I'm like you, I usually cook from scratch instead of using prepared foods. With very few exceptions, I'd rather not eat cake than eat one from a packaged mix. And while I agree with sw-iowa about Heath bars (very, very good!), I have to disagree about Cool Whip. Even the kind that actually has some dairy products in it tastes artificial to me.

Cool Whip= light fluffy sweet clouds of goodness that goes on top of lots of things. In particular pumpkin pie which I had today for thanksgiving. YUMMY. Heath bars are one of my favorite candy bars. They are english toffee covered in milk chocolate. Damn't I'm on a diet and you made me HUNGRY... LOL thanks a lot. ;-)

You're country sounds as screwed up as our. No priorities at all I guess. I have a chair at my sis's I bought for her because I always put the kids in the stinky chair (which is what I call it) they seem to get a kick out of it. But it does do the trick normally. Sometimes a spanking is in order but not often like you said. You are a great mom. You really impress me with some of the things you do.

Sorry all of you got sicky. I do believe that is one of the big problems of this age is the antibacterial soaps and cleaners and surfaces and such. Some day we will have resistance to nothing. I agree with the online chat business. Like -- if you met me, and you said something funny at my expense, I'd say, "jerk!" If I were to do that in messenger, I might get put on ignore. Also, a long time ago, I had this internet friend named Naomi. I thought we were good friends, but one day, out of nowhere -- she told me that she never really liked me at all. I'm still upset over that -- three years later. Online friendships are sometimes touch-and-go -- but I value them nonetheless.
