i'm sure glad you're feeling giddy. it's high time, i tell you. damn it. now give me your password so i can fix your template! and also, did you sign up for haloscan? if so, give me your password for that, too, so i can put it on your diary so i don't have to leave these notes every time. =) i love you!
from dietsoda9 :
It has been well over 17 seconds and I am NOT over it. Spill the beans immediately. Kristen
from blueavenue :
i called you. i didn't leave a message cuz i don't know why. but yes, give me your d-land password and i will fix your template for you. hehe. XO!!!
from blueavenue :
we like you. sorry i haven't called you back. it's not because i don't want to. i do. i just suck big ass. whoo.
from scud :
you are correct in guessing I haven't seen it. But not because I didn't hear it was good, it was mostly because I never had HBO or whatever pay-channel it was on. So I missed out on seeing it.
from blueavenue :
see! scud reads! scud is the coolest. and YES i will need a full Cameron update, please. and also: tomorrow i'm working (ironically) a temp job (yes, on saturday) at a lawfirm that has the first word "cameron" in the name. WEIRD.
from scud :
I'm pretty sure I fall outside of that category of 'people you talk to on the phone' and I still enjoy reading what you write. Never fear, if you keep writing, people will come around.
from blueavenue :
your mother IS crazy. i didn't even know. i thought mine was the crazy one. oh wait, she still is. hehe. just kidding, i love you mom! lol. at least you're not having lesbian sex on the train, right? let's talk soon.
from blueavenue :
hehe, that was a funny entry. sorry bout the dog shit, too. and i know you said the wedding was drama-free, but i hope there will be more details following soon. and what you said about the sudanese genocide was hiLARious. i mean, not that genocide itself, obviously, but your comparison. i'm stopping while i'm behind...
from s0crates :
You know me too well. But I've stopped laughing, don't worry, and I think it's great that you finally acknowledge what we've known all along. :-)
from s0crates :
Right. And I liked the story too.
from blueavenue :
i liked your story. and YEAH with the enough is enough entry. i feel. your. pain. amen.
from s0crates :
Agreed. GREAT new lay out. Can I just say 'case in point' regarding this story and my thoughts on your feelings for MM? Yes, that's right. Case. In. Point. Now if only I could apply such BRILLIANT logic to the LSATs...
from blueavenue :
yeah man! and also: i really DO like this new layout. it's very relaxing, and of course i love the colors! and it's beachy! you know how i love the beach.
from s0crates :
You're not a writer my behind. That was great. How soon before the fiction becomes reality and you're down visiting MM??
from blueavenue :
hey! i thought you said you're NOT a writer! whatev, that was really good. punk. lol.
from blueavenue :
aww. i'm sad you were feeling lonely and confused about the impending end. i know it must be so hard, and you have seemed to handle it so well, so it's ok to be upset sometimes. never fear; i'm hear to listen whenever you need! and also: please move to new york. k thanks.
from muppet23 :
Thank you so much for my b-day wishes!! That was absolutely AWESOME!! =) YOU RULE!
from blueavenue :
lordy lordy, he's coming back tomorrow...yes must talk soon. also: it's good to be passionate about things; it's probably just easier to feel emotions about things that aren't quite so close to home, ya know? makes sense i think.
from blueavenue :
i'm a horrible friend. i am sorry. i will talk to you very soon. if you still want me, that is. =) sigh.
from bohemianlife :
I find it disgusting that people in our age group don't vote. And it also dawned on me a few days ago (after watching the brilliant Bill Maher) that there is a generation of youth right now that were young and heavily influenced by 9-11. They basically 'grew up' in a time when it was considered wrong to say anything against the government for fear of it getting us attached and so forth. This really scares me because the younger generations are supposed to be the ones who revolt agains the government and question it. And your dead on about the current events thing. But don't you think it's all because we have a system in place that requires teachers almost exclusively teach kids just what they need to know to pass tests...it's really sad.
from bohemianlife :
thanks so much for the note...it's always great to know that people are relating to what i'm writing about and feeling and that i'm not just alone out in the world! oh, and as you can tell i'm a big fan of the run-on sentence!
from blueavenue :
i LOVE run-on sentences. love. will update tomorrow.
from muppet23 :
Hey - if ever you want to go to Europe, you just let me know! =) I'm a pro now that I've been there once (ha). Please see my TWELVE freaking chapters about Paris, Amsterdam and Nijmegen. Plannin' (kinda) a trip to Dublin next - most likely by myself... (see how I didn't mention one word about your mom?? Oh shit....).
from hamiltonian :
Just letting you know I am still here and like the way you write, just wish you'd do more of it.
from muppet23 :
WOO HOO!! I love being mentioned in the midst of someone else's diary - hehehehe. Don't worry about drinking a bit of wine on your own... I'm usually here, every night, all alone, drinking captain and cokes and littering everyone's D-Land with unusually dry bits of verbage that I think are funny at the time - until the morning light proves otherwise... You have to be good at something and, by golly, I'm good at that. =) 'A VERY happy unBirthday (to me?). TO YOU!'
