He is a very nice guy and he is helping me to assist her in another matter. I was conflicted when I heard about that ride offer so I came to D-land for advice
from jimbostaxi :
Well, I went from not going out to busy so that's very possible. I may ask some questions today just to see how that goes. Thanks for the note!
from jimbostaxi :
Very good point. I will have to think on that :)
from jimbostaxi :
Thanks, yeah, when the bullshit comes raining down it even penetrates the love goggles I had on for her. Tonight at work should be interesting because I'm curious how she will interact with me. Thanks for the note!
from jimbostaxi :
Yeah, you are right. Such finality so fast caught me by surprise. Thanks for the note :)
from wordwhore :
Somewhere near Phoenix. I forget where you are?
from wordwhore :
Huge news, I know! Hard to believe it all happened so fast, but she's made up her mind and that is that, apparently. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
from wordwhore :
Good job, driver's ed teacher!
from jimbostaxi :
Very true :)
from jimbostaxi :
Yeah, you are 100 percent right. I'm not going back once the hospital jobs a lock I'm done with cab life forever. Thanks for your feedback. :)
from jimbostaxi :
It seems like I'm dreaming but I'm glad I stuck it out. I even said that to her on the phone Lol. Well, now I just wait and check my email 5 million times until I see the official offer. Thanks for the note!
from jimbostaxi :
I wish my attire was that comfortable but I was more formal with a blazer and tie. :)
from wordwhore :
Haha, one of many, many options I've considered.
from jimbostaxi :
Thanks, Yeah, I messaged her after I read her entry. :)
from wordwhore :
I think you were the one who helped me choose the name dickhead Lol
from wordwhore :
If by jerk you mean worthless shithead, yes. Heh.
from jimbostaxi :
Lol, True, I sent emails to your Gmail. Did you receive them?
from jimbostaxi :
I'll work on that right now! Thanks! :)
from jimbostaxi :
Yeah, it was something very different than my normal routine. Money goes way too quickly so I’m glad that I was careful. Time for more new adventures! Lol. Thanks for the note.
from jimbostaxi :
Yeah, the USPS box was good. Fran has a lot of stuff so I'm looking into some larger containers. There's one place near me that quoted me like 400 bucks for a large box. I'll have to get other quotes and see what other places offer. Some of the stuff my girls will keep but a majority of it will be better off with her mother and sister. It's good to see you Cocoabean I hope all is well. :)
from wordwhore :
Thank you! I've convinced myself that I agree. Take meds as needed, without regard to time of day.
from wordwhore :
I've updated the entry to explain.
from jimbostaxi :
Ty so much! I put a large framed picture of her smiling across from the bed. This way it feels like she's still with me. The problem is after a few seconds reality kicks in and I know she's gone.
from fairygodmum :
3/23/22 Just sayin hi... HI.... LTNS....Woots!!
from wordwhore :
I didn't have a toaster oven in TX and I hated it! We always had one in my family. They're so convenient!
from starkitten01 :
Long time!!! I tried to drop you a hello over on word press. I’m “cows and crochet”. Would love to see how you’ve been doing all of these years. I just started a new journal on blogger, cows and crochet. Hope you’re doing well!
from life-my-way :
That would explain so much, that refrigerator portal. Damn it and its hidden pepperoni! xo K
from jimbostaxi :
It's hard getting on the same page when it's the kids versus me. I'm putting the most hours in here and I know when she's not feeling herself. They can say all the negative and insulting things they want all I did was speak my mind. Everyone's tense so I just moved on. So far so good. Thanks for the note!
from wordwhore :
Yeah, I think I touched a nerve with my Facebook buddy because his wife's "fudge" has marshmallow fluff 🤣 And I wanted to say, I'm sure it *is* delicious... but it ain't fudge! 😏
from annanotbob2 :
Thanks for your note re Art. We're friends on Facebook but I blocked him when he became a bit enthusiastic about Trump and I couldn't bear it. I'm glad he's doing so well.
from swordfern :
I appreciate your note re: work rarely improving. That is often true and something that I hadn't fully considered. Thank you.
from wordwhore :
Glad I'm not the only one!
from wordwhore :
Haha, I knew it!
from jimbostaxi :
I should just start mass shipping them! Send me your mailing address and we will put you on it. Lol
from jimbostaxi :
Thank you! I am trying :)
from wordwhore :
Thank you!!
from jimbostaxi :
Lol, unfortunately, I work the night shift I have to be up.
from wordwhore :
I couldn't even get the lid off the pump bottle 😅 There weren't even any mosquitoes here last year and this year they're awful!
from wordwhore :
Haha, I was testing html for a friend who is having trouble getting links to work on DL.
from wordwhore :
I do need edibles to sleep, you are a genius! 😅
from wordwhore :
The beer sufficed, but I went with gummies today Lol
from wordwhore :
Delta8. Legal THC from hemp, as opposed to illegal THC from pot (Delta9).
from wordwhore :
Haha must be knee season
from jimbostaxi :
Lol, well, yes Cocoabean I agree,,, but somedays it's hard to make it here and express myself,, and thanks for being such a faithful reader :)
from wordwhore :
Right? Exactly that. We were not friends in high school and we will not be friends now. Blech.
from jimbostaxi :
Cocoabean, you know me too well! Lol 😆😆😆😆😝😝😝🥳🤪
from wordwhore :
I figured you probably wouldn't take offense. And yeah, living for grandkids is no better.
from wordwhore :
Yowch! Does not sound like fun, that sort of tripping.
from wordwhore :
Neither of them seem to like pumpkin, but I'd forgotten I did put sweet potato in it. With O it was Pulp Fiction. Also horrible.
from wordwhore :
Thanks ❤
from jimbostaxi :
Heyyyyyyy Cocoabeannnnn, it's good to see you! Yeah, that was definitely Murphys Law.
from wordwhore :
It definitely has 9/11 flavor.
from wordwhore :
❤❤❤ thank you (and vice versa!)
from wordwhore :
Definitely nasty stuff when you've got a sensitivity!
from wordwhore :
One room at a time sounds good till one of your rooms is the size of a whole house 😂 And no on garage sale, nothing worth selling and don't really want people gathering just now.
from jimbostaxi :
Hi, thanks so much for the note! What are your plans after you retire? I don't know what I would do with all that free time.
from wordwhore :
Bah, they aren't cheaper than sunbeam on Amazon right now. I'll keep looking and see if I can find a deal somewhere
from wordwhore :
It's a queen. Yeah, as soon as you said heated mattress pad, I figured that could be way better than an electric blanket.
from wordwhore :
Ohhhh, that sounds amazing. Unfortunately not in the budget right now, but as soon as it is, yes. I've tried for electric blankets before, but never considered they had mattress covers!
from jimbostaxi :
Just dropped in to say hi! Hope all is well. :)
from yellow-ninja :
Thank you for understanding! I figured you would :)
from wordwhore :
It really is <3
from catsoul :
5.30.2020. Bingo, hit the nail on the head. He seems to want to live in his "magical" land of forgotten. I would have to agree with your note. Peace. =^..^=
from wordwhore :
Nope, not since last month. I'm still a sad sack.
