I don't judge you. In fact, I agree. I could not have my job if I didn't go to college. In CA you can't teach (even sub) without a college degree. Ryan didn't finish college and look where he is in terms of work. In this economy affording college is hard, but it opens more doors and offers possibilities. I'm all about having choices. And frankly, I love learning. As hard as it was to go to school 2-3 nights a week with kids and a full time job, I loved when I took classes 6 years ago to add the science subject matter authorization to my credential. I'd keep taking classes if I could afford the time and cost. I really enjoy it.
from scrappergirl :
So wonderful to hear that you guys got in touch!!
from my-fruition :
Your note moved me to tears. Thankyou SO much for still thinking of us. Although we've lost pretty much everything we own, fortunately our house will be habitable again, and we're safe. That's really all I care about now. Love you. S.

Good to hear good news.

{{{{{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}} -- I'm just catching up. So much that there's nothing particular to say. Just a warm hug and positive thoughts.
from friskyseal :
i dunno, nothing to write about. i landed a free gym membership so i try and swim every day. i'm moving to the bay area soon. sometimes i take vicodin. i buy unnecessary things i can't really afford. i dunno.
from wyndspirit :
Hi, I'd love to read--you can send a PW to my D-land e-mail if you let me in. :) BTW, which town in the Monadnock region? I'm at least somewhat familiar with most of them.
from mel-is-dvash :
Just saying hi. "Hi!" 'Cause I'm here today. ;-)
from friskyseal :
thank you, you too! otter3 had a bad new year's. there's this little girl here in a wheelchair--they tell me she's from afghanistan--and when i tried to get her to play with him, she screamed at him! loudly. like he was some kind of dinosaur! now he's sad.
from mel-is-dvash :
Hello, nice to meet you. May I please have access also to your diary? I had a small farm in Western Massachusetts, and then we tried to move up to the Northeast Kingdom in VT. Two years - ish in Vermont and we ended up in Israel. Strange world. Thanks for coming by and introducing yourself. ;-)
from friskyseal :
thank you for your note. it means very much to me.
from outer-jessie :
Thank you for stopping by!
from chickpea981 :
Ummm, yeah. I'm gonna need an invite to your blogishness. I deleted my myspace account eons ago and I have no other way of following you. chickpea981 at gmail
from nixtress :
Soooooo...are we allowed to follow you to blogger? Pwetty pweez? If so, my email is nixtressAThotmailDOTcom. :) Glad to hear a tiny update. I worried.
from scrappergirl :
Alright, I have your blogger bookmarked, but I'm not an invited reader. No wonder I wasn't getting updates on the RSS feed.
from chickpea981 :
OK I tried to catch up on myspace and I tried facebook but I see nothing. What the fuck happened with Brad?!?!?!?!!?!?
from nixtress :
It sounds like Life is kicking you around a little. If you ever want to talk or just need to vent, you can email me and I'll send you my number or Yahoo id. I've been in a similar space and have had similar experiences. I'm sorry it's not going well for you :(
from scrappergirl :
You know how to find me if you need to talk. My yahoo messenger is almost always on...I'm just invisible when I'm working and then forget to un-invisible myself at home. And, you can text or call me. Anytime.
from dragprincess :

from dragprincess :
i think you're a totally kickass mom.
from chickpea981 :
You should have done screen shots on the pictures and myspace profile before you were de-friended. You should have definitely reported it to the other PD as well. However, hindsight is 20/20 and when enraged, we lack clarity so I completely understand. Don't kick yourself for having previous douchebag ex's because you currently have someone rather incredible.
from dragprincess :
I'm confused - is Jenn the 15 year old teen whore in the MySpace pic?
from fluttrbykiss :
I'm so happy that things are FINALLY looking up for you and that you are in a stable LOVING relationship... You -- and the kidlets -- deserve it!!!! *huggles*
from dragprincess :
Nope, can't see the Times Square nuttiness from my place, but did see them from a barge in the river! Happy 2008, I know this'll be a wonderful year for you and yours.
from fluttrbykiss :
Oh hon... I am so sorry that TJ's birthday is coming up and you are feeling this way... I KNOW what it's like to be without meds... It totally sux... If you need someone to talk to my email addy is s.bushey06atgmaildotcom. I'm always here for conversation and bouncing of ideas and worries. I understand that I am far away, but sometimes that can be better... ;o) HUGGGGEEEE *huggles*
from dragprincess :
You are my hero - turning vegetarian and sticking to it! Amazing!
from scrappergirl :
Ha! I just read that right before I looked at your diary. And I laughed. A lot. Ho ho ho!
from nixtress :
Your entry on TJ's anniversary was so bittersweet. You were blessed to have him for the short time you did but that doesn't make saying goodbye any easier. My thoughts are with you.
from fluttrbykiss :
You and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Please remember that you should celebrate TJ's life and you WILL meet him again... :o) *Huggles*
from nixtress :
You guys are lucky. Our trick or treat is always a week before Halloween and only lasts an hour, usually from 6-7pm. Nuts, I tell ya! I think it loses something. When I was a kid, we loved having it on Halloween---it was just part of the holiday!! Our schools here won't allow the kids to dress up anymore and have changed the Halloween parties to Harvest Day parties, with no Halloween themed anything. It SUCKS.
from chickpea981 :
ok I just got myself all caught up on you and here's me on my soapbox. girlie, all I can say is think about all your money woes and the behavioral problems you're having with a few of them and then think of how adding another child to the mix would make things worse. You have beautiful children and have been blessed to have them. before you know it, you'll be older and thinking "when do these kids move out?" and then you have grand kids to look forward to. I know november sucks for you and thats whats stirring up all the feelings but try and focus on the blessings you have and put some more positive thinking out there. mayhaps paxil will help you get some of that happiness back that you had when you and brad first re-connected. remember those conversations we'd have on yahell? I sure do. anywho, I 'm glad I'm back in to read you. I missed you damn it.
from scrappergirl :
stupid tech people at work did a computer upgrade and deleted all of my saved passwords. email me, please!! [email protected]
from jensanimals :
I think you are right. It must be a boy thing. I have had several people tell me they went through the same thing. Guess it could be the age, too. I know my oldest girl had some trouble but nothing like this. I just hope he gets back on track soon. Thanks.. I am talking to my mom about borrowing her pick up one more time to get to AL. We shall see!
from nixtress :
Hey there :) Have you changed your username/password info for visitors? I just tried the ones I've been using and now they don't work... If you're still willing to share, I'd love to have the new ones. If not, I understand. Thanks :)
from jensanimals :
Hi! I haven't been online in a while and thought I would drop in and catch up but you are locked. Hope things are going ok.
from fluttrbykiss :
Yay!!!! for s-k-o-o-l!!! I am lovin' me some quiet time... heheh... You go girl!! You deserve it after the summer you've had... ;o) *huggles*

