from yamakingj :
Yeah, I'm into Tomahawk and Peeping Tom. I'm not sure about Lovage. The album he did that was all vocal/beatbox type stuff... was that under a band name, or was it just released as Mike Patton? I really love that experimental stuff.
from yamakingj :
If you do not love Mike Patton, you simply have not tasted the finest fruit of the eighties. I can't claim to be quite the fan you are, but Mike changed the way I listen to music. Thanks for giving credit where it is due.
from edgarfrog :
Storm's a brewin' over at edgarfrog.diaryland.com
from his-holiness :
So there's finally a date, eh? Alright. Adolpho? I had been wondering.
from punk-loser :
i'm sorry, i barely ever check my diaryland page anymore. but nope i don't live there anymore sadly. email me at [email protected] and i'll give you my new address
from inkedgal :
i'm still working on some things in my writing. i'll unlock it when i figure things out. promise. -jdb
from inkedgal :
glad you're in love and things rock but um... nevermind.
from afiforme :
hi. i found your diary searching diaryland. cool diary! i followed your link to edgarfrog's diary. that's so sad what happened to him.
from musicnut :
FNM's version of "Easy" is in a Levi's commercial.
from f-i-n :
hihihi
from punk-loser :
that woulda been pretty awesome if you did leave it taped to my door. it would be a welcome change to the constant threats of me being evicted for noise complaints i was getting lastweek. but anyway, thanks for not forgetting, and since you're back in vegas maybe i can finally take you up on that drink offer from so long ago. peace outpost.
from bubaloo :
You did? Why?
from monkey-drunk :
i DID make a profile but for some reason it's not showing up. that makes me saaaaddd.
from musicnut :
Those pics are really cool in your diary, but you know that. :P
from monkey-drunk :
Hey, i just managed to get tickets for the Fantomas show here in London. There were only 6 left! I nearly peed myself, i'd die if i didn't go. Hope Mr Blue is ok! Take care. Kirsty
from musicnut :
I live in philly. I missed the philly show.
from punk-loser :
yeah the double down is pretty sweet. been there a couple times and won 250 on video black jack. mail the disc to the following address. Chris Bollweg 5292 s. maryland pkwy apt. 104 las vegas, NV 89119. thanks a mil ^^
from musicnut :
I didn't go. I had a tough choice. There were 3 shows that I wanted to go to that night. I know I suck.
from edgarfrog :
Your profile says that I am "gone, but not forgotten"......As you will see by my diary though, it is quite the contrary. I am all but gone, yet rather forgotten anyhow. Probably because I only update my diary maybe once a month. But I still update.
from underwhelm :
i heard the news right when it broke, which was sometime around one this morning. i havent been able to sleep and ive been crying on and off ever since.
from his-holiness :
RE: Fantomas, Fuckin' A... RE: The Fiend's Club... Oh Shit... I done did fucked that shit up... will fix asap... Smooches
from his-holiness :
*speechless*
from bonnylisbon :
That bush flash thing at your diary really just made me want to shoot myself in the fucking face.
from twodesigns :
Uuuhh... I never worked MySpace. If you could configure the template so it would work for MySpace and I could make a basic template OR you could kinda tell me how MySpace works and I'll try to make the template.
from twodesigns :
Wow, you still have that template of mine up. I would of thought that you'd get a new one by now!. =)
from obviousman03 :
got tired of notes. wrote you an email instead.
from obviousman03 :
profile edited. and yes, im from sd. north park area. yourself?
from obviousman03 :
i haven't edited my profile in well over a year....only been obsessed with general patton for the last 8 months or so (when i was introduced to Mr.Bungle). you live in san diego??
from musicnut :
This is very upsetting.
from obviousman03 :
although i hardly write about it, im about as obsessed as you when it comes to music. oh, and mike patton is my god too. (said while listening to a bootleg live Mr. Bungle cd)
from his-holiness :
Got the number, deleted it from my notes. Trying to find you on myspace now-K
from his-holiness :
Faith, my dear... just cut & paste... & call... I don't have your new number... April ain't gettin' any further away. Love ya-K

from musicnut :
Dooooood! You're getting married? WHY?!?!?! Haha. Joking. Congratulations ma'am! How do you find out how people find you page? Do you have to pay for it?
from euphoria21 :
CONGRATS!!!!!!!! I want to wish you the best of luck, you deserve it! Hope all goes well with him, and he better keep treating you like a princess :) No joke.
from musicnut :
No, not going out that way. I was wondering if you got into Patton because you're in the area, or if you moved out there because you wanted to be around that scene. But I guess it's still kinda far from you.
from musicnut :
Hey, you have an ad up there ^. How far is San Diego from San Fran?
from livescollide :
DUKE'S MOVING IN??? I'll be over tonight to get my stuff out of there. Do you mind if I keep the handcuffs and the videos we made?
from euphoria21 :
Oh shit! Congrats hun...good luck with reminding him to put the toilet seat down...
from santoshchase :
A Mike Patton devoted diary? Imagine my happiness when I saw that banner.
from musicnut :
I've never read that before.
from livescollide :
Hey, sorry I didn't call. Read my diary for explanation. Scariest damn time of my life. I couldn't help but notice the title of one of your diary pages was something about loving Midwest boys. I'm from Nebraska, how much more Midwestern can you get. I think I'm coming to San Diego Thursday, we should hook up. I know you're dating, but hey, I'm from a different area code altogether.
from wilberteets :
Your layout looks great!! Very nice.
from euphoria21 :
Don't mean to crush you but I hadn't stayed up on all the Mike Patton stuff(funny how yet we have very similar tastes in music), but if it helps any...I have been meaning to listening up on his stuff because you rave about it so much and I've seen that 99% of your notes are people either agreeing with you on things of Mike and I want to know what the hype is about. I was a big Faith No More fan, and I know he has a great voice. Ironically enough yesterday I reread the "eating our young" story...twice. So yeah, I gotta try at least, I know I'll enjoy it. Sorry this was so long..
from euphoria21 :
Don't know if you've heard but in Bjork's upcoming album she has a song with Mike Patton in it, so go check it out, I know you wil anyways. Just looking out for you hun...
from girlygirl83 :
Hey I hope that you don't mind that I added you to my favorites. I found you through musicnut. Your diary seems good!
from cchrista :
meh, whatever floats yr boat. blink182 is cool, i dont care if you dont like them.
from baby2pimp :
Mom can you tell me how to put my diaryrings back on my diary??Im a retard and I can't figure out how to do it.
from musicnut :
I did see it. Very cool. I have never seen those pictures before. They look recent. I'm still waiting for that movie to come out. I check the site every once in a while.
from bra2002 :
Hey thanks for stopping oiver. I read "A Clockwork Ornage" when I was in high school as well, and I wasn't fortunate enough to have a glossary. It took me a while to pick up the slang as I went, but it was rewarding nonetheless. I will definitely check it out, I love Anthony Burgess!
