i know it's been awhile and i apologize... but i do think of you and the rest of the dland peeps once in awhile, and hope you're doing well. i'd love to hear from you - [email protected] xo
from sundaygirl :
she may be a little insane, yes. but more likely it's her lack of a filter and her dead serious belief that she is charming and funny and everyone loves her.
from bathtubmary :
HA! that is totally amazing. we'll have to exchange pics. xoxo, d
from ceildah :
thank you :) that's sweet of you to write. Where is your diary at the moment lovely? Are you still writing one here or elsewhere? x
from lonelywife :
you are passworded. i hope everything is okay. if you'd like to share the password, i'd love to keep reading. if not, please take care of yourself. xo
from bathtubmary :
ravenswood zin is my fave, too, esp. the old vine variation. an excellent go-to red. i thought of you last night because i had a really weird, emotional experience while running (i'll expound later) and wondered if that had ever happened to you. xoxo, d
from ladiebug :
hi babydoll! yep, i saw a podiatrist and then did physical therapy for about 2-3 months... he definitely massaged out all the adhesions, but there's still a hard cyst inside my outer ankle. my p.t. (still keep in touch with him since he's an ironman-type guy) says i might need surgery, but my podiatrist just gave me a brace to wear at night because he thinks my bone is rubbing against the cyst. whatever it is, i've been doing all the exercises my p.t. taught me (plus, he taught me better form, which is awesome), but i think i have to suck it up and realize this might take a year to heal up or it will be chronic. so... perhaps a half... i've pretty much decided 70% for it, i guess it's just my pride that's making me skeptical. but in regard to you - what started it? mine were shoes... serves me right for getting a new brand rather than staying with my tried and true's... argh.
from bathtubmary :
i KNOW you can do it. keep your fans posted. xoxo, d
from bathtubmary :
that is incredibly, outrageously awesome! i'm so psyched for you. xoxo, d
from ladiebug :
sorry to hear that you're having a rough time with the running... i was definitely at that place a couple of months ago, and still finding that it's so hard to get back to what i "used" to be! but, if it's not physical and mostly mental, what helped me was running just to run - for the spiritual and emotional aspect of it, with the physical gain as a cool by-product. do you subscribe to runner's world? there's an article in there that focuses on children running, and the little toddlers running were so incredibly cute and, oddly, inspiring!! to run just to run... i may be talking out of my ass, but i hope this helped a bit... good luck with your comeback, sweetie, i know you can do it.
from lonelywife :
my thoughts are with you. i hope things "break" soon.
from idiomatic :
goooooooooooooooooooo
from crestone :
congratulations on your article! you're totally right, it's a major accomplishment and you should be celebrating to no end. i hate it when parentals act so blase about these sorts of things.
from ceildah :
thanks x
from ceildah :
yum! can you possibly send me or post up your muffin receipe? they sound fab. ceildah x
from ladiebug :

from lonelywife :
thank you...thank you. i know i need this.
from robotheart :
the chilaquiles were amazing...such an awesome way to use up stale tortilla chips (or just tortillas if you have them, just cut em up) and leftover takeout salsa...a little oil in the pan, then the chips, then the salsa, cook until the chips have soaked up the liquid, add soyrizo and let cook until heated, then beaten eggwhites until cooked through, (optional shredded cheese) and plated up...with a lime/cilantro garnish, sliced avocado and organic sour cream...yummy! you could even omit the eggs/cheese i bet and use vegan sour cream or not at all, i imagine and it would still be wonderful. the whole chip effect is really plateable.
from ladiebug :
hi love, yeah - i'm trying to put perspective with the b.c. pills, because i really want the stuff to go away. i totally know what you mean about getting back into running gradually and feeling like you're going through water - i use the molasses analogy. :) glad to hear you're getting back into it, though! and, a bunch of my girlfriends are thinking of running the nike marathon (they're doing the half) in s.f.... interested? :) thanks for your love and support with this running stuff... it's always comforting when people relate. xo, naners
from bathtubmary :
why thank you, ma'am. i blush. of course we'll see about the 'well' part once another pair of eyes gets a look at it. it feels good to be doing it, though, i'll tell you what. mwah! d

from robotheart :
our horoscope - Even if your rational mind is telling you one thing and your feelings are telling you something else, there is a solution to your dilemma. Your legendary Libran indecisiveness won't work for you now, so you might as well make up your mind and stick with your decision. You'll be surprised at how others will come through for you to help you make the changes that you desire in your life.
from ladiebug :
uh, i know this is mad late, but CONGRATS on your final time!!! rock. star. exclamation point.

from ladiebug :
there's never any help when it's 'internal', so to speak. when we had the fires in s.d., there was nothing. obviously, it's ten times worse in new orleans, but i think we're often left to fend for ourselves. it's really sad.
from lonelywife :
many *happy* thoughts to you. please talk if you need to. i am such a good listener. and i really relate to your emotions. my e-mail is [email protected]. please share if you need to. i'm always willing to listen and reply. take care of yourself. love and hugs, georgette

from jazzua :
"If we listened to our intellect, we'd never have a love affair. We'd never have a friendship. We'd never go into business, because we'd be cynical. Well, that's nonsense. You've got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down." thats a quote from Ray Bradbury. i don't know you but i like your site so i thought i'd leave you a note.
from lonelywife :
just thinking of you. many thoughts your way. *hugs* xo
from lonelywife :
which ones didn't you enjoy that much? i'm currently reading 'midwives' by chris bohjalian. i'm enjoying it so far. we'll see. heard about any jobs yet? thinking of you.

from ladiebug :

from sidewaysrain :
i'm so ridiculous, I'm sorry, but just checking it wasn't me you were trying to get in touch with - cause I had trouble reaching you once before. narcissism, c'est moi, but i just don't want to be a bad efriend!
from discodave :
I'm thinking the same. Even if the job isn't a write-off, I'm thinking I should change anyway. Thanks, hon. Dxx
from g-e-gibb :
Glad that everything is okay with you! I'm living in Ohio. But thankfully, not for long. Hope all is well! g

from g-e-gibb :
I know what it is like to be in a city where I am not really me. Also, I am in a job (and a life, right now) where I am not stimulated and am very bored. Thanks for writing down the thoughts that I have too sometimes.
from relapsegrl :

Hope you make it through the weekend and into the Monday sunshine intact. Dxx
from discodave :
Thanks for the birthday wishes, hon. Dxx
from discodave :
Heh - you have a dark side, don't you? Wanting boys to dress up as Parisian serving girls, indeed. It's too cold here for the skirt, anyway. Dxx
from sidewaysrain :
PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY! it sounds very lovely.
from sidewaysrain :
drop me an email and I will hook you up!
from discodave :
Thanks for that - although I still have a month and a half before the other - don't worry, I'll mention it a lot before then ;) Dxx
from discodave :
Oddly, there seems to be a lot of American/Scots trysts going on. I don't know why, but seeing as I have been one half of one, all I can say is that it makes as much sense as anything else. And I wouldn't change it now it's past. Dxx
from tater-fay :
Yea..I think you should give the new M. Atwood a try. I know it seems kinda weird at first (I thought so too) but just read more and it gets better, and I'm not a fan of "futuristic" stuff (which it sort of is)...but it's good, actually. Give it a try:)
from sundaygirl :
you can email me at [email protected] and I will gladly give you the password!
from hellparadise :
Your username is very cool. I just finished reading the Dharma Bums, it's an awesome book. Are you a Kerouac fan?