from fluttrbykiss :
I believe in signs that loved ones who have passed on are watching over us too. ;o) I totally believe your buejay story!!! It is sooo beautiful to know that you have a part of your son there with you when you see those birds. Brought tears to my eyes. *huggles*
from scrappergirl :
I understand exactly how you feel. I have days just like that here. Hang in there!
from fluttrbykiss :
Awwwww.. Sweetie, I soooo know how you feel. MY very own offspring are the very same way. Take.. Take.. and take some more but, never give an inch... Ssomeday it will change. At least, YOU know that YOU tried and one day they'll realize that too. ;o) *huggles*
from dragprincess :
girl, don't EVER apologize for getting your emotions out in your diary. if someone doesn't want to hear it - then they don't have to read. whine, cry, complain. let it ALL out.
from fluttrbykiss :
I'm with you hon... I am feeling your pain, believe me... C'mon SCHOOL!!!! Hang in there, it's not long off. *huggles*
from scrappergirl :
I may not blog often, but I'm staying put. My students haven't found me here and I've never heard any of them mention DLand at school, so I feel "safe" from their prying eyes. :P
from bellasmommy :
ANother baby? WOAH- I think I might be a little pissed if I were you too- esp since you get squat from him as is in way of support- GRR to stupid people!
from nixtress :
It sounds like you're having a rough time right now and I'm sorry for that. Can I help somehow?
from nixtress :
nixtressAThotmailDOTcom. You're welcome! I know how hard it can be just to get started...take it a day at a time and don't beat yourself up on days you slip. And don't give up! One day isn't going to cancel every effort you make. You can do it!
from nixtress :
I've been struggling with weight myself and in January had had enough. Part of my problem was that I was eating one meal a day (busy mom!) and snacking the rest of it (not good snacks, either). I decided at that point that I was going to buy healthy snacks (fruit, veggies, crunchy granola bars, those 100 calorie packs of yummy oreo crisps, etc) and make a concerted effort to watch my calories and fat as well as exercise more. I've lost 35 pounds since January, by eating no more than 1200 calories a day (which, when eating lowfat and lowcalorie amounts to a TON of food!!) and walking with the kids and dog daily. I'm cooking healthier (which the kids have hated:P) but making progress. Unfortunately, with your mom, I don't think there's a lot you can do unless she sees what you're doing and tries it on for size too. You can't make the changes for her, she has to do it herself. My mom is an alcoholic and I will tell you from experience, no amount of talking is going to change their behaviors. Good luck! My advice is to concentrate on yourself and hope that shows your mom how it can be for her too. Maybe ask her outright if she's interested in getting on board with you---it helps to have someone to support and support you.
from chickpea981 :
B&BWorks is superior as far as coconut goes. I have yet to find anything that even comes close or lasts as long without using coconut oil directly. Also, they have that coconut lime verbena stuff that is divine but just my luck, they probably don't make it anymore.
from fluttrbykiss :
YES!!! There IS banana cake!!! I can't get it in GA... I have to go all the way to Ohio to buy the mix, but when I go I buy like 10 boxes and it usually gets me through until I go back, if I be extra careful with them. Hehehe.. They are reaaalllyyy yummy!!!!!! ;o) The closest thing we have here, which we don't have in Ohio is Butter Pecan... Go figure.
from dukkha-tanha :
BITCH. You made me tear up with this entry. How sweet was it. Shit, you really conveyed those feelings of love. And I'm all down on the marriage thing right now. Seriously, I am very happy for you. Congratufuckinglations! =)
from dragprincess :
Congratulations, Mrs. Brad! So it's your third marriage -- so what??? Now is what counts - not then.
from nixtress :
Happy Wedding :) I hope everything goes well and wanted to wish you congrats on becoming Mrs. Brad :)
from bellasmommy :
I am sorry Jamie! Seems people (your dad and Brad's brother) are letting you down but if you think about it they are not the ones you really truly need! Focus on you- be sad but then get happy cause in less than a week you are living my dream! I am looking to you to hope my future is bright and I care!!! Fuck those that make you feel shitty! I need to come take care of em! HUGS!!!!
from chickpea981 :
pretty sure I don't have PMDD based on what you posted and what I read. All my shit is like the day I begin and only goes on during the period part. I only get one day of each symptom if that. Sometimes only a few hours. Plus I only get 4 periods a year because of the seasonale. I really dont get much pre-period. I think I'm just miserable for 7 days and 4 or so of those days I'm bleeding like a stuck pig. You can't take the recent shit in the recent posts for PMDD either because there's been other shit going on.
from willowfox :
Yo this is so not fair. You can read me but I can't read you. IF you trust me to let me into your wuurrrld, please email your password to [email protected]. Thanks! :)
from bellasmommy :
The pics are great! I think I turned my notes on! LOL
from bellasmommy :
I say fuck family! Seriously ours need to meet up- moochers who drink and act like assholes unite! I am glad you talked to your mom too- itis good to get the yuckiness out on occasion and have some family you do not despise! It is a shame we can not pick em- then again would anyone have family??? LOL
from dukkha-tanha :
The saying is right. You're good. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Can you ask Tina what "misable" means? I'm curious. ;)
from dragprincess :
girl - three powerful words for you. hitachi magic wand.
from dukkha-tanha :
Hey lady! Can I get your pword info? Email me at my dland address or via myspace? Please? =)
from dragprincess :
any questions you have...let me know!
from dragprincess :
you know, i do plan big events for a living, so if you want help, let me know.
from dragprincess :
Families are so difficult - remember that you're marrying *Brad* and not his crazy family. You're powerless...but you're also nobody's doormat.
from chickpea981 :
Dude thats EXACTLY how I feel about zombies and I thought Dawn of the Dead was a little too real. Really fucked me up for months after seeing that. *cringe* Yet I love it. Also, you need to fix your notes link on your page. Maybe you need to take the %% out for that one link.