from zenayda :
OMG, even people I generally adore got on my nerves. I figured I'd better get rid of it before I had no friends left. :D
from wordwhore :
Good grief! Beards? Really? Furnace masks? Wth is wrong with people's brains...
from wordwhore :
Yep check your email
from annanotbob2 :
If they were in a crowd I bet they were starlings. Fantastic!
from yellow-ninja :
Thank you! I thought it might feel too big on my finger, but I absolutely love it. I'm so relieved he didn't want a traditional stone either.
from wordwhore :
Maybe so. My brain is weird anyway
from yellow-ninja :
Thanks! I thought so, too! :)
from wordwhore :
Hm, might them a shot. My mom loves hers.
from wordwhore :
YES! You're right, Devil's Tower had a similar energy!
from catsoul :
11.10.19. Hi. Thanks. Happy Belated Birthday to You. Take Care. Peace. =^..^=
from annanotbob2 :
I know you meant it kindly but I find your note upsetting so I'm going to delete it. xx
from wordwhore :
It's the mechanic my mom trusts. They don't do transmissions, so they aren't trying to upsell work in this case. I don't trust any mechanics - I was married to one for too long! Btw did you make that fudge yet?
from wordwhore :
😃😌
from wordwhore :
Done! Check your fb msgs ;)
from wordwhore :
You make a fair point...
from wordwhore :
Oh indeed he does fit his name!!
from wordwhore :
Unfortunately his boss is part of the problem. But she's been trying to convince the seller to drop the realtor when the contract ends and just do it directly.
from catsoul :
4.14.19. Hi. I am sure you mean the deer antlers when you wrote "horns." hahaha. As far as selling them, no I don't. I use them to make creations with. Peace. =^..^=
from wordwhore :
Changed my pass again. The Un now has an f in front of it, so the un/pw are now the same
from jimbostaxi :
Ty cocoabean! We are on the right side I know we are :0)
from jimbostaxi :
Morning, I wish it was that simple he already told us last time that he wasn’t going to leave peacefully so we will have to evict him :(
from jimbostaxi :
Hey cocoabean ty for the info :) I got a light head after waiting a few then I fell into a relaxing sleep when I woke up I had the munchies baaaaaaddddd! Lol
from jimbostaxi :
Sucks don’t it? I debated about posting that but I just felt I had to say it,,, I am glad to hear from you just wish we were talking about a happier topic :)
from wordwhore :
Oh, unfortunately, he is going with, but I will have my own separate studio, with its own bathroom, so contact with him will be minimal, hopefully.
from dangerspouse :
Thanks very much! If you're in the area tomorrow drop by for some mush! :)
from wordwhore :
Essentially. I'm not falling for it emotionally, but as far as getting a free trip to TX and maybe getting the papers signed for real this time? I'd be down for that. 🙄
from in19seconds :
Andrew never responded to me about my archives not working - and it's not the same issue as what's listed under the help section either. Plus, I can't update my profile at all. It keeps going to a "hmm... an error happened.." page. Anyhow, I'm not a paid member. I just messed with the html/css stuff, and uploaded my image to my google account and linked to it on the page.
from yellow-ninja :
I'm COMPLETELY on-board for a courthouse wedding. Unfortunately, Prof considers that eloping. Plus, he's like religious and all. His worst feature, really. ;)
from wordwhore :
Certainly hard to miss Wall Drug!
from jimbostaxi :
Yooooo your here how awesome ! Thanks for the note I honestly don’t know what the heck I’m doing ,,,, I’m fighting calling or texting her it’s soooo hard,,, I left it off where I said don’t call or text me so I would be a fool to backtrack ,,, but I’m not going lie I’ve almost texted her like a million times this morning
from catsoul :
10.16.18 Hi. Thank you for your kind offer. Due to all my food allegeries and health concerns, I will not have anyone have to deal with me and them. So I can not ever do that. Thank you though for extending your kindness. You are so awesome. Peace. =^..^=
from wordwhore :
you're right - i'm sure the tiredness doesn't help!
from yellow-ninja :
Prof is actually really involved in his church and would love to have a nice ceremony there. He's just afraid of trying to get my conservative Catholic parents into a pro-LGBT Baptist church, and I'm afraid of admitting to them that I haven't been Catholic for years, haha!
from wordwhore :
It is DEFINITELY a huge time suck! On top of the rest. Endlessly scrolling is bad for the souling Lol
from wordwhore :
i definitely do need my own place. just have to get a car and new employment first...
from wordwhore :
^this name. oops
from wordwhore :
[<-this name]1 at yahoo.
from wordwhore :
Dland is not going away so far as I know, but there is always a chance. Andrew has made a lot of updates lately, so hopefully no time soon. I don't really want to circumvent MF, since it was based on his idea and the producers are his friends. We copyrighted it in both our names, as well. I'm considering talking to him about turning it into a book, if he's given up on TV, but I'd rather not do it that way either. I don't know. But, yeah, I will probably finish it, regardless.
from wordwhore :
in case you missed my tag in my entry, best of luck with the move!!
from wordwhore :
for some reason it says i need an invite to your blog even though i should have one already? but i'm on a new laptop, so... anyway, that req you got was from me!
from jimbostaxi :
Ty,! It keeps getting bigger and bigger I couldn’t go to see him I was stuck at jury duty :0(
from dangerspouse :
Ah, the chickadee was ok. At least he wasn't being snowed on. Thanks for the note! :)
from jimbostaxi :
[email protected] I usually check every few days :0)
from wordwhore :
I might've called 911, except my phone has a TN area code and it would've been dispatched to the wrong place (or that's how it used to work, anyway) and I was trying to avoid that. More fool me.
from jimbostaxi :
I know your right it’s just with all the people going public today I figured it might be and option,,thanks ! :0)
from yellow-ninja :
Distancing myself is definitely my go-to! She super hates that I do it, though, so it may not work this time. And yes, Prof is very, very lovely :)
from wordwhore :
Compassion is closer. And dingding! We have a winner! Dickhead it is LOL
from dangerspouse :
Orange wins by a landslide! Woot woot woot! Take THAT, NewWifey(tm), and your stupid artificial blues. Ha! Thanks for voting, kiddo :)
from wordwhore :
Well, I mean, I'm doing that, and it helps a little, but it's not really that great in terms of motivation. I need a goal of some kind. Something to work toward. I set one a year ago, as far as writing and finances, but it's not really feasible as originally structured, so I'm trying to shift directions.
from yellow-ninja :
Yeah, I'm sure it was. Thanks for the note.
from dangerspouse :
Er, make that "thanks for the NOTE". My ugly fingers are also pretty inaccurate.
from dangerspouse :
Trust me. You don't even want to see my hands, that's how ugly I am. Brrrrrrr. Maybe if I could learn animation.... LOL, thanks for the not, Bean! :)
from wordwhore :
EXACTLY! Men, indeed. Blech.
from dangerspouse :
Poor HAMMOCK?? Lol, thanks Bean :)
from yellow-ninja :
Yeah, dealing drugs is one mistake! You don't count each individual felony-level deal, ya know? You just lump it all together. Posting inspirational memes is still not a mistake in his book (though it really is in mine).
from wordwhore :
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! You have such good ideas.
