Yeah, it's interesting how the opposite genders seem to be judged on different criteria. Although much of these things are starting to converge, more often than not, women are always run into issues about appearance and weight. With men it always seems to be about financial and social status. But yeah, I'll give you a call after my first million... ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Well if you ever do decide to break you diet, it will be totally worth it. ;)
from indulgentia :
well, I look forward to reading your updates :) *hugs* xxx
from indulgentia :
heya nice to see you around :) hope all is well xxx
from nikig :
hey...did you change your password? it wont let me in. :~(
from indulgentia :
*hugs* I get like that too sometimes... esp. the whole 'are people hanging out with me cos they want to, or just until someone more interesting comes along?' thing... I hate those times, but they always pass, until the next time... just part of life's rollercoaster... and this time on the ride I'm a bit more inclined to just sit back and let it happen... a lyric for you: "You don't have to be alone with what you're going through" Come back down, by Lifehouse... the whole song's great, that pledge of friednship I think we all want to hear :) take care xxx
from fightn4life :
Either I forgot to request your username-pass word or it was lost in cyber spam, may I have the key? My e-mail is ozarkdrm@ritternet.com put in the subject line "username password" and I'll get it. I miss reading about your world, sometimes I am too caught up in my own. Sandyz
from liquid-mojo :
thanks for the hug. :) you diary is locked by the way. did you know that? =p
from indulgentia :
:) thanks for the hug hun. that was some adventure with the Cat Pueblo! one of those times when you're left wondering where all the smart people are, and why arent they making sure we dont get stupid stuff like that available! gr! hehe! And like Horatio, our cats prefer old boxes to 'proper' cat baskets! contrary animals, but we love 'em all the same :D xxx
from liquid-mojo :
I love the iced caramel macchiato and the caramel frappucino, the caramel gets nice and chewy in the bottom because the drink is so cold. =p
from indulgentia :
thank you :) xxx
from classicrose :
your welcome any time! user: ohso pass:quiet
from indulgentia :

from indulgentia :

from indulgentia :
*waves, and knows anything else would just be crap right now, but sits quietly understanding as best as possible* xxx
from nikig :
Hey girl...did you lock up? What are the keys??? Or are you turning it into a for your eyes only deal? ;~)
from indulgentia :
thanks for the music tips, I'll certainly look into them :) at the time however, I managed to settle on some Jamie Cullum, but only two tracks... London Skies and Oh God, both off his Catching Tales album. And I had Hundred Reasons' Shatterproof is not a Challenge on all night yesterday :D
from indulgentia :
cool :) well, if you do pick up Steve Voake's books, I hope you enjoy them. I might post up some more 'reveiws' when I get around to finishing some more of the many books I have on the go! xxx ooh, ps, been meaning to say... thanks for stopping by my diary... there's something oddly comforting to know there are people reading at least some of what I'm writing :)
from indulgentia :
hehe! I just saw your note to Liquid-mojo about me needing to be educated in sci-fi! :p I'm not gonna deny the brilliance of either Star Wars of LOTR, there's obviously something special there for so many people to rave about them for so long. I just havent been hit with the interest to get into it and discover for myself. There's a lot of things I could say that about tho - it would shock!
from indulgentia :
no problem hun :) have you read Dreamwalker's Child? I dont think it's totally necesarry to read it before Web of Fire, but as with most books with the same characters in it, it may be worth doing...
from liquid-mojo :
Well Star Wars 4-6 is "classic" sci-fi and the LOTR Trilogy at least until the movies came out, is "classic" fantasy/adventure so I don't really expect newer fans to get into it unless they really want to go "hardcore" ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Sounds like a sweet PC, but don't hold out on me, please share the specs. I'm about a year off from buying another PC so I need to live vicariously though you. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
You got a new PC? I'm so jealous. I tried upgrading my notebook to Vista, but the Graphics card was not Vista compatible so I have to downgrade it back to XP if I want to play games on it. =/
from liquid-mojo :
It wouldn't be as good a pun if it didn't make you groan. =p
from liquid-mojo :
If my post seemed conflicting, it probably was. I guess from all I'm really expecting from the flighty blonde chick is a simple rebound fling and yes a large part of the attraction is physical and it not just one way, at least during the Eve it wasn't. And no, I'm not looking for a trophy, that more up the the alley of my divorced midlife/near-retirement uncles. The bottom part of my post is more of me wanting the kind of relationship I'm looking for in general, I used the word intimacy, but I mostly described physical intimacy. Somewhere in the back of my mind I'm hoping for something better, but I think that I need that fulfilled first before I can move on to the deeper stuff. I'll have to re-watch sixteen candles, I don't remember that quotation. :)
from liquid-mojo :
Thanks, I'll try to take some of that marketing strategy to heart. I was a Transformers/GIJoe/Thundercats/Voltron/Robotech fan myself, though I did crossover to the She-Ra princess of power spinoff, thanks mostly to He-Man. I think gamer chicks are sexy, partially because they are so few and far between. ;) Unfortunately, I have put gaming on the backburner because of school, but I may prematurely restart my habit once GTA-IV comes around in October.
from liquid-mojo :
I used to talk and drive and eat fast food while driving, but then using a cell without a handsfree while driving became illegal in Chicago so I got a bluetooth headset and since then talinking and eating while driving became much easier. But yeah bluetooth built into the PC so much better then trying to sick a dongle into it. Why did that sound wierd? Anyway you know what I'm talking about. =p
from liquid-mojo :
He is a caring nurturer, a member of several twelve-step programs, but not a licensed therapist... =p
from liquid-mojo :
my bruised masculinty not withstanding, i'll take that as a compliment. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
the lovely part about cookies is that the fill you out in places you don't really need to be filled out. =p but yeah, samoas are quite heavenly, at least in the mouth area. I think it's the caramel and the coconut that does it for me, and yes there always seems to be room for "just one more".