from dragprincess :
ugh. UGH. nate needs some boundaries. no more money. if he calls to scream, you hang up. until he learns to control his temper, you don't have to entertain that part of him.
from dragprincess :
how beautiful is that wedding plan?
from chickpea981 :
NO NO NO NO NO do NOT buy more black dye! You will never end the cycle if you do that. NO, instead do what I did: buy a VERY dark brown and if you have to, buy two of them. You will never be able to recover from the black until it grows out (took me two years) but the dark brown will help cover the greys and cover the roots and blend far more efficiently. Please trust me on this one! And then give your poor folicles a break!
from the-moo :
oooh thank you so much!! here ae the hugs I promised *hughughughughug* and I am now off to poke about (in a nice way) your lovely world in here!! *morehugs* xxx
from the-moo :
*knock knock* Hello there may I come in? I bring hugs.. oh yes!! xxx
from nixtress :
Thank you for the note. It's funny how a pet can feel like such a part of your family...
from smedindy :
Thanks for the add! May I have your password, etc. if you give it out?
from liquid-mojo :
Sorry, I don't mean to be. =/ But still, I'll take that as a compliment. Thanks for your honesty.
from liquid-mojo :
If it makes you feel any better, it's basically a regular V3i that I converted into a gold D&G one by swapping the case and reprogramming the software. With the money I and time I spent doing all that however, it woulf probably have been more cost-effective if I just bought a D&G phone straight to begin with. =p
from nixtress :
It must be incredibly difficult to go through what you have, as a parent. I've lost two babies to miscarriages but I think that probably pales in comparison. From everything I've read, I have to say that you're doing a wonderful job continuing to live your life and I don't imagine that's the easiest thing some days. You're a great mom to ALL your children.
from dragprincess :
honey, i don't think it's possible to ever really get over the death of a child. you go ahead and give yourself permission to grieve when you need to.
from nixtress :
They need to just do the nasty and get it over with! Meredith's mom is such a mean bitch. I think I liked her better Alzheimer's-ridden!
from nixtress :
I love Christian Slater, in all his bad boy-ness. Legend of Billie Jean, Pump Up The Volume, Untamed Heart (yum)... *sigh*
from nixtress :
I have lost 20 pounds in the last month by doing nothing more than limiting my caloric intake to 1200 or less a day, 3 meals and one healthy snack every day (not so easy because I'm not a breakfast gal), lots of water and at least one half hour walk every other day. I hate to sweat, hate exercising but was so ready to lose weight without wanting to shell out tens of thousands of dollars to do so. Let me know if I can offer suggestions! You can do it!
from dukkha-tanha :
Jackie is slow but she needs in. Can you send the p-word info to me via myspace? I will love you forever! =)
from dragprincess :
It was an e-bitchslap -- but a loving and caring bitchslap.
from dragprincess :
Calm it down. You're powerless over her crazy actions. She's your mom -- but that doesn't give her the right to treat you like a slave. You get to do what YOU need to do -- not what she demands that you do. "No" is a complete sentence.
from dragprincess :
**that entry broke my heart**
from nixtress :
Congrats!
from dragprincess :
Mazel tov!!
from scrappergirl :
When are you gonna get your butt out here for a long weekend? I think you need and deserve it!!! As for Rent, makes me feel better too. I haven't watched it in ages. Hmmmmm, maybe tonight...
from chickpea981 :
that muscle thing... thats a charlie horse and it means you are low in potassium. eat a few bananas or take some potassium pills. they are a bitch when you get them and they hurt all day (or two).
from dukkha-tanha :
HEY! Lady, I haven't forgotten about you. I'm just all, wrapped up in work and shit. But if you lock up, let me know. I'm serial! dukkha dash tanha at dland dot com. You know the drill. Hope all is well! Next time you're in Nash-Vegas's south end, pop into BJ's. Chances are, I'm working, the credit union is right up front. =)
from chickpea981 :
I am soooooooo over 2006. Bring on the next one so I can start the fuck over!
from jensanimals :
Now, that really sucks. Poor Deer. I am with you, I would have been bawling, too. Hope the repairs are nothing major or costly. And amen, to 2007 being better. One can only hope.
from fluttrbykiss :
Good luck!! Answering phones, and filing are not as hard as all that.. You'll do fine... ((huggles))
from liquid-mojo :
good luck in your new job. i'm sure you will find your groove...
from dragprincess :
You are NOT dumb -- you are inexperienced in the work world and hey, that changes super-fast. Be positive and be confident -- they want YOU to work there.
from dukkha-tanha :
Good for you. As a fellow Evil Step-Monster, you have every right to feel like you do. Don't let any wishy-washies make you feel bad about it, either. He has a mom, he can disrespect her. And you are so lucky that Brad is backing you up. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
I've got an idea. Make fun of the kid for being a pansy & sleeping with mom. LMAO. Oh she'd shit a brick wouldn't she? Maybe not then.
from dukkha-tanha :
Holy shit you're in kid hell. I've been there and it sucks.
from chickpea981 :
Well it took me long enough but I think I've finally caught up with you and everything that has gone on in the last couple weeks/months. Sorry I've been so lacking in comments. Anyway, just checking in to say hey. Loves ya.
from dukkha-tanha :
I love exes. I want my husband to have more! His most recent ex has been fine for a few years with no anticipated crap, although his other one is still acting like her usual douchebag self. You got it right when you said all about her. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
I have to say, I don't feel your pain cuz our post office has not one douchebag in it and they're kinda smart, too. Walk in there with a gun, they know that language. ;)
from dukkha-tanha :
WTF? Your wishing for Aunt Flo has brought her to me in a big way. I blame you! And what the hell? Cramps? I do not cramp, ever. Thanks a lot Jamie. ;)
from dukkha-tanha :
Oh that was interesting. The Creek is closed for good?
from dukkha-tanha :
