Couldn't get your guestbook to work. Let's try this here. Good thing I saved it... :)
I'm glad you're still around too, man. I get worried sometimes because of the broken images on your layout...gives it that abandoned feel.
But yeah, there were suddenly so many different blogging sites that people scattered into the far, four winds. Some I've kept up with elsewhere, others not. I clear my buddylist every...six months or so. I don't feel like tracking *everyone* one down to their new blogging community. Too much to keep up with.
I still prefer Diaryland overall because of the freedom of html. Other sites either allow only their own layouts or they have their own way of coding that I don't feel like being forced to learn in order to change a layout. I'll stick to DL.
And I totally relate to saying "fuck it" to updating because you go blank or your tired. I do it all the time these days. I know what I want to write, but I go blank once I get to the site. *GRR*

patrick kelly is in this really cool movie called the song catcher about a woman who collects all of the old traditional songs. also i just read not too long ago (which i didn't know and you probably already did)that michael powell the same guy who declared war on howard stern because he worked for the f.c.c. is colin powell's son. and once colin left office he left the f.c.c. as well. weird how family can get you in places isn't it?

You want tri-gun? Tri-gun can easily be arranged--all the episodes, on illegal you-can-only-watch-them-on-your-computer disks. All I have to do is go down to college, flirt with Anime Dave outrageously, and then be loaded down with more stuff than I can handle. (I've been meaning to get another set of Trigun for myself, anyway, as I gave the other one to my ex in a fit of stupidity about a year and a half ago.) As a P.S.--have you ever watched Excel Saga? It's glorious and horribly psychotic and awesome.

Hell, don't get me started on it not being the majority. 'Sbad enough he stole the election both times (and the SHIT that is going down in the country), I was more just pissed off that it seems like most people smart enough to want to vote this asshole outta office, were so fed up with the electoral system bullshit that they didn't vote. RE: Sven's comment: "Don't they know how everybody in the world hates them?" Please tell him someday that judging people based on: gender, religion, appearance, and even country of birth is *discriminatory*. It is Facsist at its worst and frankly just as "dumb and ignorant" as the American stereotype (which may be deserved) he is attacking. While he is right that plenty of people hate "Americans", this doesn't mean they are right or wrong. The minute you make generalizations like that, you are as bad as the ignorant stupid fearful behavior you don't like. Anyway, being a big industrial music fan, it is hard not to realize that many of these artists aren't trying to replace one sort of stupid ignorant behavior with a totally different one. The sacrasm / satire that characterise their art is suppose to get people to think. Anyway, my point is if he hates stupid fucking laws (like I do), he isn't gonna change them by adopting a different but similar stupid ignorant mindset. (I know ... he is only 17 years old, but still I _am_ a bit afraid he could turn into the same type of judgemental and hateful person he obviously hates in the American stereotype -- kinda makes me sad.)

i agree with you about the smokescreen. bush must've gone, "oh no, they're gonna find out i don't know what i'm doing! well, time for plan F: ruin thousands of american citizens' lives!" plan F because he's exhausted plans A-E. LOL tiger's been yowling at the vet in a very annoyed way, so i assume she's getting better. if she's bothering the other patients, it's a good sign. i've never been so relieved in my life to know she's annoying someone. :) is the comic a web comic or is it a paper comic? or both? :)

is Heart of the City a comic? i don't think our papers carry it. we get two different ones. :) also, thanks. i hope she gets better soon. it's heart-wrenching to watch her lie around like that. she's never that calm, and while it was nice to have her calm enough to sleep like that, it was awful knowing that it was because she feels so bad. :( i think she'll get better. i feel helpless not being able to make her better. we've had her 10 or so years and she's never been sick like this before.

