That smooch was, indeed, oh-so-very gay. Tulsa is NOT on the way to Santa Monica. We will be going via OKC, which is a more direct route. Anyway, another friend, Lori is originally from Tulsa, and she keeps saying we should go there some weekend, so I may end up in your neck of the woods this year after all. I can't believe Baby E is no longer a baby. Four years old! Wow. Anyway, please do let me know if you guys make it to LR. Are you on MySpace by any chance?
from mmqc :
What a surprise to hear from you! Do you have e-mail access now? If so, I'm still at the same e-mail addy. Send me a line one of these days! I'll be going through OK next month, but I won't be anywhere near Tulsa--driving to Santa Monica, Calif., w/my friend Linda for Road Trip '07.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know how much I really enjoyed reading the stories about your family connections. The bad times, the sad times, and the good times. I can definitely Identify with those! The cycle of life is like the seasons of the year. You shared that reality in each story you tell, nothing more real than life!
from mmqc :
Hey! Long time, no hear-from. Glad to see you're still around the cyber-world. Haven't updated my diary in a while (as you could tell), but then, neither have you! Send me a message and fill me in on what's been going on. I'm still at the same e-mail address.
from mmqc :
Well, look who updated his diary! I don't know if you'll ever check your notes, but I saw this today, about a WWI x-mas truce veteran: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051121/od_nm/britain_veteran_dc
from mmqc :
Just wondering if you're still around. E-mail me.
from mmqc :
"The Life Aquatic" is on my list of movies to see...heck, it had **2** Bowie songs in the trailer alone, so you knew I'd be going. :) Also, have you seen the new WWI-themed movie yet? It's not opening here until this weekend (even though it's been out since November--that's Little Rock for you).
from mmqc :
Sorry to hear about the computer melt-down. If you ever get back on-line, here's a website you might be interested in: http://www.art-ww1.com/gb/index2.html Art of the First World War

from mmqc :
I am so going to kill him for using that name. Should get the car back today--wish me luck! Hope you're still liking your new job.
from leslieirene :
Hi there! Thanks for adding me as a favorite! I truly appreciate it! Have a wonderful weekend...well, what's left of it! Blessings to you, Leslie Irene
from wyldmom :
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the nice note of condolences yesterday. I was plain ignoring everyone except for family. And trying very hard to get myself to sleep. Much good luck and positive vibes to you and your family, especially w/ job hunting. I know you guys will come out in a better place.
from berrywine :
Hey father figure guess what...that's right baby and I are creating chaos again...admit it you love us heh
from yellokitty :
your wife is stunning. :)
from mmqc :
Admit it. You were soooo going to sign Wyldmom's guestbook with a comment about the thongs ... until you saw my entry! Ha! BTW, it's whipped CREAM, not whipped cread. Happy New Year!
from mmqc :
Dude--maybe those girls in the movie theater were just plain IGNORING you. :P
from mmqc :
Just wanted to say hi. Hi! Tag, you're it.
from quantum87 :
I know a girl who cries when she practices violin cause every note sounds so pure. It just cuts her, and then the melody starts pouring out of her eyes. Now to me everything else seems like a lie.
from fangedfemale :
Hey, I've been reading your diary and you haven't updated lately <:-( (by the way, I'm Saber/Sabella) :-)
from wyldmom :
I just wanted to let you know I have Rewired Radio on all day while I am working. Now starts the process of conversion of the co-workers.
from wyldmom :
Dude, I'm digging your music.
from wyldmom :
Well hey there! What's up? Got your note. Took me some time to figure out the note thing. But here I am, a virgin in Diaryland. Be gentle, ok. Well, not too gentle.
from mmqc :
Hey--I just remembered: I had a dream last night that I was browsing around on Diaryland (as if I don't do it enough when I'm awake) and a came across a banner ad for you diary. When I tried to click on it though, it changed into a banner ad for Mongi's diary. Still haven't seen your ad in real waking life though.
from mmqc :
OK, yes, all your damn notes are going to be from me. Tough luck. Hey--I was adding some of your entries to the new favorites thingie (http://members.diaryland.com/edit/favourites.phtml?user=mmqc), and I just realized--you've deleted one of my favorites! Aargh!
from mmqc :
Five sentences. Five whole sentences. Whoopee-frickin'-doo. I think I'll go read Buscemi's diary instead. :)
from mmqc :
Dude. I **am** skinny. I just have a big butt. So, now that you have totally insulted me, I am going to fix my incinerating gaze upon you. Prepare to die.
from mmqc :
re: profile--Nice. Real nice. From now on, I remain silent so my words cannot be used against me. Hahaha. Yeah, we'll see how long that lasts. :)
from blackorwhite :
Hi, I just started a new public diary called black or white. Its a diary where you can post something that you think is really really good, or really really bad. I would love for you to post something! Thank you so much for your time!