Write more! Inquiring minds want to know! =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Yup, you're right. She has to do it for herself and all you can do is pray. And if she's trying to stay sober, why is George bringing her to the bar? That is not helping her. In the end, I'd have called the cops, too.
from dragprincess :
You got it. Nothing you can do except pray for her. She has to surrender on her own.
from fluttrbykiss :
OMG!!! I JUST went through the same exact thing with my son... Errr... Growing up... lol.. I had to look there for poison ivy and I was slapped with the UNDENIABLE fact that my *baby* is indeed... uhhh... Growing... No more denial for this mommy... ;o)
from fluttrbykiss :
Nice Digs!! I sure wish my house was THAT big...
from dragprincess :
Thank you, honey, for that sweet message. Your good wishes help a ton.
from dukkha-tanha :
You have way too many kids to get an Eclipse woman, are you tripping? My advice: get a minivan.
from my-fruition :
I haven't left you a note in far too long. Just know I've still been thinking of you. Enjoy things being good. Of everyone I've ever known, you deserve that the most. xx
from dukkha-tanha :
I, too, have a *sniffle* 1st grader next Sept (okay, Aug 29, but that's more kinda Sept anyway), and I know all about that sniffle. =)
from scrappergirl :
Go ahead...move to Cali. I won't stop you. :D
from dukkha-tanha :
Deja vu. =)
from dragprincess :
I thought that was lovely -- the blue jay and TJ (similarities even there in the names). No coincidences - just God reminding you that She's always there.
from dukkha-tanha :
OMG, do up a preferred readers blog on myspace! It doesn't cost $20. I'm all in the poverty hole like yourself. AND, 30's not so bad. You'll get used to it when it happens, and your "adult" status is a bit more respected. =)
from dragprincess :
Thank you for your sweet note -- and I bet we're more alike than you think......
from dukkha-tanha :
She's a peach! It's all insecurity. "OMG what if my kids like Jamie better than me?!?'. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Lesson for you: don't buy Chrysler products. The Durango is a nice looking vehicle, but they make them like crap! =)
from faith4x4 :
Happy Birthday Aidan!!! :) Ack hope you are feeling better J!
from dukkha-tanha :
HAppy Birthday to Aidan! (pssst, hey, Aidan...mom thinks teenage years start when you hit thirtenn. Let's teach her a lesson about that when you turn 12, mkay?) =)
from dukkha-tanha :
OMG, write a series of books. Like soap operas. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
11, huh? The tip of the iceberg, darling. Just wait. Could you imagine the rate of abortions if they put that shit in "What to Expect When You're Expecting"? There's no "What to Expect in the 12th year" for a reason! ;)
from dukkha-tanha :
Comment! On Dland! I love the stories about the skanky exes. Maybe you could get Brad's ex to hook up with Tim (of course, while the kids are in your custody) and he can duct tape her a bed? On a railroad track? With a train coming? I like that. I know others who need a taping, too. =)
from faith4x4 :
Love the new layout... Change is always a good thing. :) Miss ya!
from fluttrbykiss :
I like your new layout and I hope you and Brad stop arguing soon... I know how stressful that is... (((huggles)))
from dukkha-tanha :
Well, I hope you two get through it. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Hey, I read your shit! I haven't been commenting too much cuz i have been a total mess lately. BUt you know. Yay for myspace! I added you and if you accept, I will fill up your comments with funny pictures! =)
from fluttrbykiss :
hi. I just wanted to let you know that I stopped by and read some of your entries... I know where you're at with the migraines and sickness. Hope you feel better soon. And if you don't mind, I'll be back to read more, when I feel better myself.
from scrappergirl :
Thanks sweetie! *HUGS* back at ya!
from dukkha-tanha :
YAY! You lost 3.8 lbs! Guess what? I found them. =(
from dukkha-tanha :
You're welcome. =) Man what an exciting night.
from jensanimals :
Crossing fingers for all the snow they can get.. farther away from you of course. lol We are supposed to get 2 inches of snow down in North Alabama tonight(it never snows here.. at least not in the 4 years I have been here) My 3 year old just got glasses and it is hell keeping them on her. Any tips?
from dukkha-tanha :
Hee hee, I always felt that diarrhea or vomiting instantly negated any WW points. But that's me, and I am known for "bending" the WW rules. I never spoke much in meetings either, until I started losing 50+ pounds, at which point I became an example and had no choice. And even then it wasn't much. Oh! I forgot about your note the other day! My Aidan is still only five, I can't swap him for one that'll be a teenager sooner! If you want to know why, come by my house and spend a day with the teenager I have right now. Damn drama queen. You guys aren't supposed to get hit with as much snow as us. Personally, I want 12 inches. Of snow! That would be great. Have a lovely weekend! =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Remind me not to give Brad any shit! She osunds like a real piece of work. Anyway, if you don;t already, I'd start keeping a log of when he has the kids, dates, times, etc, especially note when she's late or early. If he doesn;t take them, note that too and why. ANd when she calls and gives him shit, too. Just in case she does get pissed enough to call her lawyer, at least you have facts to back you up. =)
from jensanimals :
Hey.. I know that song. lol That is too funny that he was singing it though.
from faith4x4 :
its a good thing i wasn't drinking when i read this entry. LOL Brad sounds like a riot. :)
from dukkha-tanha :
"Up Where We Belong", Jennifer Warnes and Joe Cocker. You never heard that? It was HUGE in 1982. Know what's sad? I didn;t have to even look that shit up. Useless information stuck in my head. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
My damn kids I mean.
from dukkha-tanha :
We do need to meet up. But personally, I'd like to do the bar thing some weekend. I'm no designated driver, so as long as you have a couch, I'm cool. Cuz those damn kids are staying home! =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Lots of plowing today, thanks! My daughter "lost" a tooth Tuesday. Actually, my husband pulled it out, cuz that's his thing. He tried a few days before, and I was behind him mouthing, "You can't right now! We have no cash!". But Tuesday, we were rich, as I had $2.00 on me, so he was given the "okay" to pull it. I was so proud of myself for not forgetting, but I kept thinking of you as I kept reminding myself not to forget. =)