from candoor :
your banner snagged me again and then I realized I've been here before cuz we share many of the same favorites and a love/addiction for music and romance and odds and ends... good luck with your heart :)
from d8zed-ezines :
One little problem with your template, where it says <IMG SRC="....mpp.JPG"> change it to <body background="....mpp.JPG"> and the background should show up correctly =)
from dizzylexia :
no worries, chicka. it's all good. =)
from wngsparadise :
This is Lauren, from D8zed Designs. I am getting a little delayed on your template. Please excuse me, but life is being a bitch, and things aren't going well. But I promise you, you will get your layout. =)
from livescollide :
Hey, sorry about last night. Check your box (hehe) for a deeper apology and explanation. Thanks though for leaving me like twelve notes in succession. Now I look popular and the other women will be jealous. Did you get the pics?
from livescollide :
IT'S NOT BAD TO TALK TO YOUNGER MEN!!! BUT LIMIT YOURSELF TO ONE (ME, ME, ME, ME, ME) AND JUST FLOW WITH IT. SMOOCHES AND A WHOLE LOT MORE ;)
from livescollide :
I'M ON MY WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from livescollide :
SO I WAS TRYING TO RECREATE OUR FIRST NIGHT TOGETHER BY HAVING MY BROTHER SLAM A FOURTEEN-INCH DILDO INTO MY ASS. SADLY, IT JUST WASN'T THE SAME. HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU FOR AWHILE. YOU'RE PROBABLY BUSY WITH YOU BOY TOY. I WISH I HAD A BOY TOY...
from d8zed-ezines :
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I am SO sorry!! I've been so caught up in everything else + life, that I forgot. Well have no fear, school is done, and I'll have it for you, no later than friday. Again, I apologize!
from edgarfrog :
You've bought Whiskey For Kids merchandise, as well as buying me banner views. That still gives you a gold star in my book. Even though now I have many other women clamoring for my penis.
from unwittingly :
I saw your banner ad so I wanted to drop in and say that I met Mike Patton a couple years ago. He dropped in after a Tomahawk show to see a small concert my friends put together. He just plopped himself down right next to me and started talking about the music, the drummer, etc. Totally nice guy. Anyway, I just wanted to rub that in you face for some reason. Bye, stranger!
from his-holiness :
Heh...Actually it came out of a conversation Camilla & I were having, with her 3,000 miles away I wanted to remind her what was waiting. I'm an evil mother-fucker. Hope you're well-K
from punk-loser :
your diary is a million times better looking, bravo... i know you're not looking for my approval, but it is. if you ever want something designed, or anything cleaned up, give me a holler
from livescollide :
hey sweet thang, I'll be in town till the first week of August. I'm going to Lake Havasu this weekend, but I'll probably come down to San Diego in a week or so. Just to beat the shit out of your little boy toy. Did I tell you I'm 21 also? But that's been for like five months. So that other guy is WAY immature for you. My date with baby2pimp went well by the way. She said something about an open-minded mom who may want to get in on a 3-way...
from lil-twinks :
All i am gonna say is you go girl, gettin urself a toyboy. don't worry about what anyone else thinks aslong as you have fun :D
from livescollide :
Hey my favorite little whore. You don't call, you don't write. I'm beginning to think this relationship is only about sex. Wait...that's fucking awesome!!! Just letting you know I'm not dead. Gotta go. Got a hot date with some little piece of arse from San Diego named baby2pimp I met online. Stay in touch. We'll go out for drinks while I'm here. Or at least have sex.
from celtickatt :
Found you through your banner and have only had time to read about 1 1/2 entries, but you seem like you might really like the band CKY. (Not that you DO like them, but since you're into tunes so much and like Mike Patton, etc., you might check them out.)
from banefulvenus :
Love your site!! :)
from earthchild44 :
Sadly, I've never heard any Fantomas! And there's no excuse for it. I got some Secret Chiefs, Tomahawk, Bungle, and most of the Faith No More albums. I'm quite fond of Patton myself. I didn't know he was in a movie, I'll have to check that out. Thanx chica!
from suprgoddess :
gosh...i'm thinking i'd really love to get a "jak" cd! can ya gimme the jist? thx! :P kudo's to mid-thirties mommies. we rock. :o)~~~
from euphoria21 :
Micheal Moore is a genious and Bowling For Columbine made me cry like9 times...unbelieveable
from euphoria21 :
I guess I'm gonna say what I've read everyone else has already, at one point or another told you...your taste in music/movies kicks ass!!! We have very similar taste honey..I've added you as a favorite because I've spent half the day reading your diary today. Take care, xoxoxo
from livescollide :
O.A.R. is a great band that I just got turned on to this semester. They are an amalgam of accoustic, kind of reggae, and a lot of other shit. Check out their song, "Crazy Game of Poker." Also try "Hold On True."
from livescollide :
Hey you obsessive little bitch!! Sorry, I just saw your comment that you wanted to be Edgarfrog's sex slave and thought that maybe if I talked dirty to you you'd become my little masochistic whore. It was worth a shot. Know what else is worth a shot? Reading my diary. Unlike Edgar-what's-his-name, I'll let you be the dirty little girl you've always wanted to be. Thank you. God bless.
from punk-loser :
didn't i send you my adress? i thought i e-mailed it to you a month ago, i'll resend it just in case so i don't feel like an ass... well, a complete one.
from his-holiness :
Dude, shut the fuck up. That is such a cute picture of you. Of course, I think I look like ass in it, so...-D
from his-holiness :
Hey, I've been bouncing around with VERY limited internet access, but I just checked my notes and saw your entry, and needed to drop you a line. I had a great time with you, and want to thank you so much for bringing me along on the adventure. You really are wonderful, and I look forward to the local's tour of SD in July-D
from ericboy :
To add to the Twilight Zone creepiness of our fated paths, I'm at Lestat's right now. I checked my e-mail and saw that I had five new notes on my diary, so I go to diaryland, and it says, "welcome, iluvtunes". I logged you off and read your note. It makes me glad to think that maybe I've helped to illustrate what you'd already felt, and if that helps you to look at yourself and those around with a more appreciative light, then it's definitely a good thing. Stay up!
from ericboy :
Thank God, so it's not just me. It gets hard, you know, trying to maintain composure in an environment that just seems electrically charged to test your patience. Glad to know that I don't suffer alone. Hang in there!
from his-holiness :
Without question I'm into Fantomas still. I'll call you after I get off work, or after I escape to the East Bay tonight. Have you heard Big Bill Broonzey? I'm really hoping I got the last name right, I borrowed the CD off my mom's ex-boyfriend, so I can't be certain. Anyway, good shit-D
from punk-loser :
nah, i have a vcr (ironically ones combined with my TV and the other's combined with my DVD player) send me an e-mail about it, because i know i'll forget on my own
from punk-loser :
that entry was actually about someone who decided to critique a banner of mine just out of nowhere for that manner, and took it entirely out of context. unfortunatly, my brand of humor isn't really for people who take everything too seriously.
from punk-loser :
actually i did notice, and yeah i did find it funny, and it ties into another funny anecdote that happened to me today... do you perchance have the first mr. bungle CD, not the self titled but the one they first released, "raging wrath of the easter bunny." i've been trying to scour through e-bay and obscure record shops for the past 2 years for it.
from cyb3r-punk :
that entry had nothing to do with you... it was about that leslieirene dipshit
from punk-loser :
the reason why that looks like a girl in the profile pic is because that's my girlfriend. i'm the one in the back... i know that's wierd for a profile pic putting a picture that's not really of just me, but i liked it. but really, those butterflies did make me want to throw up... the constant moving and bright colors didn't sit well with me and were giving me trails... one reason to not take acid... so seriously i did almost throw up. thanks for the interview by the way.
