I'm one of those people who was inconvenienced by the snow. But you're right, it does make everything look pretty amazing. Must be nice for your child... last time I tried to build a snowman it was just a small mound of snow with a carrot in it somewhere.

I sympathise with your family's loss. It's hard to find any positives in these situations but, having been there myself, it can bring people closer together. I really hope that the rest of 2008 is happier for you and yours.

New diary, eh? I like it. I felt the same about my diary, I'd gone through so much in all the years I'd been with Diaryland and I felt I needed a change, a kickstart to new things and so I moved to Wordpress. There's a link on my old diary if you're interested, I'd love to see you there sometime! :) So far I've liked it and feel renewed. I hope this new diary allows you to write what you want when you want.