from scrappergirl :
All the good sushi restaurants here (and there are a ton) and kinda buffet-style. You sit at the counter and the sushi boat goes around. You just take what you want. I used to love the stuff, but I totally lost my taste for sushi after being pregnant. Now, I can't stand the seaweed part at all and can only think about eating tuna or salmon and the rice. Funny thing is, I still love going to Japanese restaurants, though. I just order miso soup, teriyaki chicken/salmon/beef and tempura veggies. :)
from dukkha-tanha :
I'm with you on the too broke to buy food thing. I have to go to DHHS to beg for Food Stamps, and I'm sure your DHHS people up there suck as much as the ones down here. Yay, NH. We have to meet someday, soon, cuz we just have too much in common. Don't worry, I'll drive! Kudos to you for not getting too enraged and going and shooting up a mall or something. =)
from my-fruition :
Forgive me for being late at keeping up - But know that you and your dear boy have been in my thoughts and on my heart. Love ya chicky.
from faith4x4 :
Jamie, TJ is having a birthday party in heaven right now. I just know it. Cake, ice creme and all! Your post made me cry. That son of yours touched so many lives, and still does to this day. I wish I could be there to give you a hug. You are loved and TJ is loved and remembered. Praying for you dear woman.
from dukkha-tanha :
I forgot the Tooth Fairy THREE TIMES IN A ROW for my daughter. Nothing will make you feel like a piece of shit more than the heartbroken look on her face and the words, "Mommmy...the Tooth Fairy forgot AGAIN". I, too, make up bullshit, but nothing as good as your's. No, I use the old, "The Tooth Fairy left it downstairs because he couldn't find your room".Yes, my TF is a guy, just because. OH, and, I just got back from the Pheasant Lane and it was the worst hour of my life. What a freakin' mess. All the Massholes were out in true form, although a lot of folks from up here too, judging from the clusterfuck of traffic heading in from NAshua. There's nothing to be jealous of right now. And, lastly, my condolences on the loss of your son. It's so hard to have that kind of anniversary around this time of year. I know, today is the 24th anniversary of my mom's death. On that happy note, Merry Fucking Christmas! =)
from scrappergirl :
OMG, Bailey had the same tooth thing happen last month and the first tooth finally fell out 2 nights ago (while he was with a babysitter...another milestone I missed! *sigh*
from scrappergirl :
oh no, I've corrupted you! :P
from scrappergirl :
Wow. Really,no other words can cover it.
from dukkha-tanha :
That truly sucks. I'm sorry. =)
from scrappergirl :
Why would you know? I'm sure it's no longer on the group calendar! You soooo don't suck (well, maybe you do? *I* wouldn't know, but I digress...)! Mucho gracias--belated or not, it's the thought that counts. And, yeah, Ryan scored on that one BIG TIME!
from dukkha-tanha :
I've been through this, too. My husband came to me with a thousand times the baggage that you two have (okay, maybe not THAT much, but at times I think his name should be Samsonite). I had a bunch, too. It's hard. The time of year doesn't help at all, with Xmas and the cold. Our toughest times have always been in December & January. Kids & ex's. I can relate soooooo much. Right now I have a step son that I'd like to murder and one ex who should just be dead and save the waste of air for the productive members of society. I've wanted to end it more times than I can count, but starting over again would be harder than just sucking it up and dealing with it. Take care. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Hee hee, my Aidan is more like a blizzard than a nor-easter! Or a tornado. Sometimes more like hemoroids, but that's not weather now is it? ;)
from dukkha-tanha :
What's this 360 you keep mentioning? I've never heard of it. And, do you have an entry about what happened to TJ? I'm curious and have the urge to have something to get really sad about. =)
from dukkha-tanha :
Mine is Adelphia and usually shows up as being in Londonderry or Merrimack, even though I'm actually in Hudson, that's where our local Adelphia offices run out of. I've only had one NH hit lately, which I assume is you, but shows as being from Manchester. So, maybe mystery person isn't really in Washington. Or maybe they are. Stats counters are so fun! =)
from faith4x4 :
Love the new photo of the two of you. Too cute!!! :)
from scrappergirl :
"Does that line work on all the girls...." I love it! If you and I had a night on the town together we'd be dangerous! Drop me an email--something I want to talk to you about out of the public eye.
from dukkha-tanha :
Call your district office and ask for the # to set up direct deposit. They have a toll free number in Concord where they set it all up, they'll send you a form to fill out and you can send it back. They're very quick about it, too. And, patience my dear. It's a lot to get adjusted as a blended family. My husband & I have been together for five years and it gets a little easier as time goes on. Sometimes it helps to look at things from a different perspective. =)
from faith4x4 :
ahhh ex's... such a joy.
from dukkha-tanha :
Hey didn't they tell you that NH child support does direct deposit now? I've had it like a year and I love it. Haven't missed one payment, I mean one that was actually paid. And, I too have one that pays ka-ka for child support and my husband also pays $150/week. The guys with the steady jobs and the stable homes (ie; not changing addresses every ten minutes) are the ones that really get screwed. Anyway! Lovely day!
from faith4x4 :
Ack. Sounds like T. is being a real winner. Sorry... I hope that he gets his crap together for the sake of your daughter. :(
from gumphood :
again thanks so much for your warm wishes.
from dukkha-tanha :
Did you know that Aidan tranlates to "little fiery one"? Just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't. I named mine that KNOWING what it meant, and so far, he's lived up to the name. My husband and I are always saying that his cuteness is what's kept him alive this far. Oh! And about your note yesterday. Hudson is right next to Nashua, down here on the Mass border, so I'd say you are about an hour or so away from me. Fortunately, so far, I have no lice, just an itchy head. =)
from gumphood :
