I have a feeling you won't get this. You and TC have dropped off the face of (my) earth and I MISS YOU! It's probably all my fault; I don't even have your email address anymore. I've considered calling you up at CHAW but thought that might be psycho. I just wanted you to know though that sarafem is now closed and i'm at sarafemandtequila.com. Please come visit and don't forget to say hello because i miiiiisssss you.
from heidiann :
I've always adored you, you know this. But the comments you left pushed my adoration to a place I didn't even think could exist. You not only defended me, you did so by quoting the GREATEST Julia Sugarbaker tirade of ALL time. I'm going to print your comment and stick it up on my wall because it was so wonderful and sweet and perfect and everything I need to remind myself of on a daily basis. Thank you a million times over. =)
from sapphyr :
What an amasing tribute to your grandmother! Thank you for sharing that special relationship with us. I am honoured. ~Sapphyr

from jfsuperstar :

from sapphyr :
You're right. I am so pained right now... Big hugs to you, if you feel like me, I'm sure that you need one. Take Care, ~Sapphyr
from dharmaqueen :
i love YOUR scrapbook ideas! :)
from iamhubpluh :
If you are voting AGAINST Bush, check out http://BADNARIK.com he is for 100% EQUALITY right for the Gay/Lesbian community as well as for stoping the war in Iraq, and NOT sending more troops as Kerry is for (based on his debate answers). Vote your heart, not the less of two evils!
from sapphyr :
You are a mixology guru... I'M NOT WORTHY! I'M NOT WORTHY! :-) ~Sapphyr
from goodsandwich :
The MINUTE the baby is born, J. and the midwives and I are going to drink a Betty Boop. Thank God you are so gay, and that I know where to read you!
from chuffnutt :
Not only does Wal-Mart suck, but they're evil! I saw a documentary called, "Store Wars" about how they suck the business out of a town and its surrounding companies. Even when some Wal-Marts don't last and uproot to go elsewhere, they've left a financial gapping hole in the city's economy. It was very fascinating to watch. Have you seen it? Check http://www.imdb.com and search it's database for it for more info. My mom works at Wal-Mart and I use to work there for 3 months. I'm still washing its history from my DNA.
from dharmaqueen :
reading your entries is beautiful and wonderful and refreshing. i adore you and miss you dearly (i know your name isn't dearly, it's shirley). xo.
from jfsuperstar :
i'm a burner too-(i'm not sure why, perhaps i enjoy torturing edibles), but i only eat the golden ones. i ***heart*** soymilk. ever tried 'very vanilla' by silk?
from sapphyr :
THANKS :-) I will be pursuing something in the field of sociology, focusing in multi-culturalism and diversity issues in the United States. My BA and MA work is in history and sociology respectively. Oddly enough, I read your entry and though to myself "Wow! e's entry is rather similar to mine," and you noted that! I'm glad to know you are taking time to relax. There is nothing more important than down time for one's sanity. Take care! ~S.
from sapphyr :
Thanks for your sweet note! ~Sapphyr
from jfsuperstar :
re: your 6/19 entry-i totally fucking hear you loud and clear.
from gerkat :
Be careful about combining politicians with your event. 501c3 can't endorse or even appear to endorse a candidate or party. Could cost you your tax exempt status.
from heidiann :
Is this going to be for a big, high end event? Or something smaller? And are you having trouble thinking up items or places to hit up? If you just need general ideas for a bigger event... Our big annual event is in October and I'm already thinking of items. One thing I came up with is theme packages. Like, "Live Like a Rock Star." And you could get a weekend stay at a nice hotel, a sports car rental, a bottle of Cristal, maybe a cert to a hoity toity clothing store. Or "Face Your Fears" with a skydiving lesson, race car lesson, bungee jump, etc. And maybe you could get a board member or anyone else really to donate frequent flyer tickets. And then get a weekend stay somewhere out of town donated. If you're looking for something smaller, spa and beauty salon packages do well at our events. If it's a fairly well known salon. Try hitting up local radio stations, they always get tons of comped things they could pass along. Am I helping at all? I could just be telling you things you already know or are of zero help to you but I figured it couldn't hurt to babble for awhile. =)

from jfsuperstar :
thanks for your sympathy for my ailing boob. i'm doing much better now.
from jfsuperstar :
i loved the girl scout story. i'm currently in the middle of writing a zine book about all my jobs called "blow jobs and temporary insanity". it probably won't be done for a couple of years. anyway, i bring it up because i knew i was doomed in the labor movement when i never could successfully sell gs cookies. i think every troupe has some bitch where her mother does the selling for her. ps- totally loved the hoedowns, and was surprised when they changed the name.
from jfsuperstar :
thanks for the compliment. i like your writing too. i looked at your profile, perhaps it was the fact we both enjoy TMBG? who knows, but let's keep in touch.
from sapphyr :
WOW! Your last entry was poignant. ~Sapphyr
