Well, it certainly took me long enough to get back to this very sad critique of my poetry diary. Your main problem seemed to be that it was, of course, a poetry diary. Which I'm pretty sure that I mentioned that little fact when I applied for a critique so to be suprised? annoyed? disappointed? about that, that would be your problem, not mine. I have a seperate diary I use to write about my boring life and it is certainly your right to consider the poetry boring. I hate that for you. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents worth, no matter how late I was at throwing it.

simply because i tend to use foul language in (almost) every entry i've written (i haven't actually gone back to check) multiple times, but it said on the rules list that i shouldn't bother applying... i tried my luck, but i feel i use the f-word very constructivly :)

I just read your review of my journal, and I must say I'm quite dissappointed. I'm nearly positive that there are not cuss words in every single entry, especially after recieving the notice that the rule had been changed. I might've let one slip here and there, but I'm not one to ignore rules, and I truly did stop the swearing after the rule changed. I was also hoping that you would judge on the actual writing, rather than upon your opinions of the topics I write about. Other than those things I have no problems. I agree with the links, though I'm not about to change them. I did attempt to have a little box appear when you hovered over them and they'd say what they were really for, but that didn't work. Anyways, thanks for the review.

Hm... Well, I don't think I excessively swear. There is NOT a swear word every other paragraph, and I usually only swear when I'm in an angry mood or have had a bad day, or something. I've never locked it, so I guess that IS the problem. If you're not going to review me because of something petty like that, then I'm sorry.

Uggh. None of the rules are really a problem. There may be a bit of swearing here and there but I don't really classify it as a lot of swearing. Just some. Depending on how I feel. I agree totally with tia-marie... same.

Looked through the new rules... I don't think they will be a problem... My template has clothing on... and as for swearing... Well I'm not a constant swearer, but... Yeah I'll admit depending on how I feel..>hehe depends on the content of my journal. I don't believe in censoring my own private thoughts. As I have said in the past, I treat my webblog like my private diary, it just HAPPENS to be online. I don't believe in censoring how I feel just because other people read it...If I were ashamed of my private feelings/thoughts I don't have any right to place my diary online.

Perhaps you should a "no swearing" clause to your rules list? Of course, a better idea, when considering content, might be to consider the actual CONTENT, but if you're unable to see past a few four-letter words, perhaps you ought warn potential review-ees about that ahead of time.

I have also been to Emerald Blaze's diary a million times. I do not understand how you can write such a horribly inaccurate review. Perhaps, as is your right, you do not agree with the picture. However, rather then calling it pornographic, perhaps a spart of a critique towards the layout you could mention the reason why you felt the image to be pornographic. As a diary critique/review site you are allowing yourself to be succeptible to such images, some potentially worse. No where on your site does it say that such images are not allowed, not even in the rules. As far as Emerald Blaze had known, she was breaking none of your rules. If you consider such images to be pornographic and you feel you cannot review her site, fine. Simply tell her personally the image offends you. Have you thought about how others might feel about this image? It is not your right to call her choice of an image pornographic and solicit it as such. I believe you should update your rules if you wish to avoid further complications in the future. You also should apologize to Emerald Blaze, as far as she knew, she was violating no rules you had set out. The fact that Diaryland allows the picture as part of her personal template only further proves that it is not pornographic. If you cannot help but stare at such a 'pornographic' picture whilst reviewing, then the least you can due is remove your current so-called review. Emerald Blaze has done nothing to deserve that kind of harassement. An apology would be nice, but a true review would be the best, considering you wrongfully accused her of promoting pornography. As I meantioned before, perhaps you should update your rules if such things disturb you so much.

My opinion still stands. Maybe I was harsh, but I don't like what I saw, and I'm not going to stare at it while reviewing. I don't like looking at naked people, even if "nothing's showing."

I have been to Emerald Blaze's diary a billion times. I have never seen a 'porn pop up add'. As for the 'porn picture' up on her page, I belive it to be a wonderful picture and do not see what is so pornagraphic about it. Of course, every person has their own idea's about what they consider to be pornagraphic, however to encourage people not to see this particular diary is very very unprofessional of you. If you didn't like it, thats fine, as it is your own choice. I just don't agree with your very short and blunt 'review'. It wasn't a review, more like a slam agaisnt another person's idea of art/ideas/creativity.

I do not understand why you will not review my page. I do not have a pop up anything, linking to my page (I checked on several computers) perhaps the computer you viewed my diary on, had one of those ad poppers in the computer. Also I do not have porn on my page, I have fantsy/sci fi art as my main image and yes I guess she isn't wearing anything, but you can't see "anything" not even a bum crack. I am Troubled at what you have said, and I feel that I’ve have been misjudged. Please reconsider reviewing my diary.
