I am so sorry to hear about Tobi. People who do things like that eventually have to pay their karmic dues, which I know is of little comfort. You will be reunited with her one day - perhaps even in this life. As for you leaving A...WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I've been hoping you'd do that for the longest time. My family wasn't exactly understanding when I wanted to leave FF and some of them were truly hateful about it, but in the end I had to do what I thought was best. If yours can't understand that right now what you're doing is not only good for you, but essential to your survival, you may have to be without them for awhile until they wake up a bit. Just don't let pressure from them change your mind. You deserve so much better than you've gotten from A and they're just going to have to get over it.

Um...OUCH!! I feel your pain. Seriously. I used to have a van with a hatch that opened upward on the back, which I had to dodge as it came down to avoid having it smack me in the head as it closed (have I ever mentioned how much fun it is to be so short?). I never did get hit on the head with it, but one time it scraped one of my itty bitty boobs on the way down - HARD. Lefty was black and blue for almost two weeks.

soooo...ummm, dawn dish detergent is great for murdering fleas. also throw a flea collar in the vacuum cleaner bag. qutzi had fleas fleas and some more fleas. she would host them in our bed. it was truly horrible. fortunately they didn't bite us any. however whimpering puppy is pretty pitiful. between those and putting the collar on her(the gel stuff didn't work worth a damn) the fleas died within days. gl

Not as much as I'd like. I rarely get on Larry's PC at night any more and I don't try to AIM much during the day because with the kids up I constantly get interrupted. I feel like I'm being rude to the person I'm chatting with when I have to do the 'brb' every few minutes or sign off suddenly. When you're ready and you feel emotionally and spiritually strong enough, you could call the police and have him removed. If his name is not on a lease he's got no claim and he's just hanging on to be a pain in the ass. The cops can remove him and a restraining order can keep him away. If you're that certain that he has to go, then he HAS to go. His girlfriend constantly calling is completely unacceptable (but probably why he was so insistant about getting the phone hung up), and he has to know that. I wonder if he's testing to see how far he can push you?

You most certainly DO deserve better than this. Looks like he's grasping, trying to figure out which tactic is going to get him what he wants; back and forth between intimidation and affection. Don't be afraid to be alone - the company of one's self is far better than being coupled with an abuser. I had to learn that too, when things ended with FF, and it was so liberating!! There was brief terror and shock, followed by intense relief and the knowledge that I had done the right thing. I spent ten years in a similar situation. Spare yourself that kind of time if you can. Your self image is off right now, but believe me, there are many people who will be attracted to you. MANY. You're smart, gorgeous and spiritual. You care about others and have a great sense of humor. Don't let your experiences with A kill that, and don't let him convince you that no one but him will ever love you. That's complete bullshit. He's not only abusing you, he's leaning toward going after your animals in an attempt to get to you, which shows you what kind of person he has become. You can do so much better.
