As I said more than once in there, it's my opinion. I know a lot don't consider those words derogatory, just a statement of fact. And that's all right, I accept that. It's just how I feel. Hope the packing is going well and you're feeling better.

Hi Emma - I had the chance to read your diary...I read the one about going to this new group and I think that it could be really good as a support network and alot of fun. When I was a single mom I went with my kids to a single mom's group for low income people...same idea..we were all on welfare, all "charity cases" and you know what....that group supported me to no end, I found my self esteme and boy did I grow in relationships with people and they were people....not single moms, not welfare cases, not charity cases, not hopeless failures....they were PEOPLE...and so was I. Just some thoughts that you need to look at labelling others just like people can label you..don't do it, people deserve more than that and they have gifts that are special that you can discover if you are open to it.....I think that is possible.....just some thoughts......everyone needs friends, me too that is why I write you :)

Hi :) It was kind of a tough day today, but that quote was something that I found when studying to write a sermon a few weeks ago. It kind of helped to find it again and so I thought I would add it in. Your email today says that you work which is great! Your work sounds interesting :) And I do agree that gossip is not helpful at all, neither is being judgemental and that is just plain hurtful. Glad you called it like it is!!!!

Hi Emma...I like that song. It is from one of the Sister Act movies (and likely other places too.) You must wonder at the content of my site...there is someone I am interested in who happens to sometimes drop in to read it...sorry for some of the stranger content, but that song is pretty special too me too. I am not quite as strange in real life and certainly not as exciting as I try to make out on Diaryland (but don't tell anyone :)...we girls sometimes like to have fun too :) Anyways thanks for the comments about the eye is on the sparrow and yes that is the title as far as I know. take care!!!!

Thanks for the note and here I thought I was being original :) That is a really interesting startle as I would not have hit your diaryland except that there was a pop up on the top of the page and i like purple so I thought "humm wonder what that is :)" Then I read some of your site and thought..you know what she is pretty neat :) So I am glad you emailed so quickly back! I put you on my site as one of my favourites as I liked what you had to say so far and hope to keep reading. So thank you :)

I'm flying in to London on Oct. 2 and I get to Oxford on the 4th. I'm really excited and a bit nervous too, since this will be the farthest from my family, and the most independent I've ever been to date .... (even though Dad's coming with me to make sure I get settled in, etc.)

Em, yeah things are going ok. They're gonna get a lil busy until after my birthday with family coming and going, so...I've been preoccupied with that--well, the anticipation. Then the funeral of a ward member, plus Egypt went AWOL for a few days, aannndd my new nephew's birth coming up has had me self-absorbed.
