I really wish things would get better for you-both family wise and school wise. *Gives you a hug*
from ghostiness :
Thanks for the note. *hugs* I'ma gonna be alright, I just got some stuff to work through. I know that. It's just how I've been acting lately that's scary. It's not like I WANT to estrange myself from everyone arond me. Well, sometimes I do, but not by being a grouch. Anyway. I gotta pack, because I'm going to go meet one of your least favorite characters in, like, 12 hours. *hugs* Thanks for the support, babe. I know I can count on you.
from augustdreams :
The lovely ghostiness is a fan of yours which means you rock. And I love the title of your diary. So. Could I have the password? Please? :)
from ghostiness :
*snickers and points at your profile* I hope the spirit of Mr. Wilde didn't roll over in his fabulous grave.
from ghostiness :
*grin* Yeah, boys are fun like that. Dorian Gay, indeed. Oscar Wilde is my dead gay author boyfriend! I really loved his sick sense of humor in that book. If they think that's gay, they should read some Anne Rice... anyway. Basil/Dorian 4eva!!! Eep. Sorry. Fangirl moment. Won't happen again, promise. :-X *hugs*
from darkwaltz :
Happy 18th Birthday!!!
from ghostiness :
Aww.... *blushes* Lately I've been so psyched that you might be coming down to Texas, that I've been trying to find like, anyone and everyone, to tell about it. I love you too! I hope things work out well for you, and heh. I'm kinda glad I don't have any friends like the relative-caller.
from ghostiness :
Heh. That's kind of what I'm wanting too, but the campus is definitely a nice place to be, and I think they would probably have enough good facilities to make your education there worthwhile. A&M recently added a whole department on studying bugs in dead corpses... in case that ever interests you... heh.
from ghostiness :
Hee! I've been to the A&M campus down in... *mumbles* wherever it is (it's so sad that I don't even know) and it was really an impressive place. It's definitely in my list of considerations. We should party *wink*
from ghostiness :
You know what, I really do love that slogan. I should run. Wanna be VP? You can be my John Edwards. *giggle* I love rock operas.
from ghostiness :
Yay for naps! :)
from ghostiness :
My email emptied itself (without my telling it to) and so I need my password to get back in! Please? Don't think I just haven't been reading. I tried, but the thing has just...poofed. Grr... hate technology sometimes.
from darkwaltz :
You haven't posted for a while...I hope everything's ok for you right now.
from expiriments :
I saw your banner and thought I would leave a note. I can see Im not the only one that thinks that way! lol. Nice layout as well.
from ghostiness :
If it's any consolation, I hate the South too. I just hope I'm not part of the group you hate ;)
from hamiltonian :
*great journal* and love your banner!
from ghostiness :
Love you, girl. You'll be okay. *hugs* I'm praying for your grandmother, and I hope things even out with your school life. You may not believe what I do, but I still see no harm in offering up a prayer, y'know? *hugs again*
from warcrygirl :
Must be going around, I am absolutely uninspired and am now forced to assault my readers with pictures. Ugly pictures. Mooo.
from pungo67 :
Thanks for the nice things that you said about me and my diary page. I was wondering if anyone would ever find me! Hope that things are going well for you! Cheers!
from elscorcho96 :
Forgot to give you my password and stuff after locking, sorry...anyways the username is tile and the password is grout, no caps or anything and hopefully easy to remember.
from turbogeek :
woo hoo!! yay. a quentin tarantino fan puts me on their buddy list. :) thanks so much. you're cool.
from warcrygirl :
Some make-up tips for this time of year: Instead of foundation you can wear tinted moisturizer and/or tinted sunscreen (clinique makes a nice one). I don't usually recommend this for flash photos but if your skin is good you can get away with it. Be sure to use LOOSE powder, and apply it with a brush. This will give you a nice finish without feeling heavy. Hell, if you have enough time go to the clinique counter and get a free makeover. waterproof mascara and eyeliner are also the way to go, it lasts all day. Anyway, it sounds like you're just down the road from me in NC, so I know the heat you're talking about. Have fun!
from theshrike :
EGADS! You're the second person on my buddy list to take that god-awful survey! You deserve a cookie, or maybe a bottle of asprin oO;;
from ghostiness :
Aw, thanks. *hugs back* I like that too about me and you, and some of my other friends. I'm able to listen to other viewpoints without hating you. Well, maybe. Just kidding ;). The Ohio Senators thing just... boiled me up, grrrr... but anyway. Thanks for the hug and the not hating of me too. Glad I can voice my opinion, as can you, without being smacked. :)
from ghostiness :
Yeah, me again, only not in the guestbook. I just wanted to say that as far as the abortion views go, at least in my mind (and you know mine isn't an extremely closed one), I am against abortion. I'm not going to call it "Pro-Life!" because I don't want to say pro-choicers are also "Pro-DEATH..." Anyway. I think that if someone is dumb enough to have sex without any manner of birth control, or to just sleep with someone they know they won't be able to keep around for long... it just doesn't make sense that the consequences of that action should just be killed off, so they can go and most likely do it again. In cases where there is "Not a good life" available for a child, or if it would be sick, or if it would kill the mother...all those circumstances... I guess I understand? But if it's just to not take responsibility for actions that have created another life, I can't stand by it. And the death penalty? That IS the consequence to what criminals have done. For the most part, they didn't care when they did the crime, so they won't care if we just give them life in prison to be another man or woman's butt-monkey. Also with the shirking of consequences. Just my two (possibly 4) cents.
from nocontrol :
hey. I miss ya! www.xanga.com/aikenformayeralways/ That's where I am!
from under-yuki :
Hello there! I just figured I would leave a note, randomly really, to say I agree with you very much on both the Lord of the Rings rejoicing and the Passion of the Christ crying. I have very personalized views of Christ, and I found it to be painfully moving. I very much enjoy your writing!
from dazzlinglife :
best wishes, love. i wish that i could make that hole in your life be filled. it's so hard to miss someone. it hurts. we can talk. bitch to me. please. tata, -emma
from london-times :
Hey! I locked my diary and am handing out the password to people who list my diary as a favorite, sooo, that includes you! The username is 'person' and the password is 'letmein.' Aren't I SO creative? Lol.
from ghostiness :
Heh. Cool name, lessee... the Dark Avengers would be a nice throwback to the original title Cordy gave Angel. And if you won't say "Blow up the WB" I will. Blow up the WB! Anyway... yeah, I'm trying to be funny about it, because I don't really want to face it. Yeah, just a TV show, but still. Buffy-verse. Sigh. And the WB sucks. Smallville and Charmed get to continue, but Angel gets the kaput on its fifth season, much like... well, some other show *wink*. May the network execs burn in hell.
from elscorcho96 :
To quote one of my ::cough:: favorite lines from the RotK book, your entry on Orlipoo was worthy of being "praised with great praise". I think Orlando Bloom is like the real-life equivalent of Zoolander, one great pose, stupid, man-pretty. He'll be replaced soon enough (remember the Leonardo DiCaprio craze of '98?)
from ghostiness :
Arrrrrgh. Here, have two notes. From the Guestbook which would not work: "I love you. No really, I do. I am so tired of the Bloom craze. I thought he was attractive as Legolas, but only then, but as I watched interviews with others who mentioned him, his personality is atrocious. He loves himself enough for both of us. Anywho, if you get to have Billy Boyd (which I really really am upset about) can I have Dominic? I looooove Pippin and Merry. Huzzah! (And I hate Russel Crowe...and Vin Diesel... and, okay, I'll just shut up now. my point is made, which is: you rule)"
from ghostiness :
Oh, one more thing because SignMyGuestbook is Satan: Foxtrot is the coolest comic strip ever. I love Zits, but Foxtrot takes the cake.
from elscorcho96 :
I know what you mean about school, it just gets so old being around the same stupid people five days a week. But, you can always look on the bright side and remember that the school year is almost over in a way. I'm not making things better am I? Agh. Well, I hope you feel better soon.
from chickreviews :
Your review is up at Chick Reviews! Thanks for your patience and for requesting!

