Not of your faith, but many of my friends are, and it always seems that when you are in need of a calling, one seems to appear. BTW, it just thrills me to read you diary. Again - we have different backgrounds, but I really like the insight that you give me. Thank you for that.

I hate to go to a salon and pay for something I won't like anyway. So I often do my own snipping with the same (tragic) results! lol Then I have to go to a salon to get it fixed! lol

Isn't it a trip to play in front of people? And I love your description of Ryan, lol...that's how people would describe me I think. Maybe that's why I dig him so much. I think it's scarier to play in front of 5 people than it is in front of a bunch though. That's pretty intimate, so congrats! Keep it up!

pixie0323 : |

hey. what you really need is a good night of hot cocoa/movies, then another night of public tipsiness and laughing at stupid people. the weekend combo always makes me feel better!

Ooh, I'm there. Yummy hot cocoa, with lots of mini-marshmallows, a few good "chic flicks", and a box of tissues. *sigh*

I could NEVER play guitar in front of folks, I'm too miserable a guitarist! And SING? I'd drop dead from embarrassment! Nope! Not me! I could never do it!

jury is still out on rock and roll. i like the sound even though it isn't himish, i just think it sounds kind of classic. but i'm not just falling over myself for it. i still put in gold or heartbreaker before that. and see, the thing about him on letterman was, he didn't play anything. i wanted to see him on a stool, playing guitar, smoking a cigar, with a harmonica around his neck. that's the ryan i know.
|
| from
amyjo : |
|
i wish you had seen him. he was so....mmm. (growls) if he ever puts out a live dvd, i'll buy it. and play it all the time. heck, i'll buy a special tv like a picture frame to play it. by the way, have you heard his newest cd? what do you think of it? and by the way, i promise this isn't all i care/talk about. seriously. you just hit a chord.

Hey. sorry to hear about tragic sweater incident. sometimes you just have to take one for the team i suppose. just be sure that she gets her payback, whether she realizes it or not! and if you like the be good tanyas, you might want to check out Po' Girl. they're a group that trish from the b.g.t. started. new but worth it and will keep getting better.

Hey! Just started reading ya, since we seem to have a lot in common, interests-wise. I've been trying for AGES to get into the children's lit. class at my school. my fave is the Golden Books Treasury of Elves and Fairies. i still love that book! oh, and i just got the patty griffin "a kiss in time" album and dvd today. it's awesome!

bub66ohm : |

How about "James and the Giant Peach", "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" or " a tsk in time". Or the best little kids book of all time, "Good night Moon". The Be good tanyas rock as well, I found out about them through Kathleen Edwards.

It's okay, we all do the comparison. It's only natural and nothing agaisnt the person we are with. I think part of it is because we want to improve and not have the same issues. Don't worry, it will work out. Hugs, Dani.

Okay, here they are: 1) I know you have strong religious beliefs and great faith. That being said, sometimes the rules of organized religion seem to not make a great deal of sense. Is there anything about the Morman faith you would like to change? 2) World peace - possible or impossible? 3) What movie do you most directly relate to and why? 4) If your life was a book what would the title be? 5) It's your last day on earth. What do you do?

it's very difficult to get health insurance when there is a lapse in coverage, especially if there is a "pre-existing" health condition, such as gallstones even. *sigh* we've been through this sort of trouble ourselves, my health has been sooo poor, and we've gotten a lot of hassel. if he's really sick you can probably take him to a county hospital, they have to accept you regardless if you are insured or not, and they can send you a bill (though they whine about it). good luck!