from d8zed-ezines :
Only since I am a nice gal, I will help you even though I am not doing customs anymore. I am only helping because, sorry to say, the template is not that appealing to the eye. =) Sorry - So send me some pics at [email protected] and I will get to you after I finished the 2 people that requested customs before.
from punk-loser :
my friend chimed in after i told him about the whole debacle last night... we thought it was hilarious that you got so bent out of shape over me insulting your layout. i tried being nice after that and that didn't work, so i figured fuck it, gloves are off. so my friend isn't evil, he, like myself, found the situation comical. if you read a few entries in my diary you'll understand what my views on people who flaunt that they cut are... like acuttersedge. i could be nicer when it comes to my criticism, but it's one of those things that severely pisses me off... severely. i can't stand people that flaunt about how they take a self destructive pattern out of a situation instead of being strong and working past your pain. anyone can do it, and i have no remorse for people who wont. color me an asshole guy with too much testosterone, i just view it as a fact of life. and i would go see fantomas and melt bannana because both bands are awesome, but alas, i wont because i have other things to attend to. none as fun, just other things, but thanks for the heads up on them being in town, that was civil. one thing i wonder though, how the fuck did you think that we were women?
from punk-loser :
and FYI... you seem to like all these great jazz players, but left out charels mingus... anyone worth their jazz salt knows that no one was as innovative or musically brilliant as mingus and introduced many forms of experimental and electronic tape loops to the modern music scene... if you really do like skinny puppy and ministry like your favorites claim to, i'd advise picking up a few of his essentials discs.
from punk-loser :
okay, first of all dumbass... you've really got to fianlly delve in and read a few things before trying to retort to someone's comment. for another thing, i tried being complimentary of your taste in music... obviously you're so fucking sore about me saying your diary is uglier than rosanne's brown eye that you can't recover from that blast to your HTML skills. also if you would have inspected either of our diaries, you would have understood that we're both male... and on top of that, you'd understand why i can't stand weak people that constantly bemoan their cheap existence, they're a drain on this world, and really if you want to die so bad, then just fucking die and save us the trouble... if you want to be a childish bitch cake about everything, then by all means, keep it up... it's not damaging me... it's obviously shattering your poor little world. i personally know how to take criticism and better myself through it... if you could listen to something your enemy says before actually attacking everything that seems like it could be derogatory to your person, maybe you'd learn a little something about yourself. so get off your fucking high school bullshit ride and act like the adult you claim to be. dumbass... and furthermore, i don't know how i feel about you likeing mr. bungle... it almost makes me feel cheap to know that someone as fucking uppity and unwilling to look farther than surface appearances listens to such a challenging and amazingly powerful band like them... and it also makes me sick to think you probably bought the mike patton/ dillinger escape plan EP simply because mike patton was on it, and probably having no prior knowledge of the technical brilliance that is dillinger escape plan. it's people like you that ruin cool shit for guys like me.
from valhala :
Great you'll be in my backyard and after your lame ass concert and were tanked the shit kicking begins. I'll wear a sign for you as well. I cringe at what you got yourself into, if you only knew.
from valhala :
Thanks for the childish banter as I expected none the less. Like I said you don't like the critisism then lock the diary.
from valhala :
It's hilarious to me that you have the actual audacity to slam punk_loser. Did mummy and daddy raise you under there protective wing sheilding you from life and criticism. It amazes me that you actually think you have taken the higher road when all you have done is attacked someone just for disagreeing with your gay ass butterfly cursor. You must not listen to the music or read the books you claim to love or else you would have just agreed to disagree. Did it really make you feel better to chastise someone for something so insignificant. But your just one of those San Diego fucks without an itelligent thought for themselves. To much sun on the brain I guess. Plainly copying shit of the intenet is your forte. Do me a favor as well, take the Pistols, Ramones and Clash off your profile cause it is obvious you have really never understood them, you were just one of the masses who thought teenage angst fit your clothing style for the time. I can understand the fact you like dumb whinny fucks like the milkmen and vandals cause they symbolized everything that went wrong with punk but how would you know you probably picked them up at your last trip to Hot Topic. And I laugh heartily at the fact that you seemed to have read all those authors and understand all those bands you claim to love. Your easier to read than a Curious George installment. I'll enjoy some of your worthless banter for feedback, because I'll expect nothing less from you, proving my point even more. So from no on if your just looking for positve feedback to feed your ego, than only allow your friends to view your diary and quit bitching.
from acuttersedge :
Thank you! I was feeling even more down when punkn-loser started to taunt me. Thank you for the advice. It doesn't fall on deaf ears. *hugs* Take care of yourself as well. -Lindsey
from his-holiness :
I've seen three different banners of yours in the last two days-D
from velvetclash :
cool diary <33
from his-holiness :
I've replaced it with a better one now-D
from his-holiness :
Dear Lord No! What kind of monster do you take me for? Besides which, I ain't got no time for skinny girls-D
from his-holiness :
It's a line from "Kindergarten" on Angel Dust, you know, "Swings on the playground don't even fit me anymore, folklore, write it a hundred times."
from chocochipw :
I believe you...and you're right, I do have a tendency towards sarcasm. Not being sarcastic here either. haha
from chocochipw :
thanks for making me smile. bye
from chocochipw :
If you have banners on this site, that come up on my computer, you'd better be able to handle the fact that not everyone will agree with your high and mighty opinion. Not to mention high and mighty musical "taste."
from chocochipw :
I can take it just fine, thank you. I'm still waiting for a reply, actually.
from chocochipw :
not once have I asked to be a "big rock ropresentative." it's people like you, who aspire to be impossibly eclectic in your choice of music, that really demonstrate how lost most of the music world is. I really think vinyl was a better medium, but sadly it's relevance is over, forever relegated to being a souvenir item in tainted commerical forums like Ebay or whatever convention you went to in some town last week that you hold up to such importance. My knowledge of rock music or music in general isn't dependent upon the amount of records I own. go ahead and call me a "kid", I wish you luck in achieving "attitude and rebellion" in your mid thirties. the music world is a sad one, but you my friend, are a disgrace.
from his-holiness :
I'm 29
from his-holiness :
Three things. 1)I have got a guestbook. 2) Vinyl is so not dead. 3) A gazillion years younger? How old do you think I am?
from chocochipw :
vinyl is dead
from chillidip :
Hope things are ok with you xxx
from his-holiness :
Have you seen Melt Banana? I saw them open for Mr. Bungle at the Fillmore back in '96. They're...noisy.
from his-holiness :
I did join, I just don't have the link up. Arlette does all that, and I haven't gotten her to put that up for me yet-D
from his-holiness :
I didn't realize they were playing Santa Cruz. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make it. Not having a car makes getting to shows a pain, and not having friends who can tolerate your music can make it difficult to find rides. But you're going to be around for those shows? You should contact me, let me know when you're going to be around. My e-mail is [email protected], I'd love to get to see at loeast one of the shows with you, as long (as it doesn't fall on the same date as Rollins). Take care-D
from jonathan :
Thanks Christina. I listen addictively to music for five hours a day as I write. I have a second hand record store by my feet, and a good 'boffin' like CD store around the corner. There's also an excellent library, with a music collection, across the road. What a place to have my 'writer's garret.' Currently listening to Opera, 70s disco, ballads, rock and punk, Pink, Michael Nyman, Joni Mitchell and Jemalia.