from jimbostaxi :
yeppers I'm back ! :0) I made peace with myself least for now. At times my page is the polar opposite of who I am ,,, but it can also hit the bullseye of how I am also. People's perceptions are reality and there's no way I can control that... me and my jimbo persona are united and whole for the moment :0)
from yellow-ninja :
You're right. He still hasn't admitted to being what he is. And he's not going to give up his friendship with the guy who got him into this. And he's not leaving "the lifestyle" of Miami behind if he's still got his foot in this. The tat is still peeling a bit, but I'll get a picture once it's pretty again!
from yellow-ninja :
Exactly what I said, about the jobs, I mean! He gave me some bs excuse about applying "everywhere" for jobs but not getting hired. Still not a good enough reason to commit a felony.
from wordwhore :
Oh, don't tempt me Lol I have to fight the urge daily. Like at 5:45AM this morning when he left me the 9th bathroom surprise.
from dangerspouse :
Lol. That's true. There is NEVER leftover cake! :)
from wordwhore :
men, indeed!
from jimbostaxi :
Ty, for the note hope all is well with you :0) They may have thought they had me dead to rights but I escaped for now,,, It basically came down to its not what you know, it's what you can prove.
from wordwhore :
oh that was definitely the case previously, but now it doesn't seem to be that so much. it's less clingy and more invested, i don't know. still could be the same reason.
from yellow-ninja :
Right?! Incredible what some critical thinking can accomplish.
from dangerspouse :
Haha!! That was funny alright...and perhaps not even fiction. Yeesh. Thanks for that :)
from wordwhore :
sent you a FB msg with the info.
from jimbostaxi :
Send me a PW if you start one please :0) I started one on WP but I kind of like the subterranean feel that I get with DL. It's a feeling that's hard to replicate on the other sites so I keep coming back to DL till they fold
from jimbostaxi :
I've done that A few times over the years. Why do you want to start a new one and where?
from jimbostaxi :
Cocoas in the house !!! Hey ty for the note and yep you never can tell where help will come from :0)
from dangerspouse :
Whoops! I completely forgot to reply to your note after seeing it lo those many days ago! Sorry for being such an asshole. Again. But...I'm NOT sorry that I'm such an enabler to alcoholics everywhere! Wheeee! A slivowitz success story! Well done, Young Glasshoppa! Seriously, it made me feel great to read that. If only we lived closer we could compare our efforts - and maybe even get in a drunken cheap feel! God, talk about bringing back memories of my childhood....
from in19seconds :
https://wordpress.com/stats/day/kathoppa19.wordpress.com I just logged into my old diary for the first time since 2015 and read your note. I know it's been awhile, but I would love to keep in touch. I'm moving all my old diaryland entries over to the new site very slowly, but that's where I'll be from now on. I am following you over there, but haven't seen an update in awhile. I hope you are doing well.
from yellow-ninja :
Good idea! That's definitely something to look into.
from yellow-ninja :
True! And I'm so bottomed-out emotionally, I just don't even care anymore. When you're going through hell, keep going, as they say.
from jimbostaxi :
scumbags live forever but good people die way too early it's just not fair
from jimbostaxi :
I'll send you a password if you want
from jimbostaxi :
Locked up for the moment
from yellow-ninja :
But what are the old phrases being replaced with? That's what I can't figure out - what's being substituted? My kids couldn't come up with anything when I asked. I think it's an education/reading thing only because certain adults I know who are also unfamiliar with aphorisms/truisms also don't read and weren't read to.
from annanotbob2 :
xxxx
from jimbostaxi :
Typed it wrong Answer- hiding in the trunk :0)
from jimbostaxi :
Answer-sombebody in the trunk :0)
from yellow-ninja :
Exactly my problem!
from dangerspouse :
NOVEMBER? Seriously?? Damn, you need a better HMO....
from yellow-ninja :
Thank you for the note. The funeral itself wasn't that terrible, but those things are necessarily pretty unfun.
from jimbostaxi :
Yeah, I want the best for me,,,, this is a new concept for me I always have put others first so Im trying to figure this out as I go along. Lots of sleepless nights right now just worrying about every little thing.
from jimbostaxi :
As I count down the days in this evil place I wonder how I've lasted all these years, I'd rather be poorer and happy than miserable and richer thanks for always reading and all the great notes :0)
from jimbostaxi :
Jimbos official I passed my road test :0) phase one completed my new life plan has about 1000 phases so I've got 999 to go thanks for the note :0)
from jimbostaxi :
I was very nervous but it wasn't bad at all, haven't slept much today right now I'm driving a taxi and trying to make some cash! :0)
from jimbostaxi :
I think I'm doing good even bought a smaller size pants recently I didn't think I would ever do that again lol, the job thing is hilarious we all know but no one is speaking about it. Can't wait to pass that road test ! This way I can actually address the situation :0)
from jimbostaxi :
Imagine what kind of numbers you could put up if they wernt holding you back having you do other tasks, You could probably sell ice cubes to Eskimos!! :0) looking at that candy is making me very hungry looks really yummy
from wordwhore :
Thanks for the note. You know, until you wrote about it today, I'd completely forgotten you used to live in Wisconsin! I mention it because I know a bunch of people there (or from there) now (more so than anywhere else, excluding TN & TX, actually). You all have some similarities in personality - must be the frozen falling water ;)
from jimbostaxi :
Now more studying ugh! And i actually have to wear outside clothes ,,had to buy stuff today just to appear like a normal human being,,,, hope this is worth it ,, I know it is just afraid I guess ...
from eloira :
Thanks for the note! Anything's worth a try at this point :/
from jimbostaxi :
Yeah, I feel good about getting it and feel better about myself too! Baby steps you know ... Today a permit tommorow the world :0) Thanks for dropping me a note how have you been?
from raven72d :
Axolotls. Small, long-eared desert hedgehogs. Fennec foxes. All these are good things.
from hitch-hike :
Thanks for your kind words. I agree with them. Sometimes life is like a spiral, where certain things are revisited again but at a different angle or perspective :)
from jimbostaxi :
It's very messy with things being said by both, yeah I think your right I'm going to stay out.
from raven72d :
Always glad to have a new reader!
from jimbostaxi :
I think we're going have to circulate a petition to get you to update :0) just dropping by to say hi
from raven72d :
Well, then--- welcome aboard! (And I rather like Katherine Kurtz's novels, too)
from dangerspouse :
BEAN!! Lol - that was a great link. Thanks! I also loved the Onion headline when he died: "Scalia loses 30 year battle with social progress". Classic! Good riddance to bad garbage. How ya been, kid? You ever gonna update again? I've been curious about how things are progressing on your end. :)
from jimbostaxi :
Hey thanks for the note :9) we tried the primer first than the adhesive it's not sticking to the concrete. I think it might be a moisture issue at this point if you can give me some tips on what I'm doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated :0)
from jimbostaxi :
Thanks :0) I'm leaning towards the vinyl
from hitch-hike :
Thanks for visiting me!! You caught me during some interesting times, lol! It was definitely the curtain call for the #2 person, but at least my colleagues looked at it with some compassion. I've gone through changes before, just not quite like this, so this ride ought to be verrry, verrry interesting!!