from muppet23 :
According to your latest entry, it is my Birthday (Mar. 28). Commence well wishes and gift giving NOW. Thank you. =)
from blueavenue :
ugh. all i know to say about all that is ugh. let's all sigh in unison now. necessito talk-o soon-o. LOL. i'm an idiot.
from hamiltonian :
keep writing dc
from s0crates :
WHERE DID YOU GO?? Come Back!! I mean it isn't like I could walk to your house and bang your door down to see what's going on in your life!! :-)
from blueavenue :
p.s. yes. i CAN say bi-polar. BI-POLAR. see?
from blueavenue :
WOW. if i may say so, WTF?! he LEFT you with NO freaking cash to get HOME? i am NOT happy. k great. but anyway, i wasn't even totally bored, and i already knew most of it! hehe. so never fear, girly! we need to talk SOON, k?
from blueavenue :
please refer to my comments. =)
from bohemianlife :
I'm with you...I don't really have a thing for Colin Firth - just fit the bathtub theme and I know others like him. As for Colin Farrell on the other hand - I've I went into the details on that one, it would be x-rated. Have you seen The Recruit? Just that one seen with him and the girl is enough induce dizzy spells. At least in me! Have a great weekend.
from muppet23 :
Glad you enjoyed my bits of senseless banter (I should say 'epics of senseless banter') and thanks for stopping by!! I'm going to have to go through your archives to see what it is exactly that you DO considering the buddies you mentioned in your latest entry are a Monkey and Bill Clinton... VERY interesting to me, to say the least. Now I must go praise Gayla for adding another reader to my (eh HEM) humble blog... =) Toodles!
from blueavenue :
you ARE still fabulous, and don't you forget it, baby. ;) send me a danny, or bring me a danny with you next week. heh.
from blueavenue :
did you really just write "gotta find a place to stay?" OK, i didn't THINK so. mm-hmm. buh-bye. =)
from scud :
sorry you're feelin shitty, and if all your friends are MIA then it's time to find new ones!
from blueavenue :
where have you BEEN all MY life? =) necesito talkie-talkie real soon-like. if we lived in the same friggin' city we would SO be chillin' right now. well, actually it's 3:15 am, but you know what i mean.
from blueavenue :
awww. =) well, no one can ever accuse you of not caring.
from blueavenue :
uh. you know how i can't make decisions. k great.
from blueavenue :
yodel! funny entry. you should get comments. or not. maybe i'm just excited. lol. anyway, i will try to post an entry w/last nite's shenanigans later if i am not dead (i mean asleep). agh.

from zuzus-petals :
Your design is awesome! Good luck with the consulting duo and with HRC. One day, when I'm feeling more clever, I'll petition to be in the cool club. In the meantime.. I enjoyed your blog and will likely visit again! - Zuzu
from s0crates :
I LOVE the new design. Well Done.
from blueavenue :
dude. we rule.
from bohemianlife :
I like the layout...and the definition for liberal is great!
from s0crates :
I stick my toungue out at you!! I KNEW it was just a matter of time before I heard both your comments!!!!! Number 1 -- yes, you where right. there, i said it. this diaryland thing is neat. Number 2 -- I didn't say it would NEVER work out, I just said the probability is low. It could very well work out, which is why we're still together! :-)
from s0crates :
I think that society has decided to dictate how one should feel about certain situations when in reality, the way one should feel is the way ONE DOES FEEL, not the way someone else or everyone else feels, because then it's not really a feeling anymore. I think it's a common thing to feel guilty because you don't feel guilty, I've felt it too many times to count, and I now say to you shame on society for making people feel bad for being themselves and being original and having feelings that are their own because THAT is waht is real and true and honest, not feeling someway because someone says they should. So in any event I think there is nothing to feel bad about in any event. The sun rose and it shone for awhile but it has set, and as far as I'm concerned, now that the sun has gone down there is nothing wrong with having a night life. :-)
from blueavenue :
yeah, i 2nd that, soda. also, this snow SUCKS. k bye.
from dietsoda9 :
I wouldn't worry too much about the non-remorse phase you're going through. In my humble opinion, there could be a number of normal reasons for your reaction to your divorce-in-waiting. You're fine. Better this than to be disabled with grief.
from blueavenue :
that little mother fucker. i will hunt him down myself if i have to for dragging you out of nyc 2 days early for NOTHING. i am so mad. ARGH.
from dietsoda9 :
Thanks for the complement on my new template. The only thing is I don't like it. It's better than whatever they had, but it's just too girly or something. I'm not sure. I'm on the quest to find one I like right now! Oh, and I can't wait to hang out tomorrow night for din-din. YUM!
from bohemianlife :
Just wanted to say hi...found you through blueavenue's advertistement of your unlocking, great diary, and hope you won't mind me adding you!
from blueavenue :
said peanut gallery will consider possible code names and get back to you. peanut gallery also found your cover letter last night, with 'corrections/suggestions,' and will talk to you about it later. (duh, it's been like 2 weeks! sorry!)
from blueavenue :
so that wasn't 5 hours. ha. ugh. life sucks. (and we suck AT it.) =)
from blueavenue :
hahaHA. you're quite welcome. HA.
from blueavenue :
i have NEVER done that; sat by the phone...heh. call you in a bit...
from blueavenue :