from bubaloo :
I've been in hibernation alot. I also got my computer back so I can type from home. But I'd love to go and have a coffee with ya sometime over there. Let me know...bub
from musicnut :
Hey, just got your note now. Sorry. They don't let people tape. Some guy had a camera and Rhazel was getting PISSED! He said that he'd stop the show if he saw the camera again. I know one of the DJ's video taped it from back stage and on stage. DJ RS One I think was his name. It was pretty cool though. Patton walked right by me in the club. He had just gotten there and he had luggage with him. I didn't say anything to him though. He looked like he was in a hurry. I have seen live patton and rahzel audio on the music downloading program soulseek. Dunno about vid though.
from ericboy :
You have missed your window. Unfortunately, I am no longer with Moonshine Junkie. After eleven months of rocking out and drinking and hanging out with them, they read my diary, assumed that I was "Talking shit" about the band, and kicked me out. I was confused and angry at first, but, hey, big deal. I'm currently in the market for another musical project closer to my taste. I'll let you know if anything pans out.
from jonathan :
Could I have some CD/Album titles for some of your favourite songsters? I can't go to the local record store and by the entire shelf, just one disc at a time would do - we also have a fantastic music library. Where does my eduction into the musical mind of iluvtunes begin?
from musicnut :
Yes I know that they're on tour. I've gotta get tix still to that one. I think that Delerium Corda is great. I like the ending the best. It's like Satan is pounding on your speakers. I have checked out DEP with and without Patton. They are nuts. I really like them with Patton. I tried to get an interview with Patton through my college news paper. I don't think it worked. Shitty. I can't wait till tomorrow!
from musicnut :
I'm gonna see Mike and Rahzel on Wednesday!!! What should I expect?
from chillidip :
in britain they used ring of fire to sell Hot, spicy noodles. I wasn't impressed. there was a documentary on here about johnny cash this week. the video for "hurt" makes me sob like a baby. have emailed you xx
from ericboy :
Hello. Still interested in catching my band at some point? We're playing 02/25 @ Dreamstreet in Ocean Beach @ 8:30pm, 02/28 @ Ocatillo (the desert) @ at some time in the early afternoon, and 03/05 @ Squid Joe's in Carlsbad @9:00pm. Try to come out. Meet me; shake my hand; find the face that goes with the self-loathing.
from chillidip :
glad someone agrees. hope youre ok at the moment, im a bit behind with diaries after life bit me on the arse.
from afghan-eyes :
Wow!! Your diary just blew me the heck out of the country, continent really. I loved your writing-style, it's completely spontaneous and I love it. Your ideas are similar to my own, it's like you're reading my mind, I absolutely love it!!~Mia
from person-421 :
god what did i just say. i take that all back! livejournal is a fucking teenage hell! all that teenage angst would kill me if i let it. argh.
from person-421 :
hey. just thought you'd like to know, my livejournal id is migreeni if you wanna read it. so : www.livejournal.com/users/migreeni. livejournal is much nicer to use than this thing. maybe i'll update person-421 once a year or something. anyways.. i think you really should get yourself an LJ. reallyreally. people would adore your musical taste there. and it's easier to find people at lj. not advertising at all! seriously, i don't know why i got a livejournal. haha. but, read it if you like.
from no-yes-maybe :
I really liked your diary... I had a good time reading it.
from musicnut :
I did not know this. I'm hoping for a tour. One where they're headling this time. I don't want to see them open for anyone and get booed. That would bother me. I'm waiting for the movie.
from his-holiness :
Have you heard the GTOs? They were a bunch of LA groupies in the late 60s who kicked it with Zappa. He got them into the studio and cut a record with them. I think the record was pressed once and re-released once on CD in 89. It's a fabtastic album with some of the most humorous, bizarre shit you're likely to hear. If you want I can get you a copy of the CD. You can e-mail me at [email protected] (and yes, that comes from Der Golem off Fantomas' the Director's Cut). Take care-D
from gojirashei :
Hey! I just saw a banner for your diary!!! It was kind of neat, I saw the picture of Mike Patton and realized, "I know who that is!" Eh, made me smile. Okay, that's all, have a good day!
from chillidip :
your profanities are most welcome. someone needed to say them ;o) raw foods are good. keep going with that, my homeopath swears by it, its eating the way our bodies were programmed for. i think you should give the regression a go but get out of there quick if she tells you youre sylvia plath or elvis. xxx
from ericboy :
My band is called Moonshine Junkie and the next show that we have booked is Wednesday, February 25th at Dreamstreet in Ocean Beach. We're hitting stage at 9:00pm, the first band of the evening. I don't know what the rest of the line-up is, but it should be fun. Thanks for the reccomendations; I'll certainly check them out.
from bub66ohm :
Hey! I love the computers at Lestat's! They are so big and it's like lookin' into a big picture frame! Wish you had gotten a hold of me, would love to talk sometime. Lates!
from his-holiness :
I go to the Caca Volante website from time to time, but after all the uninteresting crap I got from the Ipecac mailing list I'm not sure I want to sign up for another. Now that you've got it on my mind though, I'll probably go check it out now. Take care-D
from his-holiness :
I did know about Firecracker (have you been to the website?), apparently Patton got the role after Dennis Hopper backed out. And I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the new Fantomas, which was supposed to be out Oct. 21. Have you heard any useful information about Peeping Tom? That one's had us waiting for a couple of years. Talk soon-D
from ljungberg8 :
I just realised-im a menber of your diaryring against animal testing, wahoo!
from ljungberg8 :
Hi, I clicked the banner and liked what I saw. I do not usually click banners-so feel honoured. Nice butterflies and cute guy pic.
from bub66ohm :
Hey! I'm so sorry that I hadn't checked out your diary sooner. It is fuckin' bad ass! I've been a little incapacitated the last couple of months, I'm finally comin' back a round. Ooooh, hillbillies rock! I'm a bit a one myself. Hope ya don't mind if I add ya to my favs! The only thing that scared me was these butterflies chasin' my arrow around the screen. And me, without a net!
from ericboy :
So, it seems that this time it is you who is caught with your pants down. I logged in to the computer here to find you logged in on Diaryland. Honestly, now, what would we do without each other? You haven't talked to me in quite some time.
from arletterocks :
Mike Patton is purty.
from boyfromks :
Sure, I have 6 mp3z I can send you once I get back to SD on the 3rd. Also, can you email me your diary password . . . I forgot to write it down before you locked up.
from his-holiness :
I stumbled across you through Wilberteets. I just wanted to say that I am also a vegan (though not always as strict as conscience would dictate), I love Mike Patton, as well as other people and bands that you mention, and my mother was in her mid-teens when I was born. Truth be told she's not as near as cool as you though (she's certainly got her moments though). Take care of yourself-D
from chillidip :
the past life regression is very interesting though personally im not exactly sure what i would do with that information once i had it. hope your xmas passed smoothly and you have a good new years eve. xxx
from wilberteets :
Thanks girl. Have a Merry Christmas!
from gojirashei :
Heh, okay. Before you write whatever it is you write in italics, you type thus-- < i > (only without the spaces), and then when you've come to the end of your italics fling, you type < / i >. Again, without the nifty spaces. It's actually kinda simple, which makes me feel even stupider for not figuring it out until now. Hope it works for ya! (Oh, by the way, Tomahawk? Fucking rules.)
