I still love your writing. It is so...so...gutsy. So transparent. You say things that I feel so often. There are times that I feel almost schizophrenic in my walk with God. It seems like I just can't get it right.

Hey Anj, it's about 9:30 my time, Friday night. (Still not sure if that means 11:30 or 12:30 your time.) Turned out that my phone wasn't receiving a charge all this time. It's charging now, though. The problem is that I have to keep at a certain angle, otherwise the plug just slips out of the mini-USB port. Like I said, they couldn't have made it more user-unfriendly had they tried. Anyhoo, I'm gonna step out and come back within the hour. Maybe if you're still up we can chat.

I was thrilled to see that you had updated, but your entry seemed a little bit uncharacteristic of you. The poetic turn of phrase was no less brilliant, and it was stylistically akin to your other writings, but the thematic content was much different. One wonders what to make of it.

I think you're right Anj about God's healing, and I do need faith. Maybe it is an obstacle when I think of it as a mental health issue. Thank you for sharing the stuggle-side of Christianity, too. It's important to be reminded that God is there in the dark times. I am caregiver for my mom & sometimes I get really frustrated (she's deaf, so communication's pretty exhausting) and do the right thing (like you said about "good deed"), but with the wrong heart. Thanks for the gentle salve of your words.