I have to figure out how to transfer vinyl to CD because I have tons of old-school metal on vinyl. I felt the same way about Cirith Ungol, I pronounced it like you did, then saw ROTK and they pronounced it differently. I wonder how the band actually pronounces their name. Oh, and I got that Probot CD for Valentine's Day. I only listened to it once, but it's awesome, except that the Tom G. Warrior song does NOT sound like Celtic Frost, at least not the version of the band that I like. But, I thought it was awesome that Dave Grohl wrote every song as if he was in that band. Hysterical! \m/

*and jo's heart stops* egads, you and your lateral brain. LOL lord, i hope you're wrong about harry. not only is he picking up ol' voldy's bad habits (not that the guy has any good ones), but he's also gonna be pretty damn torn-up about sirius (as are we all!) and the next two books are really... i dunno how i can deal with this. where has my precious fantasy world gone? when i was 13 and first started the books, they were so... *delightful* i guess is the appropriate word. whimsical. sure, they were a bit scary, but nothing i couldn't handle, LOL. but things keep on getting worse and worse. i'm getting a knot in my tum now. LOL BIG FISH IS OUT! my friends and i are going to see it friday. :) i keep pretending i'm indecisive about it so kurt won't go with us; he complains more than anybody i know, and worst, when he complains he acts as if he has no gross or bad habits of his own, and lemme tell ya - this guy must've slept through health class because his hygiene habits make my insides churn.

"Big Fish" is a Tim Burton film? baby, i'm there! tim burton is my all-time FAVOURITE director. even if you don't know something is directed or produced by tim, you can *tell* because he has this... personal touch. you know what i mean. i can't even put my finger on it. there's just sort of a... link. i just noticed that the dinosaurs edward scissorhands designed are the same dinosaurs used in "pee-wee's big adventure" - only in pee-wee, they weren't flora. :) wow, i'm in the mood to watch "Vincent Malloy" now! :) i have it on tape somewhere because miraculously this obscure short was shown on sci-fi once about two years ago. i wonder what i did with it?
it was probably an accident, because david thewlis is far from pudgy, and if he's doing lupin, we can expect him to be ragged-looking. i can't wait to see it! i'm so excited. i'm disappointed though, because i'm used to getting my potter movies in november, and this year i won't. :( LOL there's something about frigid weather and snow that makes fantasy movies more realistic. i'm the same way about LOTR. i'd be profoundly disappointed if it came out in may or june. they had to have scheduled the movies for fall and winter deliberately because there's no way you can get that sort of atmosphere in 90 degree weather.
maybe it's just me. LOL
wow. i want some Copic markers.
gotta go. later!

i'm sorry. :( what's interesting is, i just spent about an hour and a half discussing LOTR history/philosophy/religion comparison with a good friend (in his 40s, genius, man should teach college - what's even cooler about all this is, he never went! LOL) and he brought up the lack of sauron (or was it saruman?)'s scenes. it is disappointing, but maybe they'll be on the DVD. what do lupin and black look like? ooooh, i hope they look great. i'm not gonna go all "fan girl" whiny about sirius being ugly in this though - 12 years in prison isn't exactly good for the complexion. :p i understand that. but remus... how does he look? how's mah baby look? :p gaaaaaaiiiiiman. i love neil gaiman. i guess, though, if you read my journal, you know that. :) i've actually never finished the book "neverwhere", and i've never seen the tv show, but i will someday - to both. have you read "good omens"? it's one of my favourites by him. "american gods" is my favourite of his works overall, though. but i don't think now is a very good time for you to read it. the disappearances are... well. you'll have to see for yourself. it has a very labrynthine plot. but maybe that's just me - maybe it can be broken down and simplified. i dunno. i hope your mum cheers up. again, good luck. and i send lots of love and good vibes your way.

yeah, kraven was definitely overdone. the guy sounded like someone was poking him in the back with a spear to make him say his lines, and that face he kept making! drove me up the wall, lemme tell ya. i like the blonde chick. wossername. LOL she was so cute, and she was so... what's the word? childish. especially the scene where she freaked when michael woke up, and wound up on the ceiling. LOL
even before the blood appeared on viktor's head i knew she'd cut him, and when the blood appeared, i knew it was going to slide right off, and i er... closed my eyes. LOL
viktor looked JUST LIKE a substitute teacher i know named mr. burns. mr. burns thinks my friend mandy is a boy. such is the price of beautiful androgyny. LOL in french II he called her "he" half the class and then "it" the rest of the period, because rachelle said, "but mandy's a GIRL." i think we fucked with his head a bit. LOL
i'm so psyched about the third movie. i love sirius and remus, they're my 2 favourite characters (as you know, LOL). my best friend and i (she's padfoot, i'm moony) are getting tattoos on her 18th birthday in april - a dog paw and a wolf paw. or a paw for her and a moon for me. we're not sure yet, but i'd rather have a dog paw. *drools* Underworld. That preview looked really good. I think I may see it opening night. Who are you rooting for, the vampires or the werewolves? Anyways, here's something you can rant or rave about. They're making a live-action dragon ball z movie... and arnold swartzenegger is in it. I don't think it matters if you like it or not when it comes to mr 'i'm going to be governer of california'.