from mmqc :
Great job on the latest War Artist entry. I didn't know what "adipocere" meant, so I had to look it up in the dictionary. Too bad I was eating lunch at the time...
from purplmittens :
ohh! This is great!! Can't wait for the next entry.....
from mmqc :
Yeah, the links work on the old pirate radio entry. I like the pictures you added.
from mmqc :
Yay! Ghost Incubator! Yay!!! What happens next? I can't wait! The story is very cool so far...
from purplmittens :
hi again..no you're not seeing double (heh) most pple think that they are. Just a note to say I'm doing a new layout and messing up really really nicely! So I've had to lock it up til I can *fix* the mess. If I can........ ::::pulling out red hair:::::borrowing some from twin::::: lol rock on! Rusti
from purplmittens :
Hi:) I'm glad you joined the unique diary ring, because your diary *is* just that. Thanx for the nice note, too.
from mmqc :
Psst...I've heard the Helmet version of "Gigantor," and it rocks! I think it was on a various-artist cd of Saturday morning cartoon themes. I really need to grow up.
from mmqc :
Ya know, I do occasionally check the profiles. "Baby Got Back?" Oh, brother. How long has that gem been up there? Actually, it made me laugh and now everybody in the office is looking at me funny...
from mmqc :
Yay, you got a good review! I knew you would. Has anyone signed up for your oh-so-exclusive-and-unpronounceable diary ring yet?
from mmqc :
P.S. I really like the story so far. I don't know anything about writing myself, so I can't give any good constructive criticism in that area. There is one thing that kinda bothered me about the second installment, though: I don't think anyone would consider themselves (or another person) fortunate to have had an unfortunate disease in childhood. Even if the illness led to them discovering a talent for painting or some other life's passion, could it really be called fortunate? You did go on to describe it's seriousness by saying how she nearly died and how it affected her growth. It's just the first sentence that seems to contradict the rest or doesn't fit or something. Or, I could just be an idiot, which is much more likely. Feel free to ignore me at any time. I'll never know. :)
from mmqc :
No, it is *not* pronounced Dolphin. Brat.
from mmqc :
Yes, I'm sure Boggy Creek is quite awful, but, I really, really wanted to make fun of Arkies this weekend. :( Especially after being stood up by two of them in a row Friday! Grr... BTW, I liked the first installment of your story. When's part two gonna show up...?
from mistylogan :
ecovlke, you rock. I am setting the table for you and MsMongi with coffee, incense, and scented candles. There is also a small stool w/a mike by the stage w/a tip jar if you'd like to perform from the songs in your hearts as a duet. - Autumn Mist
from mmqc :
No, never saw Creep Show, never saw Joe's Apartment, or any other roach movie. I can't even look at picture of a cockroach w/o getting the heebie jeebies!
from mmqc :
Just read your entry for today, 2/20/02, and I wanted to let you know that you're very weird. Re: prev. note you wrote--yes, NM is Natalie Merchant, and yes, I wore black on Valentine's Day. I also wrote stupid love cliches on Star Wars valentines and passed them out to people I work with. Because Valentine's Day in elementary school was not traumatic enough, and I wanted to relive the joy. And because people were starting to think I'd become a normal little rat-racer. I think I'm going to ask random people to leave you notes here, because it's starting to look like this is my own personal ranting space. Hmm.
from mmqc :
Re: Entry for 2/6/02 Now, I KNOW you're not making fun of my dearly beloved David Bowie, right? Anyway, I'm pretty sure he'll never end up on an Oklahoma poster. Anyway, I didn't believe the part about Eric Clapton, so I looked up his bio, and he was born in Ripley, England. Maybe it's some other Eric Clapton. Like, not Eric Clapton, the guitar legend, but Eric Clapton, the guy who lives down street and has those two big dogs.
from mmqc :
Just FYI--I figured out why that e-mail kept getting sent back to me. All Dept. of Interior related web access, including e-mail, has been shut down by court order since the beginning of December. This also affects anything at bia.gov. Sorry, I knew this, but didn't make the connection until today because I'm so scatterbrained! You probably did give me the correct e-mail addy the first time.
from mmqc :
E-mail to Rosemary Ellison returned to me again as undeliverable. I guess I give up. :(
from mmqc :
Ok, tried the e-mail again. Thx.
from mmqc :
Hi. Tried to e-mail museum person, but it was returned as an invalid e-mail address. I tried, I really did. Also, have to agree w/msmongi about the snow angel/virginity thing. Ha.--mmqc
from mmqc :
There's obviously something wrong with me, since this is the third note I've left on your diary...I promise I'm not a cyber-stalker, but I just had to say that your entry for today (12/15) was hilarious! I hope you're not really that depressed, and btw, what exactly IS a "Pine-Sol cocktail?"
from mmqc :
Hi, I got your note, thanks. I did finally go over to 365 to listen to your lineup--haven't listened to all 8+ hours yet (I like to pretend I have other things to do), but I have to say that what I've listened to so far beats anything on Little Rock radio! I also have to mention that I glanced at your profile and notice that you've added "But, I'm A Cheerleader" to your favorite movies. I almost fell on the floor laughing. A co-worker and I have been having a running, um, disagreement (which I seem to be losing) over this movie for the past 4 or 5 months. She thinks the movie is great, I think it's trashy. She talks about it all the time, mostly to annoy me. She has somehow also gotten random people to bring up the movie, when I'm in earshot. I think she's paying them.
from mmqc :
Hi, ecovlke. I just noticed that you had added my diary to your favorites. Thanks! I also noticed that you're about the only other person alive who has actually seen Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence. My, what good taste you have! Glad to read you don't have anthrax. Feel better soon! --MMQC
