes out of their mouths is just SO interesting -- wow! did that strike home with me. Have you noticed? they can't tell time either? "Your Honor, if you will give us five more minutes, I think we'll have a settlement to read into the record." Yeah. Right. Pat foot. Drum fingers. Hurry up and wait for another hour or two. The funny thing is, the case could have been fully tried in the amount of time it took them to settle it. You and Mel and me, we could write a book.
from m-lewis :
I know. I know. I've not commented in a long time -- longer since I posted anything. As I told Junkmel1, my 91-year-old dad is very ill and has been since Memorial Day. I enjoyed going back and reading your last few entries. The losing weight thing really sucks, doesn't it? I have to keep after myself all the time. We had to replace our air conditioning system last year. We're still paying for it, but at least the house is oh-so-cool. You're right, that is worth a lot of transcripts. In my case it's not criminal appeals but custody appeals or boundary line disputes gone bad. Can you believe people get more Hatfield & McCoy over their property lines than they do over who gets the children? -Megan-
from pattypat :
...or maybe you are allergic to something in the court house???
from junkmel1 :
Grreeeeaaatttt. I feel for you. Hopefully you won't have a full day. I couldn't sleep last night, afraid I'd forget something(!?). Felt like I do before we leave on a trip. I've packed a book, but I bet I'm snoring like Bailiff S. before I get two pages read.
from loki-katt :
Congrats on the 11 pounds gone!! I know what a big deal it is. I put my swimsuit on for the first time since I tried the thing on in Cleveland last week. It wasn't Sports Illus. but then these folks didn't know me and nothing was falling out. I enjoyed the swim. I know what you mean about the planning driving you crazy. My mom is supposed to be following WW too, but you couldn't tell it by what she cooks. Good luck at the beach, you'll do fine no matter what.
from m-lewis :
I'm so lucky because my husband rarely blames me for anything. Occasionally he hints at it though, like when his pocket knife is missing... or his favorite socks... or his camera... or his -- He'll look straight at me, scratch his head and say, hummm, do you have any idea where my (fill in the blank) is?
from m-lewis :
Thanks for the CR explaination. In Arkansas every judge has a court reporter who travels with him. I don't know, if I were in your shoes I'd find it kind of interesting to never really know what to expect next... could be bad OR it could be exciting. My judge is recovering from surgery so other judges (some are even retired) have been appointed to hear his cases. Every judge is so different, but I rather enjoy seeing how they handle each situation. GOOD FOR YOU on your weight loss! That yellow polka dot number may no longer be a dream. Hey, what mountain vacation are you planning? The Rockies? Right about now, that sounds great... mountains, cool air, cabins, quaint little village. Pull me down. My head's in the clouds.
from pattypat :
Nice 7.8! Good for you!
from grizmom :
Congrats on all the above! The cortizone, the 9lbs, the whole ball of wax! The mind-boost is a great shot in the arm! Keep up the good work!
from loki-katt :
Congrats on the no surgery. That S word always scares the snot out of me too. I know where ya coming from with the weight issue. My goal is to keep my fat fanny off of insulin as long as possible. In the 2 weeks I've been faithful to WW it's worked just fine. I know I can do it...did it before (as have you). Guess the wakeup call we both needed was being reminded that we're not only mortal but fat so even More Mortal. Hang in there, it does get easier.
from pattypat :
Glad things are working out!
from grizmom :
Hang in there. Discipline does suck, but you can do this! You have to! You're worth it and so much more! I'm here for you if I can do ANYTHING!
from pattypat :
Good luck at the doctor - take care of yourself!!!
from loki-katt :
Advil and lots of it. A mudslide or three might not hurt either. Then there's my favorite a soak in a nice hot tub...still would be my choice if my wide ass still fit in my narrow tub!
from junkmel1 :
I tried to leave a comment, telling you you can keep bitching, there's always more where that came from, isn't there? Or is that just me? Can't believe BZ cleans two days on the truck for the boys...ridiculous waste of that energy. It's not two days of cleaning dirty, anyway! So why is your supergold not up to date so I could leave you a comment?
from pattypat :
Thanks for your notes. I appreciate all the good thoughts. Good luck with your fitness resolutions!
from lizzzygizzzy :
All those feeling about being tired and achey well, ditto that for me. I looked up biggest loser diet, but I didn't join--let me know how that goes, I might join up too!
from pattypat :
Thanks for linking to me! I'm enjoying your writing. Hope everything works out with the feds.
from grizmom :
Come on sister! You can do this! I went for a power walk last night. Almost 45 minutes! Yeah for me! Tonight was work, which keeps me up and moving so that's good. Ate bad yesterday but better today! Little steps! Hang in there!
from grizmom :
Sounds good to me! I'm happy to report a chocolate filled trick-or-treat bag that has been left on my desk and I've only eaten 5 milk duds! hurray for me!!
from grizmom :
Cool! Hold me accountable! I'm excited that you'll be joining me! I don't have a treadmill, so I'm all outside, and that's ok. My downfall is coming home from work and not going directly for the walk. If I sit down, it's allllll over. YEAH for US!!
from grizmom :
I hate it when you have to remind men that you have feelings too. Why is it a given that you wouldn't have? GGgggrrrrr -- that irritates me!
from kitchenlogic :
Hi Cindy! I'm so glad to hear what's being doine for the evacuees by your fellow neighbors! Of course I made my donation!!!!
from grizmom :
Thank God for the news. I've just been worrying myself sick about it. It looks absolutely horrible from here. If you hear from PC, please pass along my thoughts, prayers, love and hope for her some beading time!
from grizmom :
THANK GOD!!
from grizmom :
PC can feel free to recruit me - if she dare! However, at this unexperienced point, she'd dump me as quickly as she recruited me!But, BEAUTIFUL jewelry she does make.