from musicnut :
hahaha. You talk about mine being locked??? And now your's is??? Ok!!! Mine's unlocked now and I'm too lazy to e-mail you.
from chillidip :
it was locked a minute ago because i just typed the password in. xxx
from person-421 :
hi there. no need to send me any melvins stuff, there is a great music store in the nearby city that has all the melvins in the world.. there's cd's, lp's, posters... fucking dvd's. so that's pretty much all the melvins i need. but thanks anyway.. you sure can still amaze with being so nice and all even when we don't even know each other really! yes i'll tell ludwico you said hi.
from musicnut :
You are an amazing being. Thanks for the info.
from incesticided :
You've got to be the most coolest person in their mid 30's that I've ever came across. Yay for you! :D
from starke- :
Thank you (really). I've been wondering for a while how people do that but never got around to asking anyone.
from ericboy :
Thanx for looking out for me in this sharks-can't-sleep seedy coffee house. I have checked out Tomahawk. I have the first album and have heard the second in its entirety. They were booked to open for Tool the last time I saw them, but half the band didn't make it, Mike being part of that half. Tool made up for it by pulling the two in attendance on stage and initiating a sixteen minute jam session. It was worth it! Drop me a line from time to time and recommend some other stuff. I've always got my ears open for good music. -ericboy @ lestat's
from irishblueyes :
I have to say I can't believe I haven't found your diary before considering how I alway seem to be searching for people on diaryland with good musical taste. You have a great diary, and I couldn't believe the picture you have on it. I have a design site as well and was going to make a layout around that picture. I love that old pulp/pinup art. Anyway, love your diary, there aren't enough real music fans in the world. Glad to have found another one! Peace. - Kristina
from wilberteets :
Thanks for the compliment on my dagala dog. I'll have to post pictures of the rest of my fur babies. I have another dog, a cat, and a ferret. It's a petting zoo. And... regarding the operaman... he pursued my sister like it was his supreme calling, and then when he got busted, he turned on her like a rabid racoon and started concocting his "Bunny boiler" story. He tried to make it seem like she was some kind of obssessed proofrok fan who just wouldn't leave him alone. Quite amazing. I've never seen someone do such a vicious and complete change of personality like that before. Oh well... live and learn. :-)
from wilberteets :
Aha! Not reading my diary eh?? Why I oughta... I've been following the saga of you and your true love. Harumph. But to be honest, I haven't seen any latest scoop on that... I've just been wrecking my car and stuff. You should go to my diary at once and see my adorable doglet. I finally got a picture of him posted and it's too cute. :-)
from myramains :
Hey Chicklette. I found all your comments today and was pleased to see you; been wondering where you went! Thanks for reading all my stuff. About Operaman: I know. I'm so wrong for that. Swear to God, though: i thought he was being truthful. That doesn't excuse chatting up a married man, though, and I still feel like a loser in the morals game for letting that happen. The good news? I'll never ever do that again. He turned into a REALLY vicious fellow when his wife caught him...you know, he's a victim, I stalked him, yada yada. For the record...I didn't. I just got sucked in by his clever words and how sweet he was to me, plus my 14 year marriage had dissolved. Looking at it now, I can see he never really meant anything he said and was just lookin' fer poon from a vulnerable and lonely dummy. I swear, I'm an idiot. So there's that. The weight loss? Well, Operaman said it best, I guess: "Diet pill munching whore". Yes, that's what started it. Adapex. I started taking them 3 weeks before I left my husband, and divorce did the rest. I'm glad to have heard from you, Christina. :) Come back girlie!
from person-421 :
can i just express my growing jealousy about you meeting mike patton? so here it comes: FUCK. unbelievable. i see things happen when you live in the usa. but not me, hehe, gotta live in this fucking fridge with my ducking parents for fuck's sake. fuckfuckfuck. heh. sorry about that one. anyway, i had something normal to say as well. i was thinking, if you like that mike patton's human-voice-noise-stuff, i thought you might like the music of this finnish guy, kimmo pohjonen. he makes music with an accordion and his own body. it's fucking great. a bit like fantomas i might say. visit www.kimmopohjonen.com for more info. haha. i'm like a fucking brochure here. or how do you spell that... anyway.
from boyfromks :
Not the education department, but yes, from a UCSD IP address.
from boyfromks :
Me? Vegan? No, but a lot of my friends are veggie/vegan. I like to cook for my friends, so I've learned to expand my skills so they aren't left out.
from tace-one :
Thats FUCKING AWESOME how you met Mike Patton.. and i thought i was all special cause i met system of a down.. that show sounded wicked too!! i hope they bring that to the big day out or something! Tomahawk played it last year so maybe
from chillidip :
that sounds pretty scary. my house burning down is one of my biggest crazy fears. i think i'd end up with my cats under one arm and a bag of cds, books and photos on the other. hope it dies down soon and doesnt reach you.
from tace-one :
Haha i was pretty stoned when i posted that.. it was nothing really.. i sent him an email the other day saying how i just found out bout his new album and how i was gonna cop it the next day.. he just replied sayin thanks and that hes working on some new good shit right now.. so cant wait for that. So yeah.. i blew everything way out of proportion. But its still cool how he replied. The System of a down story is better.. did you read that one?
from tace-one :
Guess who just sent me an email.. Prince Paul. Yes my hero and musical inspiration Prince Paul.. Not some half-assed "prince" from some tiny insignificant country but The proper Prince Paul. Thats cool for a guy in New Zealand. First System of a Down now this
from dulligirl :
Thanks for your note. I have no idea how I came to be this old either. I certainly don't act it. Most of the people at the concert were about 15 years younger than me but I try to not let it bother me. I go for the music.
from grimm0826 :
I LOVE this diary...would you mind if I added you as a favorite?
from dulligirl :
Cool site. Hey, I just saw Radiohead yesterday in concert. I wrote a bit about it in my diary.
from chillidip :
hey thanks for your message. i appreciate it. ive got a lot of catching up to do with your diary but i'll get there. hope youre doing ok. im off to vote for your hillbilly. take care xxx
from ninjajesus :

My birthday actually isn't December 7th, I just love the date. ha, that sounds strange. kindred spirits, definitely! <333 take care.
from person-421 :
hiya. you really made my day much better with that note you left! speaking for myself AND ludwico, we would be so thrilled to take a plane and visit you. or maybe we could move in.. seriously, we have actually been planning to do the arto saari thing and move to california one day. that's where all the music comes from, isn't it?
from ninjajesus :
aside frome the overwhelming coolness of your diary there is nothing in this world that rivels the awsomness of the butterfly thingy that follows my mouse around while on your site
from funda :
love your energy (and music)
from musicnut :
Thank you for clearing that up for me. I have been wondering for years.
from person-421 :
hi there. you know, i just had a phone discussion with my friend ludwico, and we were talking about caca volante people. so i mentioned you, and ludwico mentioned you as well. that's kinda funny. ludiwco's name is malley at cv. and there was more i was gonna say.. you should really visit this nice russian band's website at tigerlillies.ru , the band is fucking insane! can't read a word of the texts at the site, but the music is so wonderful. so, give it a try.
