I fully agree with the Yay Obama! Boo California! feeling right now. I'm really disappointed in my state. We're constantly spouting off on how progressive and fabulous we are - and then Prop 8 gets passed and throws us back into the dark ages.

oh my goodness, thank you! i would be glad to show you this piece when it's finished. i know not to take their criticism overwhelmingly seriously, but it being one of the only instances of interaction with people i have at school is grisly. i refuse to let it get me down. and your advice is very very welcome ^-^ i'm so used to being the giver of advice that when i ask my friends for some, they panic.