from jimbostaxi :
Happy belated new year hope all is well
from starkitten01 :
I cannot thank you enough for your comments- you help me keep some sanity! It has been insanely stressful, this situation, and I appreciate your advice and your thoughts so very much! <3
from yellow-ninja :
Yep. That's a smart move. Five hours is usually far enough, but not enough to get me out of holidays.
from yellow-ninja :
Ha! My thoughts exactly. Poor thing.
from jimbostaxi :
Don't be a stranger I'm up every night all night drop on by :0)
from jimbostaxi :
Been awhile since I dropped in hope all is good with you :0)
from yellow-ninja :
I did get some coconut milk ice cream! I can't say it eased my frustration, but it sure tasted good. :)
from musikoid :
Sure thing! If you can shoot an email to andypope7 at zoho dot com, I'd prefer to reveal the info elsewhere than on the public notes page. Thanks -
from wordwhore :
Oh don't worry. I have no intentions of taking up the habit again (unless I live past a certain age - then I've given myself permission ;D)
from in19seconds :
I changed it to kathoppa19.wordpress.com. I didn't want three p's and I messed up by permanently deleting kathoppa so... kathoppa19 it is.
from life-my-way :
I don't think I have changed anything (because that would require effort and that's just not like me). The user name is its...is that what you were trying? If not, email and I'll send it (mkklose at gmail dot com). XOXO
from yellow-ninja :
You are just full of troubles!
from yellow-ninja :
Weird! I tried logging in from an incognito window (so without any cookies being stored) and it worked. Maybe clear your cookies/history?
from yellow-ninja :
You called it. I was all excited that he didn't text all day yesterday, but then he screwed it up by texting at like 9:30 last night. And again at 6 this morning, despite the fact that I didn't respond last night.
from yellow-ninja :
Thanks! My nephew is dragging a toy mouse in front of her as I type!
from sduckie :
You too beanie!!
from eloira :
Congrats on the award! Lovely pic of the moon and Venus too :)
from yellow-ninja :
Thank you! Always nice to be loved. :) Especially by people you kind of have to knock around sometimes for their own good.
from dangerspouse :
I love you :)
from yellow-ninja :
Right as always! I know I will definitely learn a ton and be a better educator because of this change. Thanks for the positivity - as I warned my friends/mom, I will likely be a very Needy Nellie the next few months. ;)
from yellow-ninja :
Always good to look at the bright (and dry) side! Thanks for the well-wishes - it definitely went well!
from eloira :
Hmmm, interesting idea... Not sure if it'd work as the chocolate would have a harder texture than the tablet, but may have to try, just to make sure! It'd probably work if broken into small segments then coated... I've had chocolate tablet, so there's a way to combine the two if it doesn't work :)
from eloira :
You can, but where's the fun in that? :) Just be careful, it seems it may thicken faster. I've only ever used person power but I know people who make it with electric beaters with fab results.
from eloira :
Apologies for the long post, but the recipe is up! Any questions, give me a shout.
from eloira :
Love the pictures!! The cacti are pretty amazing. As for the tablet recipe - would you like measurments in imperial, metric or US cups? I'll write it up in an entry.
from jimbostaxi :
Thanks for the note! :0) im waiting,,,, is she back yet? Jeez, i dont do waiting well :0(
from jimbostaxi :
being powerless to fix this is extremely frustrating. I can't fix it or forget it :0(
from jimbostaxi :
Nice certificate and pics :0)
from yellow-ninja :
Yep. Technically, it's two bachelor's degrees (economics and physics). Taking time out a semester at a time to go to rehab and jail a few times really stretched out his degrees. He was supposed to graduate in December, but didn't. I think he's a little scared about facing the real world with the record he's got.
from yellow-ninja :
That's what I thought about the texts, too! Both sent and received count towards that number, which makes it slightly better, but still! And yeah, you're right - we'll just have to see how it all shakes out.
from dangerspouse :
Thanks very, very much for the note of condolence, cocoabean. That was very sweet of you.
from jimbostaxi :
Love that area rug :o) I hate mold!! in my younger days I've lived in a few shitty basement apartments where mold was a big issue. I had to get the heck out of those places because I was always sick.
from wilberteets :
About your other note: when I have my summer home in Colorado, I will work from there. Ultimately, I would like to live in Colorado for at least the summer months or maybe for as much as 6 months of the year. The rest of the time I would live here. My work is mobile. I can do it from a laptop. I'm a lucky duck.
from wilberteets :
I think I am going to tell him all about himself next time he calls sober. He will be embarrassed about the things he says when he's drunk, but maybe he will think twice about drunk dialing me.
from sduckie :
I'm not really sure where to leave a comment on your new page... so I'll leave one here. Glad your puzzle was salvageable!
from hitch-hike :
Hello, thanks for stopping by and for the add!
from jimbostaxi :
Thanks for the note I wish I had changed it along time ago it looks so snazzy! :0) hows the pain from the gallbladder surgery? The incision site hurt for along time after "F" had hers done.
from jimbostaxi :
Ty for reading! ;0) my stuff is gradually evolving from just cab stuff to thoughts and feelings, hey I've even started to make some friend here! Theres hope for me yet :0) feel free to drop in anytime and chat :0)
from jimbostaxi :
Ty for the add on your list ;0)
from jimbostaxi :
Ty! :0) my motto is "go big or go home"!!Lmao.
from yellow-ninja :
Thanks! I love it!
from catsoul :
8/26/14...Thanks for the food thought. I can tell you that I have thought about that also lately. So time will tell. Have a good Thursday. Take Care. =^..^=
from wordwhore :
oooh, you're devious. i like you. ;)
from catsoul :
5/23/14...sooner the better, get the gall bladder out. My husband ended up in the hospital for two weeks with pancreatics because, even though he is a nurse, ignored the symptoms and just got sicker and sicker. They couldn't take out his gall bladder because of the pancreatics. You can die from this. So like I wrote before, schedule it sooner the better then recovery is easier. =^..^=
from catsoul :
Thanks for the frig. info, I didn't know that. Glad you had an awesome vacation. Sounds like a good place to retire perhaps. Take Care. =^..^=
from wilberteets :
I miss the good old days too.
from yellow-ninja :
Yeah - not the most mature. I try to remember she was raised in abusive family where stuff like this was the norm - there are some traits that just get ingrained deep and are tough to overcome.
from wilberteets :
Awwww. Somebody cared. :-)
from yellow-ninja :
You've always got my back, Cocoabeans. Thanks :) I will try to gently steer my family in the direction of leaving me alone, but most likely I will just end up grinning and bearing it.
from misspinkkate :
Thanks :)
from yellow-ninja :
Thanks for the note. And I think you hit it on the head - I have to be myself and myself wasn't really what he wanted/needed.
from sduckie :
thank you beanie. It has been very hard especially since it seems to happen to me SO MUCH. I consider myself pretty self-responsible and I'm always reviewing my actions so I don't feel I've done anything REALLY inconsiderate, maybe just little things I've overlooked? It can make one paranoid.
