all good things have endings
from mangofarmer :
Alas. You're one of my favorite d-landers, so I will miss you. But then you're more than welcome to the link to the journal I mainly use nowadays. ;)
from mangofarmer :
It's time for me to say Happy Guy Fawkes Day again!
from mangofarmer :
Happy Graduation! :)
from adept :
alas, perhaps it is just that all things dry up eventually...nevertheless, as I contact so does output diminish. Well, it's a good reason at least. Happiness has robbed us of you. There is no more deserving persuit.
from mangofarmer :
Ewwww, Their Eyes Were Watching God. Ridiculous book. But yay Wuthering Heights! I reread that one last year I think. This year it was Jane Eyre's turn. :) Happy New Year!
from mangofarmer :
I'm so sorry about your cats. :( But applying for grad schools is a good thing. Grad school is fun.
from mangofarmer :
Happy Guy Fawkes Day!
from adept :
I don't know, it seems as though sorrow makes for more posts. This only allows for more presense, never for more happiness.
from adept :
You know, I felt the same desperation on Wenesday...how strange. Must have been the weather.
from mangofarmer :
Pools? Is that what you're up to these days? I mean, sure, I'm sure it beats your friendly neighborhood Eckerd, but hmmm.
from sychosonya :
Is your name Katy?
from mangofarmer :
Feel. I can't feel my arms. Okay I'm leaving now.
from marebear78 :
just discovered your diary -- great stuff! And thanks for the tip on Huckabees. Think I'll catch it this weekend.
from mangofarmer :
You wanted the Yankees to win because in the outside chance that the Red Sox win the World Series *crosses self repeatedly*, the apocalypse will not be far away. Yep.
from mangofarmer :
In regards to your recent survey-taking, ohmygod, yes, I did eat red meat on a Friday. I eat meat (or at least meat-flavored ramen) most every Friday. I will never drive, and I'm going to Detroit for eternity. Gosh, I'd go say a Hail Mary or something, but I don't think I'd remember the words. Hehe! I really should lay off the caffeine after 9 or so. :)
from mangofarmer :
See? Sometimes it's fun to pull a random movie out of one's ass for no reason. :) Gotta love the Robert Sean Leonard.
from mangofarmer :
Home. Bleh. I don't want to go back to that hellhole.
from adept :
remember, if ever you have a rotten week: Somewhere out there, a drunken forensics student exists who is now poor and didn't do any good anyway. And he feels for you, trust me.
from mangofarmer :
Yay for Wuthering Heights! Also, yay for MacGuyver. Yay.
from mangofarmer :
Ah. I should have taken chem instead of bio my freshman year of college. No one ever told me you get to light *yourself* on fire! Awesome. :)
from adept :
Sorry my last messages seem to be... I have no adjectives to describe what they seem to be. Anyway, Boondock Saints and Red Dwarf? Who is this girl? Impecible taste. Just impecible. (very rare in the female...)
from adept :
Let me see if I can clarify a little bit. Your diary intrigues me, but I don't wish to disturb it in any way. It's kind of like anthropology. Whenever I contact other diaries, I seem to have an adverse effect on them. Your train of thought is profoundly interesting, and I don't wish to disturb it.
from adept :
I hate to do this I really do You're mind is so much like one of my characters that I can't help but be facinated by your diary. Digging around in your mind is very entertaining, but also eerie. There. That's all I have to say. Sorry to interrupt your life and all.
from mangofarmer :
Ewww, the honors program? Really? The major thing that turned me off of that at Bumblefuck was the whole "writing a thesis" thing. Yeah. Mangofarmer doesn't do that. But then again, you seem to enjoy writing. So the point is, don't listen to my stupid rambling anyway. :)
from mangofarmer :
You are insane. Just thought that fact bears repeating. ;) Next thing you know, you'll be taking ethnomusicology, you, um, insane person, you. Yup.
from mangofarmer :
I kind of like the Magnificat. But then again, I've never had the misfortune of actually having to play a Bach piece in orchestra... the flute sonatas are bad enough.
from darkmaiden :
thanks for the note! It's good to see a fellow Uki around!I look forward to peeking inside your diary - there's something very wrong about that isn't there?! lol x
from melomane :
I also listen to Taco's "Puttin on the Ritz." Thanks for your comment in my guestbook!
from paengz666 :
Hey Yo! Have Fun ^^
from mangofarmer :
Hehe. Don't mind that punkathena girl- she only ever got to go to the Fair once in her life, poor kid. She never had the misfortune of being forced to march in the damn parades. ;)
from mangofarmer :
Drink several cups of chocolate milk for me, wouldja? And I want a detailed description of the butter sculpture. ;)
from mangofarmer :
Tin flute, eh? I haven't picked up my fife in a while. I play a mean Yankee Doodle on that thing. ;)
from mangofarmer :
:)
from mangofarmer :
Guestbook/note tag! Woohoo! We have good taste in eggs! That sounds really weird! I like exclamation points!
from mangofarmer :
Woohoo! I'm on your favorites list now. Yay! I feel special and stuff.
from kentraine :
Don't forget the note on masturbation in "40 Days and 40 Nights"... he got bored enough to drag out old model cars he hadn't worked on in years. ;)
from mangofarmer :
By the way, yes, you get a lot of bonus points for your CD collection. :)
from kentraine :
Where the hell do you live that it's still cold? Here in Kansas it's gotten up in the nineties already.
from bluephonic :
Hey, the firebird suite! (Lucky bastard...) Anyway, thanks. =) Neil Gaiman is mostly known for his comics (the Sandman series, primarily), and he's written some good ModernDarkFantasy books as well (Neverwhere and American Gods).
from sexychick809 :

from sexychick809 :

Hi you welcome for entering you as a favorite but i dont know if i have a diary yet cause i'm new at this i dont really know how to anyway my password is sexytype alright so nice talking to u.!!!
from mangofarmer :
Oh. By the way, I started "Wuthering Heights" again this morning. Let's see, I believe this will be my 3947599182312th reread. :)
from mangofarmer :
Hehehe. I've had "Build me up, buttercup" in my head all day, if that makes you feel any better.
from mangofarmer :
Actually, I was in the mood to throw Mr. Big's "To be with you" (kind of an early 90s oldie but big-hairedly goodie) at a certain, well, someone. ;) That, and I kind of want to throw "Ice, Ice Baby" at my sister because the song annoys her so much. Oh yes.
from mangofarmer :
I need to read "Wuthering Heights" again soon too, because I just saw the movie yesterday (TCM anyone?). It bothers me that every movie version of that book leaves out all or most of the entire second half of the story with Catherine Junior and Linton and Hareton and everyone. I guess it would make for a really long movie, but still. Heathcliff is one deliciously complex character that deserves all kinds of screen time.
from mangofarmer :
Eh, same difference, same farmer of the mangoes, hehe. Thanks for the note. :)
from blackthornh :
Don't worry. I actually enjoyed reading it again. English Lit was my favorite class, followed by history.
from blackthornh :
I just had a flashback of when I had had to read war poetry in English Lit. There were several Wilfred Owen poems in the book. The one you posted was one of them (thought I now I can't remember a single word, I recognized it inmediately). 'Exposure' is my favorite Wilfred Owen one...
from roapearl :

from bejaluna :
Got directed here from the "historical nuts" d'ring. I'm surprised that so few SCAdians have joined...and there are a few here and there. Then again, no one seems to have updated. LOL