Sigh. You will be greatly missed, I always look forward to reading your diary everyday. Later days, then.
from faithspoison :
I feel the lurve. :) [Incidentally, I'm also a Bush-hater myself - or as I like to say it, Bush-whacker.] Hrm, a Lord of the Rings musical dream... can't say I've ever had that. Glad to see you're feeling better.
from dazzlinglife :
hey, love. i wish you courage and good faith. god, i hate george w. let's hate him together, shall we? i know it's hard, and i wish you the best. i'm here for you! tata, -emma
from faithspoison :
Hey! I've been erm. stalking your diary for a while now, and I wish I could write words full of inspiration and hope for you. Right now I can do nothing but say that I feel your pain, even if I don't experience it just yet. To saying something I always say: Chin up, it will get better. Good luck.
from dazzlinglife :
dear, diarying should not be a chore? some suggestions: entries don't have to curtail (i'm sure i'm using that wrong) every mediocre event in your life. some things are just not noteworthy. i suffer from this as well. entries don't have to be insanely long either. maybe more self-definition or your own ideas, loves, and the why behind things. tata, -emma
from guttermind :
Ta v. much for your review :) I do hope I know a little something about politics and that everyone else does as well. It's quite sad to hear people my age not giving a shit about how they are being governed. And you're right, I should write more. But I'm a bit of a slacker when it comes to scratching beneath the surface. One day, though...
from onedarkrevue :
Thanks for letting me know about the locked diary. For now I just gave you a different diary until I can get the username and password for beaded-krash. Sorry about that. - Alex

from onceknownas :
This won't necessarily cure you, but if you're having trouble with continual hacking, try boiling a pot of water, taking it off the burner, then putting a towel over your head and and the pot - keeping your face a good foot or more away from the water, natch. Just hang out under there for a while and breath the steamy goodness. Put an herbal teabag in it if you want to make it *exciting*. Sounds retarded, but it sometimes helps. Leprosy or smallpox I can't help you with, but hey, worst cas scenario, you could always end up being a zombie - how cool is that? Feel better soon - or start writing a good zombie script before your fingers start dropping off...