from liquid-mojo :
yeah, it's been a while since i've had some of that culture shock.
from liquid-mojo :
i try to leave out the pain part in my marketing strategy. =p
from liquid-mojo :
I know i've done my part when you have associated clicking on me with a feeling of throbbing. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Well I'm glad you were able to drag the mouse cursor all those endless inches over and click on my notes this time. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
haloscan is being a bitch to me lately. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I may have to go supergold just to get a reliable comments system in my blog. my candy giving philosophy is, skip the whipped mint crap and get box of godivas, that or a bag of assorted fun size snickers, milky way etc. Halloween is cool though, lots of candy corn and spooky shaped peeps. =p But yeah, I figure in time, things will get better and I can look to this as a "learning experience". If only I can keep myself from aging...
from liquid-mojo :
i'll try not to get a swollen head, but you know how those things go. ;) Glad to see you were rooting for the Bears. Aside from the people who used to live around here, not too many people outside of Chicago were rooting for them last Sunday. It is kinda girly that you chose them for the team colors though, but you are a girl so I'm just going to look the other way on that one. ;) And for the record I didn't actually knock down any walls or curl up into the fetal postion, i mean yeah I felt like it after that game. *ahem* OK i'm going to go now. =p
from liquid-mojo :
i'll take you coveting my stuff as flattery. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
I'd personally go for the Treo 750, the 8525 or the Blackjack, if only for the 3G capabilities. The case colors for the Treo 680s look pretty sweet though and yeah, I seem to indulge in the really cheezy, corny type jokes quite a bit. Call it a gift. =p
from liquid-mojo :
That's true, no matter what you do, you still have to live with yourself and when you compromise your own principles you are basically compromising youself. If you switch to T-Mobile or AT&T Wireless (formerly Cingular) you can use unlocked GSM phones like the D&G RAZR. Sorry about passing the cold onto you though the internet. I'll have to make a mental note to update my antivirus software so this doesn't happen again. ;)
from acornotravez :
Thanx 4 the addition to faves...-Acorn!
from liquid-mojo :
The tongue color thing is mostly psychological, if I don't see it, it doesn't bother me, but if I scope it in the mirror I have this wierd need to clean my tongue out with a toothbrush. =p The BSG seasons on DVD is pricey, but worth it. I was hooked when I caught a season 3 episode on the Sci-Fi Channel and being a child of the 80's I was a fan of the old-school BSG and I watched in amazement how different and flawed the new characters are compared to thier unflawed and mythically hero-like counterparts in the old-school episodes. I did catch Serenity on DVD, I'll have to check out Firefly sometime. I think the cold is winding down though, maybe it was waiting for me to bitch about it. =p
from liquid-mojo :
Yeah, I'm entertaining the possibility that she gave me her number in a moment of weakness and that she is not actually in a position in her relationship to recieve or return calls. It's nice to be actively back in the dating game though. I'll probably have a few stories as a result. :)
from liquid-mojo :
Never caught that claymation, sounds interesting though. Isn't Promethius the titan in the Greek mythos who bestowed the gift of fire to humanity? I like it already. :) If I had two dogs, I'd name them Gildenstern and Rozencrantz, unless they were chihuahuas, then I'd have to go with Cuervo and Patron. =p
from liquid-mojo :
Well, yeah, I try to follow the philopophy of not saying anything at all if I can't say anything nice. The exception to that would be if someone is severely infringing upon me, then I'll be like hey WTF? I have to admit, sometimes I strike zoolander poses, but I only do that if I'm being silly and I think I was trying to be serious in that one. =p Maybe I'll post a pic of me smiling some time, so you don't think I'm a straight up gangsta thug. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
It's funny you should mention that, because one of my exes always complained that i was pouting all the time, like the way a kid would look when he/she didn't get what they wanted. I told her I wasn't pouting, that was just the natural position of my lips. =p
from nikig :
Hey girl...I locked it up cause I cant write at work anymore and I dont have a computer at home. So I am on a little break from dland. I cant even read anyones either! You can email me anytime you want tho.... curvygirlboxycar@yahoo.com
from liquid-mojo :
Although I personally haven't taken the time to confirm the person's gender, I think the author of that blog may be female if you can believe that. Anyway thanks for adding me to your faves list. As for the "Haroldina effect", I think guys in general like scoring the easy laugh, though I'm not sure how I'd react to a donkey-braylike laugh.
from liquid-mojo :
Well knowing that I can have your eyes rolling all day, it just takes forever for me to hit that kind of groove with a total stranger. =p But yeah if I act too much like myself then it will pretty much be just me sitting quietly in a corner. I kind of have to be me with the volume turned up a bit or else I'll be just going nowhere.
from nikig :
Yep...thats my Dave. Here is my email so you dont have to keep noting me. :) nikig79@msn.com
from nikig :
No...dont think we have officially ever met. I am from Oconomowoc and knew Arnie only briefly many years ago. But now that I am dating his friend Dave...I have been hanging out with Mandy and Arnie more. Maybe we will hang out sometime. I do have friends out in Madtown...that I see once in awhile. But anywho...glad to have met you!! :~)
from nikig :