from musicnut :
Oh, ok, I knew he had something to do with it, I wasn't sure what though. Is it the same guy?
from gotmewrong :
you have awesome taste in music, and you sound cool as hell. i wish my mom had half the personality that you do. Mike Patton is definitley a genius and i agree that he should be fucking worshipped by all.
from lilpunky666 :
I just want to say that you are totally awesome cuz mike patton is the frickin man! i also think its wicked cool how much different kinds of music you like. nice job!
from design-doll :
hehehe that is why you have a template that is similar to mine! and then you can change the picture on the left whenever you want! hehehehehe ok ok i tried, but still!
from allthatsleft :
I've started listening to all of these Mike Patton bands, and all I can say is that TOMAHAWK RULES! Point and Click = worthy of a Patton's greatest hits album.
from henkilo421 :
yeah, i've heard about that movie. and i'm so fucked up with excitement about it! it's lovely. i also know about that all starring thing, and my friend got the jesus out of me when she told me!
from orange-cloud :
ok, so I mean, you know all the codes in your 'change your template'? all the diaryring codes in there, just cut and paste it into 'add and entry' and name it 'rings' and the html 'rings'.
from musicnut :
HOLY FUCKING SHIT BATMAN!!!! WHEN????? WHEN CAN I SEE IT?!?!?!?!? OH MY GOD THAT'S THE GREATEST FUCKING NEWS EVER!!!!! Is there some connection with Patton and Hopper? He was sampled from Blue Velvet on Mr. Bungle. "Pabst Blue Ribbon Fuck!!!"
from orange-cloud :
hey you know, i really like your diary and stuff but it is really really cluttered. perhaps making your rings into a page and getting a new layout? I'm just saying you should consider it, http://beautify.diaryland.com/freetemps.html there are a lot of layouts there.
from sambadelic :
Hey, Hi! My burner is a stereo component, and doesn't go thru my computer. If it did I guess I could clean up the sound a bit before it's digified, but everybody needs a bit of roughage, right? I'm a swapping fool, though - email me at [email protected] w/your info and I'll send something at you soon.
from voodoolex :
thanks for the note! you're pretty musically diverse youself ... i like that ... no room for small mindedness in this world ... i am lame at notes ... i added you to my favourites ...! Mrs. Lex Patton
from allthatsleft :
Yeah I actually do know who Wesley Willis is, me and my friends would listen to him all the time. My favourite song of all time was Cut The Mullet (go to the barbershop and tell him you're tired of looking like an ASShole). And I had no idea that those other bands you mentioned existed, I'm only aware of Mr. Bungle so far. I'll look into it!
from allthatsleft :
Shit, do you rule. If I had a nickel for every person I knew who loves Mr. Bungle, I'd have....like fourteen cents.
from orange-cloud :
yeah i know, isn't it really embarrassing? i like good music considering my age.
from orange-cloud :
wow, you seem really cool though, you know? and your profile! whoa, it's really long :D
from segyoo :
get rid of a record collection!?!? fwaa? but i guess that there are stranger things going on each and ever day in this world.
from gymclassrope :
....and the most mind-boggling part wuz you still like him, knowing he has a girl friend.
from chillidip :
thats awful. i hope the police lock him away. take care xxx
from indrid-cold :
of course, you know it's me.
from indrid-cold :
Who's rhp?
from wilberteets :
Girlfriend, that was some rude shit I read about you in that guy's diary. If you look through the older entries, there are only 16 total, and whoever is writing it is trying to be as repulsively offensive as possible. Lots of racial hatred and stuff going on in there. ~Teets
from playwithme :
re: I love Tomahawk! That's what I would have my tattoo guy play for me when I was getting my tattoos
from wilberteets :
Hi Christina, I will do your chart as soon as I can get to it. I have your month and day but I need your year of birth, location, nearest city if you are in a small unheard of town, and the time of birth if you have it. Full date of birth, city of birth, and time of birth. If you don't know the time you were born, I can't figure your rising sign. But I can still get everything else. ~Teets
from gwenllian :
There is a really good website at http://www.lissaexplains.com/. I learned everything I know about HTML there (it is written for kids), and I showed Proofrok most of what he knows. You might want to check it out.
from proofrok :
Here's the code for linking someone <a href="http://person.website.com">Person</a> obviously 'person.website.com' is just an example thingy. Things to remember-the quotes and the endtag </a> As in all code the spacing and everything is important. If I were going to refer to you and link, I'd write in my entry screen the following- <a href="http://iluvtunes.diaryland.com">iluvtunes, or christina,</a> anything between the beginning, like your diary or name above, and end tag will be underlined as a link. Have fun!
from tace-one :
I Know! it sucks! just like the white stripes are only playing in auckland and wellington in the north island and not coming down south.. we get that a lot.. so many great bands come to australia and just forget about us.. but i saw tomahawk play an awesome set at the big day out earlier this year and saw the white stripes and got to hang out with system of a down the year before at the same festival! Not sure if im going to go next year though.. Metallica is headlining so that means the mullethead ratio will be well over 80% which ensures a completely different environment.. also the linkin park rumours are beginning to surface.. might and well get ruben and clay up there in a croon-off or something. pop bastards.
from tace-one :
Hey i just found those notes u left me! ive kinda been neglecting the hell out of my 'diary'.. its been laying dormant for like.. a few months.. ( i like to use the term 'laying dormant').. well anyway i just checked out your profile for the first time and you definately take the musical taste award.. cant even begin to explain the glaring omission of mike in my profile but i would like to let your mind at ease by assuring you that the problem has been rectified and will not happen again. keep up the interesting entries.. feel free to write back anytime :)
from omni102 :
Yes, I do have vinyl (only 12 crates, but it's building), and I'll be reading! P.S. I like your choice of authors...
from playwithme :
ahaha! thanks for the note!! that was hilarious, the bit about my husband. is all such a dorky joke, and people are getting so angry! i love it! it's all the "do better/enlightened" ones too. somebody even left a note to one of my best friends who has him listed as a favorite, it was something like: "how can you read rhp's diary? he's sick" ha! if anybody took the time to say, "oh hey, he has a wife", and then read even one entry of my journal, they would see it's all a goof. anyways. we used to live in san diego too but now we live in texas.
from kurthurts :
Cynthia Plaster-Caster. Sadly, I didn't even have to look that up. It takes a willing musician to um.."sit" for Cynthia and Jack doesn't exactly strike me as the kind of fellow to sit for something as ego-inflating as that exercise may be...I'd love to know where you got the information. And I'm sure Jack would also...
from kurthurts :
No, sweetie, I made up the part about the third grade and Ms. Tharber. It just reminds me of a very well-written essay over a subject that only a third grader could appreciate. Although, I appreciate it, because I often have to jump behind the counter at Braum's here and SHOW 'EM HOW TO DO EVERYTHING! But, let's go ahead and believe that everything you said about Jack is true...(wink! wink!) Which it may very well be, because my friend saw him live and came away with some envy about the pants that he said were quite, ahem, large in certain areas. "He needs to get looser pants! I couldn't get anyone to notice me that night!"
from person-421 :
so there, person-421 is the english-speaking henkilo421. so go check out my life with this name. nothing really special, though.. there is much more interesting stuff in the finnish diary. but anyway. read it, so you'll get some kind of a picture about my boring life. hehe. btw i love the song spider baby too. it's awesome.
