Are you still here?
from artofliving :
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!! Oh-My-God!! You totally win the contest!! You have my life-long allegiance!! you're so awesome!!
from artofliving :
thanks so much for being proud of me!! it was rough but I think you're right, it's worth it. Job hunting sucks, though and I really wish this wouldn't have happened in the middle of a semester!! I'll be ok...you're the cat's meow.
from artofliving :
do you think that I should tell her that I'm not resigning and then inform her that I'll be discussing this with the ceo, or should I jsut go in there and talk to the guy without her knowing? and what exactly do i tell her tomorrow? "no, i'm not going to be forced into resigning this position which has never been problematic before." And then what?
from artofliving :
you are so sweet!! thank you so much! i was a little leary about posting it because if someone who reads thinks they MIGHT know me...now they know. hehehe! so much for keeping secrets!
from artofliving :
thank you so much baby!!! i did the sohcahtoa thing today and i still feel badly about the test. trig is such a motherfucker. I'm in a terrible mood but thanks for being so awesome to me all the time.
from clarity25 :
Thank you so much for the compliment on my drawing! also, thanks for the note you left earlier commenting on my present-moment entry. I started reading your diary and I'm going to make my way through your archive now because I'm already hooked. By the way, I remember the cabbage patch kid craze of the 80's. I'll never forget unwrapping that box and looking at that ugly doll. I was filled with such joy at that moment, I can't remember why.. :)
from artofliving :
Thank you so much for being kind. There are times when you feel compelled to act make a decision that goes against everything you've previously decided. It was a very hard thing to do because I almost felt like I was backsliding for a second but I'd always wonder if I would have cut it off right then. I don't want to leave this with any questions.
from artofliving :
bravo on the entry, love!! i'm SO glad you had a good time! you really deserved it, honey! gorgeous pictures, too! it gave me something to dream about here at work. you're the awesome-ist!!
from starflowr96 :
Lol, hey, go for it. Maybe we can revolutionize the writing industry. (Or maybe not, but it's fun to try anyway!)
from starflowr96 :
Hey, thanks. I need it!!
from starflowr96 :
Hey, I love the new layout! (And I totally know what you mean about the picture-perfect house when company comes and "editing" the hubby's school papers...I do the same myself!!!)
from caela :
Heya...I love the new page layout, it's very nice! But just in case you didn't notice, I just wanted to point out that your links at the bottom for your last five entries seem to be the same colour as the background so you can't see them. But then again, I am a freak who uses Firefox, so if it looks alright in IE or Netscape don't worry about it. Anyway, that WAS a nice entry. I'm glad you had a good weekend. :)
from artofliving :
p.s. i envy the closeness that you and B share. I know exactly what you mean when he says we need to watch our money. Just last weekend as a matter of fact, ddot and i were discussing money and he told me that we havent been doing too good of a job with budgeting so we need to work on that. The next night, he left to "buy me a present". "my" present was a $200 box of football cards. Just so ya know, i do not collect football cards...this kinda thing happens all the time.
from artofliving :
really??! god! that makes me feel so much better!! i was really beginning to think that i was one of "those" girls, ya know? jee whiz. drop me an e-mail and gimme the scoop! we'll compare notes!! [email protected]
from artofliving :
no!! i really like it! fixing your page is tough work!!
from artofliving :
ohhh!! honey!! it looks BEAUTIFUL!!
from artofliving :
omigod!!!!!! ddot and i watch jay leno before going to sleep every night also!! and it's so weird but one of my favorite things to do with him is grocery shopping! unfortunately we're more your lazy coupon people. if they have one on the shelf or something we'll take it but we usually forget about it by check-out time. how odd!!
from artofliving :
my parents started their own bath and body business a few years ago. they have since been held captive 24/7 by scented oils and soap molds. they thought that within a year or two they would quit their 9-5 jobs and do soap all the time but it didnt work that way and now they work 9-5 at their real jobs and come home and make soap until midnight. employees suck, also. i'm sure this wont happen to you but i thought i'd jsut share what i know about it. p.s. my brother lives in l.a. so i'll make him go to your store and spend all of his hard-earned-rock-star money on your stuff!! let me know how it goes
from artofliving :
darling!! that story about the thong was awesome!!! i have a similar one that i shall relate when i have more time. do you really think the neighbors didn't notice?
from artofliving :
i'm flattered that you invinted me to join your ring! i did! Thank you so much!
from artofliving :
the beauty of heartbreak lies in the inspiration that it spurs. your comtemplation of your loss was beautiful and your acceptance of it as well. sometimes, it's a little hard to accept that we have changed as a person because we may be stuck on how happy the memories of a certain time were. i have been where you are. certain blocks of time become locked. access is denied because of all the huge ties that you have to EVERYTHING with that person. it seems you have handled the entire ordeal very well, better than most could. you kick ass
from artofliving :
yes honey...that is very very cool. congrats on your new found freedom-of-self. =) i am envious
from ashtraygurl :
i don't know if i qualify for your 'real women' diary ring, seeing as i write poetry only, but i'd like to. i really enjoyed reading your diary, btw.
from starflowr96 :
Thank you for the wonderful note! I think it's something I will probably always be going over and over in my head, but I would much rather stay home with my son than go out and get a job and send him to daycare, so for that I must be thankful!
from starflowr96 :
Thanks for the note! I immediately joined your diaryring...it's nice to "fit in" somewhere, heh!!
from stumblebee :
Oh my gosh, how scary. I know you must have been through a lot this week, and I hope you will be able to get some peace. No one should have to go through something like that. I hope B is feeling better.
from mimilles :
I am totally against legalizing gay marriage also... that's very good of you to speak ur mind...
from krugerpak007 :
She sounds too cute for words... Kathy
from krugerpak007 :
I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather. Best wishes, Kathy
from stumblebee :
I'm so sorry. Take care of yourself.
from krugerpak007 :
Good luck with WW! Let me know how it goes...xoxo Kathy
from krugerpak007 :
:-)I loved that rat entry.. xox Kathy
from heidihoe85 :
AHHH! I just had to comment on your most recent post (Dec 12 or so) about your "annoying habits": When my sister lived here at the house, she would do the SAME EXACT THING with her hair! Only, not only would she stick it to the wall, she'd leave it there! Grrrr... but I always think of it when I'm in the shower and even I do it now! The funniest thing was staying over at her house while she was on vacation... I got in to take a shower in her bathroom and VOILA! It was a hair mural... ha ha
from stumblebee :
Thanks for the note. I always feel better when I know I'm not the only one stuff is happening to. I hope your husband is okay! I know that was scary.
from heidihoe85 :
I feel you on the "being friends with guys" thing! I tend to have more to talk about with men since a lot of women I know are self-involved and real girlie-girls... Although there are the closeminded folks who assume that a girl who hangs with all guys is a slut, I like the feeling of knowing that all these guys are like my brothers and will protect me... plus, I help them understand women. :)