from wordwhore :
i'm not good with not snacking. when i need a snack, if i deprive myself, then i obsess and end up feeling full on hungry. what i tend to do instead is stick with the small portions idea. i kind of go, "ok, you can have the chips, but you can only have 3" and that way i stop and savor the ones i eat instead of mindlessly shoveling them into my gob like i once would have. ;)
from wordwhore :
glad you had such a good time!
from wordwhore :
thanks! =)
from yellow-ninja :
You're right, you're right! It's just hard for a high strung person for myself to follow such excellent advice. ;)
from cocoabean :
bummer!
from wordwhore :
Zenayda apparently does not want to be read by me, but thanks for the suggestion. =)
from fairygodmum :
hugzzz cocoabean.... pls leave me a msg on fb if you like.... or email me at [email protected]
from yellow-ninja :
Thank you! I'm pretty excited!
from yellow-ninja :
I appreciate the encouragement! I know I need to move out - I just live in a city where it's not possible to rent by myself. Buying is the only way to go, and I just have to get over my paralyzing fear of the home buying process.
from yellow-ninja :
I agree it is a bit weird for her to mention seeing me at the wedding and then not invite me. I really think it must just be a guest list issue - having too many people too invite with not enough resources to actually invite them all.
from yellow-ninja :
You're right about happiness in a job making up for not making much cash. Which is why I'm really conflicted about seeking new positions/possibly leaving. The bottom line at that place is that they will never be able to pay me what I'm worth, so does the rest make up for that?
from zenayda :
Hola! Thanks for stopping by. Check the comments on your latest WordPress entry and note the email address. ;-)
from yellow-ninja :
Thanks. I completely agree!
from annanotbob2 :
xxxxxxxx
from wilberteets :
Too bad we can't get together for coffee and hash out this new dream situation. :-)
from sduckie :
Thanks, Beanie, I didn't think it was cancer, but other people have really been freaking out! :D
from wilberteets :
Er... I dunno which cocobean is you on flikr. Who'da thunk there'd be several? hehe
from wilberteets :
I will add you to my flikr contacts so you can see. I thought I had it open to the general public, but apparently not. I'm guessing your flikr account is the same name as your d-land name. Mine is mimipics2 on flikr.
from sduckie :
Well, I did apologize for all the venting and crap I did years ago. That was true. It was just poor choices of people to talk to. I should know better than to trust any of those people! But thanks for being on my side Beanie <3
from sduckie :
Yes Beanie I'm sure that's exactly what he wanted... and he tried to bait me with the second email too. Who knows what will happen next... I'll keep you posted.
from starkitten01 :
Oh, how I wish we could have done just that! But Adam had to go and open his big mouth to The Hen : ( : ( : ( I am simply beside myself at how much of a hell she is making our lives now that she knows our intentions! I am glad you got your stitches out finally, and I hope your recovery continues to go smoothly :) HUGS
from yellow-ninja :
Glad your foot is recovering well and there was no infection! The thing I remember most about bunion surgery was how much more painful it was than I had expected. Good to know you're getting out of that phase!
from yellow-ninja :
I'm SO tempted to! But then I figure I've already held out this long, I should at least try to make it until Tuesday.
from sduckie :
Can I still write you notes here too? Well he hasn't called... but I appreciate your support. Hope your foot is mending easily and you are feeling good. Is anyone making you get-well-pudding???
from catsoul :
Thank you, thank you, oh wise Crystal Queen!! Awesome. =^..^=
from starkitten01 :
I really wish I could... Unfortunately there is only one car between Adam and I, and if it isn't repo'd, he will need it for work. The nearest town is over half an hour drive away, it's so far out in the country there is no public transit. :( I know; Yikes, right? *hug*
from catsoul :
He likes it way better so far than the old place. There is no differential pay so he doesn't like that, just overtime. I know, I would be just happy having a job right now. Thanks very much for asking about him. He still is always tired, you know men, it seems it is always something or other. Take care. =^..^=
from sduckie :
Yes- you are right- that thought crossed my mind. Do I want the kind of friends that withdraw and accuse rather than try to make things better? I think not. Hope your days are sunny!
from sduckie :
Yes. Derek definitely would have dragged me down- he was so verbally abusive and controlling! I bet with either one of those guys I never would have traveled or done much of anything!
from sduckie :
I know. Seems the internet has just made it easier for people to not communicate honestly! :(
from in19seconds :
It's been awhile, so now I'm going to go back into your diary as far as I can to where I left off and catch up with you. :-) In the meantime, here are some hugs thrown your way!
from wordwhore :
9/14/11 - Ha! No, it wouldn't...but it'd be funny! ;)
from sduckie :
Of course. Common sense to you and me, but that was an arranged marriage to his first cousin. They were divorced and now live together for the kids. So this is not a valid argument to Simon. I don't want to sleep with him whether he's married or single- at all. But I am afraid that if I tell him the truth about my relationship status, he'll try the same thing he did several years ago...
from misspinkkate :
Thought about that! Also thought of vacuuming really early, singing scales at the top of my lungs.... I thought of all sorts of terrible ideas :D
from evilyoyo :
ahhh! classical music strikes again! if I just thought of that six months ago! haha! me and the other occupants of the building just resorted to calling the cops until that failed... then we just gave up. i hope this silence lasts, but if not... i'll just blast some european techno music, should work!
from wordwhore :
well, shoot. i sent it again, so maybe this time. it's still a paraphrase of lover of semisweet chocolate at the googs mail, right?
from wordwhore :
thanks for the tip! hey, did you get enough ppl for gardens of time? i sent an email, but i don't know if you got it coz yahoo is weird sometimes.
from evilyoyo :
hehe thanks. It will be fine eventually, but for now me and my boss keep receiving "nice" emails how much of backstabbers we are. Oh well! His angry attitude and need to blame others for his faults were the reason why I did not want to work for him :)
from wordwhore :
i'm sorry, do i know you? coz i'm famous now, so i don't really keep track of all the "little people", LOL!! (also, *squeeeee*!!! (; )
from wordwhore :
thanks!
from evilyoyo :
Thank you thank you thank you!!!! :D
from sassymcgee :
Oh I like this entry!! It made me chuckle and I'm ALWAYS up for a good chuckle! :D
from life-my-way :
So glad you're having the happies now, too! It's great to feel contented and happy, greater to have a friend feeling that way too! XOXO K.
from wordwhore :
exactly! what kind of mother would let that go on without doing something? glad to know i'm not the only one who felt that way! we're not talking some teenager with her first child, either. she was on her 3rd kid and in her early 40s. no excuse.
from evilyoyo :
hehe, they're so secret that i'm still having trouble finding them...
from sduckie :
I'm not sure of all your tastes, but you might like it. I'm watching from the beginning and so far it's quite suspenseful. Happy new year to you!
from yellow-ninja :
Oh, she's helping, too. I guess I was in rant mode, not in "tell things like they actually are mode". But she expects that I help her move the basement stuff, too. And really, even having to move my own stuff out of my own room irks me. Especially when she was commenting last night how I was "bursting at the seams" with so much stuff in here. I said, "yeah, because I have one room to house my entire life." And she said "I know and you've stuffed it to the rafters."
from sduckie :
I have taken the mucinex a couple of times- but I'm still not feeling much better! Think I might just need to get home and rest!!