I'm from boston, but grew up near the Granite State. Thanks for your kind words. Honestly.
from dukkha-tanha :
Hey. I just wanted to say hi and thanks for adding me. I've added you too. I look forward to reading more about you. Not only are we in the same state, but I have an Aidan, too. I know that's not so unusual anymore, but at least we spell it the same way! =)
from scrappergirl :
midori sour, cape cod, appletini, tequila sunrise, fuzzy navel (although the last 2 have oj)--you'd honestly have no clue that I hardly ever drink, eh?!?
from faith4x4 :
Just wanted to let you know that your family has been in my thoughts this week.
from my-fruition :
My thoughts and prayers are with you today, Jamie xxx
from scrappergirl :
Love ya TJ! I've been thinking about him all weekend. For my own reasons, the date is etched permanantly into my brain....today is Bailey's birthday, and one of the things he wants to do is send a birthday balloon up to the skies for TJ.
from scrappergirl :
Ha ha ha ha ha...you are very witty today, now aren't you? LOL Actually, I've never thought of giving the task to my students. Think I could put that on the list of things I have my student aides do daily? If my entries start with "Hey Dawg! 'Sup?" you'll know it's not me!
from faith4x4 :
Ok the doodlebops or dweedlebugs (whatever they are!) are creepy looking. This is one moment when I am glad we don't have tv. LOL Good luck with your scrapbooking. :)
from scrappergirl :
So, you don't want me to mention that I got to touch ADJ then? {mock innocent voice}
from scrappergirl :
Gotta admit, I'm not a huge fan of PTC's, but that's just because from the teacher's chair, it's an exhausting week! LOL OK, the exhaustion part *is* true, but seriously, I think they are super important and I miss getting to conference with the good students now that I teach middle school.
from faith4x4 :
The photos of the kids are beautiful. They are getting so big!
from my-fruition :
What beautiful girls you have, Jamie - They are growing up so much!
from scrappergirl :
Gorgeous! Great school pics!
from scrappergirl :
Yeah, blame it on the rain (says the mom who was 10 feet away when her kid got smacked in the head with a baseball bat and understands your guilty feelings). Sounds good to me. :) In seriousness, I hope he mends speedily and painlessly.
from scrappergirl :
Heh...no kidding. We're kinda sitting around expecting a big quake. The Loma Prieta quake was at about this time 16 years ago (during the Bay Bridge A's-Giants world series). I was in Santa Barbara and missed that one, but had the "pleasure" of experiencing the Northridge quake 4 years later. In my opinion, the good thing about quakes is that they just happen. No traffic jams as people panic trying to get out of town, no frantic anticipation, just BAM. Weird, I know.
from jensanimals :
I am so sorry to hear about your friend. How ironic that I read your entry today (29th) It has been 14 years(today)since my dad committed suicide. And you are certainly right. The what-ifs are awful. Even after 14 years, I still ask myself what if and I am sure I always will.
from my-fruition :
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, Jamie. My thoughts are with you xx
from my-fruition :
Happy belated birthday, Jamie! I'm sorry I missed it! Hope you got to celebrate in a special way :)
from my-fruition :
So glad you're sticking around! I can't beleive your Tyra has started kindergarten! She has grown up so much! I bet your ring is just beautiful! White gold is my fav too :)
from scrappergirl :
Happy first day of school (and 4th day of school to the big kids)! And, that picture of TJ from the mystery film...gorgeous! He made me smile!
from scrappergirl :
First of all...that sucks! What is a diary if not a place to write your uncensored feelings??? Second of all, I have been thinking of you all week, wishing you strength as you went through your deposition and drawing on your past strength as I sat in a hospital room seeing my husband hooked up to machines with the diagnosis of "we have no idea what is wrong." Lastly, please keep in touch now more than ever. I know you and I use the diaries to communicate. I need occasional updates from you!!! Love you tons and sending you good thoughts daily!
from my-fruition :
Thoughts and prayers right with you, Jamie. I can't imagine just how hard and painful it must be for you to have to go through all those details. I am so darn proud of how you have come through so much. Love you lots!
from scrappergirl :
Thank you. I didn't check in early enough, but I hope all went well with the depo.
from my-fruition :
Thoughts and prayers are with you, Jamie. If my arms could streatch that far, I'd hug you so much. xx
from my-fruition :
Hehe I found mom on roof through her banner too! I am slowly working my way through her entries - I love her writing! Glad you found someone to relate to :)
from scrappergirl :
Love your new layout! Thanks for the message. Yeah, you're getting one side, however, that's why I put *her* words in, too. You know me, 4 months later I wouldn't be so indignant if I hadn't been an innocent victim. This all happened the same day as the stuff in MTO. Crazy, eh? My karma was waaaaayyyy off that day! LOL
from my-fruition :
I'm lovin' being able to look at all those smilin faces on your new layout!
from jensanimals :
What a hottie.. I could totally start watching baseball! Thanks for showing me what(who) I have been missing.
from jensanimals :
Glad you got to feeling better and how sweet of Brad and Mom to help you out. Must be migraine week. I have had the worst one of my life for 4 days now. I woke up ok today, but we shall see here in a little while. My house is a disaster because I haven't been able to do anything. And noone else will lift a finger.
from faith4x4 :
Hugs to you my dear friend...
from my-fruition :
I finally got around to checking out your pics at flickr - The kids are really growing up! TJ's stone is perfect, Jamie. The tigger and the cross...Just perfect.
from my-fruition :
I hope the field trip is lots of fun and all the little kids don't get to ya! LOL
from scrappergirl :
I hate putting away the laundry, too. I either do it right away, or it never gets done until I need the baskets again. Even then, it will go to the couch, then back to the basket with the new clean laundry. LOL
from my-fruition :
Happy Birthday to Brad!
from my-fruition :
Keeping you in my prayers, Jamie! Make sure you see your Dr asap.
from chickpea981 :
That has to be terrifying. IM sorry lady. GO get checked out immediately!
from chickpea981 :