i agree with you about trainspotting. and you could hardly understand what they were saying. maybe the plot came together at the end (i turned it off) but it seemed to be rather aimless. however, i did like the beach (mostly because of the end and the "paralell universe" thing). no zombie carnage? that upsets me. did you see house of a thousand corpses? that seemed like it would be gory...but it was actually just the stupidest thing i've ever wasted money on.

wow a lot of your predictions are really good. i thought mrs. figg was going to be the d.a.d.a. teacher as well, how wrong we were. the thing you said about fudge being a deth eater makes a lot of sense. i've always wondered how pettigrew who was such a talentless thing could have killed 13 people with a single curse, and cornelius fudge seems like a good explanation. however, dumbledore seems to have faith that although sometimes idiotic, fudge is not in cahorts with the dark lord...and what dumbledore says has never been wrong in the past. my friend and i were speculating as to what happens in the final two books. we both agree that dumbledore will die in an effort to save harry. the "second war" is coming, and we're sure that there is going to be some sort of major battle (probably in the 7th book) with death eaters against the order of the phoenix, and voldemort vs. harry. most of the order will die, but harry will eventually defeat voldemort because of yet another oh-so-convienently rare happening (harry's skin causing voldemort pain, the sword coming out of the hat, priori incantatem). i think lupin will die, and probably arthur weasley. tonks may survive, but only because of some sort of fluke. ron will die. neville will die, but with his death he will in some way weaken voldemort, allowing harry to finally vanquish him. i also think that the D.A. will continue, and that perhaps they will begin to learn the unforgivable curses. neville and harry will kill bellatrix lestrange together. also percy weasley will come back and do something good to healp the order...maybe. i think that a close friend of harry's may go to the dark side. i also thought that the thing about harry's mother being in slytherin house was a good idea because you never really hear what house she was in, and it might be good to give harry a bit of a dark past. of course there are going to be countless other random links established between harry and vold. oh yeah, and we think that when he kills voldemort that his scar disappears. rowling said the last word of the final book will be "scar". oh god. i am really really sad. w/b

yay! another obsessive harry potter person. everyone says we'll be hearing from sirius again and i completely agree. i think that maybe there will be some sort of person who has a gift (kind of like tonks does with the morphigamus) to talk to the dead, and that this will allow harry some breif contact with him. i also got really depressed when he found the mirror, and when he wanted to go through umbridge's fire the first time i got some made because he didn't open the package. i know he didn't want to be responsible for sirius's capture...but he could have atleast looked at what sirius had given him and see if it was a better option than the fire. also the snape thing angered me, even though it took me a few seconds to remember that snape was in the order, because he can (at times) be such a slimy git. i liked learning about snape's past though, it really made him more three-dimensional. j.k. rowling is really good at making her characters well rounded. personally, the only thing i'm very positive will happen is that neville will continue to become a more integral part of the fight against voldemort, since the whole thing with the prophecy and the fact that it could have also been about neville. also, neville and harry have another thing in common...their families were both destroyed by voldemort, and this could fuel neville's rage, and make him a great help to harry. i think he'll eventually die though. i hope lupin resumes his major role again. he was so important in the 3rd book, yet his part was so small in the fifth. sorry i'm writing so much. if you ever need to talk about harry potter...i'm your girl hehe. xoxo

yeah. padfoot and i agree - it was her idea. and i came up with the schrodinger's cat (or dog, in this case. ^_~) theory - that the books are like the box, and sirius is alive in five of them - until the end - and dead, so he's alive and dead at the same time. ^_^ it's a comfort. have i told you about that already? LOL anyway. we suspect sirius will be back. at least, we hope he will. the way harry acted in dumbledore's office... wow, i can relate to that so well. that feeling of absolute helplessness. it gives me a cold, cold feeling inside, sort of like when dementors are around. it makes me feel like that.
i think i've fallen into a fantasy world and i can't find the ladder back out. LOL
i'm glad.