from sduckie :
I know right? There is so much crap on TV, it's nice to find a show with original writing and some suspense!
from misspinkkate :
A mattress full of money might not smell very great, but I'll take my chances!
from sassymcgee :
True. I just wonder if it's going to come down to us sneaking into restaurants that LOOK healthy but they'd be just a front for burger joints. We would have to buy our trans fats on the black market and would be put in jail for eating a chicken nugget. I don't live in Orwell's 1984 for crying out loud and hopefully I never will...
from sassymcgee :
I had to dump a so-called friend rather harshly once...but she knew why it was impossible for me to be her friend. I couldn't continue to be friends with someone who chose to sleep with every man I found attractive or who showed an interest in me. That was a worse betrayal than being cheated on...and obviously you know how I feel about that lol. That was years ago and the scar still hurts because I thought she was better than that...but obviously she didn't have the same definition of friend that I did.
from sassymcgee :
I almost thought about throwing extra stuff I had around the house like a toothbrush, some light bulbs...lol
from killsoft :
skeet skeet
from sduckie :
good point. thanks beanie!
from sduckie :
Yes, I think deep down she does believe she can change his mind, which is crazy! But I guess we're all insane about something.
from wordwhore :
they're petit pan/patty pan squash. 3 varieties. did you see the squash recipe i posted the other day ("food, food, food")? i don't know if i will try that or something else with these. since i've got 3, i may just try one raw, one roasted and one stuffed!
from misspinkkate :
Funny that you mention it! I'm on the board at my church, so we always have that basement- but even to rent that is a few hundred dollars, I think! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
from evilyoyo :
Hehe! I don't know if you get posts through diaryland, but i figured i'll try. From reading your latest posts, it seems that we both got our new computers on the same day! ;-) Hopefully yours is treating you as well as mine is :) ALSO! I agree about the Whoppers. Whoppers do make a day much better (not to advertise BK too much, but did you try the Whiplash one?)
from sduckie :
Thanks, Beanie. I think she is full of crap too. It was obviously a mistake because she thought I requested it and that's why she did it, but now she says it was her intuition. Turns out I may be able to get my product from one of my friends anyway, and I think that will be the best option. I hope this DOES happen to her a lot with her other customers!
from starkitten01 :
I wish I could. There's realistically no way out for me at this time. No means, nowhere to go (for the time being). It's a reality I struggle with daily.. : (
from starkitten01 :
Hi! I emailed you the information. :) *hugs*
from anne-surly :
you and fifi have been so wonderfully supportive. thank you X's a million. still getting the hang of DL, so i miss 'notes' and have to play catch up! ;)
from myramains :
Hi, Cocoabean! I'm sorry I goobed out and abandoned my shizz. Truth is, I encountered some drama brought on by those who knew of my diary. Because their greasy little eyes were all over it, I couldn't fuss there about them. Since, it seems I just haven't had anything entertaining to say. I've still got my buoyant personality in life and all, but it seems I only have steam enough to get through my days, and nothing to spare for writing. That's not true. I have another journal with only 5 little entries in it so far...but it's chock-fulla mewling and I don't think that'd be fun for anybody. I was surprised and warmed to find notice that you'd sent a note to me, and when I went back and saw how you were a regular, it made me sad that I just up and left without explanation. So there it is, and once again let me say how nice it was of you to leave a note. :) p.s....I love my diary, and I'll return. Just gotta get my mojo back first.
from fifidellabon :
Beanie, I am just SO glad that I found you all those months ago! I really look forward to your posts. XOFifi
from jonathan :
'cocoabean' & '2010' should do it!
from muppet23 :
Thanks for the support! One day at a time... Funny how many of my friends seemed not to smoke when I was smoking and now it seems as though they all do. Irony may be entertaining but it's not very sympathetic. =)
from russface :
Yup. Back home and sloowwwwwwlllly settling in. Do you make it back here occasionally?
from honeysimple :
oh btw honeysimple is home-of-d lol. The entry was moved there. :)
from honeysimple :
Apparently, I'm taking someone else's word for it since I didnt even know they existed outside a dr. office.
from sduckie :
Sorry, I should have specified- they make clogs and also shoes with backs. You can google "Dansko shoes". Nurses wear them a lot, and they have to have backs too.
from sduckie :
Try to get a pair of Dansko clogs... they are great for folks who are on their feet all the time...
from wordwhore :
oh, no, i asked for the number so i could call THEM, there will be no person calling to pretend they are from the bank, uh-uh. but his response was to just suggest i call title places, he didn't even give me the name of the bank, much less the number.
from buggerthat :
Happy Birthday I would have sent chocolate, but in that heat ...
from jimbostaxi :
How do you like using wordpress? I took a quick look at it but I seem to have trouble accessing some parts over the phone.
from russface :
Hiya. My gold membership runs out soon. I'm thinking of going to blogspot or something. What do you think?
from bunnymama :
Oi vey, what a day!! I'd have LOVED to have that kind of store credit!!!
from sduckie :
I would love to make a lemony cheesecake... can you send me the recipe? [email protected]
from bunnymama :
I tried to come on here earlier and it was down. I've only had that happen once before. Does it happen alot when I'm not trying to get on??? Side note: I have a WordPress too, but I didn't feel like fussing around on it to figger it out. In fact, I don't think I even posted anything in it. Come to think of it, I don't even remember my sn for it...Huh. Guess I'll have to find out. BTW, I'll try it with bacon. I need to cover up the gamey taste, which I used to be quite fond of, and I think bacon will do just that. Mmmm, bacon.
from diary--user :
It just seems so complicated! They told me I'd need to buy the CSS upgrade if I was going to edit the CSS myself.
from bunnymama :
I was in CA my Senior Christmas. It was blah and rainy the first two days and I was like, "Sunny California, huh?" but after that it was BEAUTIFUL. And now I know WHY they call it that. *sigh* I wish I could go back. Palm trees and ocean and DisneyLand and San Fran and the San Diego Zoo and the really super tall trees....Gosh, I wish.
from bunnymama :
My food never tastes as good as Mom's either. Not that it's horrible. It's just not as good. She always said it just took practice. *squint* Maybe she's got secret ingredients, too!
from bunnymama :
BTW, on Saturday, he was drinking beer after beer and brandy and water and old fashioneds (whatever those are) like mad. He was SMASHED. I'm surprised he didn't just fall flat on his face.
from bunnymama :
I don't think his is THAT bad. He usually has one or two beers when he gets home from work. If he goes to the bar, he has maybe 3. And sometimes one more when he gets home, right before bed. But on days that he doesn't go, he only has the 2 or 3 at home. *shrug* My BFF's dad, on the other hand....Yikes.
from bunnymama :
I see your point. However, I think that people make the decision to do dumb things(like drink). Some people LET the alcohol control them, but the lack of self-control to not drink in the first place is to blame. Maybe they're in their happy place when they're drunk. Maybe there they can forget whatever it is they're trying so desperately to forget. Either way, it's a decision that the individual makes: Let the addiction win, or don't.
from life-my-way :
A date, woot! Good for you and lucky him! Hoping you get your security door....K.
