at the moment I'm thinking ice cream instead of fish and chips. its so hot here. anyway, i'm sure the american version 'long john silvers' would be a poor substitute for the real thing in the u.k.

It’s an interesting theory but there are loads of fake, cheap copies mass-marketed whatever the ugly bag trend. Hmm not entirely sure what I’m talking about now so I’ll leave it.

Which leads on to pretend eating. It’s difficult to watch someone twirling the same spaghetti strand around the fork or pushing the food about the plate in a scene aiming to convey typical conversational family life. The times my family are gathered round a table together (Christmas basically) there is a mass grab, no time for speaking and the occasional belch. Chips sound good now.

Ah, nothing like the squealing agony, blinked back tears and stream of swearing that standing on a plug induces to realize exactly how brave one is. Specifically first thing in the morning. Ha to the buttons. At least you’re attempting to do them up, which is more than can be said for the millions of ‘as long as the top one’s done no one will notice’ brigade. People from that team should avoid standing in front of sitting people on the underground. For sure.

Yeah, well, that and the handle fell off. I was a bit gutted. Zeroes I’m not sure about. I always feel a bit of an idiot saying zero on the phone (I have to read out codes, take numbers and all that bollocks) and usually go with O (Oh?). I’m off to knock out my front teeth, get a bowl cut and feel the 1989 nostalgia.
