P.S. Jane Yolen -- I saw your notes back and forth to raven about her -- I met her when I was in second grade when I was chosen to attend a conference for young writers....she was really great. Read her new book to all of us and gave us tips on writing, which of course I can't remember now....wish I could!

The hand movements (I presume your talking about reiki) aren't hard, and in fact aren't very important, as you can change them around. It's more learning to feel the energy flowing through you. I don't think you have to be tranquil to do it - but it makes me feel like that. Completely calm and centered. Quiet. It's a great feeling. I love your story, and the subtitles are great... nice music.