from hiv :
I'll have to check out Tomahawk.
from hiv :
Teehee, I already love Lamb. I bought their CD, "What Sound" about a week ago.. They're amazing. And I like Fantomas aswell -- I bought their "Director Cut" album about a year ago. It's awesome. I love "Spider Baby" .. hehe. Thanks for the suggestions though! I appreciate it. ;D =->
from wilberteets :
Hiya! Yes, I did download some Tomahawk and you are right! Good stuff. I have to ask my other patton pusher friend if he knows about Tomahawk. Surely he does. I also have read Clive Barker! I read the Books of Blood, and I have Cabal, but haven't finished it. I read a lot of non-fiction, and back when I discovered Clive Barker, I read the Books of Blood and loved it, but went through a phase after that of reading only non-fiction and I temporarily lost interest in the horror genre. Then I snapped back and discovered Anne Rice and had to read all her stuff. I have stacks of books that I haven't even had time to read. Seems like you and I have some tastes in common. ~Teets
from henkilo421 :
so you knew.. ok. i have no idea either where my email address was up. maybe i put it there when i signed your guestbook? or did i? if i didn't, this is just way too weird. 'cause i don't think it's in my profile. or something. well, nevermind. thanks for the email. now, i'm gonna go and read it.
from henkilo421 :
hey. no i haven't, actually. (read any other books from anthony burgess.) maybe i should read the one you mentioned. just that i have about three books that i haven't finished reading yet.. you e-mailed me, you know. i'm the Amadeus dude. "i may have to marry this person". i like that.
from neuroticaa :
interesting how you have your "i love ALL music" ring right next to your "i hate pop music" ring.. although i'm all for art and the art statement, music=entertainment.
from wilberteets :
Hey girl, I am listening to Mike Patton singing "Last Cup of Sorrow" with Faith No More, and it reminded me of you. It just makes you wanna..... ;-)
from henkilo421 :
oh, and. related to that tomahawk-melvins message over there... they were actually about to throw a gig in helsinki, finland, but then, all of a sudden, it was canceled. so irritating. not that i would have had the right age to go there, but anyway. right. bye.
from henkilo421 :
hi there. just noticed that you've actually added me to that thing (buddy list, or whatever). i just couldn't believe it. thanks. you're right, it's in finnish. my diary, i mean. not so practical for someone who would actually like to read it, but it works for me. you know, most of my internet-buddies are finnish.. so.. yeah. bye. Mike Patton forever. right?
from kurthurts :
Dude, I saw Chan live and there was only one opening band. The show lasted from 9:00 until 1:00 in the morning. I sewed a line drawing type picture of her on my shirt and my friend Chase's (who's not my friend anymore) and we showed them off to her before the show and she said very sweetly,"Aw! You're OBSESSED!" We got to meet her afterwards and she signed a set list and The Covers Record for me. She shook my hand and said that she enjoyed meeting me and that I was unique girl who she was certain had talent...Didn't all girls have talent? Augh! I'm in love!!!
from boyfromks :
My fellow San Diegan, thanks for the compliments. Would you change your opinion if I admitted to only owning one piece of vinyl? Ha ha! At any rate, you have stellar taste in music and movies as well. Oh, and the little heart thingy is cool as well.
from boyfromks :
I like the "Got Vinyl?" banner! Very nice.
from funda :
Yes, your diary is a sweet ode to music.
from asteroidbelt :
dammit. i'm jealous. i dunno about the rftc tattoo thing either. but at least it's a nice design.
from asteroidbelt :
really. ok. that's just cool. are they at least nice to you and tip you well??
from asteroidbelt :
it's nice to see a girl who's a music nerd. there aren't nearly enough.
from nenna :
Thanks for the welcome! I joined the other two rings, too, now! =) You be safe and take care of yourself. Peace + Love
from gojirashei :
Hey, I read your entry about Harry Chapin-- he's pretty decent, in small doses. :-) I'd reccommend "Verities And Balderdash" first, it's easily his most accessible, least heavy-handed, plus hey, it has "Cats In The Cradle." And I'm sorry to hear things didn't work out with the hillbilly.
from justaddsugar :
I really like blues... I mean everytime I hear it its like damn... but I didnt know to many names...I knew of people like Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday.... but not to many... you should so recomend stuff for me to hear... I totally appreciate it... thanks... Amber
from celticshadow :
Anytime...
from pureparadise :
Sorry about the delay...I recently ran out of CDs and right now I'm getting more made. The CDs are 10 bucks. They're a personal fundraiser for my school trip to San Diego. If you want more info about the transition (where to send payment, etc) you can email me at [email protected]. Thanks!
from kurthurts :
Augh! I love you and your darling profile! I just started my new diary, so I have to work a little more on mine...I love it!
from chillidip :
hey, thanks for making a blues ring. now i just need one for alt.country. :) hope the frog missus forgives you ;)
from wilberteets :
I'll give Tomahawk a listen. There is another Patton pusher in my life. I'm very surprised that he hasn't already loaded me up with Tomahawk MP3s. He sneaks Mr. Bungle on my pc every time he comes over. I think Mike Patton is very talented and easy on the eyes (bonus). I'm not exceedingly wild about the Mr. Bungle stuff, (which is why I keep finding it loaded back to my pc. The other Patton pusher cannnot accept the fact that I don't love the Bungle.) but I love lots of other stuff Patton has done. Thanks, ~Wilberteets
from indie-snob :
Hello, I just reviewed two White Stripes shows I saw and thought you may be interested. I have a ton of other concert and album reviews here, too, including Cat Power, Sleater-Kinney w/ the Black Keys, Beck w/ the Black Keys, Yo La Tengo, and Radiohead. Check it out, thanks!
from veganvixenuk :
Joined your other diaryrings. Thanks for letting me know about them. I now belong to more diaryrings than i have diary entries - i should stop reading other people's and write my own! Take care, Laura
from behrwithme :
Thanks. :) Your diary rings are wicked as hell, and your musical choices...rock on. I'll be back to read more, on a personal level. Merry part- Jess
from veganvixenuk :
I *had* to leave you a note when i joined your Peta diaryring because i saw we had stuff in common. I'm also a vegan and believe strongly in animal and human rights. And i'm really interested in wicca right now. Although i haven't chosen my path yet. Anyway, just thought i'd say hi!
from honeybob55 :
Hey, Caca Volante is a great website! As is Bungle fever, but I have yet to witness The Musical World of Mike Patton. I'll check it out as soon as I get some sleep, i promise..... well, from 16 job applications I have had 0 replys.....and believe me, I give up easily :) But i'll have to keep trying with Tomahawk being so close.... Would you believe it, I have yet to buy a Melvins album! I've listened to many songs, but I always seem to forgot them wehn I'm looking for Cd's.....so, I need a reccomendation - which album first? Okay, ta-ta!
from honeybob55 :
Well, I just found out that tomahawk (and melvins) are playing in notingham next month, so I'm on the long sad search for a job to fund it. <shudder> Perhaps then I can go buy a Clive Barker book to.... Oh, and I downloaded Tomahawk playing "Violence" by mott the hoople, live, which was....interesting! okay, see-ya
from edgarfrog :
I thought I'd warn you about something I figured out. Did you know that anybody who knows you live in California, and that your zip code is 92117, and that your favorite movie is A Clockwork Orange has complete and total access to your iluvtunes Hotmail account? I don't know why anybody would know all that information about you....but, hypothetically, if they did know your home state, zip code, and favorite movie, they could totally read all your e-mail and even change your Hotmail password. Just thought I'd let you know. Don't say I never did anything for you. Being the nice guy that I am, incidentally, I haven't abused my power and knowledge. Your secrets are safe....for now.
from rottengrrrl :
hey! how's it goin? of course im up to join the other ring =) no prob..hats a pleasure =) ** stay rad
from gojirashei :
Greetings. I am indeed a follower in the ways of Mike, though admittedly, I feel like my knowledge of him is a bit more limited than others (just Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, and "Pranzo Oltranzista"). But that was enough to get me hooked. Your knowledge and passion for music is both humbling and exciting. -bcf

from musicnut :
Tomahawk was great. Just like on the CD. Patton puts sooo much energy into the live show. I love him. The Melvins played too long. You couldn't hear their lyrics, just like the CDs.