from chickpea981 :
I just wanted to drop a note and say that I'm really glad to see you turning around and pulling yourself together. It's a very hard thing to do, but you are doing so well! Sending you a few hugs. :)
from scrappergirl :
When you're ready to splurge on charms, let me know. I know a great local vendor (well, local here) who sells them 6/$10. :)
from scrappergirl :
Happy Mother's Day, Jamie. Every day, but especially today, my thoughts are with you. You are an incredible mom.
from my-fruition :
Happy Mums Day to you, Jamie!

Those Ex's sure are pains in the asses! Glad that all is well other than that though. Love ya.
from scrappergirl :
Thanks for the note, Jamie. Coming from you, who can definitely understand where my thoughts and feeling were coming from, it meant a lot! *HUGS* back at 'ya!
from frogmom :
SOunds like you guys had a blast! I like to play blackjack, but 3 card poker is my fav. New ride sounds sweet, I am also a dodge owner!
from my-fruition :
I've got a new home if you want to join me :) Love ya as always Sarah
from jensanimals :
Glad you all had such a good time. LMAO, at the baby wipes analogy. Where has a mothers level of eroticsm(is that a word?) gone? lol

from jensanimals :
Time may heal wounds, but there is no set time that it will take for you to start feeling better. Especially with the holidays around the corner. My sister said this is the hardest time of the year for her. Her boy has been gone for 3 years this week. Aww.. How sweet and grown up of your daughter to come in and tell you that.
from jensanimals :
I am so sorry to hear about TJ. I feel so bad that I was not able to offer my condolences sooner.I am just now getting caught up with everyone.I will keep your family in my thoughts.