from bunnymama :
*laughs* I did that once. I used Comet with bleach and then something that had ammonia in it. Whoa. Good thing there's an exhaust fan in there. That's why I only use one at a time. Even if they won't clash. I do it in steps anyway. Shower, toilet, mirror and sink. I'll try bleach this time. Well, on Sunday I will.
from sduckie :
If it were that easy for me, I would have done it already.
from straysparrow :
Thankyou!!
from sduckie :
Thanks, lady. I know you're always there... I'm reading you too! Nice to see you getting more sunshine and a little more downtime than in your past life!
from coldandgray :
Thank you for your help. I guess I have to be a gold member to do the back-up; wouldn't you know it.
from bunnymama :
Ha!!!!! half an hour later or however long it's been....I get what you were tellling me!!! Ha!! oops. Thanks though!!
from bunnymama :
???? I know how to delete entries. I meant that I've been deleting people's notes. lol.
from coldandgray :
Hello! Have you ever tried to back-up your d'land site? I remember doing it once & could swear they had instructions on here somewhere of how to do it, but I cannot find it now. Do you know how to do this? Thanks. Keep enjoying your lovely day.
from bunnymama :
That's what I was going to do originally. Just guess and paste. But I was chicken that somehow, if I did, and it was wrong, that my computer was going to blow up. lol. Thanks!!
from bunnymama :
Mehhhhh there's no instructions for adding it to Dland!!! Heeeeeeelp meeeeeeeee!!!! (I got it at sitemeter, but I can't figger it out!)
from rdhdprincess :
Hey Beanie! Thanks for the steristrips advice. Just send Kevin to the store. I appreciate you!
from bunnymama :
do I have to be a GOLD member for that??
from enfinblue :
Hi beanie. I don't intend to open the diary up to others again. I'll let you know if I change my mind, though I am doubtful. I am writing only for myself at the moment. Cheers and thanks!
from playinghouse :
Thank you for your advice Nancy! Will do so next time.
from enfinblue :
Thanks for your kind note! Your weekend sounds like it was so much fun! I'm envious. :)
from in19seconds :
Thank you so much for the advice. I appreciate it. I'm finding out slowly (but surely) that it's normal to feel frustration in these situations. lol. Anyhow, I love your diary. I may not comment as much as I should, but I love reading your words.
from wordwhore :
you can and i did =)<br>
from wordwhore :
What will LO be like as an adult, you ask? Unfortunately, I am guessing, just like LOM. I left out the part where part of what she wrote was "I love daddy" -vomit-<br>
from misspinkkate :
Thank you!
from bunnymama :
Thank you, by the way. *hug*
from bunnymama :
Yes. August. *snort laughing* Don't ask me why they picked August. It's just about hurricane season, too, isn't it? I thought end of summer/beginning of fall was hurricane-y.
from sduckie :
Good point. That's what Bethany had suggested I do in the first place... but I didn't think that fast... plus I suppose it could be very embarrassing to admit I thought it was a date/misread signals and he could act all cool, like, "oh sorry... I never meant it to be a date..." Then I think I would just look like a dork. I don't think there will be a next time with Luke... and I'll be careful next time a man "asks" me to lunch!!!!!
from for-tart :
He is either bored with other subjects or in the haze of teenage love.
from russface :
Hi.
from enfinblue :
Ah brownies...one of my many favourite things. I would need a very long song to sing the praises of brownies and everything else. :)
from perfectfour :
Damn, I've always seen your name on the online list and I just checked out your diary. You've made so many entries this last past year or two. Good work!
from dulligirl :
Thanks for adding me. I'll do the same for you. Being off the internet for so long I had no idea of how many changes you'd made in your life. Take care!
from bunnymama :
You telling me to trust my gut...Even before you told me that, I knew in the back of my head that I should. I'm really grateful for the advice you give. I think that's what I'm gonna do...follow my gut instinct. *hug*
from selfsecret :
everyone present is considerate of others. i have the host's assurance.
from starkitten01 :
True. Part of me does feel like going back there when I need more stuff, and just being very defiant towards this little punk stalker of mine, and if he cannot understand what I'm saying, then have the *management* let him know that he's harassing a customer. I'm sure they don't appreciate knowing (if they know) that one of their "employees" is doing this, if that *was* in fact why they were paging him the other day repeatedly! The worst part is I believe he is a shift manager because of his shirt/tag! Sad! In retrospect, even after what I wrote last night, I think I will end up going back in there and fighting for my right to shop there if he continues the annoyances. Thanks for your input :-) <3
from selfbiased :
i do, but i only started that recently. and roundabout my ass. i can draw a straight line to the source; it's that easy.
from selfbiased :
we're not sure. do we know you, or do we come at a suggestion?
from rockhound :
I know - I wasn't taking potshots at anyone for expressing their concerns. Are you kidding me? Even I'm not that crazy. There was one person, however, who made the comment that if I did this they pretty much washed their hands of me. If that's the case, so be it. It isn't for everyone and I won't pretend I have no reservations. On the other hand, I'm willing to give it one more try before tossing everything aside for good. I'm going in with my eyes open and my skepticism set on maximum. I'm just sayin'.
from rockhound :
I tried to put this in comments but the Diaryland verification system doesn't grok my phone, lol. I figure about now you're camped out, drinking something and laughing your collective butts off. As for the WiFi connection, could Her Rosieness use it for access?
from bunnymama :
Yeah...I thought that too. We have our days where I think everything will be fine, then he goes and ruins my hope. *sigh* Am I kicking at a dead horse, here??
from misspinkkate :
Alas, maybe I just wasn't in the mood to give it a fair chance- the skipping didn't help. I'll give it a shot in another 10 years ;-P
from mpeacock :
mpeacock sammo :)
from englishsucks :
this may sounds funny to you; no joke! i am having a hard time reading your diary alone. everytime i go on your page to read, i get the huge urge to eat more chocolate! M&Ms, and KitKat bars. hahaha.
from blondeness :
I accidentally put this in my own notes! (Blonde!): I guess I did not really follow the campaign, but I wasn't saying I didn't have faith that he can give us the start we need, hopefully. Just as I was saying, I think he might inspire the "people" to have faith and that will help bring us out of this more state of economy, as we bring ourselves out of it in a way...I like how he commented on our founding fathers, and those who died for us, and how it has been done before, etc.
from fifidellabon :
Beanie, your comment was muy cryptic! I rarely entertain the thought of meeting onliners but I may meet one in the Spring of the year. XOFifi
from fifidellabon :
Beansers, I hadn't realised that you weren't on my list. Sorry for the gap there. XOFifi
from misspinkkate :
Girls names for boys have always been somewhat popular! My Dad had a Marine friend named Shannon. And there was a cute guy in my high school named Kelly.
from russface :
Came here with my wife's company on the three year contract. Best thing about it is the chance to see areas around here without having to fly so far from Chicago. That and our daughter gets to learn about different cultures that includes Arabic lessons. Why San Diego?
from russface :
Sure. A childhood friend of mine moved there during the white flight 70's, Belgium actually.
from russface :
Yes I am from Milwaukee. What town did you come from?
from sduckie :
As always, the voice of reason! :) Of course I couldn't do anything to hurt my friend... just makes life complicated I guess when the spark is obvious even if we're not acting on it. Ain't it just my luck?