ugh, professor umbridge is FUCKED UP! she's the sort of teacher you have to have put up with in order to characterize her properly, and we've all had a teacher like her - except, i'm sure ours never punished us like SHE punishes harry. she's twisted, revolting, absolutely OBNOXIOUS! i miss remus!!!
you pay too much attention, LOL! i hadn't noticed the thing about 12, but now that you mention it, i'd say it's got something to do with the Order. i hope hagrid is okay, i'm on chapter 14 and there's not been a single sign of him at all. *sigh*
i know who dies, FYI, but i won't tell you. i will tell you this: you're going to be upset. it's not hagrid, and it's not lupin, and it's not dumbledore, as so many suspected. i haven't gotten that far yet, but when we were reading ours, steph was flipping through the pages and there it was near the back in BIG BOLD LETTERS. and so we know. but i won't say who. :( gotta go!

LOL anyway, it's in that book that he makes that comment about rowling's novels... the exact comment! i must say, it surprised me to see it in the article i posted. LOL oh well, what does he know? hullo again! :) david thewlis, right? it's been so long since i've seen that movie that i wouldn't've recognised him had you not told me! LOL i'm serious too - i was pretty young. i remember a very few scenes: where they (he and dicaprio) were pretending to be sheep in a field, where they fucked - only, at that age, i was only aware of WHAT they were doing, not HOW they were doing it, LOL, and the whole "stab a knife into your hand" scene. maybe i'll rent it... seven days! 3 years ago i expected the book much sooner, but now it's down to it - FINALLY - and what am i feeling? waitwaitwait... *remus lupin*, harry's old man? sorry, that's about as silly as harry fathering mcgonagall's child! (um. eew. LOL) no, it's a fact that james and lily are indeed harry's parents. but there IS a rumour that lupin may be coming back before the series is over (i hope!) and that the DADA teacher this year will be a witch. the thing about arabella figg (the cat lady) is very likely, as she was mentioned by dumbledore. i've also heard that someone dies - someone dear to rowling, and possibly all of us, and i DREAD it might be hagrid. my mum says she'll stop reading if it's hagrid! i can't think of any of the characters i want to die - i'd never given cedric much thought before book 4, and then i was really devastated when he died, but he was a minor character, so i didn't lose my appetite over it or anything. go to www.the-leaky-cauldron.org, they've got info you'll definitely like. ^_^ thanks for the note! later. :) (p.s. sirius + remus 4ever. i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but larry cobb is a prick. he was my store manager in norman, and he had absolutely no loyalty to any of his staff. unless you were female and rubbed your tits on him. my dealings with him after i left the store and went to work for corporate were no better. now, maybe things have changed. it's been a few years since i last encountered him. but even then, while i was in loss prevention, he still seemed like a prick, and i didn't even work with or for him. i have a friend who used to work for "the company" and she swears that he wasn't all that bad. (yes, i said she. see my earlier comments about tits to put this endorsement in the proper perspective.) in the name of fairness you should probably give him a chance, but don't turn your back on him.
that is pretty funny about mike. is he back in school? the last time i talked to him he didn't sound like he was going back, but if i remember right he didn't have too much longer left until graduation. that would be a waste to have spent that much time (and money) on it and then to just stop.
i'll stop writing now. you can thank me later...

Are you sure? I mean, all I've heard are how all these other countries are with us and want the threat eliminated as much as we do. There are agencies in the government that know much more than we civilians could ever know. In this case, how can you listen to the will of the ignorant masses, "peaceniks"? -Well, Mr. Pres., we have all this confirmed intelligence that we're about to be really fucked up, but the people don't want war so do we just let this other country tear into us and sit and take it?- Um, no.