from purex :
You & your mom both sound very strong. Not to go all religious on you, but you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you. Never lose faith - happy holidays to you and your loved ones.

from hockeyman75 :
Jamie, the road has been a little bumpylately. I want to thank you for trying your best on discussing the differences rather than letting them bottle and letting the situation get larger than it really has to. I love you so much. I apologize for any hurt, anger, or getting upset that I may have caused. I don't like it when I cause you those emotions. I want to say I am sorry one more time. I love you sooo much and need you sooo badly.
from girlygirl83 :
Hey, It sounds like you and him are both really happy! I'm glad!

I have a reason tobelive that you're baby TJ has a chance at getting better...... I was told that I'd never sit up walk or talk.... and I'm doing it. I think it might take time. I don't mean to be rude or anything when I say that. I added you to my AIM. I hope that things are looking up .. as they seem to be doing!
from juniperhexum :
GIRL! Get a police escort to go with you and get your belongings. He CANNOT prevent you from doing that and he especially cannot prevent you from gathering medical supplies. That's borderline child endangermeant! Seriously woman, get yourself an escrot and fuck, take Brad if you need to to get your stuff out of there. It's clearly not your home anymore and you have every right in the world to get your belongings. He can kiss your ass. Damnit he infuriates me! I want to kick his ass from here to fucking Texas!
from chickpea981 :

from notworthynow :
It is not your fault that TJ got sick, If you ever need proof of that, why would he fight so hard to stay with the people who killed him. I don't believe it and niether should you.
from notworthynow :
I'm sorry for what i've done, but you werent as innocent as these people think you are. You were ceating on me and having sex with another man for a long time. Diaryland should tell the whole truth. My diary does. I do still love you even after all of this. Your husband.

Thanks for the note and the compliments therein. I'm glad you find my diary as an interesting read. Quite a few Filipino women wind up as nurses as the medical field is a popular professional choice within my culture so I'm not surprised you may have wound up with one. It's cool you wound up with a Filipino nurse especially with the fact that she sharing our culture and language with you. I admire you ability to cope with the more difficult aspects of raising a family. I wish you all the best. I saw your pictures btw. You have a beautiful family, especially the mom of the house. Further proof to my theory that all the intellegent, beautiful women ate taken... ;)

9/22: I just read your 'My History' linked bit (as I'm behind on quite a few journals) and I must say your openness and honesty is amazing. I haven't been able to come to grips with all of my past but you seem to be moving forward with your future well. And your children? Can we say Gorgeous?!?!

GWTW has a hallowed place on my bookshelf and like you, I never tire of readin' it. Now you've put me in the mood to watch the film again. If any more pop into my head, I'll be sure to let you know. Hehe. :)

Excellent suggestion about the erotic shower and sensual soaps! I wonder though, if this fella is the type to be able to deliver it without givin' offense. He seems to be a few beats slow on the uptake. Anybody who's worried about eatin' too much toothpaste and who needs to find out first hand [literally] how powerful a current is runnin' through an electrified fence, probably lacks finesse. Warmest regards, Xtine P.S.: the entry you wrote about your anniversary really touched my heart. The emotional territory you describe is achingly familiar. Please remember to trust in the unexpected. Last year I celebrated a weddin' anniversary that was one of the saddest, most relentlessly painful days of my life. I was ready to take the pipe, but this year, on the very same date, I found myself livin' in a world transformed. One just never knows ...

I wish I had the words to say. I can't pretend I do. I can only reach out and remind you how loved you are. Never forget I'm here.

hi jamie - i am just now reading your recent entries and i just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are w/ your family right now. i have had my little one in the hospital too as you know, so i know how you feel. :( i can only imagine how hard it must be right now at home w/ tj in the hospital. just hang in there, and keep your faith... also, thank you for your nice note last week. i'm sorry i never w/b until just now... it hasn't been the greatest here. i wanted to tell you i go to the dr this morning for PPD and to get on medication for it. i feel relieved but i am nervous too. :( i had a good weekend because my husband was home, so now i feel silly for last week... but i know i will feel the same way this week too. :( i'm sorry we're both having so many struggles right now. if you ever want to talk, go to my diary and get my email addy okay? oh and hey, i didn't realize you lived in vt until reading some of your recent entries. my sister in law lives just outside burlington. :) again, take care, keep your faith, and try to be positive. i will be checking in on you this week!!!!

hi! thanks for the message. you are on my favorites list, but i am having trouble reading your entries. your navigate menu shows up right on top of your entry and i have trouble seeing the entry. :( do you know why? i have so many questions for you. we didnt' almost lose our son, but my youngest is 6 mos old now... when he was 2 mos old he had to have stomach surgery and it scared the heck out of us. :( were you born in 76 too? :) but, i put you back on my list and will see if i can read it today. i hope so. i look forward to getting to know you better and reading more from you! i'm glad you liked my diary too. i need to write today! :O