from ingridwrites :
I'd much rather be Tink! :)
from ingridwrites :
Oddly enough, mom's boyfriend had considered charging my grandpa with domestic violence for being 'threatening'. If he'd have done that, all hell would have broken loose.
from bunnymama :
ROFL Yeah, I have. Just a little while, ago, actually. I wanted to see if it tasted like it smelled. It's icky. And it makes your mouth feel weird. And it doesn't taste very good with milk. (I tried to wash away the taste with a big glass of milk...Yuck)
from blondeness :
Thanks for your advice, but until I get my own digital camera that works, I have to use this work one. I asked if there was enough in the budget for a better camera but was told no, there was not.:(
from goodluckgold :
Hello cocoabean. I love dark chocolate too!!! And I'll be quite satisfied if I was stranded on a tropical island and I had that only to eat, hahahaha Sammy
from words-4-less :
I tried to comment in your comment section (twice) but it thinks I'm a spammer. Just expressing my opinion on gay marriage and the narrow minded religious people that insist on keeping it down. We, as a country, would have positive affects from legalizing gay marriage. It would help in benefits alone in insuring previously uninsured people, and that doesn't even factor in the fact that people live longer if they are married. Gas prices here are at $2.12 a gallon. I am hoping for below two bucks before too long!!!
from bunnymama :
Happy burfday!!! Have some chocolate!
from kalel592002 :
As you will see from the new entry, the situation with Devon has changed. Did I talk to her parents? No - because in some ways, they would not be part of the equation. Were our relationship to change, I think such a talk would be a good idea, but not needed now. I still think love can move mountains, call me a silly romantic fool.
from fightn4life :
I loved the picture of the guy standing on the horse. You sound as if you are having the time of your life. I am so happy for you, Sandyz (When I ry to leave a comment it says to copy numbers and or letters but none are displayed.) This is weird! Sandyz
from bindyree :
Just a quick note of thanks for doing what you can for Art; it would sure be nice if we could bust the bad guys here! Thanks!
from thecrankyone :
I'm not sure if it's me or diaryland, but everytime I try to go to your blog that last couple of days I just get the diaryland error page.

To be perfectly honest with you, I don't even expect promises. And I certainly don't expect an apology. That would be too much like taking responsibility for his actions. His style is more to slink away for a while, thinking I'll forget about it.
from blondeness :
Hi, thanks for your note. I tried to email you my password and it would not go through to the address you gave me or by using the @ and . instead of DOT. Please email me at [email protected] and I'll reply with my password. Thanks.:) Oh, and I am a chocholic too! And a big Bon Jovi fan! I see Carebear is the read we have in common. :)
from catsoul :

from bluebouquet :
It's nice when she sleeps b/c then I can try to get stuff done, although I usually end up just watching TV instead!!

from bluebouquet :
Yeah, he does, but the doc says he can still boink. I don't know if it's just another BS excuse or not, but whatev.
from ladybug-red :
I found my way into your old place to get caught up a bit. I am SO proud of you. You have done such amazing things, taking charge of your life and surrounding yourself with such wonderful friends. You go girl!
from chakra-chick :
Hi there! Please give an e-mail addy where I can send my password to.
from ladybug-red :
Ok first thing - thanks for the note and helping me find you again. Second thing - holy moly! How things have changed for you since I've been away. I started reading your entries and wondered if I somehow had the wrong place. I think I'm pretty much caught up now but somewhere between your leg injury a couple of years ago and your move earlier this year, I missed some pretty significant things!
from starkitten01 :
P.S. Hang in there, I know it sucks sometimes working *anywhere*.. It's just how it is, you put up with a lot of CRAP to have the income. There are bad times, AND there are good times! So keep looking forward to the good ones :) You know you weren't at fault for that last big amount of money that had been paid to your register all at once-- and I'm positive they knew that, too. Hang in there, sweetie, *BIG HUGS!*
from starkitten01 :
I'd really love that! We/I don't get down that way very often, that was a rarity b/c it was my bday, but yeah if we make any plans again to go down that way I'll surely drop you a line or something! I'd love to meet too! :)
from kalel592002 :
Glad your new life is going so well - mine is in a state of flux right at the moment and believe it or not, back to the library after all these years. Still glad you enjoy DLand after all this time.
from im2qt2kr :
Thank you Ms. Cocoa. I wish you could have met the little guy. He was very special.
from bluebouquet :
I did try a baby swing. She passed out in about two minutes, and she had been wide awake!!
from bluebouquet :
I am SO jealous of your little library!! My dream since I was 5 was to have wall to wall books, maybe even up to the ceiling like in Beauty and the Beast. Again, SO jealous!!
from bluebouquet :
I live in Waukesha. If you aren't from this part of the state, it's near Milwaukee. Where did you used to live?? BTW, I was in CA a couple years ago for Christmas. Loved it.

from mpeacock :
Yes, but I never put anything about being single or looking or any info like that:)
from starhearts :
Thanks for the note..I think we have always been saying we need certain things but in the end John did not ever interpret my needs as being different then what he would need..so he did not hear it and therefore did not know. I knew as I watched him but I always thought that he should have healthier responses then withdrawing. Now I realize it is the fight or flight syndrom..I fight things out..he runs. I gain support as an extravert when I am upset by someone looking for me and a hug and a talk, he is an introvert and finds strength again from being alone when he is upset or sick. It is who we always have been but because we are opposites we don't respond and now he is asking me to name what I need from him so he does understand, but I blew up in councilling anough that he is very close to the end if not past it. He has said I will not survive if I have to accept that I have to leave him and if he leaves me then I will see it as him punishing me and still not be ok...in that statement he forgot to say we could work on things and stand through this and become what we need to be as a couple. And it was that missing statement that says he is looking to leave and does not know how. So when I am well if not before he will chose that..when he chose to rent his apartment I saw that potential and that is the crisis I hit then in loosing hope...long story..keep reading as I REALLY hope I am wrong about him and his next set of choices.....I love him and this stuff hurts like hell. HUGS..C.

Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. -- forrest gump. but that's not true for you, is it? you know all the flavours in your box.
from starkitten01 :
Yeah it sucks, if you go on usps. com and go to the forward mail link, once you fill out the form, then it asks for identity verification and they want to charge the credit card in the person's name on the form for $1.00. I spoke to the mail person here and yeah, she confirmed that's how it is. But she sent me some forms that could be filled out to officially change their address over to where they're living at.. So I'm happy to say that's finally getting taken care of!
from starkitten01 :
You named some familiar places here in Cali.. Me thinks you're staying pretty local to me, small world!!!! :-) Hoping you're enjoying it here, SANS the HORRID gas prices! :-X LOL

Hoo Boy! I am getting so pissed off at this comments form, which keeps saying that:A. I didn't get the word right, and B. I am a spammer! I am SO not a spammer! Now, I will try to post what I wanted to post originally. *LOL* at Shippie! Who knows, with all of the mega-stores and stuff, maybe you CAN get a bed and open a bank account at the DMV! Just make sure you allot enough time, in fact, you may want to call and make an appointment, if they are still doing that.