Hi. I should be sleeping, but this kick ass music you're playing has gripped me. :) So, it's...4am and I was just reading your latest entry. Sorry to read about your "traumatic incident" today..um, yesterday. Whatevuh. Anyway, I thought it was - what's a good word? - bold of you to include that in your entry. If your making sense of this, I commend you. ;) You need a link directly to your notes on your main page. = Last thing...you mentioned The Dream is Dead "hopefully not 'reproduced' by Pete Steel like the last one" - Honestly, I've never given a second thought about who produced it, but you pay attention to things like that so, I was just curious why you didn't want Pete reproducing it? Just for that, I'm f'in your Christmas Up! You thought you covered all the bases, but you forgot the carolers. I'm going to talk with the pastor of the church directly across the street from your house, and inform them how much you love christmas cheer and carols, but that you're crippled in a wheel chair so probably won't answer the door, but that you like to hear at least an hour of carols each morning. Hell yeah! Shove that down your pipe and smoke it. Pol

you do have a point. LOL i guess i was so psyched by the battle (i thought about the whole 'chick' aspect of it, but then i just played it off as an era difference, but you know... this is MIDDLE-EARTH, dude! so really, it's not fair at all.)that i turned the whole movie into something great, which, yeah, it could definitely have been better (i agree, i was very disappointed in treebeard. i never finished the book, but i DID get to the part where the ents go to war!) and the acting was, at times, *blah*. but you can't *not* love gollum - he was great. he was almost perfect! i like the scenery. where my dad grew up, it actually looks like that in a lot of places, and i love going to the mountains with him so i can *giggle, i'm such a dork* pretend i'm in middle-earth. i imagine that he's a ranger and i'm a hobbit... but we haven't got much of a quest, except finding a roadside diner that sells swiss-mushroom melts. LOL anyhoo - yeah, i agree with you for the most part, and i do agree that it was a bit messily thrown-together, but on a whole, i'd say i liked it a lot.

Everything you said about the plot of Star Trek Nemesis is true. I still enjoyed it, I can't help that - I'm such a fan of TNG. I definitely saw The Wrath of Khan similarities - couldn't miss those! So obvious. As soon as Data left Troi in command, I knew this was going to be "Spock's death" all over again. And it did seem like the actors forgot how to be the crew. The only one that seemed "right" was Geordi in my opinion. Is it just me or does it seem that Riker (well, Frakes) is aging more quickly than the rest? [Loved the Reman outfits! Dude's silhouette reminded me of Billy Corgan in "Adore"] One more thing - not related to Nemesis - remember the episode "Conspiracy" from, I think, the second season? Where the "mother alien" or whatever sent out a beacon? That story was never finished, unless I missed something along the way.

Chris is trying to get me into them. He's loved them for years. Really cool shit. It's like the "side band" of Neurosis. You know how Neurosis has "Through Silver In Blood", this particular Tribes of Neurot CD is "Silver Blood Transmission". A n y w a y, I'm babbling and you need a guestbook. :P Later! Hello! Thank you for leaving me a note. Yes..Grandpa and I were close. I lived with them for two years before I moved to Florida and in that time I really got to know him. I'm grateful for that because I never made the time when I was younger. He had been sick for a while so we had some time to prepare..but even still..I'm in shock.
I hate funerals too. My uncle was in charge of it and he picked some god awful religious crap. My grandfather wasn't even religious! And the priest...oh don't even get me started. I feel the same way..the damn sermon. I was so aggravated the whole time. It's even worse when the priest has a new york accent. It was awful..the sad thing is I'm not the only one that thought so. =P
Thank you again for caring sweetie!

I'm a bit depressed at the moment, so this will be short. I'll definatly check out that comic next time I'm in there. I doubt it will be any time soon, though. Yes, Rogue and Wolverine, definatly. I'm not the only one [http://www.wolverineandrogue.com was an amazing site... seems to be dead now :(]. I didn't like comic-Rogue very much either, but loved her in the movie... she's a lot like me. I'm so sorry about your loss. I was so touched by your entry. You gave Sam a good home and you were there for him until the end. He will be missed and in your heart forever. If you had not taken him in, his like would have been unnoticed, but he had someone kind and wonderful to love, who loved him in return. I thank you for sharing this with me. I'm scared. I am taking my Moo to the vet tomorrow. She has a lump where her navel is. I always just assumed it was from when she was spayed, but now I'm reading stuff and they say it can be anything from a hernia to cancer. Of course, I always prepare for the worst, so I'm a wreck right now. I looked at that site and strangely, I felt some comfort. I don't know what I'd do if I lost her. I've only had her 6 months and I can't imagine my life without her...it's amazing how pets have such an impact on our lives, we can only hope that they feel the same way about us.

