*hugs* I know this is going to sound harsh... but listen. Being selfish... is human... Point... look at your entry. It's me me me... Selfish no? I agree that people need to open their eyes a bit more and see those around them. But hunny, maybe Christina needs YOUR support with this Ryan situation? I can't comment on the goodness or badness of the guy, cuz I haven't met him. But she obviously sees SOMETHING in him. and you trust her judgement don't you? Now I'm not saying you have to like him. And if he is a bad seed, I'm not saying you should just back out. No no no... If he's a controlling bastard or abusing her in anyway, you get her out of that situation. If he's none of these and you still loathe him with a firey passion, the best you can do is tell her: "Look I don't like the guy, but I don't have to, you do. And if you do that's fine... just keep the Ryan talk to a minimum, if you can. If you need my advise or want to hear my thoughts about any situation involving Ryan, it comes with the warning or reminder that I don't like him. My advise may be biased." Why don't you just try thinking of all the positive memories instead. I used to be in the same situation. For two years I would rather die than to leave my room. Then one day I just couldn't stand to let people hurt me any longer. By not living my life, it felt to me like giving them even more pleasure. Now, I just tend to think about something that makes me lucky, fortunate or someone that takes away the negativity. It may sound difficult or even stupid, but my mom - she a physiologist- mentioned it in a similar case, I guess you could say and it worked for me. I just hate to see this happen to you. Here's some encouragement: I hope you get everything situated so you can begin to feel less stressed. I've been there too. I do believe we all have. It sucks, but that's this life cycle for ya. Glad to know that you and your sweetie are ok. Truthfully - I was a bit worried for a sec there. I think it's the greatest feeling in the world when you are in love and have someone who can honestly say "I love you too." I'm happy for you...
