from surfking :
Hey friend, I hope you are well! I am moving to Hong Kong soon with my girlfriend!
from surfking :
Sorry I haven't signed onto diaryland in a minute. I hope you are well though! I am teaching in Korea but I finish in about two months. I plan on moving to Japan next, I should start looking for jobs soon. What have you been doing?
from surfking :
We're both teachers now? The difference though is I'm not qualified at all, the only requirement was to be a foreigner.
from surfking :
I'm glad to see you still update, even if it is once every five years, and I'm glad to hear things are good overall. I hope this message finds you! Be easy.
from surfking :
i remember a time when i'd read your entries and struggle, now i feel like my writing emulates yours. it's good to know you're still kicking.
from illiac :
i signed into this account after several years just to tell you that i understand the "grown-up switch" thing completely. in less than a month i will be 33 and i'm still waiting to flip it. every week i seem to daydream about a different escape plan. i should draw one up in crayon and graph paper just to complete the effect.
from surfking :
hello! i thought it be a good idea to leave a message for no good reason other than i use to do it back in the days...
from orangepeeler :
This entry reminded me of my own Hotel California moment while traveling--surrounded by art school kids on a bus from the airport through the suburbs of Paris, with the driver tapping on his wheel with a pencil, and me thinking that this was the longest song in the world.
from pip :
thank you, darling! i hope you are well!!
from pip :
hey you<3
from surfking :
the journalism boy with the dvd player, his note said "your gorgeous"?...a conjunction is needed there (you're), they'll give any doctors these days? i'll probably get one for guitar...some day, they might be crazy enough to do it too!
from jinkymarvels :
hopscotch, hello! i just noticed on your profile that you listed being jealous of buffalo? is this serious or sarcastic? i will appreciate either. hope everything is swell where you are! xo j
from operastar :
its funny that you equated me with a librarian because my husband always tells me i look like one when i wear my glasses and because i think librarians (in theory, not the ones i've ever seen) are cool and sexy.
from pip :
kifaroonisweetybabycakes, i miss you so. i was just thinking about you really hard yesterday (10/8/06), and now youve updated and i think its a sign from above. but then signmyguestbook wouldnt work for me and i had to leave a note that youll probably never check for. Arr! .. anyway, F O U R Y E A R S ! madeline also turned four on the 5th. four freakin' years.
from nyquilgirl :
hello?! ohhhhxo
from pumpkinhouse :
I love the kind of "awake" that you just decribed in your entry (8/18/04)...and I love the way you word yourself. :)
from pumpkinhouse :
For some reason the phrase "white room with no windows" brings to mind some nameless generic horror movie that I saw many years ago. Creepy. Belated congratulations on the job, money is somehow always better than time when the clock is running.
from sanetwin :
When I first started writing my diary, gah over a year ago, it wasn't very good. Not that it's fabulous now, but my writing got better. Don't be emberrassed just to really open up. You'll get more comfortable and better at it :).
from sanetwin :
Congrats on the job :)
from likeaforest :
i think i will always have a great fondness for ohio. i passed through it many times on the way from st. louis to massachusetts (or mass to st. louis). often my mum accompanied me on these trips, and the only thing we could agree to listen to(strangely enough) was blondie and abba. now whenever i hear "dancing queen" i think of cows and barns and rolling hills. odd, huh?
from operastar :
i've taken over the diary "fword". it's a collaborative website serving the purpose of getting feminist ideas, poems, quotes, and essays out into a public forum. please send any feminist related contributions to [email protected]
from puellarina :
I loved your diary before but it just keeps getting better. About walking with the anorexic was wonderful. thanks for sharing. (formerly fiddledeedum)
from nyquilgirl :
Ack! I need your email so I can let you have the password. If you can email me at: [email protected] I will get you one. So sorry!
from frenchpress :
~*i would walk with you*~
from sunkenships :
you are the best. just the other day i had thought of sending you a note but couldn't think of much to say. i am planning to go to philadelphia. maybe i can meet you there. one day, one day...
from redgirl1221 :
why are you sorry?
from operastar :
i enjoy your diary. your life seems so opposite of mine (southern perhaps) yet the struggles and doubts are similar. i'll continue to read. your work is great.
from wash-out :
I really enjoy your writing &I thank you adding me to your favorites list. ♥
from parlance :
Most people don't enjoy exam environments. I must confess that I do.
from literatura :
I Still have a Christmas gift for you, staring at me from between the mountains of clothes, books, and smelly things on my floor.
from woodenstars :
You should definitly get involved with a theatre company in your town. What kind of technical theatre do you do the most?
from woodenstars :
That was one of the most beautiful things I can remember hearing from anyone. But I understand so completely. Theatre is the force that wakes me up in the morning and gets me through the days and weeks in between my next shows. May ask what your name is? -Jessica
from likeaforest :
!!! as if i wasn't jealous enough already! a lovely new england fall, o my. the white home looks like a haunted old farm house, and even if it's not, well, it's a nice thought.
from frenchpress :
thanks for the note the other day, it could not have come at a better time ;) xo~frenchpress
from likeaforest :
yes, getting to know a new city is fun! although it really feels a bit odd, like...didn't i just do this a few months ago? but perhaps i shouldn't complain; so far sacramento's pretty nice. you live in vermont, don't you? (or at least, that's the impression got from various entries.) just the thought makes me terribly jealous.
from kat108 :
your cool! Can you check out mine!? plz?
from rainman73 :
Hey, how ya doing ? ! Just thought Id let you know about this nifty site Ive come across for fans like me and you of Stevie Wonder. You get points for stuff that you do like requesting songs on the radio, doing quizzes and polls. You get to trade these points in for cool things like posters, cds and other swag. If you fancy it head over to http://i-squad.net/motown/StevieWonder.html It tells you all about the Conception Stevie Wonder tribute album that comes out on 18th March as well. Theres loads of other artists that they do e teams for too, check em out at http://www.i-squad.com

from surfking :

from slowed-air :
Anxiously awaiting your small-sized package. Mine should be there any day now. Maybe it's arriving as I speak. lov.
from pip :

from inthe1920s :

from illiac :