Wow, your musical taste really does match mine then.. I usually encounter people who are either really into G/I or people really into Punk. It’s wonderful to know that there are people out there who like both. By noize I actually meant power noize. Like PAL, Hypnoskull, Converter, Winterkalte, feindflug (which I guess is more industrial but yeah)

panzer-kitty : |

rac stands for ‘rock against communism,’ but like oi it’s really just another offshoot of punk. The main difference is what the lyrics are about.. anyway you seem to be more into the goth/industrial stuff which rac definitely is not. Do you listen to noize?

No! Duh! I'm blind. That straight wall that leads up to the sparkly "pizza slice"...it's scalable. When you see a wall that has small horizontal ridges like that, you can scale it. But scaling walls is an earned ability. Hopefully that's the ability you earn when you kill Zephon. I don't know. I'm at Zephon's stronghold now. - As I sit here, I can't remember if the clan symbols are labeled in the little booklet (so you'll know who's stronghold you're at by looking at the flags/banners outside), but I made a page of them. http://www.geocities.com/obsidian_raen/Clan_symbols.html - Later.

I missed the first 40 minutes of your show because I didn't realize it was Tuesday. :S But I was tuned-in/logged-on/whatever all the rest of the time! It was cool to hear that Slymenstra is back with GWAR. That's cool. I've never seen GWAR live. Chris has. Hell, he smoked pot with them all (Slymenstra too) before a show in Austin TX and, of course, got all their autographs and shit. By the way, you are really cool on the air. :) You're just the way I'd imagined you'd be. * Anyway...I got a casketcrew.com newsletter that said that TON wouldn't be touring this Fall "because they're working on the new album". I rather took this to mean that they were once again going to put off the release date. I dunno, I'll have to see what I can find out about that. * On Soul Reaver, I've only gotten as far as Kain breaking the sword on me (shame on me), so I'm not very far at all. I'll see if I can find the part you're talking about. I played Blood Omen and Blood Omen 2 in record time, but I swear..every time I sit down to play Soul Reaver SOMETHING has to happen so I have to stop playing. Seriously! But yeah, I'm also the type who tries to take my time and find all the goodies through the game. :) Oh, and I agree about THE CONTROLS BEING HARD TO MASTER! It's fucking ridiculous sometimes. Pain in da ass! But I'm determined, by God! :)

Did you just add me to your favs? Wow, thanks, man. :) I still read you. Writing seems to come so easily for you. I've laughed so hard at some of the shit you write. Laughing with you, not at you...well maybe at you a little. ;) It's all in the way you tell it. You get started and my brain just settles onto the same wavelength. --Oh, and I do believe Bowie is officially old now.

Well I applaud you! Death to Darth Gomez! :D Damn, you put up with a lot! Sanity would be a thing of the past. * I don't actually have "Heathen" yet, but I've downloaded over half the songs and, honestly, I'm not too impressed with them. It's good music, but I don't know - it's just not hitting that magical note with me. Of course, I'll still buy it; I couldn't leave my collection incomplete. :) Well, there's still a shitload of bootlegs I don't have, but oh well. "Heathen" will grow on me, I'm sure. * OK, gotta check out ISTOBA. May the force be with you! Later!

I took the Star Wars survey you mentioned. I actually tried to flash, flag and stop a cop driving by, to see if he could just keep an eye out for my bag or to let him know other peoples vehicles might be broken into, but the cop didn't stop.
Cheers

Jason. You have the most interesting diary I have read (yet). I enjoy how you use a variety of words, and clearly, yet descriptivly describe what you intend to say. You are crescent fresh. I love you. I'm a happier person around you.
So,,, I found you and earlier called Hayley, left a message inviting her to #'s with us tommorrow (friday). That plan is for us to - not have 'fun' - but rather, become one with fun. We're expanding our horizons of social contact.
You know, many people go to clubs to meet other people, but they usually bring a friend or someone they know to keep them safe from their fears which they are - at the same time - trying to confront and come over. Yet I don't imagine too many people meeting each other at these 'clubs'. I find all of it quite amusing, feeling the same fears myself.
I will leave notes here for you when possible.
... and God said to Jason "go forth and hither unto thou doest that which I asketh of thy. I have delivered unto you this day a path, wherefore thou shalt find eternal peace within the bosom of a soft desireable woman." Amen
