Okay, cool! ::: Ever since I can remember I have enjoyed the sight and the taste of blood. Most kids have no problem with sucking on their own blood when they sustain an injury, however today's society teaches us early that this is frowned upon... I never really learned that lesson. I often drink the blood of mine, but also, I seem to have the urge to drink the blood of others. Especially females, pale females with their red blood on their white skin... calling me. ::: spelling? eh. I'll fix all the spelling before I add it as an entry.

Hmmmmm...fantasy novels. Have you by any chance heard of a series called A Game of Thrones by George RR Martin. These, in my not humble opinion, rock the free world. Yes you could use them to beat whales to death but they're some of the best fantasy I've read in ages! They're huge sprawling political epics, and I love them massively. I'm also hugely fond of Robin Hobb. Have you crossed her path?

I have the tackiest tarot cards in the world - they're a fantasy dragon set. Actually I have two sets, one unspecified that I inherited from a mad auntie that are so severe and resonant that I keep them in a rosewood box all muffled up in black silk. And the dragons that I treat really badly and stuff in my pocket wound up with elastic bands and so forth ... I think I like the informality of them the best.

Oh yeah, I come down to SB at least twice a month for therapy, if not more (because all my doctors are still down there). I usually hang out at one of the bookstores there because we don't have any decent ones like Chaucer's up here. They're SUPPOSED to build a Borders, but the city has been holding that up for a good two years now, bickering with the developers over water rights. I'd much prefer a nice INDEPENDENT bookstore, but this place is so lacking in -- well, everything -- I'll take what I can get. -cat

Yeah, Toronto has a rockin' scene. It's not exactly goth though. Very CG. Kinda dense with the Gravers. I like it though. I approve. I'm not really one to fit in with lucretias. Bauhaus doesn't float my boat. Gimme the grinding BPM! Gimme the factory-gone-haywire! But even the intensity I crave is hard to find here. Once in a blue moon, something good comes along though.