I see I see. So you're a witch???? Please! I don't want to be a frog! Hahaha. Joking. I know enough about that to know that.... uh.... yeah. I mean.... I'm not dumb.... yes I am. Hmm. I have a good idea what it's about. My second guitar teacher was kinda into it.
from musicnut :
I is in Philly. By pop do you mean like the boy bands? Cause I hate that shit too. Or do you mean pop-culture? Cause that would inclued SOAD and FNM.
from musicnut :
Thank you thank you. So are you really against popular music? What is your favorite band(s)? I know I can't point to just one band.
from musicnut :
Yes, you told me about the Patton ring. This past week was a crazy concert week. Music is good. You have too many rings still. Bad!
from ryvre :
Heh, I'm not fabulous...actually, I was surprised there weren't more rings like that. Anyway, thanks, and good taste in music/movies. Later.
from inherprime :
i was flippin' shocked to be the first person to join. it's a shame, really, that people either just don't listen to it enough or don't appreciate it.
from bonkersquipy :
welcome to the anti-nsync and kafka diaryrings...and thanks for joining
from honeybob55 :
Yo! If you haven't already done so, I urege you to download and listen to Isis. They're on Mike Pattons Ipecac label, and they're.............good. Toodle doo!! :P
from sugarbabylon :
thanks for joining the X ring ^-^ *MWAH!* evening evening ~
from low-light :
are the links on your template white? if they are, that's probably why the banner won't show up right. i'll mess with html code a bit and see how it works after that. you're not the only one who has this problem, i'm sure.
from thisisjohn :
ok. this is what happened. I lost my hosting on the site I was hosting on. the bad news is, I dont have another pic to replace that one. I will work on anotherone, so just be patient. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I really appreciate it. John
from thisisjohn :
Im sorry about the pic. I didnt see the ihatecreed even listed in your rings though. I tried to look to see if it was coming up to help, but didnt see it. I dont do much maintenence with that ring. I just let it go. But if more people complain about the graphic, I will be sure to fix it. thanks! john
from lerin :

from lost-x-soul :
hey there .. yea ive been ok .. just working hard on writing music for this new band with Tom Sizemore .. you wouldnt believe the things that are going on ... hey if you get the chance e-mail me so we can talk through there instead of notes .... [email protected]
from honeybob55 :
I'm addicted to the new White Stripes and Deftones singles.....sad eh? So, favourite song from Mit Gas? I'd say it's either Rape this Day or Mayday.......must be something about songs with "day" in the title that attracts me.......or maybe not......I hated that Perfect Day song that was released for charity years ago........really hated it....
from honeybob55 :
Mike Patton always says it before anyone else thinks it.......what a guy. I've heard OF a couple of those bands, but I haven't heard any of them yet......oh well, lots more good music to look forward to I suppose..... Fantomas is like Tomahawks twisted siamese sister....I love it! It's goddamn hard to type when you got the munchies though....
from musicnut :
I will try to get there early enough. The only problem is that I'm going with 2 other people and they're not like me with this. They probably wouldn't wanna get there that early. I have seen them on their last tour. It was great. Patton puts on a great show. I loved it.
from musicnut :
I would love to join the Mike Patton web ring. How do I do it???? I'm gonna see Tomahawk this month!!!!! I must meet him. I must....
from lost-x-soul :
i live in southern cali .. if you have any messengers we can talk on that if you want ... i have msn yahoo and aim ... msn - [email protected] ... yahoo - mf_axe_vox .. aim - misturbungle ... we can talk more on those and talk about how amazing patton is.. i didnt go to the show last night or monday .. but i did see them at amoeba music for free right before they went on tour with tool .. i was like 5 feet away from patton .. it was definitely a spiritually enlightening experience
from lost-x-soul :
How do i join the patton ring ... also your musical taste and taste in movies is enough to make you one of my favorite persons in the world ... have you heard the new tomahawk album "mit gas" .. its amazing
from honeybob55 :
Hey, I'm happy to join the Mike diaryring! After all, he IS the best :) And I LOVE Mr. Bungle and Fantomas.......still haven't heard Dillinger Escape Plan yet, but I'm onto it!
from honeybob55 :
he he, okay, I'll get back to you. In the meantime, just gotta wait for the new tomahawk album....... and i'll be checking your diary to hear about that tomahawk gig you're going to.... Cya later!
from honeybob55 :
Okay okay, next time I go to the book store, i'll look for those books.....I'm sure they'll be worth it.. I'm still trying to read all of Stephen Kings books, but I lost my copy of Skelenton Crew, so thats slowed me down :( Can't wait for the next Dark Tower Book though..... You sure make a good point about Tomahawk.....and I can certainley believe how good Mike is live....plus, on my birthday, 5 days before, I'm getting 3,500 out of a trust fund, so money ain't a problem! I'm sure i'll go....
from honeybob55 :
Well, i'll try and read some Clive Barker if i get a chance, but I havr read H.P. Lovecraft and Poe.....their stories are in a different league to Stephen King.....i guess......? As for tomahawk...I sure might go to see them in Norway, cos it's 5 days after my birthday! That would be great.....oh well, I can hope
from honeybob55 :
sniff......I'm so damn jealous......not only do you get to see tomahawk live, which is more than enough, you get to sed the melvins too! Fantastic! But, i'm holed up in rainy UK, so I doubt i'll ever get that chance........<sniffle>
from honeybob55 :
you're damn right, Tomahawk ARE the best band......and their new album sounds even better than the first one! Let's hope Mike Patton never dies.....or stops writing music.
from jonathan :
Thanks for your comment about the diary - I've always loved writing about sex! Doing it too of course :) I blame 'The Hite Report' which became my bible age 14 - I was desperate to try it all out and do the best I could. Music, new music, is vital to me too; I'm eclectic, I'll listen to anything and will always follow up recommendations. I'm running of a list of your favourites and heading off to London to raid the largest music store in Europe, either teh Virgin Megastore or HMV on Oxford Street. I find music inspirational, soothing and inspiring. It is the best 'cave' devised.
from inkedgal :
i see you like soul. i'm a huge sam cooke fan. his album the rhythm and the blues is mostly standards but he's so amazing that he makes each song his own. that one and the man and his music (i think it is. i loaned that one to someone and never got it back) is more personal. rock. -jdb
