It's nice to have you back!!!
from cordyvision :
I have to let you know that between the Buffy the Vampire Slayer quote on your site and a fondness for Dorothy Dunnett and Jane Austen, I have decided that you must be pretty cool. :) I'm a huge Lymond Chronicles fan, and I've been told that I'm a little over-obsessive about the Buffy stuff. A friend of mine has a theory that people who like Buffy also like Dunnett and vice versa since every person she's ever known that liked one liked the other. I'm not sure if this is true, but it's an entertaining theory.

Sorry it took me so long to add you to my faves but you're there now. Also, I totally understand your Grandma situation, I have a similar situation myself with my Grandma.
from atomicbuddha :
Hi. First, thanks for adding me to your favorites, it's always an honor. Also...I too have a huge fear of the phone, paralyzing even...and that whole motivation issue...yep. I'll be dropping by to check your diary out, so far, I like!!

hey, thanks for the guestbook message--it made my day. I'm working on the shrink thing. my company's health-care plan website seems designed to make the user commit suicide out of frustration, thereby absolving the company of the need to actually pay for any treatment. to get into the "Employee Life Program" part of the site (which is where you go for mental health stuff, but I think it's mostly for the recently bereaved and others with real things to be depressed about) you have to CALL the HR person and ask for a username and password to the site. So much for confidentiality. I did manage to get an 800 number which may have better results...
from raincitygirl :
Wow, that bites. You don't tell somebody they're being transferred (and with no explanation either) by email. That's just...tacky. But, on the bright side, does that mean you won't have to work with Snarky!Bitch any more? Because, if so, major silver lining.

I love the new template and really hope you can figure out a way to get diaryland to accept it. I'm sorry you're headachy. :-( Get well soon.
from raincitygirl :
Well, I jsut saw the new template and I think it looks really good. Hope your headache gets better soon.
from raincitygirl :
Hiya Claire, The problem with having a 'People to Kill' list is that it gets so dang long. There are so many, many people in this world who deserve to be killed. It would become just another chore. And you're racking up the good karma by sitting through the boring honeymoon slideshow. Just think, you can get revenge my making her look at your honeymoon pics soon enough. Al,though you probably won't take pictures of signs. What a waste of good film that would be.

I'm not sure how often you check these, if at all, but the fact that you've communicated with Victoria through here might be a good sign. My name is David. I too live in Tampa. I'm a 20 yr old college student working on a degree in Music Theory and Composition. I'd like to meet some local people. If you're super popular and think you have enough friends already, then don't worry about it. Maybe you'd like to check me out though. http://bminordim.diaryland.com

Oh man, keep writing. I'm waiting to see what happens next! Rogue is a good name too. I'm liking that. :)
from musesfool :
Hey there, I like this beginning you've got. I do think it would be interesting from Rogue's POV as well, but obviously, you don't want to do any headjumping within the scene. Writing a scene from various POVs is a great exercise, though one I tend not to have much patience for. Anyhow, I'd like to see more of this. There are so few really good L/R writers still writing, and from this brief snip, you seem to have the stuff, so... get going! ~victoria

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
