See latest entry for reverse culture shock the first. Reverse culture shock the second was when I realized, driving past the seedy Xtra Mart down the hill from home, that going out at night by myself is totally out of the question again. Most certainly convenience stores are off-limits at night. *sigh* Japan was so safe. Even if someone did try to fuck with you, there are police boxes on every corner, and I'm the same size as half the guys anyway. :P

Duck threat, wonderful wonderful duck threats. remember that time mr. brar did the rocky thing he was pretending he was a boxer. remember when we used to run around the school snapping pictures of our teachers when they least expected it. remember the countless hours spend after school in both middle school and high school. remember running from that guy teacher and running into the bathroom and laughing because we thought we were SO smart because "this is a girls bathroom he can't come in here!!" only to walk out and find him waiting outside for us. lol. god we thought we were SO brilliant, this is a girls bathroom hee hee hee!! lol. good times, i mean seriously good times!! building a lego town in the fish pond, the poor fish were probably like WTF!! lol, i'd be pretty pissed if two big hands started building a lego town in my house! i would be like, GET THE FUCK OUT!! TURBO BUTLER!!! LMFAO!! priceless!! remember when we first played the sims and we put the teachers we hated the most in a house together and made them fight with each other? LOVE THE COWBELL! lol. so many days spent a 6 flags. remember that guy, "you guys sisters?" and we just looked at each other like, he is fucking kidding? lol. we still need to bunge jump there. it's a definate must. perhaps a blob reunion at 6 flags? that would be cool. remember how we used to go into mr. brar's room and COVER his white board with pointless drawings and he's be all like, MY MARKERS!! lol! good times. we need to visit powell together. i haven't seen him in a long time. well i'll stop my walk down memory lane, you're probably snoring in front of your computer lol!! That Boston thing is the most fucked up things I've seen in a while. The fact that the attorney was asking the victim what kind of music she listens to was completely irrelevant and besides the point. If he's trying to indicate that someone DESERVES to be bullied and lit on fire, then the guy needs to rot in hell along with his client(s). That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I love how the article tries to pretty it up, too, with the language. You've got to be kidding me. Even if the guy on trial isn't directly responsible, he ran off and didn't try to help, which makes him guilty of negligence at the very very least. >__< I'm sorry to hear that this happened.

I'm sorry your transition back to the US isn't going at all smoothly. ; . ; *hugs* I think I'd feel more inclined to stay in Japan if I didn't hate the other international students so much. Maybe reduction surgery's less complicated in Italy. Don't know how long you're planning to be there, though, and that's not exactly a fantastic way to spend a vacation, I'd imagine. :/ But it was a passing thought.
I'm sorry nothing seems to be going your way right now. In terms of summer work, you could try applying at Best Buy; my cousin works there, and he said the start pay's pretty good and the last I talked to him, they were hiring, so...
As for the BCP, they can throw your system out of whack if they're too weak/strong. Mine give me all kinds of problems if I just try to skip a week for some reason, so I'd have to say switching to another kind entirely could very well cause (or enhance) at least some of the issues you listed.

Jared has cute kittens. lol one's a tiger cat with white on it's paws and on the front. and the other two are black and white. but i don't think Jared will part with the black and white ones. one of them is weird, like i think he's a mentally retarded kitten. i know this is mean, but it's like the funniest thing i've ever seen. he like shakes when he walks and when he's eating food, he freaks out and attacks anything that gets near the food while he's eating. like he stands in the food and eats it and while eating throws his paws out at anything that comes near him. it's freakin hilarious. but yeah. they're not ready to go anywhere yet, but if you're interested i'll send you pictures of them.