Hi! Thanks for joining my (Captain) Jack Sparrow diaryring, mate! :-D

That was a hilarious entry. I immensely enjoyed the mental image of sailing down the highway in a raft wearing a paper hat, too. Thanks for the laugh on a crappy day!

I just happened upon your diary, and it's a great one, with a cool layout. Loved your review of "Pirates of the Caribbean." Any Johnny Depp fan is a friend of mine. Lol. Great work. :)
from onceknownas :
I know what you mean - it's been in the 100's here for the last week and I am soooo wanting to turn the dial down on it already. Gawd. Gack. Argh.... ~D~
from onceknownas :
1) You're not a dumbass. Tech drek happens to everyone. 2) Your new template is *gorgeous* (drool). Where was that photograph taken? 3)the review was spot-on - your diary kicks some serious butt, and not just because it's nice to look at. Rock on with your bad-ass self. Woot! ~D~
from louis-du-lac :
Great going on the review! I think that all of us that read would agree and I'm not just saying that because I'm your friend. The first perfect score-You deserved it! Now I'm off to see if I can find some Pirates of the Carribean pictures to drool over until you get back on.(Hopefully)
from onceknownas :
Hum. I agree with many of your assessments of the film (and BTW, if you like the music, much of it was Godspeed You Black Emporer - and yes, they are infuckingcredible - I own all their albumns plus the side project stuff...), but I would have to disagree about the ending and the lack of actual mass zombiage. I think the point of the film was to dwell more on the reactions of the people still left standing, and less on the shambling corpses, and I liked it better for that. And all the silliness in the manor I think was supposed to be showing how little humanity supposed humans sometimes show each other. I mean think about it - these are the last surviving humans, and yet they don't have enough respect for that to be respectful to each other? The General promises his men women, and is willing to divvie up a teenage virgin amongst them? I'd take a zombie over one of these bastards. Feh. But that's just me. On another note, if you like that empty feeling in the beginning, it actually borrowed a lot from a 70's movie, "Omega Man" (with that gun-loving son of a gun, Charlton Heston, yeah baby). It's a really cheesy movie based on what was actually a very good story by Richard Matheson (I Am Legend) about the last man left after yeah, you guessed it a virus has killed nearly everyone else off except instead of shambling corpses, you have bitchy vampires. The film is drekky for the most part, but it has some of that same opening feel of desolation thats pretty cool. And Id looooove to spoil the ending because well, because its wonderfully horrible and I love it but just in case you ever are bored enough to find it in a video store, I wont. But it makes sitting through the rest of it nearly worthwhile. Hell, skip the movie and read the book. Arrgghh.
from onceknownas :
You won't get this until you actually read it, but it's not really about a seagull, even though the seagul is the main character. It's about anyone's ability to transcend limitations. And it's also about a seagull. Okay, fine. It's still a good book - and if you don't like it, it's also a mega-short book. Trust me. You'll survive. I *promise*. Oh, and your old pages won't update automatically to your new template - if you want them all unified, you have to go to each one individually in the edit/delete area and update them, by hand, one by one. I don't mean you actually have to change the template for each one, but you have to open each one individually in the edit/delete area, and click "update" for each one. You don't even have to change anything, but doing this should change each entry to your new look. It's what I had to do, anyway, when I added the ring and changed some of the tags at at the bottom of my master template. It's a pain in the ass, but if you're OCD, it's just what you do. 'Nuff said. Peace out. :)
from onceknownas :
a) I think your guestbook link is broken, b) I hope you get over whatever you seem to be catching (ugh) c) Jonathon Livingston Seagull is a breeze to read - it's mostly photographs - you'll get through it in less than an hour I predict d) I think you're an empath, kiddo, which is why you're so sensitive to other folk's weirdness - tip from another emotional lintbrush - start learning now to find ways not to take other people's weirdness personally, even though you pick up on it. It's usually not going to be about you at all, even though it may *feel* like it. Feelings are always valid, but they are *not* always indicative of *reality*. Just something to keep in mind... Cheers, ~D~

i've always wondered about why the old layout wont go away either for my diary. it is very very annoying.

You're right. Gollum's repeated use of the word "fuck" was probably the funniest thing I'd seen. Ever. I actually soiled myself. And you're also right about my diary being the greatest. Haha! Cool.
